It was very hot while I was there & I found the Air Conditioning difficult to control - room was very cold at times, but the AC was very necessary at night so I was pleased to have it.

Hotel au centre ville à proximité du sanctuaire et des restaurants. Tout se fait à pied. Propre, personnel très gentil.

La mauvaise odeur d'humidité de la moquette à l'accueil et dans les couloirs. Heureusement que les chambres sont épargnées. Le manque de climatisation pendant la période estivale pose problème car il est impossible de dormir la fenêtre ouverte à cause du bruit extérieur et le ventilateur n'est pas très efficace.

The position was good.

The bathroom was small for a triple and the room smelled musty when we arrived.

Excelente ubicación, y la recepcionista Sheila muy amable con excelente don de servicio al cliente.

La mampara de la ducha estaba dañada, el agua se salia por todos lados, utilizamos las toallas para detener el agua, el ventilador dañado y no contaba con aire acondcionado asi como tampoco nevera en la habitación.

Da localidade, muito próxima do santuário.

O pequeno almoço é muito, muito pobre, e a funcionária repôs o pão levando as baguetes na pão, sem luvas nem qualquer cuidado. Além disso, estava uma fruta (laranja) podre na cesta da fruta. O hotel tem um péssimo cheiro no hall de entrada e elevador. Os quartos são pequeníssimos e o chuveiro também, com uma alcatifa de aspeto sujo.

Pas de clim alors que mentionnée dans les propositions. Mais il faut demander spécifiquement par mail à disposer d’une chambre climatisée. Impossibilité d’ouvrir les fenêtres en journée à cause des odeurs du restaurant appartenant au groupe hôtelier.

The room was really tiny for two adults. There was hardly any space to even get into the very tiny corner shower through the sliding doors, let alone be able to turn around in it. There was a loud noise we heard quite often both day and night, which may have been coming from the AC unit, even when we had it switched off. We had to wait ages for the lift, especially in the morning when the housekeeping seemed to spend ages using it, so we ended up carrying very heavy luggage up and down the stairs due to the long wait which wasn’t great.

Fui en junio de 2026 con mi madre que es de la tercera edad. La ubicación es perfecta, porque es tan cerca del Santuario que no teníamos que caminar mucho. El personal, increíble, las chicas de recepción nos ayudaron en todo, se portaron muy amables. Llegamos en unos días de mucho calor, y nos cambiaron a una habitación con aire acondicionado sin ningún costo adicional, y eso nos salvó la vida! El desayuno espectacular, si eres de los que necesita un buen desayuno con huevos, pan, bollería dulce y salada, café, yogurth, fruta, zumo, todo hay. Lo recomiendo tomarlo. Las habitaciones son dignas de un hotel 3 estrellas, nada de lujo y de tamaño regular, pero están perfectas para la estadía y muy limpias Si regreso a Lourdes algún día, seguro será al Hotel Continental.

There was a very nice gentleman on reception duty on friday night who helped us with a major problem.

Our big problem was the shower it was not only very outdated the door seals were extremley bad, when using the shower the floor got flooded therefore it was not suitable to use.. On arrival there was an elderly lady who I later found out was Italian was wandering around the 1st floor as I was heading to the room with my bags. She was trying all the door and asking me questions I did not understand when we opened the door to our room she walked in behind us, I had to bring down to reception and ask the reptionist to find out who she was unfortunatley the receptionist could not help there was no one else to help and I was concerned the lady was confused and would end up getting lost.I left the hotel with the lady to try and find someone who could communitate with her ,eventually a young women in the jewllery shop next door said she is Italian I ask her for her name and we went back into the hotel. I asked the receptionist to check register to see if the ladies name was on it she said it was and that her room was on the 3rd floor I asked her for a pass key to let the lady in to her room. I brought her up to the 3rd floor showed her how use the pass key and let her in. On the way down the stairs there was a lady housekeeper with some english I asked to look out for the elderly lady as I was concerned for her.☹️

Very friendly staff. Rooms are ok. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom also comfortable. I would recommend to remove the carpet. It is old and it gives a very old fashion and dirty look while the room is actually good and clean. Air conditioning was perfect. Breakfast a bit too basic, but ok. Location is perfect. Price: good value.

La struttura si trova in ottima posizione vicino a tutti i servizi e vicinissimo alla grotta che si raggiunge in soli 3 minuti a piedi. Letti comodissimi e personale molto gentile e disponibile.

Il bagno un po piccolo, dotato di vasca e non di doccia.

Posizione perfetta per il Santuario,si raggiunge tutto a piedi. Negozi e ristoranti presenti in tutta la via. La nostra camera piccola ,ma accogliente e pulita. Per nostra scelta senza aria condizionata e letti separati.

I have stayed at Hotel Continental several times over the years and it never disappoints. It is good value for money, the hotel is spotlessly clean, very close to the sanctuary and with several shops, including restaurants and take-out venues, nearby. It has a welcoming feel to it and lovely, helpful staff. They changed my room since there was availability without any fuss when I found that the original room had a bath and I have problems getting in and out of one (admittedly, this was my fault as I should have stated so during the reservation, but I'd never had a room with a bath before and I assumed all rooms had showers). I was informed that the fourth floor was all recently fitted with air conditioning, which is not a common feature in Lourdes hotels as far as I can remember. Even though I had a room partially overlooking a busy street, the double-glazing did its work and the noise didn't disturb me at all. The buffet breakfast is also very good for a three star hotel. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lourdes.

We have stayed at the Continental for several years now. It is a quiet and clean hotel, perfectly located in the centre of Lourdes. Very nice staff indeed.

Le personnel est très accueillant, l'hôtel est super bien situé. Je trouve que le rapport qualité prix est cohérent ! Un grand merci je reviendrai avec plaisir. Merci au personnel qui m'a aidé à organiser mon voyage, c'était ma première à Lourdes, et j'ai été bien aidé !

Nothing really. In Lourdes people don’t or rather shouldn’t look for luxury, rather a clean room to get a good nights sleep. That’s exactly what you can expect staying at this hotel.

Très contente de l'accueil et résolution de ce que j'ai demandé, je le recommande. Prix très abordable et bon emplacement.

La réceptionniste Sheyla est vraiment adorable, très serviable et agréable ! L’autre réceptionniste (le Monsieur) l’est également ! L’emplacement est parfait, treeees proche de l’entrée du sanctuaire. Au milieu des boutiques. Parking à 22€00 / 24h à proximité (pensez à réserver et pour vérifier par rapport à la taille de votre véhicule car l’accès au parking est très exiguë ). Si vous arrivez avant que la chambre ne soit prête, possibilité de déposer pour ses temps les bagages avant d’aller déposer la voiture (ce qui permet de ne pas porter les affaires lourdes). On peut se garer en warning juste en face de l’hôtel le temps de décharger et d’aller à la réception. Il y avait une voiture de police qui circulait, j’ai demandé afin de ne pas être verbaliser , ils ont dit que c’est ok car pour une très courte durée. Il y a un même un billard accessible gratuitement dans le hall. Bref ! C’était parfait !!!

La baignoire même-ci c'était super propre. Un petit frigo dans la chambre ça sera bien.

La proximité aux sanctuaires est très pratique et aussi les boutiques et restaurants proches.

J'ai trouvé plusieurs tâches sur le mur,et les lunettes qui pourraient être changées car esquinter. Sinon dans l'ensemble ça va.
