The location is wonderful. Short distance walks to the beach, restaurants and shopping centre's. Not quiet in the sense that there's no noise but enough that the walks feel safe. Close to the main road for easy access to the rest of the town. Wonderful staff and facilities, enjoyed the concept of an honesty bar/fridge.

The apartment itself needed a bit more thorough cleaning. There was layers of dust on the blinds, the headboard and several other places. The fleece blanket had crusted food on it. It also needed a more thorough stock in terms of kitchen utensils. The shower curtain did not allow privacy and let out more water onto bathroom floor. And the cold water tap in the shower does not work well when the hot water reaches temp.

The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were amazing with very comfortable beds.

Tout ! La guest house est située dans un joli quartier à 5 min du front de mer et des cabanes colorées. La résidence est très belle et très confortable. Elle dispose d'un petit parking sécurisé. Nous avions pris la suite 1 lit double et 2 lits simples. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. La literie est très bonne, les espaces communs (notamment l'espace petit déjeuner) très agréables. Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion d'utiliser la piscine car le mois d'août rime avec hiver et ce jour là le vent était glacial. Et comment ne pas souligner la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel et d'Asemahle en particulier qui nous a accueilli à notre arrivée et qui nous a donné plein de conseils sur nos itinéraires, les restaurants, la météo... Bref, adorable :) Allez y sans hésiter !

The location is perfect. Walking distance from the restaurants, market and beach. Spacious and clean rooms. Breakfast was delicious and the staff helpful and friendly. Also, more than enough and safe parking inside the premises.

Checking window of just 3 hours (14 - 17pm) and outside it they try to charge you... We had to rush our visit to boulders beach because of this...

The staff member at reception (Thomas?)was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very good and the location was very convenient: we were walking distance from the main beach, shops, restaurants and a local evening market. I will definitely stay there again

The staff were very helpful, tending to all our needs with a smile. We felt very welcome there! The house itself is beautiful and within walking distance from the beach, a local market and shops. The beds were comfortable, the linen and towels were very good quality and we had a lovely breakfast

They were busy with maintenance of the pool area when we arrived so it was a bit noisy for about 2 hours, but then it stopped and the rest of the weekend was very quiet and peaceful.

Cerca del pueblo y en zona segura y tranquila. A 5 minutos andando a la playa surfera Habitación grande con 2 camas King size muy cómodas. Parking dentro del establecimiento. Desayuno incluido.

Habitaciones muy frias.. Poco confortables. El Check-ing es muy corto. De 2 a 5 de la tarde. Sino, te cobran más por el check late Hay poca luz en la habitación y el baño. Se está en penumbra. No hay enchufes en el WC. Y no se puede usar el secador en el baño.

Staff is so friendly and helpful! Parking behind close gates, great! The Place Muizenberg is very centrally situated. So in a short drive, we could go to cape town waterfront, chapmans peak, Houtbaai, fishoek, boulders beach, simonstown and much more!

We cannot think of one thing we did not like.

Das Personal war super freundlich und das Frühstück seh lecker. Die Einrichtung im Zimmer war geschmackvoll.

The night staff was very friendly and helped us to settle in. The breakfast was prepack for us to take away as we had to leave very early and that on it's own was very nicely packed.

Très bel maison ancienne décorée avec goût ! Chambre spacieuse, confortable et bien aménagée.

Il faisait un peu froid dans les chambres et l'isolation acoustique de la chambre en RDC avec le passage est légèrement gênante.

Fantastic! This former mansion has been repurposed into a lovely hotel. Each room is unique, amenities are fantastic, clean, comfortable, and the location can’t be beat. Breakfast daily is superb with a selection of fruits, breads, cereals, and yogurt - AND made to order eggs and sides. The staff is delightful! We stayed a week and were sad to leave!

My wife and I were made very welcome and looked after extremely well by Thomas.

I have no complains

We stayed where with our two children while we moved house. Our own house was full of stuff and as it was Easter holidays, we thought we’d stay somewhere the girls had access to the beach while we set it up. It was a really close to walk to Surfer’s corner and other restaurants. The staff were absolutely amazing. I actually cannot stress how amazing the staff were, they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We had to send a friend to check in and drop our girls off(they’re 15, so older) and they didn’t mind her hanging around with her kids till we got back from packing up our house much later in the evening. Other guests were really friendly and also mentioned how lovely the staff were. The room we stayed in (King) was enormous, which was great to separate our surfing stuff from normal clothes. And you can wash your clothes on site to R50 a go, which was also great for us. We booked for 4 nights and I think we ended up paying extra and staying 7 nights, even though our new house was ready by that point!

People are allowed to smoke outside by the pool area, sometimes the smell travels.

The buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff and Assi was very friendly and welcoming.

Just the bed was to high so a stepping stool would've help and shower curtain a bit to long.

Gute Lage! Gutes und reichliches Frühstück! Super freundliche Menschen! Die kleine ecke mit Getränken und Kühlschrank ist toll. Wir haben uns dort sehr sicher gefühlt

Leider ist uns eine große Kakerlake ins Zimmer gelaufen abends. Das ganze Haus ist sehr hellhörig. Das Brot war leider an unserem 4t Tag so hart/trocken dass es nicht essbar war.

Was lovely as usual. But rather book upstairs units The downstairs one you can hear noise from units above But will definitely be back This was our 3rd stay

Very stylish refurbished boutique lodge with the pool and smart layout for networking! Big windows, glassy eating zone around. Stayed in Ace room with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. Had a place to park the car as well!The place is perfect for surfers and free-lancers. Qquipped self-catering kitchen for guests to cook. 7 mins walk to famous colorful beach huts.

De kamers waren heel ruim en ook konden wij gebruik maken van de braai. Verder was de service top en was ook het ontbijt goed verzorgd.

Het kraakte wel een beetje als je ging slapen, maar dat was niet tot overlast.

Location of the guest house is very good, close to restaurants, False Bay train station and the food market which is open on Thursday and Friday nights. Free onsite parking is available. Room was very spacious. Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool well maintained. Can definitely recommend The Place.

Bathroom was a little bit cramped but all we needed was there and in good working order.

The woman staff at the property were very friendly and helpful. The location was good.

The property is in need of a complete update. Pictures on the website look much better then in reality. The pool area smells of sewage. Our bathroom shower smelt of mildew and our toilet pipe was leaking.

The facility was easy to find. It is Private. Has great mountain views. Very hospitable staff. Breakfast was good. location was good with safe parking, less than 5 min walk to the beach, variety of restaurants on the beach where one can select from, beautiful mountains nearby with less than 10minutes walk to the hiking area. Honesty bar available in the facility, nice resting place at the pool area. beautiful and clean pool towels, there are also beautiful pool chairs for relaxation. Thanks for considering clients who are lactose intolerant (the almond milk at breakfast)

it would be good if they can place complementary water bottles in the fridge that is in the room. when we arrived it was a very hot day, cold water from the fridge in the room would have helped or a welcome drink at reception. A Greek yoghurt please at breakfast.
