Location is great, central, easy to park and go to the restaurants and casino. Staff always wonderful, room well equipped with coffee, tea, minibar etc.

We were in a room right by the lifts with a big gap under the door so light and noise came in all night. The toilet roll holder was falling off the wall and the toilet roll kept falling off.

Central location and friendly staff

The Jacuzzi was not working and apparently been out of order for some time and the sauna temperature was not very high. You pay for an upgraded room and there is no difference in the room facilities, same pillows, glassware etc as my last stay so a little disappointing.

Breakfast was great. A few more gluten free options in the baked pantry section would have been nice.

We could hear the sounds from outside on the street below during the evening which I wasn’t anticipating.

Easy check in , we arrived quite late however staff were easygoing and lovely to work with. Facilities are always well maintained and frequently checked to ensure hygiene is up to standard.

Didn’t get quite the best sleep - the room we stayed in needed some maintenance work. I was woken up by something metal dropping on a metal frame, it wasn’t the air conditioning unit it was something else within the room and it was r pretty random it would come on and off. I’ve notified the front desk of it. I also noticed when we ran the bath the bath was full of dust and they didn’t have soap for the bath either so we just had to get out of the bath and get the pump body wash which was locked into the wall at the sick and come back to wash the kids. Anyways, the gym, pool and sauna and breakfast made up for it but I’m glad we only stayed one night.

I called a day ahead to check in.early for my room.i arrived nd it wasn't even ready even at 3pm and luckily a friend was there a day ahead so I could get dressed and then they messed up friends spa booking for the wrong week

The shower head wasn't working, the duvet didn't have a cover but was just in between two sheets, bathroom is super tiny, no prices for the minibar, parking is additional cost on top of a pricey room that was very average.

The room was not vacuumed properly and the room is nearing a refresh for a 5 Star hotel.

I booked 2 rooms 1 room had power covers coming off the walls the 2nd room had no TV and when asked to come and fix someone came up at 11pm and then wanted to bring technican in to fix which was declined so matter wasnt resolved until the next morning when we were checking out i had asked to speak to a manager regardng the issue and receptionist said she will get them to make contact i ensured they have my email address and number and have not been contacted nearly a week later.

The facilities are fantastic. They have everything from a Lap swimming pool, spacing spa, & sauna, plus a gym. 👌🫶. Everything i look for in accommodation.. Location is always great, close & walking distance to everything. I am a local from Auckland. I stayed here recently in July. I never noticed then, but this time around i noticed the Samart TV has Chromecast available. Something i know wasn't there before. The movie channel has always been stink. Now you can Chromecast straight from your phone 👌🫶.

Everything was perfect. I have nothing negative to say. I am familiar with The Grand by skycity, i am a skycity member, -! stay often via , booking directly. Through them. I haven't tried their $45 buffet breakfast yet. I think $45 is too steep to pay.

Best part was the pool, gym, sauna and deck also been in the middle of everything was convenient

24 hour reception and staff were amazing. The pool, sauna, gym area Valet drivers were kind and accommodating.

Staff were very slow, made me wait for a while as just wanted to pick something up. The hotel didn’t accommodate our needs. Over priced. It’s been a week and still haven’t gotten my bond back.

Location, location, location, perfect! In the heart of the CBD, covered walkthtough to Casino and Fortuna.

Wi-Fi was crap, ended uo uaing my data. TV signal was a bit crap, when watching sky signal would pixelate.

Very central hotel to stay for a concert at the Aotea Centre. Bed was super comfy, big fluffy towels, clean, quiet and there was also a coffee machine in the room. What more could you want?

Door to a connecting room was not sound proof and we could hear next door as they had a gathering in their room in the evening.

The bathroom is very beautiful and luxurious looking

blankets weren’t very comfy and one staff member Tracey didn’t even acknowledge me today when waiting to check out, she was expecting me to just come up to her at the counter instead of looking at me and calling me, another staff member noticed this and he called her out on this, this was then when i was finally acknowledged after waiting for her
