Courtyard by Marriott Sandestin at Grand Boulevard

The location

It was beautiful, modern, and smelled so lovely.

When pulling up the hotel appearance was very nice and welcoming lobby was clean and smelled nice. The pool area was nice.

Only one elevator it worked but it took some time. I was told cleaning service only came every other day. Near a busy golf community gettimg in can be tricky.

Pool & balcony

Everything was pretty good wasn’t nun we didn’t like for real

Clean

Nothing

Very nice place to stay

I didn’t like the idea of housekeeping not changing my bed sheets every day.

The location , price, the staff, everything, except the fact that you don’t serve complimentary breakfast.

You don’t serve free breakfast

Pretty main lobby

Location AC unit directly in front of the bed Very noisy near highway

The property was clean

I didn’t like that the breakfast was not all you can eat: buffet style.

Staff were nice and place was clean

Price to high for property paid two different prices for Fri and Saturday

Friendly front desk

My initial room had ants in there, which showed that they don’t clean very well or often. They stated that they clean their rooms every other day. Upon checking out, I was supposed to receive my receipt via email & I still haven’t received it.

Good price. Clean room. Quiet. Good location. Friendly staff.

Could have more toiletries. Put hair dryer in bathroom .

Everything

Everything was great

I like everything about this property. I used to always stay in Destin until one day I booked with Sandestin and being loving it since. This is the fifth visit I stayed.

everything was nice

View was amazing, hotel was clean and close to restaurants, shopping stores, beach, etc. Met all of my expectations !!

Showers are outdated

Very disappointing.. Prior to Covid I had come to this location and had enjoyed it for years. I have just gotten home from a four day stay and all I can say is what happened? Upon check in everything seem to go fine, I even noticed some changes and upgrades since my last visit. We got all checked in to our room 350 and all seemed fine until we noticed the dated bath tub that looked slightly warped or cracked inside at the bottom, then we found that the toilet would not flush unless you stood there and held the handle which was reported. The pool and hot tub you could see had a very dingy film on the inside of the tiles at the rim which was very disgusting , even one of the pillars of the pergola had rot which concerned me sitting under it. If you needed to contact the front desk you would have to call more than once because the phone would just ring and this was on several occasions. The AC unit in our room looked as though someone beat it with a bat, the cover appearing as though it was ready to fall off. We would go out during the early part of the day and upon returning housekeeping still had not cleaned, when we called about it they said they had until 4:pm so I’m like are they going to clean while we are in the room,so we just took fresh towels. As a Marriott rewards member for over twenty years I am surprised at the slump in quality at this location, one I used to enjoy thoroughly. The only reason I did not ask for a room change was because it was a hassle and an even more inconvenience after unpacking and getting settled in and we did not want to go through the moving process so we just grinned and bared it. Even upon check out the entire system went down and we could not check out and had to wait, and even then they had to call us on the road to confirm check out because their computer system had crashed. Overall I do not feel that I received the full value of my stay and will file a complaint with Marriott. I’m sure this will be my last visit to this location sadly..

Clean and the location

Location

Costumer service is so badly I don’t came back again people is no friendly and there rude especially the lady at the front desk work on August 20th so so rude

Great staff, nice rooms and always clean!

The facility itself was nice I liked the location it was near several beaches , local Walmart and restaurants

Upon arrival my hotel bathroom smelled like urine from previous people. They clean rooms every other day when they did the bathroom still smelled like that it was the shower curtain like someone peed In should basically I wish the were more efficient cleaning .

ROOM VERY CLEAN AND CLOSE TO ALL SHOPPING AND BEACH AND RESTAURANTS AND WALMART,GOOD LOCATION FOR ME

ALL WAS GOOD HOTEL QUIET AND SAFE

The property and workers were awesome.

Nothing

The a/c was so noisy. Hard to sleep.

Enjoyed my stay here, would do it all over again. Very nice and safe

The wifi and the cable was not the best but it was doable.

The beds were very comfortable. The water was nice and hot, and the pool and spa were fantastic additions. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

There was only one elevator, which was somewhat of an inconvenience. We spent a lot of time waiting for it.

Good location from shopping and restaurants. Lobby was huge and comfortable. Restaurant inside had a great selection for breakfast.

Morning staff was excellent very nice.

Price was slightly higher than expected

Location

Sometimes the staff is not in the mood.

Convenient to the beach. Very clean. Enjoyed my stay.

I liked everything about the property

Everything!!

Todo

Nada negativo

Just the breakfast

Everything else staff was rude false advertising n. They charge unexpected fees

How Clean the property was.

We were told we had to pay for breakfast.... when I thought it came with the stay. That's a big turn off for our next trip. Most likely will not stay because of that.

Beautiful facility and location.

Air conditioner wasn't working adequately. Not getting cold. Left some jewelry in room (silver bracelet) and could not find. This was not your fault. We left accidentally, but could not find upon calling back and checking. Everyone was nice in looking for it and calling us back

Clean and smell very nice

The friendly staff the locations all the amenities offered here it has everything anyone would need. Love it highly recommend

The costumers service and the ability for early check in

Pool it closed late.

It was further away from most things. But overall it was a good place. Didn’t mind the drive

Clean great customer service

Nothing it was perfect

Loved the hotel everything was clean and available. My family enjoyed our stay here. Plus the pool closing till 11pm made it even more delightful.

I didnt like the service in the morning at the bristol when I asked about their Starbucks they were not very helpful at all.

I absolutely love this location and I would recommend anyone to stay there it is close to everything and very convenient to move around I can't wait to return

I was under the impression that the room had a complimentary breakfast but unfortunately it didn't however what they had to offer was workable and I will be back so all wasn't bad at all.

Nice hotel. Very clean. Pool and fireplace open until 11pm. There is a restaurant being built right door. Sounds like that will be open by the end of 2026. Golf course on the other side.

Room is old

Location good.

Room not clean. Bathroom had hair and soap on shower wall. Coffee station in bathroom loaded with dust. Room floor was not swept or vacuum. Poor housekeeping! Front desk staff needs customer service training!!! No welcome greeting, no energy, no nothing! Both trash cans outside front door running over with trash!!

The hotel did not meet my expectation when I arrived so I requested to cancel my reservation and was told that I could not and was charged anyway

Spacious rooms, nice pool and staff

Paying for breakfast/no room service

Property is in a good location and is clean

Location

Cost: Breakfast not included

Bueno

The hotel was easy to access and close to many restaurants. Parking lot was nice. Room was clean and spacious. The included breakfast was a nice bonus. The price was great.

Location and cleanliness

Took a while to get checked in due to them not having access to booking data? Aww also asked for extra towels and it took over an hour to get them. Beds were HARD

The beds weren’t comfortable.

The facility was very clean and updated... The staff was very friendly. I would stay here again!

Room was not cleaned upon check in. Dirty socks in the bed and hair in the shower and toilet . Front desk staff and manager did not care.

I understand mistakes are made, probably best to apologize and make it right instead of claiming that they thought we made the room dirty and out dirty laundry in the bed within 5 minutes of checking in.

Very close to several beaches, restaurants and shopping

The water pressure in the shower was very low and I had to ask for more towels and toilet paper even though housekeeping had taken out the trash and dirty towels in my room that day. This was on our 3 day there and we weren’t leaving for 2 more days. Also to get in to the parking lot you have to go through a roundabout that is used by the resort next to the hotel which caused significant backups getting in because the resort used security check to let their guests drive through a gate.

Good and clean

Coffee selection (picky, I know- sorry)

Comfortable

The restroom was needing replacing toilet seat. Mold in shower and outdated shower. Not enough towels for a three day stay.

Beautiful hotel and lobby

Everything was excellent.

They need to extend breakfast hours to 11:00. If you get a breakfast with hotel reservations then you shouldn’t have restrictions on what you are going to have, I realize that is not a buffet breakfast, but they can’t tell you what you can or you can’t have!!!!!

The property itself is nice

The staff is rude

The location.

The cleanliness of our room. Honestly, dirty. We saw TWO roaches inside of our room. The room did not smell "fresh". "New towels had hair from either housekeeping or previous visitors. Our room phone did not work, so we were u able to talk contact the front desk nor housekeeping. Because of this, I went to the front desk to ask for towels and either the front desk didn't communicate or the housekeeping department did not follow through because we never received the towels.

The overall location was good. The lobby area was appealing.

The elevators were both small and slow. The distance to the beach was disappointing. My rental for a balcony was disappointing as it only had one chair and a tiny table. The space was toooo small to sit. The image on the web site is inadequate.

Loved it was doing contruction near the parking lot so was a little fustrating but all in all loved it and will be back

The coffee shop was nice.

We could have had more towels. We also did not have complimentary breakfast as stated at booking. We were promised breakfast in bold red letters by booking.com but did not get it.

Great location; pleasant and professional staff

Clean and great location. Ample parking

It smelled like marijuana. I called the front desk to report it and the man told me” all rooms are smoke free.” Horrible customer service.

The room smelled like marijuana. I was denied a new room assignment. I was told “ all rooms are smoke free.” Disrespectful, unprofessional front desk staff (man).

Nothing

Staff was pretty rude and unprofessional, they don’t care about guests. Poor service.

Nothing

When I checked in, the room I had booked through Booking.com was u navailable—in fact, there was no record of the reservation at all. It took the hotel staff 40 minutes to resolve the issue, and instead of the room with two beds I had originally booked, they gave me a room with just one bed and a couch. They even demanded a $40 deposit. It was a truly unpleasant experience, and I want to hold both Booking.com and the Courtyard Hotel accountable.

Clean.

Nothing.

I like that the hotel was not within the hectic atmosphere of the tourist area. It was quiet, had great amenities and the staff was amazing.

I like everything, the hotel served its purpose and the price was fantastic.

They changed my room 3 times due to issues with their door and key card. The lack of properly correcting the issue so we were not back and forth coming to the front desk. Definitely helped our decision to never return to that hotel ever again. It was too expensive and we traveled from out of state to have so many problems with rooms dirty and the other was already occupied.

Is was quiete and peaceful and the room was clean, comfortable and the property was well maintained .

The lobby was nice and the restaurant has very good breakfast and dinner with a bar.

Great plqve

The rooms were very comfortable. It was a rainy day so we were in bed early. Slept like a baby

We had to ask for extra coffee and creamer for the room but this is because the weather meant we were in the room for longer than normal.

La ubicación

Costumer service front desk

Everything was lovely, quiet and very comfortable

Nothing

We were greeted with anniversary drinks coupons

For the price it wasn't worth the money

Clean property

I purchased the breakfast with my room and each morning it was an issue obtaining my breakfast. The ladies at the bistro had to call front desk and verify each day if I had paid for the breakfast and I in fact had.

Location , clean, quality, quietness

Location, restaurant and pool and area

My bathroom wall had not been cleaned, there was hair all over the wall….and it wasn’t ours!!!

Hotel was nice and was nit far from all major attractions 💜

Very clean

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Good location

Loved* how close it was to the beach ! And neat places.

My first room, the bed was dirty with spots, but I got another room, so that was cool!

Alles top

The bed was very comfortable. The cleanliness was exceptional and the staff was friendly.

The room was modern and laid out well. We had everything we needed. It was fun being close to a golf cart community that had lots of walking paths.

We had a balcony room, but they were not private balconies - you could see everyone above, below and next to you.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional. The lobby is huge and has plenty of areas to allow for work if needed. The desk staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool area is large and has a firepit for relaxing. Plenty to do in the area including the sugar sand beaches.

Clean room and friendly staff.
