Staffs were not understanding the customer needs! Not helpful at all especially the front desk! Food is reasonably good. Cooperation with customer is missing ! They didn't provided the room what we booked.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The service was excellent and the overall ambience was perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The kids especially loved the swimming pool and play areas. A lovely place to spend quality time together as a family.

One area that could be improved is the bathroom windows, as it would be better if they were properly enclosed for more privacy and comfort. It would also be helpful to provide wheelchair accessibility, especially for families travelling with elderly members.

Literally nothing

We booked Lake view room and first of all there wasn’t water in the lake. The room floor was creeky and the room walls had gap in between. There was not even a mirror in the room. The bathroom was very small. Not even a hanger to hang our clothes. The breakfast, so called ‘buffet’ literally had only very few options. I think they don’t even clean the pools. It was very dirty. Overall I would say don’t come here by the reels you see in instagram.

We liked the location.

The room was cleaned just before we arrived, so it was still wet and dampened smell. The swimming pool is small and it was not free at all. No privacy. Time slots could be alloted.

There were insects inside my zoom like palm size big spider, frog, leeaches and Lizard and flies

The location and room size, privacy was good and food also good

The bathroom was smelly a bit and swimming pool was not very clean, rest was all good

Staff were so helpful, even with our very late arrival after midnight due to flight delays, great to have breakfast available on site and our daughter loved the pool and playground.

Nothing we didnt like, but we cannot comment on location as we only traveled late from the airport and left the next morning to drive to Wayanad.

If you are going to NIT then this is a good choice else this is not suitable for anyone else.

It is not value for money. Located in a remote place. The taxi arrangement by them is very expensive. It caused me Rs. 750 to get dropped off at IIT- Kozhikode. In case of emergency there is no point of contact. The food is very expensive and there is no nearby location for alternative food. There is no labelling for Shampoo and Body wash.

May be room door locks replaced

Everything was too good. We were lucky to have some tender coconut offered by, probably, the owner. We ordered some french fries and ate them at the beautiful open pavilion in the light of candles It was the waaw moment for me and, for kids, no doubt, the pool. The breakfast was exemplary! Incomparable! The park, the pets, the pool and the pavilion near our cozy room... Thank you so much. .

Initially at the arrival, I just felt a little gloomy as I felt the guy in the reception could be a little more open and pleasant in communication rather than being focused on checking our details. I think whoever is at the reception must be knowing the details of upcoming guests.( name, booking, amount paid). During departure it was all good. Next time I'm expecting a better welcome .

It’s so quiet here, just the sound of the waves. Perfect if you need to unplug for a few days.

Disappointed with our stay. The property was overpriced for its compact size. Vegetarian options were severely limited, and room windows faced the pathway, compromising privacy – had to keep blinds shut constantly. Staff seemed untrained and unhelpful. Worst part? No hot water and abysmal shower pressure. 😒

Breakfast has very limited options Water was not hot in bathroom 2 bedroom villa was open from upstairs that made feel unsafe during night time. Swimming pool is very small and the water was dirty.

- يبعد موقع الفندق عن اسواق ومركز المدينة قد يكون سلبي لدى بعض الناس ولكن لدى الآخرين يعتبر ايجابي خصوصا عند معرفة ان طابع هذا الفندق عبارة عن منتجع يجب ان يكون بعيد عن الضوضاء والازعاج. - ارى ان توفير مساحة للجيم والرياضة في الفندق فكرة ممتازة للنزلاء لقضاء اوقاتهم. - اعتقد ان قيام الفندق العمل على اعداد برامج سياحية حول المنطقة بشكل مجموعات للنزلاء أمر هام وجميل جداً. فهو مكسب مالي للفندق . . ومكسب للنزيل من حيث توفير الوقت والآمان. - بالنسبة لكبار السن او من يعانون صعود السلالم انصحهم الحجز في الفندق على الغرف العادية لقربها من المدخل.

This place is a dream come true. I have always wondered what a villa in Bali would look like, and when I entered the doors of Les Candles, I was left in aw. The layout, deisgn and daily practices of this resort is geared for nature-lovers and eco-friendly tourists. The smallest details reflect their commitment to their environment and these speak louder than an any ad ever could. The staff were exceptional. They rose to greet me as I entered the office and offered me welcome drinks. Then, I saw them do the same for their guests who arrived after. One morning, the receptionsit held the baby of a guest, so that mama could enjoy her breakfast. These are the small acts of kindess and compassion that show how much they care about the comfort of their customers. The young man to taught me how how to fish for tilapia (although he didn't know himself how to do so :)) was hilarious. I absolutely loved spending time with him. The food was also delcious and the head of kitchen ensured we were well-fed nutrious meals. Just 1 km drive away, there are all kinds of stores and services, and the same main road takes you to other wonders such as Wayanad. I highly recommend this resort, for its proximity to busy Calicut (about 30 minutes drive) and its interlace with pure, fresh, unspoiled nature. I will defintely be returning soon.

I recently had a wonderful stay at Le Candles Resort in Kozhikode. The resort offers a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and natural beauty. Nestled amidst serene surroundings, it provides a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-furnished, offering beautiful views and modern amenities. The staff was exceptionally courteous and attentive, ensuring a pleasant and hassle-free experience throughout the stay. The on-site restaurant served delicious food with different varieties. Whether for a relaxing vacation or a short getaway, Le Candles Resort is an excellent choice in Kozhikode.

We had stayed in the Pond Villa which was a different experience surrounded by nature. Very beautiful resort with good staff service and good food. Beautiful sunsets can be watched from the resort. Resort also offers billiards, cycling and live fishing activities

The breakfast spread was minimal.

Didn't like the natural pond Which needs cleaning

Nature friendly property with great ambience . Very friendly and attentive staffs. Experienced live fishing and they tawa fried and served those fish which was so good.Food is super tasty. Loved spending time with cats,rabbits and ducks.

The rooms need urgent renovation. Maintenance has been pending for a long time.

A serene and tranquil retreat with top-notch amenities and a delightful breakfast spread. Surrounded by nature, it offers a peaceful escape while being conveniently close to NIT Calicut. The entire team is outstanding—from the front office to housekeeping. Special thanks to Rocky, Alae, and Chimmang from the F&B team for their exceptional service. Highly recommended, and I’d definitely stay here again.

Did not get the lakeside/ pond side rooms though I booked for it. There is no water in the pond in summer, so they offered alternative. They should have removed pond side rooms from booking option

Very congested space in room and bathroom. There is a big opening in the bathroom that they mentioned as design. Small insects are coming inside the bathroom. They stopped water in toilets for more than 2hrs due to maintenance without an alternate arrangements.
