Reviewed Aug 14, 2026La vue exceptionnelle sur le port . Très grande chambre, lit très confortable . Belle salle d’eau. Très bon restaurant juste en dessous chez « saveur ». Il n’y avait plus de place au parking , la réceptionniste nous a donné un ticket pour prendre en charge le parking d’à côté .
Lorsque nous sommes arrivés nous avons été accueillie par un gardien avachi sur le fauteuil à l’entrée jouant sur son portable . Au petit déjeuner les serveuses n’étaient pas très agréables .

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026The facilities were lovely, the hosts were attentive and responsive, the setting was absolutely charming, the food was delicious. the access to Muizenberg was perfect. The location had some stunning views and the setting on the canals was lovely.
Our room was right next to a sitting lounge and the access to the boat dock and braai area. You can hear quite a lot in the evenings when people socialize. The curtains in the widows looking into the central pool area were somewhat transparent so it felt a bit exposed.

Reviewed Jun 4, 2026Richard and Marissa were fantastic hosts. Warm, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The B&B itself is set right by a lake, and the property is absolutely gorgeous. As a lovely surprise, they kindly upgraded our room, which meant we woke up to an even better view in the morning. Breakfast was another highlight. Marissa's homemade spread was excellent, and the croissants were so good they may have ruined all future croissants for me. Flaky, buttery, and dangerously addictive. If you're looking for a beautiful lakeside stay with hosts who genuinely care about their guests, this is the place. Just be prepared to become very picky about croissants afterwards!

The staff are friendly and welcoming as well as the hosts who are also very accommodating, I even told Richard I'll definitely be back in the summer as the weather wasn't too great but still worth every penny, and let's not forget the amazing breakfast 😁

Reviewed Apr 27, 2026Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the "Boat House", which was a beautiful room with direct access to the patio over the water. Absolutely stunning scenery, with lots of birds flying by. The four nights we stayed here offered peace, calm and an opportunity to recharge our batteries. The breakfast we had included was delicious, and the shared spaces were very comfortable. A special thank you to our wonderful host Richard, who checked in with us every day. He helped recommend activities for us, gave us tips on events in the area and made sure we always had everything we needed. We only met his wife Marisa briefly a few times, but she was absolutely lovely as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026This is one of those hidden gems that every traveller should look for. The most peaceful and gorgeous setting on the edge of the water. A kayak and pedalboat available for guests. Lovely setting, and a treat to sit out at night on the edge of the water and watch the reflections in the water. A hearty breakfast for an extra fee. Peaceful music in the communal spaces, great seating and places to relax. My room was up a steep staircase which meant my view of the mountain was great. The owners and staff were friendly and couldn't be more attentive. Highly recommended for a stop in Cape Town. I hope to be back. Especially with such easy access (by car) to the sunrise at Surfer's Corner, Muizenberg.
I liked the view from my room and the Crow's Nest view - just a warning for those with mobility issues to ask for one of the rooms on ground floor.

vertical material blinds that were damaged and not closing well = lacking privacy from pool/common area and no darkness for sleeping. Paddle boat out for maintenance and the deck was having maintenance done on a weekend.

The layout of the house around the courtyard is great, with fabulous mid century vibes, and some lovely shared spaces at the water side to enjoy the views and wildlife. Super friendly and helpful hosts, Richard was so welcoming and gave great recommendations and travel advice. Amazing breakfast, with lots of choice. We really loved it here and were all so sad to have only a one night stay. We hope to return someday!

Reviewed Feb 9, 2026One of the best hidden gems in Cape Town. The location is set between the mountains of Muizenberg and set in the middle of the river bank. We got to be in a clam space. As a writer, I would go back here as the place draws inspiration from the serene views. The rooms were comfortable and cozy. The hosts were warm and friendly and accommodative. We had a beautiful time here. My favorite part was paddling around the riverbank in looking at those scenic mountain views.
My stay was too short.

Das Haus ist wunderschön mit vielen Möglichkeiten sich frei zu bewegen und einen wunderschönen Aussenbereich. Wir haben uns dort als Familie sehr wohl gefühlt.
