Friendly staff. Very helpful, cleanliness and spacious hotel room and bathroom

It was all good but it took over an hour for our steak meal to come. But it was well worth waiting for.

Room was spacious, warm and clean. Friendly front counter staff. Friendly and helpful restaurant staff. Nice foyer area. Great location in the city.

There was nothing specifically we didn't like. Although, the front desk didn't often answer any calls so always had to go downstairs to ask questions.

We enjoyed the location of the Hotel it was close to many things and the carpark as well being close by.

The price can be a bit much for it just having a room, bathroom and bed.

I don’t think I can fault anything

The hotel and rooms were clean and maintained. The hotel itself did not seem dated as some of the older ones sometimes do. The gym had good space and equipment and the pool was great for the kids.

Check-in seemed unusually slow. Each person in line took about 5-10 min to be processed. We checked in but were told we needed to wait another 10min for the room to be ready which was fine since we were 10min early. After the 10min a large queue had built up and we had to queue again for our key. Over all it took about 40min to get to our room. The hotel also requires a $50 deposit, which I haven't experienced before. I didn't mind this, but they also don't return it to you on checkout. Instead you need to wait a number of days for them to cancel the transaction. It's not a big deal, but if they're going to require a deposit, I think they should return it at the end of the stay.

location was excellent within walking distance to city and down to harbour. was easy to get around. breakfast was excellent the range of cooked food to the fresh range was suberb. from checkin to checkout everything was excellent room was clean and spacious for our needs. swimming pool was a lovely area to relax in after a big day out

We loved everything from the reception assistance, to the upgraded room option, to the view from the hallway area out into the open of the hotel. The service was exceptional, just as much as the beds were, right down to the pool, sauna (far too hot) but was great, the rooms, bar service, restaurant service for breakfast, just all round amazing. 11/10, just beautiful and the staff are amazing, they answered any questions we had, and we were within great walking distance to the main city, and were able to enjoy the Munster Inn for some live Karaoke, great crowd to wrap up our overnight stay, before we shot back to our hotel room for a very peaceful and comfortable sleep.

How could this even be a question for this hotel, it was beautiful. My sister and I loved everything. There was nothing that disappointed us.

Information regarding parking from staff was contradictory and confusing. Almost seemed as if they tried to be difficult (concierge and front desk staff) Housekeeping walked into our room in the morning, 3 hours before check out time while we were still in bed.

The shower in our room had very low pressure, the shower has 2 shampoos (no shower gel) and the bathroom door would not shut

The hotel entrance and restaurants were all lovely. The staff were all very attentive and welcoming. Having the different options of parking was also very good for us and good value for money for our stay as it’s quite expensive otherwise to park in the city.

The rooms felt a little outdated. We were a little disappointed with the room amenities. For example, no bathroom extras, no chrome cast or smart tv options (feel like this is a standard practice in majority of hotels nowadays). The gym was standard, maybe not the cleanest but also may have had to do with the people who were using it at the same time as us. The breakfast was also just average, nothing special but not bad.

The room could have used a style upgrade. Bathroom did not have a place to hang the hand towel and there was no hook to hang the bath towel within easy reach when you are getting out of the shower.

I loved the exclusive access to the 12th floor and the amenities of the club lounge

That the shower facilities for the pool were underwhelming and under maintenance at the time. The public restroom facilities were very small.

Foyer was a bit chilly. Could do with a coffee plunger, rather than instant coffee. One night the housekeeping team didn't take away a pile of linen but were great the other 3 nights.

The day before we stayed we called to ask if we could pay the bond in cash and they said we needed a credit or debit card, we asked if there was anyway that we could pay in cash and the person on the phone said one monent manager and then they just hung up. The fridge froze the milk we brought from home, Tried calling room service 4 time and never got through, Call the front desk after not being able to get through to room service to order 2 coffee that never arrived.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Grand Millennium Auckland. When we checked out, we asked if the hotel could kindly keep our luggage for a week while we travelled around the South Island and returned to Auckland for our flight home. The hotel was incredibly helpful and kindly stored our luggage for us throughout the week. We truly appreciated their excellent service, kindness, and hospitality. It made our trip much more convenient and stress-free. Thank you very much to the wonderful team at Hotel Grand Millennium Auckland. Highly recommended!

Great facilities, breakfast, location and clean tidy rooms.

Reception took a while to get us through. Booked an early check in at 11am so we could attend an event. We arrived just before 11am, but it took them 45 minutes to check in our party of 8 (4 rooms), kind of beat the purpose of checking in early. We were late to our event (not the end of the world, but still niggly) Also, one of the rooms didnt have hot water. They did offer us a free breakfast for 2 people..which was great, but even trying to get that was a mission. So credit for trying to do right, but execution a little off. Besides that, everything was actually great and the staff were still polite throughout.

Lovely rooms, the Sauna was nice and the breakfast was delicious.

Better discount for parking multiple entries as was nice to have own trandport during our stay however $60 i felt was a little expensive. A discount for returning patrons would be nice? This was our 4th visit to the grand and we have never recieved a discount as a returning customer
