We were there for 2 days and I thought someone would come to empty the dirt bin and I had to ask for someone to empty the ash out of the Webber but that's not a big deal however its the only thing I didn't like

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026The location is great. There are lots of places to explore in the area. The studio apartment is spacious and the view of the lake and the mountains directly from your room is amazing. I liked that we could paddle on the lake and braai in the Weber.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026- the place was a great base for the 3 nights we’ve spent in Cape Town - All the amenities you need + you can borrow the sea kayaks to enjoy the marina, which was really nice - very good bed + fast and strong WiFi - very close to the excellent Silvermine rock climbing area - very pleasant surfer vibe at the nearby beach - Tsholo was very helpful in pointing out some of the local places (e.g., blue bird garage food court/ market was excellent

Fellow patriots were the ones who opened and called the contact number, which was answered. It was such a strange and unprofessional experience. I had a two-year-old with me that time.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026Location is perfect, absolutely gorgeous views of the Marina and mountains. Friendly staff. Overall cleanliness was good. Coffee facilities as well as place to cook your own food if you want.
The sheets on the bed was not put on properly, looked like it was done last minute. The walls in the bathroom, especially in the shower was dirty, brownish marks on them, which came off when wiped with a wet wipe. Some noise from the rooms next door (loud talking) in to the late night.

Einige Einrichtungsgegenstände hätte den Aufenthalt noch besser gemacht: Handtuchhalter im Bad, Ablagefläche im Bad oder Haken für den Kulturbeutel, Kofferständer, Haken an den Wänden, mehr Kücheneinrichtungsgegenstände wie z.B. ein Flaschen - und ein Weinöffner. Keine Klimaanlage. Man kann nachts nicht mit offener Türe schlafen und aus Sicherheitsgründen kann man nur ein kleines Fenster öffnen, das reicht bei Hitze nicht aus. Die Nähe der Wohnanlage zu problematischen Wohnvierteln und des großen Townships: Nachts sollte man dort mit Auto als Tourist nicht unbedingt herumfahren und herumlaufen erst recht nicht.

The bathroom was pretty basic with quite a dangerous sharp corner to the shower cubicle that kept catching our bare feet on.

Reviewed Feb 12, 2026Wer nicht in der City von Kapstadt übernachten möchte und die Nähe zum Ozean und dem wunderbaren Strand von Muizenberg vorzieht, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Gegend rund um Marina Views ist sicher und sehr gut zu erreichen.
Da fällt mir spontan eigentlich nichts ein.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Asked for check in the room at 7-8pm, the host said ok at first, but then told us it was not ok at last minute (about 6:30pm) which that time their staffs have already left at 5pm, we could not check in and they have no solution to it at all, also no refund and we had to book another hotel that night. I understand the site has written check in before 5pm but they told us it was ok to check in later through whatsapp, so we believed that. They should have told us earlier it was not ok, so we could change our plan to get the keys first.
