Fabulous location and close to NZICC - loved the Skybridge that connected

It was quite pricey- another delegate stayed at Horizon for the same price I paid for 3 nights for 4 nights!

I liked the big bathroom and cosy room as well as the proximity to the Grand Hotel for a fabulous breakfast. It was very close to the Intercity Terminal and the reception staff were so accommodating. It was a great location right beside the Sky City tower especially lit up at night.

Favourite place to stay in the city. Close to everything within the skycity hotel eg restaurants, casino.

Checking out. The person at reception didn't know much about the show by skycity cards and free parking. They should be able to scan your card at reception to see if free parking is available especially if you spend at the casino. She actually told me to try when exiting and if it isn't free come back to reception and get a voucher for $35 instead of $48? So I'm going to reverse the car out? Are you serious! Then she said they have nothing to do with the casino and told me I have to go back into the casino and go to the kiosk. To be honest I don't know how to read the show cards when I scan them. Should make them easier understand.

Activities onsite lots to do. Really enjoyed bingo and weta workshop. Terrace breakfast amazing options.

The room was clean and tidy, had all the amenities that we needed for our over night stay, the bed was very comfortable, was great to come back after our night out and rest peacefully.

Needed a hair straightener for one guest but couldn't get access to one. No big deal.

Housekeeping staff delightful, friendly couldn't be better

Apparently we went over the 12 hours without a break rule,so we're asked to leave for 6 hours..This was disappointing as discovered while we were on the casino floor the time ticked away so, we were in the food court and that counts.we had at least 3 breaks to do other things. Whilst we understand the concept, being asked to " go to our room, or we could be escorted there" when told sraff we were staying in the hotel was condescending for a 70, 65 and 63 year old we see on the website different time frames so not sure what to think. Also , there was no warning that we were coming to our time (as we didn't know it existed) .so that was a shame. Apart from that, Misha and the concierge, front of house staff exceptional 👏 Perhaps signs around the place would help.

No mini bar, bottled water or cookies etc hallway was very dirty and needed a good vacuum dirty flannel stuffed under a fire door to keep it open no accessories in the bathroom shower was slippery breakfast was disgustingly overpriced and both coffee machines weren't working no bars open that we could find at midnight signage to bars/breakfast buffet etc not clear only 1 person on checkout at the busiest time

We enjoyed staying at SkyCity. The room was comfortable, the locations was great, and it was close to everything we wanted to see and do. We loved the bar that is located on Level 2, amazing, friendly staff.

Gym exceeded my expectations for a hotel gym. Was able to have a full workout plus cardio. Great location. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient although $35 NZD for parking overnight and throughout the next day - not surprising for Auckland but still expensive.

Couldn't find plug points by the bed - not a major, but in this day and age it is always handy!

I liked the almost 24hours of opening.

International staff not able to smile or slow down to serve customers there. One man had a problem with my choice of drink because It was 6an In the morning, an establishment that was selling alcohol and open for business. Im also a barwoman In the world and there's notging In the course about controlling choice of beerage when one Is not showing sigs of Influence. That was disappiinting. Also the lack of attention given to the carparks. It costs 35-60 dollars for paying quests accommodating there to "leave" the carpark. 35 dollars each "exit" or 60 dollars for unlimited exits and valet parking.costs not Included for quests staying at this establishment when Its known thetes no city parking unless moneys exchanged. A man died In this carpark and revived whike I was staying there. The staff of skycity had to be physically notified that a man had a seisure In their carpark and needed medical aide, Im assuming there was actually no one at the carpark security cameras that day. Another experience there which had changed since my last visit was the "thieft" of change In the poker machines. Some machines are limited and will only allow a minimum bet. Once your credit drops below rhat minimum bet if 5p coins for example to say 49 cents. The machine clears It back to 0 (zero) credit. Not all machines are doing this, some give you an option to "spin" your remaining credit below minimum bet for either another play or no play. That's almost like the old "double up" option but the one that does nit allow you to "collect" and then clears the credit back to o, Is thieft. I did report this to the front desk and he said he wasnt aware of It. I would appreciate a reply to my response on my stay at Aucklands Skycity recently, my ratinv for skycity Is 1

A Parking spot should be included in the price..!! Rooms should be placed together when ordered together

Comfy beds nice room for 1 and the utensils were good kettle, glasses and cups etc The cleaners were not only friendly but also acommidating when request were made. And on arrival and leaving the ladies gentleman who served me on arrival front desk were patient and friendly with smiles.

It was located in central auckland, clean and staff were all friendly and helpful - loved our stay here.
