Reviewed Sep 16, 2025The hotel may seem dated, but the rooms were fantastic. Bed was comfy with 4 pillows. And did I mention the rooms are huge? It was easily 50m2 and the shower was fantastic. Good pressure with good heat. Staff at front desk was very polite and helpful at all times. There’s round the clock security at the lifts and they’ll even help you if you have many items.
The location is far from any tourist attractions besides the SM Mall that is about 5-7 mins walk from the hotel. You’ll need to travel by taxi about 15mins to any attractions or Metro which is about 5 mins walk. The surrounding area & shops are abit too local to manage if you’re not a mandarin speaker. As for the breakfast spread, wasn’t 5 star but decent enough for a hearty breakfast.

Reviewed Jul 27, 2025The staff went out of their way to help me out when my Wechatpay wasn't working, helped me pay for my taxi and let me pay them back in cash later. I'm truly thankful. Also, the room was nice.
The drain in the bathtub didn't fully close, so this ought to be looked at.

Reviewed Mar 30, 2025First time to stay here. Check in was quick and smooth. The front of house staff were all helpful. They smiled and established eye contact. The room appears a bit dated, from an amenity and setup point it ticks all the boxes. It's functional. The staff at the Hotel Lobby Bar was friendly and helpful. The lady who served the food was extremely kind and went out of her way with simple, small steps to go above and beyond. This is what great service is all about. Even though this was a very short stay, I will definitely return again next time.

Reviewed Sep 20, 2023Location, cleanness, and staff are very good. Near to Metro Station (Wushipu station) and a very big and nice shopping mall, including most of the good brands, local/international food, and even a branch of Walmart. Close to airport and south railway station. The English level of staff is much higher than most hotels, and they are welcome and supportive. The beds are comfortable and acceptable breakfast (even a few non-chinees items but in good taste and quality).

Reviewed Aug 28, 2023The position is quite good, but the facility and credibility not match the stars rate.
The upgraded superior room is a ironic joke! The hotel reception told that the rooms are not ready, even I was checking in late 15hrs, eventually, the superior room became a corner room with very limited space.

Reviewed May 29, 2023A 10 minute walk from Lucuo metro station at the red and green lines, staff were efficient and nice, getting the job done, and helpful when asked. The hotel is overall very well-maintained with my room being clean, large with a king bed, a reasonably-sized desk, and a huge bathroom with both shower and tub. I couldn't hear my neighbours and the corridor noise didn't seep into my room. An overall very comfortable stay on a redemption and I'll pick this place again the next time I'm in town. The taxi ride to the airport (T3) was only 24 RMB and took 15 minutes in a little traffic at first but smooth 75% of the way.

Reviewed Mar 14, 2023The location of the Xiamen Sheraton Hotel is extremely convenient, making it an excellent choice for travelers. During check-in, the front desk staff members were professional and friendly, making the process quick and easy. Although the hotel is not newly renovated, the rooms are well-maintained and clean with all facilities in good working order. The Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed is incredibly comfortable, providing a good night's sleep for guests. The hotel provides exceptional treatment for Marriott elite members, making them feel valued and appreciated. The breakfast service is also outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff providing excellent service. Guests can even enjoy freshly made spring rolls, which are delicious and highly recommended. Overall, I highly recommend staying at the Xiamen Sheraton Hotel. The convenient location, well-maintained rooms, comfortable Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed, exceptional treatment for elite members, and outstanding breakfast service make it an excellent choice for travelers.

Reviewed Nov 29, 2020First of all, it’s first time that I found a hotel with CrossFit area (outdoor) in fitness room. Wellness place is very well equipped. Swimming pool is quite small but can swim straight. Rooms are strangely organized with big areas for corridors, bedroom can get more space. I don’t know age of this hotel but it missing USB sockets to connect smartphones and tablets. Location is close to airport 20min and consider 30-40 minutes to city center by taxi.
