Took too long to respond on my request to issue tax invoice. Bern denied the issuance of my tax invoice even after I reached out to the receptionist personally long after my stay and was informed they couldn’t provide it due to payment was made directly to booking.com. I had requested through booking.com also but no response.

Clean and easy to find food because a lot of kopitiam and restaurant near by. Even Ecosave supermarket also next by.

The room is clean and comfortable as usual. Location is not far from down town. Will be good if you have a car to drive around. Not recommended for those prefer to walk.

During our stay, the staffs decided to reprogram the door lock so when we come back from dinner and shopping, we are not able to access to our room. I spoke to the technician and was told they are in the progress of programming all the rooms electronic lock. Then I told him that they should have program the door lock when there is no hotel guests using those rooms and not when someone is occupying the room. Furthermore our rooms are not the last 2 to program. There are still many rooms not programmed yet. So I don't know why they need to do it when we are staying there and not before and after. This is to me poor planning. Other than that, everything else is fine.

We love everything! There's a basement parking and it's super convenient since it was raining heavily when we came. The staff were super friendly. The breakfast food was excellent! The bed was so comfortable and i had a good night sleep that night.

HOTEL IS CLEAN AND ROOM IS QUITE BIG. WE ARRIVED QUITE EARLY AND HOTEL STAFF IS KIND AND FRIENDLY . THEY ALSO ALLOW US TO CHECK IN EARLY AND PROVIDED US WITH A ROOM AS SOON AS ONE IS AVAILABLE. NOT TOO FAR FROM AIRPORT - ONLY ABOUT 20 MINUTES BY CAR AWAY. WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN IF WE VISIT BINTULU FOR WORK .

NOTHING TO COMPLAINT BUT DUE TO THE HIGH OCCUPANCY, WAS UNABLE TO GET A KING SIZED BED ROOM. SO BOOK A BIT EARLIER IF WISH TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Nice hotel room with nice morning breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel located at the edge of Bintulu town, but there are few restaurants, supermarket and mosque behind the hotel.

Went over for the buffet dinner during Valentine's Day. Buffet was listed as "International"; however, there were only 8 main dishes, which were unlikely to be "international" level. BBQ ribs were tough. I am not a picky eater, and that says a lot. As a Marriott chain hotel, extremely disappointing. Price-wise, alongside the Marriott's name, it's safe to say I'm not going to repeat the experience. Staffs were friendly. Place were clean. Just the food part.

The staff especially Miss Yukie, Garvey and other front desk staffs are extremely helpful and friendly to help us settle down in the hotel and the city.

The service is "NOT" meet my requirement and the hotel standard it.. - No welcoming for the guest but they will do for some highher (VIP) members only, Maybe? -Front counter service Not Much to Smile and soffly spoke up to guest. -No bellboy or front service customer to serve if guest coming to checknin and also to collect the luggage, once customer arrive.. Need guest also to call and talk to get help from them and also offer to help guest.. - Double standard service to show - Overalll ( NOT Happy and Disappointed!!.)

Check in staff was not professional, keeps reminding me that only have one breakfast! I will pay for my sister don’t worry but don’t keep repeating it as if I won’t pay!

Basement parking so scary. Too loud at night can’t sleep because in front mat rempit racing the whole night. Room so smelly like old wet carpet. Room quite dirty and some light not working. Quite pricey for the small rooms. Breakfast was good but staff at the restaurant maybe can’t understand the instructions we gave for our order. Wrongly every order even ask for hard boiled eggs but given half boiled eggs. So disappointing!!

The room rate is expensive RM410/night but yet NO breakfast was provided.

There were many motorists (Mat Rempit) riding along the main road in front of the hotel start from midnight till 3am creating so much loud noise.

On our recent road trip from Miri to Sibu we stopped over again at the Fairfield by Marriott to have lunch. The hotel is very conveniently located in the Paragon complex with plenty of free underground parking and easy access to the hotel from the basement. There is even a Shell station nearby with Euro 5 Diesel. Upon entering the restaurant we were cheerfully greeted by Azmi who recognised us from our previous visit. We ordered two of the set lunch promotions. I had the chicken chop and my wife had the chicken rendang. The food prepared by chef Omar was fresh, delicious and tasty. We even got a discount as Marriott BonVoy members. Within an hour we were back to our car and on our way to Sibu. Well done to all the Fairfield Marriott Bintulu team as everyone was professional from the security guard at the basement entrance who checked the temperature and MySejatra registration to the front desk staff who greeted us upon entering the lobby. For sure, we will be back on the return trip to Miri.

I like the location because near to the mall unfortunately the mall doesn't fit the ambience of the hotel.

We're expecting to have more local Bintulu or Sarawak special food for breakfast.

I been staying the early of May for 5 days. I like staying at your hotel. Your staffs very friends and helpful. especially your Manager - Anthony. Manage solve my problem during my stay at hotel. He arrange a taxi send to Money Charger payment collect later. He very good and keep asking me and showing places. He professional communication make me happy stay with hotel. Everydays asking my trips showing where to go nice places in Bintulu. I will return when my next visit and booking to marriott apps get cheaper rate show my your manager Anthony & Jascintha. Fairfield by Marriott is possibly the old international hotel chain in Bintulu. Free parking at front of hotel. Easy check in. All day dining restaurant with beer happy hours every day. Clean and functional rooms. Good wifi. Good gym on ground floor.

We stayed here for a single night, arriving at the hotel in the early evening. And we were glad that we did. Our room was modern and minimalistic in design, but decently furnished and very comfortable. It had everything that we needed and wanted for our room. The connectivity and lighting in the room was superb. The bathroom also had a rainfall shower, which we very much liked. The hotel is located right next to a mall(sparsely occupied), a grocery store, and a few restaurants. We took advantage of the close proximity and had dinner at one of those restaurants. The restaurant had a solidly good breakfast buffet that morning, with very decent choices hot and cold, savory and sweet. We also had the late checkout option which allowed us to relax in our room until our evening flight from Bintulu. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay, and wished we could’ve stayed longer. But we will choose this hotel again the next time we are in Bintulu.

Rooms r cleans and good. The gym was amazing and the added pool table is great. Breafast is okay.

The location is a bit dull in the shoploft however the pasar Malam is convenient.
