The room was wonderful, a beautiful design, a great bed, and a lovely balcony view. The lobby is stunning, and we were welcomed with a delicious welcome drink. The food was excellent, and they catered perfectly to our dietary needs (vegan), it worked even better once we spoke directly with the head chef. The location is very good, and the pool area with sun loungers was wonderful. The whole ambience was fantastic.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war super! Direkt neben dem Hotel hat es coole Food-Trucks und Restaurants. Das Zimmer war ebenfalls sehr schön und der Zimmerservice jeweils ausgezeichnet! Die beiden Abendessen, an denen das Essen als 5-Gänge-Menu serviert wurden waren lecker! Der Koch ist sogar selbst bei allen Tischen vorbeigekommen, um nachzufragen. Die Poolanlage war ok, aber nichts besonderes.

Am Pool war es extrem windig, was ein längeres Verbleiben ungemütlich macht. Hier könnte man mal über Windschutzwände bei den Liegen nachdenken. Das Personal war in Ordnung Das Buffet zum Frühstück und zum Abendessen war unter unseren Erwartungen. Es war schlicht unzureichend. Generell waren Bilder und Realität recht weit auseinander...

Excellent location and very friendly staff. Great meal options included with half board.

What a fantastic place. Reception, lounge, restaurant and rooms are all top quality and constantly maintained by the staff. Lovely pool which is a stones throw from the long beach with crystal waters. But even the best facilities can be let down by the people who work there, and the entire staff at the hotel were amazing - friendly, attentive and always patient for the (100s) of questions we had! I feel guilty just naming a few of the staff, but Babu, Viney and Gretel in the restaurant and the always smiling Tatiana and Juliana on reception made the stay extra special. We thank them all and highly recommend you stay if you are in Praslin

Ein absolut traumhafter Aufenthalt im Boutique Hotel Indian Ocean Lodge! Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit – man hat fast das Gefühl, sie könnten Gedanken lesen. Dabei haben sie stets ein herzliches Lächeln im Gesicht, was sofort für Wohlfühlatmosphäre sorgt. Das Essen ist erstklassig (1A) und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch die Zimmer sind top – sehr sauber, komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ein kleiner, fast schon humorvoller Kritikpunkt: Es gibt wirklich viele Kissen im Zimmer – manchmal ist weniger eben mehr. Insgesamt aber ein perfekter Aufenthalt, den ich jederzeit weiterempfehlen würde! An absolutely wonderful stay at the Boutique Hotel Indian Ocean Lodge! The staff are incredibly helpful – it almost feels like they can read your mind. They always have a warm smile on their faces, which instantly creates a welcoming atmosphere. The food is excellent (top quality) and leaves nothing to be desired. The rooms are also top-notch – very clean, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. One small, almost amusing note: there are quite a lot of pillows in the room – sometimes less is more. Overall, a perfect stay that I would highly recommend!

The Indian Ocean Lodge is one of Praslin well known hotel which gives the best five star service to all its clients. From arrival to departure they will give you the most excellent service. Ms. Anita and Peter Alvis and her team was very welcoming and gave the best assistance and care during my stay ensuring a smooth and relaxing stay. To name a few staff that gave excellent service John restaurant manager and team was extremely attentive to details and organized a stunning deco for my birthday dinner and a special cake. The food for breakfast and dinner is very good and excellent. Edelbert bartender was super kind and always helpful and good at making nice cocktails. Marissa, Emma and Amy were always smiling and very friendly with a good attitude and assisted me well. Raju housekeeper was very professional and ensuring we were well taken off during our stay. The room very modern, clean and comfortable. This mini holiday was for my belated birthday but honestly it felt like I was celebrating my birthday once again as this outstanding team made it feel like magic. Thank you again Peter and team and all the best to you all. Until next time x

Le lieu est magnifique et le personnel est très disponible, accueillant et très charmant. La chambre était grande et confortable. Le restaurant ainsi que le bar étaient très agréables également. Le point fort de l’établissement c’est l’ensemble de l’équipe. De l’accueil, en passant par la cuisine, le service en salle, le personnel d’entretien tout était parfait. Merci à toutes et à tous !

Ubytovanie bolo nádherne, čisté. Personál veľmi milí a starostlivý. Človek mal pocit že problémy neexistujú. Jedlo bolo exkluzívne. Pre nás troška chladnejší bazén, na pláži sa nedalo moc kúpať ale rozhodne to stalo za to. Ak sa ešte niekedy vrátime na Seychely tak hotel bude našou prvou voľbou. Išlo o narodeninový pobyt, bez toho aby sme personálu niečo povedali tam nám pripravili na večeru krásny stôl a ešte aj tortu ako pozornosť! Skvelé

Great time spent there after some days on La Digue. The hotel looks stunning and most importantly, quiet and private. It was a good choice for relaxation. The food was great, really enjoyed. Had the chance to meet with Peter, the Hotel Manager, great guy and I thank all the staff for their friendliness.

Hotel naprosto nádherný, klidný, krásné dekorace. Nesmírně ochotný personál, vynikající jídlo, prostorné pokoje, krásný bazén. Se vším jsme byli absolutně spokojeni.

Jediné mínus je nepoužitelná pláž, mořská tráva a rejnoci.

Pas de plage nettoyée pas de transats sur la plage peu de choix au buffet en chambre pas de mouchoirs disettes de cafés gratuites Une seule fois pas de prise dans la salle de bain et des 2 côtes du lit. Pas de chaises ou fauteuil dans la chambre. Nous avons réussi à avoir un late check out... Merci... Mais la note générale aurait été plus basse sans cela... La plage est vraiment sale... Nous n avons vu aucun client s y baigner.... C est dommage pour une destination telle que les Seychelles... Nous ne conseillons pas cet hôtel.

The mattress worked for my husband but not for me. They tried a few strategies, but ultimately what worked was the mattress from the balcony. We kindly suggest better mattresses.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Indian Ocean Lodge. From the moment we arrived it was fabulous. Every member of staff was helpful and polite, the facilities excellent, clean, modern and comfortable. Bedrooms are superb, great views and the beds extremely comfortable. Overall, an excellent experience and highly recommended.

A beautiful, newly renovated hotel on a lovely, long sandy beach. The staff were extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent and varied. The rooms are large and functionally furnished. 100% recommended!

The location was a bit away from the jetty, but very close to the airport and to Anse Georgette. The surroundings offered a few mini markets and other facilities, a bit poor but we were in a little island. Breakfast was very rich and good quality. Dinner was every other day on buffet and every other day served at table. Good quality, excellent presentation of dishes. Service was accurate and effective. The reception was very collaborative and helped in some of our requests. Appreciated air con, the fan and the mosquito shade in the room. The beach was very nice, as well the pools.

Bizarre that an hotel of this level does not offer an hair dryer in the room, so you need to call reception whenever you need. Strange. Coffee pods were given for free only the first day, then you need to buy them from the bar: why not replacing them as you do for drinking water?

Beautiful hotel with a lovely sandy beach! Our room was spotless and had a stunning sea view. Everything about the stay was pleasant. A special thanks to the Chef, who prepared delicious vegetarian meals for my sister and me, and to Denise at the bar, who made so many amazing cocktails! Staying here made our holiday truly memorable.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Indian Ocean Lodge. After moving here from another hotel, the difference was remarkable. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always attentive and ready to help with genuine kindness. The rooms were modern, very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful sea view that made our stay truly relaxing. The most impressive part was the food – everything was freshly prepared in-house with high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail. Dining here felt like being in a 5-star restaurant, and we would return just for the meals alone. Congratulations to the entire team for creating such a warm and professional atmosphere. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Praslin.

Комары или какая то другая кровососущая хрень. Причем они настолько мелкие, что их не слышно, не видно и не чувствуешь, но при этом укусы очень неприятны. Практически все ходят с покусанными ногами и руками. Мне кажется персонал должен как то предупреждать и предлагать спреи и тд. Море очень мелкое, особенно в период отлива, купаться не комфортно, поэтому мы ездили на пляж с другой стороны острова

Beautiful hotel and great staff

La habitación estaba bastante bien. Funcionaba muy bien el aire acondicionado y la ducha era amplia. La piscina también estaba bien, no era muy grande pero estaba guapa y era cómoda. También nos gustó la comida. En los desayunos el buffet era variado y había bastantes opciones. Las cenas también estuvieron bien: alternaban un día buffet y otro menú completo. En los buffets similar a los desayunos, pese a no ser un buffet enorme, había bastantes opciones variadas y siempre había algún pescado del día; en las noches de menú, estaban preparados por el chef y estaban bastante bien también (luego salía a ver qué te había parecido y todo).

La política de check-in y check-out. Llegamos a las 12 y, si bien es cierto que ponen que la entrada es a partir de las 2, no te dan ninguna opción para la espera. Salvamos que la habitación estuvo lista “un poco” antes. Con la salida pasa algo similar, es muy temprano, a las 10. Puedes pedir salir más tarde pero en nuestro caso no lo apuntaron bien que salíamos más tarde y nos apuraron un poco. Tampoco nos gustó mucho la playa, tenía demasiadas algas (con rayas escondidas entre ellas que no podías bañarte) por lo que no nos bañamos ni un día en esa playa (lo intentamos la primera pero que va). Si te mueves por la isla tampoco tiene tanto inconveniente.

Lovely hotel where the food and the staff just made the experience. Bar team led by Dennis and Tony were fabulous. In the Restaurant , Babu and the amazing Samantha who looked after us for our stay. Lovely flowers on our table each night , and drinks by the beach and pool. What more can you ask for🥂😎😎. Room was lovely and the hotel had a relaxing vibe. Some seaweed on the beach ( which apparently happens at this time) but plenty of beautiful beaches within short distance.

Części wspólne hotelu (lobby, restauracja, baseny) nowoczesne, pięknie urządzone. Personel uprzejmy i pomocny. Szef kuchni zaangażowany i otwarty na uwagi gości. Piękna plaża pod warunkiem, że nie jest pokryta algami.

Pokoje wymagają odświeżenia. Łazienka nie spełniła naszych oczekiwań. Panele w łazience wymagają wymiany, drzwi w formie żaluzji - kompletny brak komfortu i intymności. Niezależnie od obiektu cała plaża była w algach i niestety to powodowało, że właściwie niej korzystaliśmy z niej. A szkoda.

Very stylish

Fantastic location on the beautiful island of praslin. The best thing about Indian Ocean Lodge was by far the staff. The are super friendly and take care of your every need. The service was impacable and especially the restaurant team around Babu, Vinay and Samantha made our stay perfect. Friendly atmosphere and everyone will remember you after day one. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special with you in paradise.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel, pas grand-chose à faire à proximité , impossible de se baigner à la plage, car il y a beaucoup d’algues sur le sable .

Zeer onvriendelijke mevrouw aan de balie bij uitchecken. Bij booking.com staat duidelijk 11uur, maar we werden verzocht om 10uur uit te checken. Daarnaast werden we de dag voor vertrek op de kamertelefoon gebeld om te vragen hoe laat we vertrekken. Zeer vreemd! Hele verblijf waren ze aan het werk rondom de kamer en zwembad. Met de koffers door het gras moeten lopen.

The walkway was undergoing construction so it was bit sandy but I am sure once it's completed it will be okay.

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den herausragenden Service des gesamten Teams. Jeder einzelne Kellner ist stets freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgt dafür, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an Babu, der mit seiner Herzlichkeit, Professionalität und Aufmerksamkeit unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht hat. Er hat jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen und war immer mit einem Lächeln da – wirklich erstklassig! Das Hotel bietet außerdem mit a la carte-Essen 1x die Woche und die Live Musik (2-3x die Woche) viel Abwechslung. Das Hotel selbst besticht durch seine wunderschöne Lage, die gepflegten Anlagen und das paradiesische Flair. Wer Erholung in traumhafter Umgebung sucht, ist hier absolut richtig. Uneingeschränkt weiterzuempfehlen – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and this was definitely one of the best hotels we’d ever stayed at! Whether it’s the garden area, the lobby, the restaurants or the rooms, everything is so beautifully put together! The view of the beach and the sea is just incredible and we just loved looking to the horizon while enjoying lunch or on our balcony! Finally, the staff… the staff really made our stay at Indian Ocean Lodge that much more special! We felt really well taken care of and we loved how lovely and attentive everyone was! You can truly tell that they all take a lot of pride in their work and that they genuinely want you to enjoy your stay! Special thanks to Babu who was brilliant and a lot of fun! We hope to be back one day!

Schöne Lage.

Der Service an der Rezeption ist unterirdisch. In den oberen Zimmern hört man ab morgens um 6 die Lastwägen von der vorbeiführenden Straße. Am Strand sind sehr viele Stechelrochen, Baden ist daher riskant (kein Hinweis durch Personal bei unserem Besuch mit Kleinkind!).

Сніданки та вечері смачні та різноманітні. На території два басейни, територія готелю дуже комфортна та сучасна. Персонал готелю дуже привітний, швидко вирішують будь які питання. Ми відпочивали з родиною в цьому готелі, та залишилися задоволені нашим перебуванням у цьому готелі.

Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft, mit Liebe zum Detail! Die Aufteilung der Zimmer fand ich super! Es gibt 2 Pools und 4 Häuschen mit je vier Zimmern! Alle samt mit Meerblick! Das Personal war super lieb! Danke an Samantha und ihr Team! Das Essen war auch sehr gut! Leider war es bei uns sehr windig und wir konnten kaum am Pool liegen (aber da kann das Hotel nichts dafür)! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Indian Ocean Lodge is by far the most beautiful hotel on Praslin Island, it’s very modern, clean, the food is absolutely world class and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

While the property itself is exceptional, its location isn’t all that great. The beach is full of seaweed and as we were there during the July August season it was extremely windy.

Amazing breakfast spread, the other meals were amazing too. The staff was absolutely phenomenal! Dennis, Marishka, Tatiana, Cad...just so great and hospitable.

nothing i can think of...how ever the beach was not too beach friendly, the water there is mirky with all sort of animals including sting rays...not the resort fault

We shortened our stay there due to many irritating issues: 1. The air conditioning did not cool the room properly. Despite our request, the staff didn’t take sufficient action to resolve it. 2. There was a power outage that lasted several hours. 3. There was no hot water in the shower for an extended period. 4. The digital lock on the room entrance was broken, and we had to access the room via the balcony. 5. The mattress was a low cost one... Couldn't sleep comfortably.

I have spent 1 Week with my mom in this hotel. Having only 32 room, each of them facing the Indian Ocean, just being completely refurbished, makes the hotel to a great choice on the Island Praslin. Every corner of the hotel has been renewed / updated, the boho-chic-style with it´s bright colours makes it to a comfortable and chic boutique hotel. The overall rating on Tripadvisor is not representative, as it includes the ratings before the total makeover of the hotel. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Special thanks to Anita Michaud-Payet (FO and Reservations Manager) who took very good care of us. Samantha, Babu, Vinay (but all other staff as well) in the restaurant were always there for us, Dennis (barkeeper) prepared the best bloody mary ever, but also the kitchen team (unfortunately I don´t remember on their name) made maximum efforts during breakfast and dinner. The dinner was mainly offered in Buffet -style, ( one night á la carte) the food is well described (on eco-friendly banana leafs), each night different theme. After the dinner the chef asks the guests, if the food was okay. 3x per week there is live music during dinner time. Luckily other guests were in a dancing mood too, it was great fun :) The two brand new swimming pools are good alternatives for a refreshing swim, should someone dislike to swim in the ocean. Depending on the monsoon there is indeed seaweed on the beach, but that´s nature. The hotel puts efforts to clean the seaweed on a daily base. Closeby the village Grande Anse offers ATM, money exchange office, supermarket, even a tiny coconut oil factory. Overalll we had a wonderful time, we found the hotel offering a great value for the money.

Small hotel but this provides closer and great treatment from staff. Rooms are specious, clean. Breakfast and Dinner was outstanding, by far better than in Kempinski we stayed afterwards. Reception very friendly and helpful.

Séjour super les chambres sont très confortables et modernes ! Hôtel proche des commodités ainsi que d’un arrêt de bus. Le bar propose d’excellents cocktails et le restaurant offre une nourriture variée et de qualité. Juste dommage, la plage à cette période de l’année n’est pas très belle à cause des algues.

Very friendly staff, they organised packed breakfast as we had to leave early in the morning. Lovely long beach for strolls and beautiful sunsets. The two pools are not very large, but very welcoming for a refreshing swim at the end of a long tropical day. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a nice outdoor terrace overlooking the ocean. The food was good, though not the best we had during our stay. I would advise the hotel to have a look at their sister hotel in Mahé. Overall a nice stay, close to airport for those who wish to fly. Nearby supermarket where you can pick up some refreshing/snacks for daytrips.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was just newly renovated, very clean, very beautiful & well maintained and all the staff were friendly, assisting us in every way possible with any request we had from helping us out to rent a car to organizing our honeymoon dinner & late checkout adjustments. It is true that there is not a big variety of food but honestly, whatever they are serving is very fresh and delicious. Overall: very peaceful place, we would love to return one day.

Staff are very friendly Accommodation beutiful Reception and bar are nice. Great location. Restaurante is like a cafetería don't expect table cloth. Water glass is plastic ! In a so called Restaurante? I can only describe the food as rubbish. Last night's old potatoes, thick suet pastry on the tuna Wellington. Poor selection. Tried several options, nothing tasty, no wow. Food is warm to cold. Not hot. Even the soup was Luke warm ! Above ground pools so be careful with mobility. Grounds look unfinished. Paving stops before cafetería and before you get to your room so you carry sand into the room. Did they run out of money ? It's not a good experience. A lot better accommodation is available for my next visit to the island

Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet, eine richtige wohlfühloase. Leider ist die Strandnähe nicht so schön, der Strand ist mit Rochen befallen und das Meereswasser ist lauwarm

From the check in to check out the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect stay. The kitchen chef even introduced herself to us while our welcome drink Was served and we were amazed by the fully renovated property. The pools had enough sun beds and were not Too crowded and we could even enjoy the sea view and sundown whilst swimming. The rooms were well equipped, tastefully furnished and the beds were very comfortable. What made our stay even more special was the beautifully organized honeymoon dinner at the beach , that the staff provided and decorated for us. All in all it was a beautiful hotel, which we can strongly recommend.

Only the Sandflies: We were completely covered from sand-fly bites that itch unbelievably and last up to more than 2 weeks. They live at the beach / pool area and should be mentioned by the hotel, as you will only notice them the next day dafür being bitten. We even had them treated with cortisone cream as they were so many and so severe.

Breakfast could be improved

As a long-time and frequent guest of the Indian Ocean Lodge, I was very excited to see what the new IOL, which had been completely renovated and remodelled, would look like and how it would affect me during my visit in November 2024. It had just reopened 5 weeks earlier. When I arrived at the hotel by taxi, I was very impressed by the new exterior of the IOL. I really liked the old hotel, but the new one is really a very successful upgrade. It starts at the reception and continues through the restaurant, the lobby, the toilets, the garden and the two new pools, which are now positioned right next to the rooms. The entire complex is now very open, modern and equipped with high-quality furniture. The bar in particular is now much bigger, nicer, stocked with many well-known drinks and with very good bartenders like Denis. There is always a wonderful view of the sea and Grand Anse beach from the hotel complex and the rooms. The food at breakfast and dinner is, as usual, very high quality and varied and, to my taste, even better than before. The upgrade to a 4-star hotel is also definitely noticeable in the service. In addition to the tried and tested staff that I have known for a long time, there are also some new faces from other countries. The staff are generally very nice, helpful and provide a very good service. Everything takes place in a very friendly atmosphere and a smile towards the guests is a matter of course. It is also possible to have an interesting conversation with the employees at any time, if time permits. Anita, who is responsible for reservations, has been very well known and trusted by us for years and is always reliable. Of course, we also got to know the new manager, Peter Alvis. He is a young, nice and likeable man who manages the IOL well and will certainly take it to the next level The entire kitchen team, led by Finette and Tony, deserves special mention for the excellent job they do. We would like to mention other staff members such as Taciana, Camilla, Michelle, Mariska, Florentina, Ch. Vasa and especially Samantha, who is always present and has a good sense for the guests' wishes. When my wife became ill, it was a matter of course for the hotel to call a doctor to the hotel. Once again, many thanks for that. We had a wonderful 18 days at the IOL and felt exceptionally well in all areas. It's almost like a second home. Thank you very much for your hospitality. One thing is sure, we will be back in a year's time to the now even more beautiful IOL. Unfortunately, I was only able to write this review now because I was unable to do so for a few weeks due to illness.

Best looking hotel in Praslin for sure (it was renovated lately). Very quiet and calm. Spacious and modern rooms, located just a few steps from the beach. Awesome pool and beach. Service at the restaurant was great.

- The food was fine but not as good as we expected. They try to serve fancy dishes, but in fact they overcomplicate stuff and forget about the basics. E.g. some dishes were overcooked. - The service could be better. For example, they had some issue with breakfast in one of the days. The kitchen employees were late, so they started serving breakfast just a few minutes before we leave for a daily trip. I would expect some special treatment for such a failure.

The staff were great... the room location was perfect facing the sunset and the sea... There were ample places around the hotel for one to chill, relax and sip a cocktail. Two pools?! Wow! that was impressive, it created a more private and peaceful environment. The room was clean, smells good and very spacious. The espresso machine in the room top up all the fun... My husband and I love it there...

We attended the New Year dinner last evening. The renovations have provided a light & airy space. The food was lovely, from the starters through to deserts & cheese. Beautifully presented. The front of house team were attentive & friendly. Well done chef finette & the team

The property is really beautiful, the beach beds, Rooms are amazing.

The staff were not very nice people. We requested for our rooms to be changed, they said they’re fully booked even though they weren’t. Our kettle wasn’t working, water in the rooms is not changed and WiFi wasn’t working most of the time.

Very shallow sea, and there vere some stingrays. Wifi does not work properly everywhere.

We were really happy about the very friendly and helpful staff. All our extra wishes and dietary requests regarding food were not an issue at all. Hotel had recently been renovated and everything looked really nice. We especially appreciated that they organized a small informal wedding ceremony at the beach for us during sunset with no extra cost! The manager himself was present to take pictures and a short video which he then sent to us. Great service.

Every now and then they got our orders a bit wrong. was no big deal though and they were always happy to correct it.

We had lunch at the IOL Kokosol beach restaurant.We loved the open space verandah overlooking the sea as it provided plenty of fresh air and sunlight. The home-made watermelon juice was refreshing and perfect for an entree. We ordered a Margarita Pizza for starters-whilst the base could be better,overall it tasted good. For mains we had an Octopus Burger,Grilled Whole Fish and Chicken Curry. The Burger was an innovative take on octopus and was a first for us in Seychelles.The coconut curry based sauce inside the bun paired well with the octopus patty.We really liked it! The grilled fish was a fresh catch of the day-a whole Grouper served with a tomato based creole sauce and garden salad.The fish was well cooked and seasoned with a citrus based marinade.The fish can easily serve two persons. The chicken curry was mild and flavourful with a thick gravy.It paired well with the savoury rice and the chutneys (Papaya and Pumpkin). For dessert we had the coconut nougat served with germinated coconut.It was a yummy nougat but too big of a portion for a rich nougat.It would be perfect if it was one quenelle of nougat served with a scoop of ice cream. We want to thank Samantha and Chef Finette for a wonderful and attentive service. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and the friendly staff made us feel welcome.We will definitely eat at IOL again. Ella and Robin

Place to experience the delicacy of the island cuisine. It's a must too try the Tuna steak or octopus curry Don't miss there mocktail and citronella Sorbe. Yummy The Staff are very friendly and attention to details. The view from the restaurant over see the beach watching the boat goes up and down. Nice fresh breeze. It's a must to visit

A relaxing stay in a gorgeous location Indian Ocean Lodge is the oldest hotel on Praslin Island. It had been, and partially still, under a major renovation. The result of this renovation is a dreamlike hotel nestled in the middle of a beach looking over the immensity of the Indian Ocean. The atmosphere is peaceful and joyful at the same time.  Nonetheless, the best part of the hotel is the staff. Everyone is welcoming and eager to help or suggest without being intrusive. The team members always greet you with a smile and ask about your daily experiences. Tasiana at the reception is able to help you organise your day between a thousand things to do. However, her team is as good. The restaurant is simply fantastic. Samantha is knowledgeable about any dishes on the menu and very professional. Fiorentina and Vassa are super attentive and quick to satisfy any requests. Everybody is able to enjoy the experience of a dream life holiday. Last but not least, I want to mention the impressive capability of Chef Finet and all the members of the kitchen staff. Here are just a few names of incredible food artists: James, Dave, Kevin Son, Ruben, Tony. Thank you all. The food is tasty, delicious and delicate. As a vegan, I am always very critical and demanding but trust me if I say this restaurant could be a 3-star Michelin. Good location on the Grand Anse, parking place included, the room we recieved was wonderful and very confortable. It has a balcony with view to the ocean but in the shades of the palm treas, equiped with own bed & chairs, it is a good spot to drink a coffee/tee which is free available in the room. Bed is big and confortable. Storage options are sufficent & for the values there is a safe. Air conditioning works fine. Tv wifi ok. There is a small fridge (minibar, but it was without bevrages) you can store & cool you own drinks, water etc. you bought. Today the hotel has 3 stars, but they explained they are planning to upgrade to 4 in the next monthes. We tried the breakfast, lunch & diner as well. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonoble compared to other restaurants. Hotel staff is very friendly they are always ready to help & support in anything you need.

The pool area could need some maintenance, almost sliced my finger at the pool ladder and hurt my foot at broken floor panels.

Came here for our anniversary and had an amazing stay at this resort. The rooms were ultra-modern, clean and the staff were very warm and welcoming. The views from the rooms and balconies were stunning, especially during sunset. The beach is not ideal for swimming or walking as there is a lot of seaweed, so your best bet is to drive to Anse Lazio. There is a pool on site and a wash & shower area. The restaurant did not have many food options, particularly a struggle for vegetarians. It is perfect for drinks or cocktails by the sea, and generally a good vibe during evening time. There are supermarkets, ATM cash machine and shops just a walk away.
