Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Great location, close to the cathedral. We’re able to access a massage service after finishing our Camino which was fabulous.
We had to ask for basic facilities such as a kettle and cups which for the price and standard of the Hotel should be readily available in all rooms. No staff in cafe when we went in so weren’t able to use this facility in the hotel

Reviewed Sep 19, 2026The rooms were big and spacious. Breakfast was excellent. It’s owned by the monastery and profits go to help the local homeless people. I liked the fact that our stay was helping people.
It’s big and easy to lose your bearings but you soon get use to where your room is.

Very hard bed. Bathroom was a bit outdated.

O pequeno almoço para o preço que pagamos deveria ser muito, mas muito melhor, o wi-fy no meu quarto era muito fraco, uma coisa que eu não percebi, a tv não ter um único canal português, mas ter canais franceses, italianos, alemães e de mais alguns países e canais portugueses nem um.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026En general el hotel tiene muy buenas instalaciones, piscina cubierta, parking gratuito, etc. La sala de desayuno es espectacular y el silencio y tranquilidad lo más valorado en nuestra estancia.
Lo que más nos llamó la atención es que nuestra habitación estaba equipada con elementos para minusválidos pero con una bañera.

La transformation de l'ancien monastère franciscain en hôtel est très réussie. Les chambres sont bien équipées et de bon confort, Le rapport qualité prix pour une ville si fréquentée est très bon.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Absolutely stunning monstery changed to hotel. Staff were very friendly, room and bathroom was very spacious. Architecture and history of the building was amazing. Situated in the heart of the city close to several restaurants, coffee shops and the lovely fresh food market. Did the Martin Codax wine tasting which was really good as well. Food, sea food, meats and tapas was fabulous everywhere that we ate.

Die tolle Atmosphäre in den alten Mauern, das kleine aber schöne Schwimmbad und die netten, aufmerksamen Mitarbeiter bescherten uns einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt.

There are 8 monks that have renovated this incredible monastery which is located right in the very centre of everything - and yet you can pull your car up at the hotel and the staff even offer to park the car for you in their carpark. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück sehr groß und wirklich gut. Das Personal super freundlich. Parkplätze genügend vorhanden und kostenlos. Die Nähe zur Innenstadt super.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Non si può che dare il massimo della valutazione ad un hotel come San Francisco Hotel Monumento, da qualsiasi punto di vista: struttura meravigliosa, posizione eccellente, servizi da 10 e lode e personale attento e multilingue. Non abbiamo sfruttato la piscina e la palestra , ma volendo l'hotel offre anche questo servizio agli ospiti.

La sala ristorante ed il cortile antistante sono spettacolari. Camera confortevole sobria ed in linea con l’ambiente. Buona colazione e bella piscina. Parcheggio comodissimo e personale gentile.

Un lío llegar a la habitación : dos ascensores , pasillos laberínticos. Piscina y jacuzzi no muy grandes, gym minúsculo, con lo que pierde intimidad .Falta nevera y TV con internet. Luz lúgubre tanto natural como artificial. Muy cerca del office de las kellies, por lo que el ruido comienza a las 8 de la mañana, aunque pongas el cartel de no molestar.Enmoquetado en pasillos pero con desgastes/ manchas. Sanitarios muy usados aunque adecuados , con suelo de mármol mal pulido que le hace parecer sucio. Menú no variado .Aparcamiento de coche al aire libre.Para mi es un 3 estrellas, le falta algo de lujo y encanto para las 4 estrellas

The dining room was in the old convent refectory which was a bit daunting.

Personal muy amable, desayuno correcto con opciones sin gluten y habitaciones muy amplias. La piscina con jacuzzi y el restaurante, magníficos.
El baño estaba limpio, pero necesitaba reforma.

Las habitaciones son oscuras y pequeñas. El hotel cuenta con una única plancha entonces tuvimos que esperar a que otras habitaciones la desocuparan.

A piscina não tem cadeiras e só dá pra ficar dentro da água. Não pudemos ficar no bar na final da Copa (levamos sanduíches porque pensamos que estavam fechados, mas foram um pouco rudes e saímos). O museu está fechado.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026Ein unfassbar schönes, historisches Convento. Die Lage am Rande der Altstadt ist perfekt für jede Erkundung und Wanderung. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfassend und service freundlich. Trotz der Lage mitten in der Stadt gibt es auch ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze.
