Waldorf Astoria Xiamen

Beautifully decorated hotel - art deco - the staff was wonderful and the restaurants were great

Nothing all was perfect

Restaurants-food and variety

A lot of the staff seemed to be new or not sure what they were doing. Was missing some soul and coziness-decorating in rooms was very minimal and sparse.

The overall services were good. Breakfast was delicious. Room was really comfortable and considered clean.

The breakfast especially the pastries baked fresh every morning.

Without a doubt the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Exceptional staff, especially our wonderful concierge Wendy. A beautiful hotel with beautiful furnishings and decor. Absolutely fantastic bathroom amenities, especially the large bath tub and Japanese toilet.

The only improvement I would suggest is that the cocktails could be better. As a former bartender for eight years I’m very particular about my drinks and I wasn’t super impressed with the drinks, but the selection was great.

Nice and clean

Services and facilities

Good location. Perfect ambience and facilities. Excellent gym.

Personnel très disponible. Hôtel très bien placé. Très belle chambre.

Rien.

Tub drain did not work properly. Otherwise outstanding.

Einrichtung ok. Frühstück sehr gut

Ausstattung, Dekoration, Innenausstattung, Restaurants

WLAN/WIFI schlecht, kein VPN möglich (geht in anderen Hotels...) Beleuchtung und Steuerung im Zimmer schlecht. Bett unbequem

Staff is very kind , some of them speak some English, but all of them are very helpful.

More staff member should talk English. This made several cases difficult to get that best service they can provide.

Everything is good

The hotel is superb. Few days before check in, housekeeper Wendy emailed to ask if I am celebrating any events. I just replied casually that it’s our wedding anniversary and viola! At check in, there was a bouquet of roses n balloons in the room. V pleasant experience.

Room is a bit dark.

I love the design of the hotel especially the golden fish pond. The room is very clean and bed is comfortable. Comparing with the other similar price hotels, this one is the best of all. Me and my family enjoyed the stay. The staff is very friendly and provide high standards service.

Excellent breakfast, amenities, staff professionalism, and room quality

Freaking amazing hotel. Out of the world experience. Service was top notch from a tall hot butler welcoming us at the door and helping with bags, to the ever friendly receptionists, to amazing house keeping staff who kept our rooms clean every day, to breakfast room staff… everything was perfect! This stay is nothing short of amazing and every staff went above and beyond in all areas. The rooms were another level.. clean, tastefully furnished and thoughtfully replenished day by day… they took care of my family, including my aged grandma, so well the entire stay. No request is ever too much or too hard. It will definitely be my top choice hotel for future stays and I can’t recommend it enough

Staff are friendly, professional, in the downtown

I wish staff can speak better English, im not saying they don’t but some of them need to learn English

Luxury...detail of craftmanship..spacy room..elegance designed ..selected marble quality..very good artworks especially anish kapoor works...very good breakfast..late check out allowance...and many more

The hotel and staff were great! I highly recommend staying here!

There was nothing during my stay that I disliked

Exquisite decor, modern art deco with highest quality materials and stunning attention to detail. Staff were broadly exceptional and the breakfast offering was sumptuous. Bed was so comfortable and the room was lovely with absolute black out blinds and gorgeous marble bathroom and Japanese toilets.

Very small criticisms and not in any way diminishing the experience - the bathtub is too circular and large and too daunting to fill, while occupying too much space in the bathroom. The fruit selection at breakfast could be broader.

Breakfast is very good and lots of options to choose.

Wonderful

Room is very nice

Staying at the Waldorf Astoria was truly exceptional. From the moment We arrived, we was welcomed with impeccable service, elegant surroundings, and a level of luxury that exceeded all expectations. The rooms were beautifully designed, spacious, and offered breathtaking views. Every detail from the plush bedding to the world-class dining was flawless. It was more than just a stay,it was an unforgettable experience of comfort and sophistication.

Service was extremely good, food was amazing, and the hotel was beautiful

The staff are very friendly and professional, helpful. The room service lady is amazing…

Spacious room. Good Chinese movie selection

Fast laundry service and good in room dinning (burgers). I did give it 4 stars for service because they made me take my luggage to my room because he was alone and I arrived at 1 am.

It has good room layout, quiet and nice comfortable beds.

Excellent hotel

Locates in central Xiamen. Great facilities, furnitures and room amenities. Breakfast offers both Chinese and continental dishes, quite good.

Staff are excellent, clean and very comfortable. One of the best hotels in the world.

Great location

Good

Best room I had ever encountered in 5 star hotels.

Breakfast spread was good but quality of service and coffee not quote up to scratch.

Everything, but the size and appointment of the room are the most commendable!

The quality of the breakfast spread and service. Good spread but somehow the quality is not befitting of the hotel's pedigree. For example the coffee was inconsistent and lacking in taste. The service staff often forget our orders.

the friendliness and professionialism of all the staff. the cleanliness of rooms after housekeepers had cleaned the room. how clean the entire hotel was.

the breakfast didnt seem to have that much variety. i was expecting alot more from a 5 star hotel. it felt like slim pickings rather then having a hundred different choices.

my gf need to drink oat milk , they didnt have, quite strange cause now is almost everywhere

i expected the staff to be more comfortable with English language but more then one members had troubles with English and for an hotel of this rank, that was not a pleasure. But one thing need to tell you: i had a room at 37 floor, amazing view , two big windows in front of my bed. Well, i was really disappointed that everytime i came back to the room, after i left the curtain completely open , the staff there pull down the curtain, not once, every time. How is it possible that they didnt understand that the best part

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent service!

Beautiful property, very well appointed. No details missed.

perfect

Cleanliness very good Room is very nice the best in xiamen city and restaurant copy shop very good Quality maintenance food delicious.

Entire hotel excellent
