De vriendelijke en hartelijke gastheer Kenath. De prachtige tuin, welke een oase van rust was met vogels en 's avonds vuurvliegjes. De superschone kamers, de service (bestellen van maaltijden en het regelen van taxi's) en het heerlijke huisgemaakte Sri Lankaanse eten.

Wir haben hier eine Nacht verbracht und es am Ende fast etwas bereut, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten. Der Garten dieser Unterkunft ist wunderschön und die gesamte Anlage perfekt gepflegt und sehr sauber. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten! Vielen Dank!!

Fiquei neste alojamento na minha última noite no Sri Lanka, depois de vários dias em tour. As fotos, os comentários no Booking e a relação qualidade preço e a proximidade ao aeroporto foram fatores decisivos. São pequenas casas, simples, mas muito confortáveis e agradáveis, inseridas num jardim muito tranquilo. À noite, o dono até nos convidou para ver pirilampos, foi um momento muito especial. O proprietário foi sempre extremamente simpático e atencioso antes e durante a estadia. Tinha reservado jantar, mas como não me sentia bem, teve o cuidado de me arranjar uma refeição simples de arroz cozido. O quarto tinha ar condicionado. Há também piscina, embora não tenha usado. Reservei transfer para o aeroporto que custou 10 dólares.

We were treated so nicely by Kenath! We arrived very early, he arranged the perfect airport pick up and let us relax around the pool and the garden until our room was ready. It is a little oasis in Negombo! We saw some wildlife on the property, in particular beautiful birds. Everything was clean, the rooms have a lot of space and we liked the breakfast. He arranged for a tuk tuk for us to go to the beach and for our transportation to wilpattu. We will certainly come again and can recommend that you come to.

広い敷地にヴィラが点在している。夜はホタルが舞うのが見られました。無料ランドリーや飲料水などサービスも素晴らしかった。部屋もピカピカでメンテナンスもよい。スタッフも日本語が堪能でサービスも丁寧で親切。

宿泊施設自体は完璧。ロケーションがビーチサイドからはやや遠い。空港の方が近い。

Sehr schöne kleine Hotelanlage mit Pool Wir hatten ein eigenes Haus mit 2 großen Betten, Bad und kleinem Eingangsbereich.

夕食のカレーがとにかくめちゃくちゃ美味かった！ 敷地も広く落ち着ける環境。また絶対泊まりたい

女性ひとり旅でも安心して滞在できます！ 居心地の良いコテージをひとり占め！なのですが、ポツンとひとり、なんてことを感じることのなく、心和やかに過ごせました。海外での自転車街散策は心配でしたが、道路は広く、気持ちよく歌いながらスーパーへ行かれました。

Buen hotel para el primer día de llegada a Sri Lanka, está solo a 20 minutos del aeropuerto de Colombo. Buena piscina para un buen baño después de un largo viaje. Alojamiento muy cuidado, muy limpio y con una zona exterior excelente. Aunque llegamos tarde, el manager nos consiguió dos tuk tuk para poder ir al día siguiente al fish market (06.00h).

Desayuno correcto, pero no es el típico desayuno que esperas en Sri Lanka.

Nos encantó la habitación, muy amplia, y los jardines. Está a 15 minutos de la zona turística de Negombo. Es una zona muy tranquila. Tiene una pequeña piscina.

The Mango Tree Japanase guesthouse is an exceptional accomodation in Negombo. Chosen mostly for it's location close to the aiport, it's a property of outstanding beauty that has been maintained with exceptional care. The owner, Kenath is very sweet and will accomodate all your requests, from airport transfers to delicious Sri Lankan dinner (also pizzas for those of you that had enough rice and curry). The property even has a swimming pool you can use! I enjoyed strolling around the property and watching all the animals during my stay. Despite being close to a busy area, you will only hear silence. I'd come back here without hesitation, and I can only recommend this place to everyone else!

Had a really wonderful ending to my trip at Japanese Mango House. I felt immediately welcome due to the warm welcome by the owner. He is a very hospitable and kind person who truly goes above and beyond for his guests. And he is very nice to talk with! The garden is a real oasis of peace, filled with greenery and birds. If I hadn't wanted to do some grocery shopping, I wouldn't even have left the place. The Sri Lankan dinner is delicious, truly with its own authentic twist! The cottage where I stayed was also so very beautiful, very serene, and I slept really well; the beds are comfortable and the temperature stays very stable. And .. no mosquitoes 😀 hope to return someday 🙏🏽

The only concern I had was that I didn't want to make the place messy. It was so tidy and clean 🙏🏽🪷

This is a comfortable, calm oasis in Negombo. We really enjoyed the beautiful gardens and swimming pool. The owner was extremely helpful and kind - as this was our last night in Sri Lanka and we had a few specific requests for places to go and he organised tuk tuks to take us. Great breakfast too.

こちらはゲストハウスと名が付いていますが、プライベートコテージリゾートと個人的に感じています。 お庭がとても素敵、お部屋の清潔さ、ベッドメイキングまで完璧なのです。 出発前には日本人スタッフの方に滞在中の過ごし方や移動方法の相談にのっていただけたことで、スリランカへ女ひとり旅で向かう決心ができました。スタッフの方は旅行会社のように細やかなアドバイスとお手配をいただけるのに、費用はドライバーさんに直接支払う等、仲介手数料など取られない良心的なところもうれしい点でした。(観光客にも現地の観光業の方にもやさしい） 到着して驚いたのは、オーナーが日本語はもちろんのこと、日本人感覚をわかってくださっているので、とても安心して滞在でき、細かな点も相談に乗ってくださいます。5つ星ホテル以上のコンシェルジュです。 宿泊先はつい無難なホテルにしがちですが、チェックイン時しかコミュニケーションのないホテルよりも、こちらはセキュリティーも万全で、敷地内ではとにかくのびのびとリラックスして過ごせます。周囲には学校があったり、オーナーの知人宅等雰囲気の良い住宅地にあります。 オーシャンビューや大パノラマ風景があるわけでもないのに、こんなに惹かれるのは不思議です。次回は観光より、こちらに滞在してリフレッシュすることが目的になりました。

夜はホタル、昼間はオオトカゲもやってくる素敵なお庭です。あえて残念だったのを挙げるのなら、私の滞在中には野生のくじゃくがやってきてくれなかったことくらいでしょうか。日中はきれいな鳥のさえずりがBGMの気持ちの良い滞在でした。

明朗会計だった（USDを当日のレートでスリランカルピーで清算してくれました）。USD、LKRのほかにクレジットカードでの支払いも受け付けてくれるようです。広い敷地にゆったりと家が建てられていてとても寛げました。夜にはほたるも見れました。周りにある家からみても安全そうな地域だと思いました。空港からUberで20分ほどで迷わず到着できました。スタッフの方が親切、部屋も綺麗。よく眠れた。ありがとうございました。

Tuktukが捕まえにくい（Uberからでは捕まらず、自分で交渉する必要があった。Uberよりも割高）。Uberタクシーであればすぐにつかまる。周りにカフェやレストランがないので、TuktukでNgomboの町まで出る必要がある。

Belle décoration pour ce pavillon familial, très soignée. Le jardin est superbe. Nous n'y avons passé qu'une nuit en arrivant tard de l'aéroport qui était d'ailleurs plus loin que ce qu'on pensait. La clim marche très bien par contre dans la SDB c'est étouffant.

Das Zimmer war super ausgestattet und alles sehr sauber. Der Garten, in dem die einzelnen Häuser stehen ist unglaublich schön angelegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

From the moment we landed, Kenath made us feel completely at home. He collected us from the airport, organised everything we needed and made our arrival in Sri Lanka completely stress-free. The food was outstanding, breakfast was delicious and every member of the team was so kind and attentive. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to rest and recharge after a long journey. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our trip.

This is one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka definitely book this place for a relaxing stay.

Wat een prachtige locatie midden in Negombo. Het ligt in een rustige en wat chiquere wijk. De tuin is prachtig en de huisjes waarin je verblijft ook. Het avondeten is geweldig, bestel dit voor 3 PM op de dag zelf. Echt een van de lekkerste rice & curry die we hebben gehad. Het zwembad zit aan de voorkant, dus die zie je niet vanaf je accommodatie. Lekker rustig, wellicht niet altijd handig met kleine kinderen. S avonds de vuurvliegjes bekijken en vooral genieten van dit mooie stukje binnen de drukke stad.

From the moment we walked through the gates it felt like an oasis of calm and tranquility. Mango Japanese guesthouse is a beautiful home to many birds and stunning plants and flowers. The are 8 pretty cottages which are clean,comfortable and cosy. The pool was perfect for a refreshing afternoon swim. Our host made us feel so welcomed and cooked a delicious curry for our dinner. In the darkness of the evening we watched the fire flies dancing then at dawn we awoke to the sounds of the birds singing. It was a magical experience.

自然豊かな敷地内で、いろいろな生き物や植物があり、楽園のような施設です。 洗濯機やレンタサイクルもありました。 夜には蛍が飛んでいました。 オーナーさんの 「以前、蚊を殺すために薬を撒いたら、蛍もいなくなってしまった。だから自然が循環するように、配慮しています」 という言葉が、印象に残りました。 クッキングクラスも手配してもらい、楽しい体験ができました。

Oprecht een heerlijk verblijf als je houdt van de rust. Ideaal om na een lange vlucht even op adem te komen vooraleer aan de ontdekking te beginnen of om even te chillen voor de terugvlucht. Bijzonder hulpvaardige eigenaar, zalige tuin, prima zwembad, ....We hadden onze terugvlucht pas om 7pm en mochten probleemloos de volledige dag blijven

Een groene oase van rust in het chaotische negombo. Prachtige tuin, hele vriendelijke host, heerlijke curry in de avond en ontbijt in de ochtend voor een kleine prijs. We kwamen om 7u in de ochtend aan terwijl onze kamer eigenlijk pas om 14u in te checken was. We mochten echter al om 7u in de kamer (zonder daarvoor bij te betalen) om wat slaap in te halen. Een heerlijk begin van onze reis, we zouden het iedereen aanraden!

Alles een geweldige locatie alles heel schoon veel mooie vogels in de tuin en vuurvliegjes. Hele aardige eigenaar. Top locatie met tuk tuk zit je zo aan het strand.

スタッフの方が日本語が話せる上に、とても丁寧でした。また、空港からホテルまで迎えにきて頂いたり、タクシーの配車アプリの使用方法についても教えてくれたりして、大変助かりました。

部屋も庭もとても綺麗で落ち着いて過ごせます。プールや蛍が飛び交う庭、自転車無料貸し出しなど至れり尽くせりでした。 オーナーさんが日本語を話せるので色んな事を相談できて心強かったです。

特にありません。スーパーや商店のある通りから少し離れていますが、自転車を借りたので特に問題ありませんでした。

L’accueil personnalisé du propriétaire avec ses clients. La propreté des chambres et des lieux. Tout est magnifique. Beaucoup de verdure et d’oiseaux dans ce petit paradis. Excellent « rice et curry «  pour souper.

Le déjeuner n’est pas très varié mais très bon.

Het rustgevende terrein met mooie tuin, de gezellige huisjes, de fijne kamer met goede bedden, de superaardige gastheer die heerlijk kan koken. Superfijn deze oase van rust, zeker na een lange reis. Ik was hier voor de tweede keer en zal hier opnieuw terugkomen mocht ik nog eens in Negombo komen!
