It was a completely terrible experience. Most of the hotel rooms didn't have air conditioning, and the ones where it did were noisy and the fan speed was uncontrollable. One of the elevators was very old and noisy, and the other didn't even reach the ground floor. The furniture was very old. The first night I slept without air conditioning, and it was very hot in early September. I went to sleep sweating. I will not be staying here again, and I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Erst hatten wir ein Zimmer bekommen welches mir nicht gefiel, es wurde jedoch sofort nach einer Lösung gesucht und wir erhielten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit dem ich dann sehr zufrieden war.

Das erste Zimmer gefiel mir gar nicht. Bidet zu nahe am gegenüberliegenden Waschbecken. Ausblick auf eine Wand. Schlechte Zimmergestalltung. Das 2. War dann das genaue Gegenteil davon und war hervorragend.

На завтраке стоит мужчина на входе и постоянно убирает тарелки со стола, это немного неприятно. Есть запах в номере от сигарет.

The hotel has some genuinely positive aspects. The location is very good for exploring Rome, and the breakfast was excellent, with a good and varied selection of food.

Unfortunately, the negative experience completely overshadowed these positives. We are extremely disappointed, especially considering the standard we expected from this hotel. The main problems were: Extremely loud bathroom ventilation, making it almost impossible to sleep. No proper control of the ventilation or room temperature. On the first night, reception’s “solution” was to switch off the electricity to our entire room. On the second night, the ventilation/AC was switched off instead, leaving the room extremely hot and stuffy. A blocked shower drain in the first room. After two nights and several complaints, we were finally moved to another room. In the second room, we had to wait around three minutes for hot water. Poor communication between reception staff – every time the shift changed, we had to explain the entire problem again from the beginning. Some members of the reception staff were unprofessional, and despite repeated complaints, the problem was not handled with the urgency we expected. Technical problems can happen anywhere, but the way they were handled was unacceptable. We spent a significant part of our short holiday dealing with problems that should have been resolved immediately. The lack of sleep, constant complaints and frustration seriously affected our vacation. We came to Rome to enjoy our holiday, not to spend our time dealing with room problems and repeatedly explaining the same situation to reception. Despite the good location and breakfast, we left the hotel extremely disappointed.

The breakfast was exceptional, it was nice touch the rooftop.

The room temperature was poor, having a days of 39 degrees the room at 27 it wasn’t pleasant. Plus the WiFi coverage was poor.

Für Bahnreisen hat es die perfekte Lage, ein paar Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Termini entfernt. Mit dem Taxi war auch der Bahnhof Tiburtina in wenigen Minuten erreicht. Frühstück war ok, Zimmer sehr geräumig und sauber. Personal sehr freundlich und in der Rooftopbar eine tolle Aussicht über Rom.

Belső udvari szobánk volt, a szembe falon levő légkondi nagyon hangos volt. A belső kis udvarban a meleg megrekedt, áradt be a szobába. - földszintről jövő ételszaggal együtt. Az ablak bal szárnyán levő zár nem működött, így szinte félig mindig nyitva volt.

Horrible experience! Air conditioning was not working and the front staff did not do much to make things comfortable in 40 degree weather. Also, the power went out and the place was overall not very clean. I actually ended up picking up and leaving the hotel. That’s how bad the experience was!

We liked the location. The roof top bar was nice place to spend the evening and the staff at the entire hotel were friendly and helpful.

La primera noche fue horrible, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba, nos pasaron ventiladores pero solo empujaban aire caliente. Nos cambiaron de habitacion al dia siguiente donde el aire estaba mejor, pero la habitacion era mas pequeña, sin closet, tv mas pequeña.

I expected more from an international hotel chain.

We were told we had received a complimentary upgrade from our original booking at Regina Giovanni, but unfortunately this did not feel like an upgrade at all. The room itself was very basic, and to make matters worse, the electricity kept cutting in and out throughout our stay. I genuinely don’t understand how this was considered an upgrade. From the early hours of the morning, we were woken by constant drilling and construction work taking place immediately next to our room. The noise continued for hours, making it impossible to sleep or relax. We left the hotel exhausted and with headaches. If major building works are taking place, guests should either be informed before arrival or allocated rooms well away from the noise. It is unacceptable to charge guests for a stay where they cannot even get a full night’s sleep. To make matters worse, they have still not responded to my emails regarding the experience. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. Between the basic room, the unreliable electricity, and the excessive construction noise, I would not recommend staying here until these issues have been resolved.

My husband forget in the room a pair of jeans and a nice TH Shirt… check-in done on time, however we stayed in the hotel bar/restaurant for next couple of hours, finally leaving at 2pm and no one had a incisive to contact us to collect his clothes… we were back in Rome after 2days and went to the Hotel reception to enquire about his clothes and they couldn’t find it… a bit strange but apart from that our staying was very nice

Location is easy to find and walking distance to key attractions.

The cleanliness of the hotel was appalling. The room was so dusty that it triggered my allergies. The toilets smelled unpleasant throughout my entire stay, and there was stagnant water in the bathroom. Housekeeping standards were clearly very poor. To make matters worse, the room next door had a child crying loudly until around 1:00 a.m., making it difficult to sleep. During the day, maintenance work was being carried out in one of the nearby rooms, creating further noise and preventing us from getting any rest. There was no prior notice or information provided about these works, which was very disappointing.

Non è la prima volta che vi alloggio, il Golden Tulip è una garanzia. Posizione ottima, sistemazione sicura (sono una donna che viaggia molto da sola per lavoro), staff gentile e competente, il miglior cocktail bar del circondario. Piacevole sorpresa avere una stanza che sembrava rinnovata di recente, era un albergo ottimo già prima, ora ancora di più.

Il prezzo è un po' alto, ma personalmente scelgo mille volte sicurezza e pulizia piuttosto che una tariffa più conveniente al costo di compromessi

L'aria condizionata è regolabile esclusivamente richiedendo alla reception di alzare o abbassare la temperatura, così c'è scritto sul foglio che danno in accoglienza. Di notte stavo morendo di caldo ma avrei dovuto scendere quattro piani sotto o telefonare (boh?) per alzare la temperatura della stanza. Assurdo in un albergo di questa categoria. Peccato penalizza molto la struttura.

Posizione e versatilità

Nella presentazione delle camere dicono che c'è la possibilità in camera del bollitore della macchina del caffè ma non è vero. È assurdo che non ci sia neanche un mini frigo con jna bottiglia di acqua. L'aria condizionata è centralizzata quindi il display in camera non funziona e per adeguare la temperatura bisogna chiedere sulla reception e...aspettare. l'impianto non è molto performante

TRAVELLERS BE AWARE !!! The property is well situated and very close to public transit such as the metro and train. The property had no air conditioning. They will tell you they are doing renovations , but it is not true . We were told that they would control the AC from the reception / front desk but was not the case. The hotel has no AC! Guests should be informed that the hotel has no air conditioning before booking .

The property is in a great location with easy access to the city. The rooms are a good size, the staff are accessible and the breakfast was nice.

The location is perfect: A few minutes walk from Termini train station. I had a few issues in the room about leaking water, but the staff solved the issue with profession and polite.

AC is sometimes not strong enough.

המלון נימצא במיקום מרכזי ונגיש . 3 דקות מתחנת הרכבת המרכזית Termini, ארוחת בוקר סבירה ועונה על הציפיות, יש אנשי צוות מקצועיים ושירותיים (מעט מאד).

הגעתי למלון לכבוד יום הולדת לבת, ביקשתי מבעוד מועד בלונים ומגש פירות, שילמתי 60 יורו על בלונים!! המגש פירות היה מזעזע, כולו חרבשים וחרקים, חלק מהפירות רקובים, המזגן לא עבד, נכנסתי להתקלח הדוש התפרק לי ביד נאלצתי לצאת ולעדכן בקבלה, הבחור בקבלה נתן לי לבחור חדר מבין 2 חדרים פנויים אחד גרוע יותר מהשני, בחרנו וגם שם לא היה מזגן אך כבר לא היה כח לעבור שוב חדר אז התפשרנו וקיבלנו מאוורר, יש 2 מעליות, מעלית אחת ישנה מאד עבור 2 אנשים תמיד נתקעת ומפחיד, והשניה תמיד לא זמינה, חוויה נוראית

Lovely vintage property at the heart of the city. Super close to the train station (only three mins walk). Cute room.

They really need to fix their air con. The staff was lovely when I called them in the middle of the night to complain. They immediately arranged a table fan.

Ho soggiornato solo per una notte, ma ho trovato un hotel dí buon livello.La posizione è ottima e sicuramente ci ritornerò .

The location was great

The room was extremely small, with barely any space to move around. The bathroom smelled like urine and was not clean, and the shower was also very cramped. The air conditioning didn't work properly during the heat wave, making it impossible to sleep comfortably at night. To make matters worse, there was construction noise on three out of the four mornings we stayed, starting at 7:00 a.m. and continuing until around 11:00 a.m. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. If you're hoping to get a good night's sleep, I would not recommend staying here.

The room was lovely and having on site breakfast was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Charming hotel. Perfect location. Loved the roof top bar at night.

It is too hot not to have adequate AC. Even opening windows did not help. We asked for a fan to help circulate the air and they were out of fans.

E' molto comoda se graviti intorno alla Stazione Termini. Struttura di livello con camere silenziose e clientela internazionale. Non ho avuto modo di provare i vari servizi che offre.

Rooms were not cool. Air conditioning was not existent. Was provided with a fan.

Location good for train connections. Termini is a bit sketchy at night but it’s a trade off for a nice hotel near the trains. The hotel and rooms were very clean & the staff were lovely. The hotel restaurant was amazing! The food was the best food we ate in room and the restaurant provides a calm atmosphere which is well needed after the madness of Rome’s crowds!!

La chambre a subît une transformation non adéquate : une salle de bain hors normes , le receveur de douche fissuré , très radins dans les produits de toilette Quant à l’ascenseur c’est le défaut numéro 1 de l’hôtel : très lent et comme l’hôtel ne dispose pas d’un ascenseur de service on a toujours tendance à monter et descendre avec le personnel de nettoyage et son équipement . et nous avons dû monter 4 étages suite à une panne du fameux ASCENSEUR

Nebija ledusskapja vai tas bija apvienots ar minibāru. Logi uz mazu iekšpagalmu, varēju redzēt tikai sienas.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Hielfsbereit. Frühstück und Barbetrieb perfekt. Obwohl in der nähe des Bahnhofes, sehr ruhig. Optimale Anbindung an den Öffenlichen Verkehr. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Ausstattung des Badezimmers. Kein platz für persöhnliche Gegenstände.

AC broken & controlled by front desk, our room was kept at 83F. Horrible customer service. Treated poorly in restaurant. NCL recommend hotel. Better options nearby. I uploaded a picture of our thermostat at 28.9 C.
