- beim Restaurant passt abends Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht- freundlicher Service, aber durchschnittliches Essen zu überhöhten Preisen

A poor breakfast consisting only of cold or stale snacks. Apparently, they don’t realise that it’s possible to keep omelettes or bacon warm using special warming trays. A coffee machine that doesn’t serve Corto, and all for 20 euros! In reality, a genuine 3-star hotel at a 5-star price. The room we stayed in was decorated in dark colours, with completely inadequate lighting. The design dates back to the 1990s and no improvements have been made over the years.

La puerta del baño es transparente, no cierra y eso es incómodo. Por la noche, si abres la luz para ir al servicio, deslumbra toda la habitación. Además de la incomodidad de no tener intimidad. Creo que un hotel de 5* no puede tener una puerta así

Beds were old and uncomfortable. No coffee in the bedrooms, unusual even for a 4 star hotel now a days. The rooms could use an upgrade.

Una noche decidimos cenar en el jardín después de una excursión. Pedimos algo ligero y la verdad fue una gran decepción, pedimos jamón ibérico q no estaba recién cortado ni era de calidad para el precio que tenia y ensalada de tomate de temporada que llevaba 4 trozos pequeños y todo lo demás lechuga.Además habia una familia cenando con 5 niños y no pararon de correr y gritar junto a nuestra mesa lo que rompía totalmente el ambiente del jardín.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Excellent location, within walking distance of the historic centre. The hotel is set in a beautiful old manor building with a lovely garden, which gives it a special atmosphere. The interior design and decor are interesting and elegant, and the property itself has a lot of character.
Unfortunately, the service does not correspond to a five-star hotel. On arrival, no one offered to help with the luggage. At reception, there was only one staff member, and there was almost no communication about the hotel facilities, breakfast, restaurant, or any spa or wellness services. They simply took our passports, gave us the keys, and that was all. The breakfast was also very disappointing. The selection was limited, and all the hot food, including eggs and sausages, was already cold. Guests had to serve themselves, including pouring their own coffee. Overall, the level of service and breakfast quality was far below what we would expect from a five-star property

EN EL BAÑO LA ENCIMERA DE LOS LAVABOS SUCIA Y UNOS PELOS EN EL PLATO DE DUCHA. AL IR A CENAR SE LO COMENTE EN RECEPCION Y QUE IBAN DE INMEDIATO. POR LA NOCHE AL IRME A DUCHAR SEGUIAN ALLI. EN UN HOTEL DE 5 ESTRELLAS NO SE PUEDEN DAR ESTAS SITUACIONES. ENTIENDO UN FALLO EN LA LIMPIEZA PERO TRAS COMUNICARLO NO SOLUCIONARLO DE INMEDIATO NO ME ENTRA EN LA CABEZA. Reviewed Jun 20, 2026Dobra lokalizacja blisko katedry i centrum. Rozległy ogród. Cicho i zielono, można miło spędzić wieczór w hotelowym ogródku przy barze/restauracji w przypadku zmęczenia gwarem starówki.
Wszystko jest godne pochwały i nie wymaga kompromisów. Przynależność do sieci zobowiązuje i w tym przypadku obiekt wypełnia te zobowiązania. Oczywiście ma to swoją cenę, ale warto.

The setting, the grounds, the meals, especially the staff all work together to ensure your stay is most comfortable, memorable and enjoyable. Although it is tucked away in a quiet enclave in the city, it is a short walk to fabulous restaurants, views of the cathedral, lovely parks and the sights and sounds of this great city.
For a five star hotel, the room was small, but given the building’s history, it makes sense. Would have been nice to have a kettle or nespresso in the room, but then the invitation to take tea in the garden was a better option!

the sofa bed for the additional room, the pillow was horrible. I ended up folding a towel that I use as pillow. the pillow was hard and huge. I woke up with a bit of a headache. I know I could have called to get another one. but for this quality of hotel I thought it shouldn't happen

Personal super atento y amable, Muy predispuestos a orientar a los visitantes. Muy buena predispocisión del personal para cambiarnos de habitación a pesar de estar bastante completos. Muy cuidadosos con los detalles y la satisfacción del cliente.
La puerta de los baños son de vidrio translucidas corredizas y en las habitaciones superiores dan directamente sobre el costado de la cama. no son herméticas y la luz del baño ilumina fuertemente la habitacion, resultando muy incómodo

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026Værelset var rent og pænt. Morgenmaden var overdådig. Receptionen var hjælpsomme. Placeringen er tæt på byen, men placeret i grønne omgivelser.
Til poolen er der 2 toiletter med et bad. Et til mænd og et til kvinder, men man kan ikke aflåse døren, så man skal klæde om og tage bad, med andre der skal på toilettet. Vandet i poolen kunne godt være varmere.

El personal súper amable. La habitación calentita y confortable, y la cama y almohadas de 10, se duerme genial. Un plus el gimnasio y la piscina climatizada. Muy recomendable, repetiríamos sin dudar.

Reviewed Dec 3, 2025El Palacio del Carmen es el convento de las Oblatas reconvertido con muchísimo gusto y sin extravagancias. La zona adosada al convento, ubica las habitaciones. Mi habitación Twin Deluxe era enorme, con una decoración elegante, una cama más que cómoda y un baño con una ducha gigante. Los armarios son amplios y todo estaba muy bien cuidado, con el plus de dos soportes de maletas de gran calidad y una mesilla con dos sillas tapizadas desde las que se podía ver parte del jardín. La piscina ha sido un plus fantástico. El desayuno, muy completo y con productos de altísima calidad. Resalto en especial el trato del profesional de recepción, Cristóbal, que fue una gran ayuda en el check-in. Gracias, Cristóbal.

Reviewed Nov 9, 2025The bar and restaurant was fantastic! Both Lucille and Hector were both very attentive and lovely! We loved being tucked away but very close to the Cathedral of Saint James where we attended mass 2 of the days we were there.
Nothing negative to say.

Reviewed Oct 19, 2025Muito boa localização, conseguimos estacionar o carro dentro do hotel sem ter de pagar uma taxa extra, entorno lindissimo.
A cama não foi das mais confortáveis onde dormi, o hotel parece um bocado datado... acho que pelo preço esperava outro desempenho.

The grounds and facilities were not utilized enough. No pool dispute a huge garden. The cafe was in the parking space rather than in the lovely garden. Very dissatisfactory.

La habitación era un poco modesta para la categoría del alojamiento, un tanto oscura.

Reviewed Oct 14, 2025Está alejado del centro, en una zona residencial con mucha vegetación, lo que le confiere el ambiente relajado y privado que tiene. Pero a su vez se encuentra a diez minutos andando de la plaza del Obradoiro, haciendo posible llegar andando y olvidarse del vehículo propio. Las instalaciones son espléndidas, el desayuno sobresaliente, el parking suficiente… Todo muy bien.
La puerta translúcida del aseo, que en caso de usarlo deja salir la luz hacia la alcoba. También he echado en falta una percha adicional en el baño para los dos albornoces.
