Reviewed Aug 21, 2026On the outside it’s beautiful but the people inside are rude and not friendly at all I was required to pay 1500 for taking pictures with my photographer and I was told it’s not my property of course it’s not but how do I pay for taking pictures an amount higher than what I paid to book
After I asked for cancellation the lady said it’s impossible so my child could not take pictures for her MD we had to find an alternative, The receptionist working on the 20/08/20226 was not welcoming at all from the moment she saw us maybe if I was of another race it would have been better

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Bed was amazing. Bedding was amazing. After a long day of driving the comfort of just resting was the best feeling. Shower and bathroom was absolutely top notch! And super clean!
Small suggestions would make this so much better. Needs a mat on the side of the bed as it's winter and stepping onto cold tiles is not the best. Needs an accessible plug point to charge your phone on the side table. Needs a smart TV. And an aircon would be great.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026Wir haben uns sicher gefühlt, der Innenhof mit Pool gefällt uns von der Anordnung. Ideal als Zwischenstopp von Johannesburg zum Kruger Nationalpark
Der Empfang war leider etwas unfreundlich. Außerdem wurden wir am Vorabend beim Wunsch nach einem vegetarischen Frühstücks sehr komisch angeschaut und mussten auch mehrmals bestätigen, dass wir sicher kein Fleisch wollen (obwohl das dann beim Frühstück selbst alles hervorragend funktionierte). Andere Gäste schauten leider abends sehr laute Videos auf deren Terrassen.

Reviewed May 26, 2026My booking was paid, confirmed, and never officially cancelled. Shortly before dark, I received a message through the booking chat saying there had been an error and that the manager could not accommodate my reservation. This was communicated far too late, especially in South Africa, where finding alternative accommodation after dark can be difficult and stressful. I went to the property in person, as otherwise it felt like my case would not have been handled properly. The first alternative offered was of a considerably lower standard than the accommodation I had booked. Only after I insisted was another option arranged. The overall handling was unprofessional, unkind, and very disappointing. I would strongly caution tourists and other visitors against choosing this accommodation.

The beds were way too high for even an average height person. I had extreme problems getting onto the bed. Luckily they found a step for me otherwise I dont know how I would have gotten onto the bed, The mirror in the bathroom and the caddy were way too high to be usable.

Am besten nicht zu Abend Essen in der Unterkunft. Man hat geschmeckt das es wieder aufgewärmt war und leider ging es mir am nächsten Tag sehr schlecht. Es war eine leichte Lebensmittelvergiftung.. Also zum Schlafen ist es top. Abendessen/Frühstück nicht empfehlenswert. Wir habrn in Südafrika immer super gegessen außer in dieser Unterkunft und dann gleich mit schlechten Folgen

Das ganze Gästehaus ist kalt. Nicht nur, dass es in den Zimmern keine Heizung/Klimaanlage gibt und es eiskalt in den Zimmern ist, sondern die ganze Athmosphäre hat nichts mit einem Gästehaus zu tun. Hier fehlt die Wärme und Herzlichkeit. Wir hatten ein Abendessen dazu gebucht, welches wirklich ekelhaft war - es kam aus der Mikrowelle. Auch das Frühstück war minimalistisch. Noch nicht einmal ein Filterkaffee wurde angesetzt, obwohl eine Kaffeemaschine vorhanden war. Auch auf unsere Reklamation wurde nicht eingegangen. Dies war eine von unseren 10 Unterkünften in Südafrika und auch die einzige Unterkunft, welche wir nicht weiterempfehlen können. Die positiven Bewertungen können nur Fake sein.

Parking with a camper van was a bit tight, but we managed. The room was cold and we could have used another blanket.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2025The service is top-notch! The host called and sent us a location of the residence prior to coming, and she always had a smile and was oh so welcoming! As we were there for business, she would pack us breakfast packs if we were running late and would personally knock to ask if we would like them. The rooms were kept clean, and having a fridge and microwave in the room was a plus. The water in the shower was piping hot and the electric blankets made up for no heating/AC.
We went during winter and the room didn't have any heaters or air-conditioning.
