The location is great. The staff is wonderful! The deck is lovely. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting.

The rooms needed some refreshments around the tub. The shower door leaked. The hallways could use some freshening up. But all minor repairs.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal. Il est proche de la gare et d'une station de métro. Il est aussi proche des grands sites touristiques (fontaine de Trevi, Panthéon, Colisée,...). Nous avons adoré l'espace au 10ème étage qui donnait une vue imprenable de Rome. Cependant, cet espace est aussi ouvert au "public": un jour, il était privatisé et l'autre, il y avait beaucoup de personnes extérieures à l'hôtel.

Nous avions pris une chambre de "Luxe" et les équipements étaient à revoir. Plusieurs interrupteurs de la chambre étaient cassés, une partie d'un mur avait été repeint mais pas complétement et pas avec la même couleur. Il y a des traces aux murs et sur les rideaux. Dans la salle-de-bain, certains petits carreaux étaient cassées, les joints étaient noirs... Nous avons été déçus.

The room was big and location was good but that’s about it. The restaurant food was nice but pricey drinks.

The bathroom was pretty run down. The tiles were patchy with loads of grout in some area especially on the shower floor. The doable bat in the shower was just sitting in the wall and if you touch it fell. The toilet was in a bad spot with the plastic shower screen sitting on your face. And when you flush the toilet it keeps running . Paid way too much for the room. Very disappointing for the price per night we paid

Location was great. For anyone travelling by train it's about a 8 min walk from Roma Termini. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice. The room itself had two floors - an upstairs bit with two single beds and shower room + downstairs with a double pullout sofa and tv. There's a rooftop in open air and below the breakfast area.

It was all good. Can't really say much. The rooftop was very hot, too hot to even stay there for a drink - we went to the floor below and had a drink there.

Aircons did not work in July and nothing was done to help the situation and we were dying couldn’t sleep at night. Thank goodness we only stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Breakfast not the best Bathroom had no shower curtain or screen so water spilt out everywhere. No English channels on tv I then emailed them about our complaint and only offered to refund us 30% of our stay ridiculous.

Non funzionava l'aria condizionata ed a Roma c'erano 39 gradi. Ho dovuto prendere un'altra stanza in un'altra struttura perché non era umanamente possibile soggiornare in quella stanza. Nonostante le rassicurazioni avute alla reception sul rimborso, non solo non ho ricevuto da loro un euro, ma non mi hanno nemmeno risposto alle mail. Preciso che la prenotazione è stata fatta poche ore prima, quando il problema all'aria condizionata era già presente. Pessimo

The bathroom was poor quality. The first room did not have a working shower, went to reception and they changed our room. The second room bathroom shower worked, however quality of room disappointed.

I feel we must comment after reading so many negative reviews for this hotel on here before we travelled. Our stay at La Griffe Hotel was great from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The room was clean, with an enormous, super-comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. During the Rome heatwave, the air conditioning was absolutely outstanding – it kept the room wonderfully cool and was a real lifesaver after long days exploring the city. One of the highlights of the hotel is the beautiful rooftop terrace and bar. The panoramic views across Rome are breathtaking, especially in the evening with a drink in hand. Breakfast was also served on the terrace, and enjoying fresh coffee and pastries while overlooking the city’s skyline was the perfect way to start each day. The hotel’s location is excellent, making it easy to walk to many of Rome’s famous attractions. Combined with the exceptional service, comfortable rooms, and incredible rooftop experience, this hotel exceeded our expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

La trasparenza e correttezza in occasione del mio soggiorno l'hotel ha avuto un guasto all'aria condizionata , causando disagio in particolare alla notte, per via del caldo inteso. La struttura ha riconosciuto il disagio e ha attivato la procedura di rimborso del soggiorno , rimborso che ho già ricevuto per il tramite di Booking coma da procedura indicata dallo staff dell'Hotel che si è curato di tutta la pratica per mio conto

Great location for train station but easy walk straight into historical Roma xx rooms were clean and spacious bed was lush xx rooftop views were a bonus. For the price we paid we were more than happy xx

The bathroom could do with a complete overhaul. Shower needed a steam clean for lime scale and toilet seat loose xx it was clean just needed updating not patching. Hall floors were painted shame tiles from bedrooms couldn’t be put throughout as it would look stunning. But it was a good hotel.

The party I stayed with at La Griffe feel strongly that we should provide a positive review for this hotel as we had previously read some awful reviews. From the minute we arrived, the reception staff were friendly & accommodating. We arrived quite early in Rome and as check in wasn’t available until 3pm the hotel agreed to hold all of our luggage so we could go out exploring. We all had great rooms with huge beds, a very well equipped bathroom and the air conditioning was fabulous. The rooftop bar was a little gem & we had pre dinner drinks up there on both the nights we stayed. Breakfast was served in a lovely room too with views across Rome. There was a good selection of hot, cold, sweet & savoury foods, something for everyone. We would have no doubt in booking this hotel again.

The hotel turned off the AC on the hot week in Rome with no solution for guests. I was told to email and I never received a response. No one made any attempt to make guests comfortable. Do not recommend.

El hotel no tenía aire acondicionado en la habitación ni en el corredor, estamos entre 39 y 40 grados, al llegar dijeron que lo estaban arreglando o que nos enviaban a otro hotel, dije que no por que pague por La ubicación de este.Estoy con mis padres alojada, mi papá es un señor de la tercera edad a quien esto le a afectado terriblemente, el calor es insoportable lo que daño por completo nuestra estadía en esta ciudad. Esta habitación es de dos niveles y solo nos prestaron un ventilador, ósea que ni ventilador tuvimos en el segundo nivel.Además la puerta de entrada a la habitación está dañada, toca empujarla entre dos personas para abrirla o cerrarla y el agua caliente del cuarto solo funcionó el día que llegamos enviaban la tarde y no volvió a salir.la verdad siempre he reservado con ustedes por qué son una empresa seria pero en esta ocasión este hotel daño mi estadía en esta ciudad, espero su respuesta y la remuneración por este daño a mis vacaciones .

The staff was really nice and it has a good location, we could walk to termini and some attractions. The room was confortable and the abthroom big enough for 4 as we had the family room.

The only huge problem was the air conditioner didnt work well, we asked foor help and they changed rooms for us but the probelm remained the same. It was really difficult to sleep at night with that room temperature, also the extra fee for city taxes should be included ewhen you pay at the beginning. After all it was a good stay just not recommend it during summer because of how hot the room gets at night.

The location of the property was excellent. Located on one of the main roads full of shops and restaurants

We stayed for 8 days. Temps outside were 99 plus degrees. The air conditioning was broken. Not working at all. The staff did not give us fans or offer to send us to one of their other hotels It was unbearable in the room during the day or night.

I would like to update my review because of what happened after our stay. After I posted my honest review, the hotel contacted me privately on WhatsApp and offered a full refund if I removed my review. Based on that promise, I agreed. However, after that they changed their position and said they would only refund 40% of the amount. I declined because this was not what they had originally promised. Since then, they have stopped responding and no refund has been issued. I believe other travelers should know about this experience. Offering compensation in exchange for removing a negative review and then not honoring that agreement is unprofessional and misleading. My original review reflected our actual experience at the hotel, including the excessive noise from the rooftop bar and the fact that the room did not match the advertised photos. Unfortunately, the hotel’s handling of this situation has only reinforced my opinion. I have kept the WhatsApp messages as evidence of the hotel’s original offer.

My experience with the reception staff was disappointing and left me feeling uncomfortable. During my stay, one receptionist(male) made assumptions about me based on my nationality and brought up personal topics, including dating sites. These comments were inappropriate, intrusive, and unrelated to providing hotel service. As a solo traveler, I expect to be treated with professionalism and respect, regardless of where I come from. I also had an uncomfortable experience(another male receptionist) when I asked whether the hotel offered luggage storage after check-out. Instead of simply answering my question, the receptionist asked my room number me thinking he would call through the hotel Phone but instead he later knock and wants to come into my room to check the size of my suitcase. I declined because I did not feel comfortable allowing a staff member into my room for that reason. The following day with( female receptionist), my luggage was stored without any inspection being required, which left me questioning why the request had been made in the first place. I hope the hotel reviews its staff's conduct and ensures that guests are treated respectfully, professionally, and consistently. No guest should feel judged or uncomfortable when simply asking for assistance. additionally the toilet is unstable and dirty old tiles.

Localization is very good. 10 minutes walk to Termini, 15 min walk to Colosseum. Nice street. We felt safe.

The hotel is not 4 star hotel at all! Air condition did not work at all. It was 40°C outside and the room was so hot that we could not sit in the room neither sleep. It was a disaster. We were sweating all the time. Very unpleasant. The fan did not help at all. We reported this problem 4 times to the receptiin as we were staying 4 nights, but they could not help. It was disappointing and the feeling that you were vet all the time was terrible. The bathroom was also a disaster - after shower the whole floor was full of water. We had to have 3 big towels on the floor all the time. The hotel wanted us to pay more tax (as per 5star hotel!)

The AC was out in the building and they did not inform me. I had to call because it was 100 degrees in my room. They didn’t offer a fan until I asked.

Do not book this place, they advertise a rooftop bar. It was booked out the whole time for private functions and they will not let you access. Property is old and dated.

La intrare in hotel au o mocheta mizerabila, pe holuri au podeaua vopsita direct pe ciment, camere cu televizoare de acum 20 de ani, mobilier vechi... Pat matrimonial facit din doua patiri single apropriate... Calitate de hotel de MAX 2 STARS... Prea scump pentru ce ofera... La receptie imi cereau 20€ in plus pentru taxa de oras..

Cleanliness was poor, walls were dirty. Bed had some sort of fleas or bed bugs which was horrible. The bathroom doors had no lock nor door handle so it was not possible to fully close them

Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't working. I had messaged you to ask if it was operational; since I didn't receive a negative reply, we went ahead with the trip. Honestly, had we known beforehand that the AC wasn't working, we wouldn't have come. This isn't a criticism of the staff or the hotel, but it really spoiled our stay. Hang in there in this heat.

Buena ubicación cerca de Termini y con paradas e de bus cerca.

Falta de mantenimiento en las habitaciones, falta de pintura y baño muy estropeado. Ducha con cortina que se pega mientras te duchas, pila de baño medio caída, alcachofa de ducha rota, las cortinas no cerraban y entraba la luz. Mucha falta de mantenimiento. Tuvimos que poner una pinza para que cerraran las cortinas.

Nothing!! Alert!! Scammers!! This hotel scammed me by charging me for a Suite then downgrading me to a junior suite and lying to my face about it..

Alert!! Scammed out of money and amenities from this Hotel. And we were on our honeymoon, Lets not offer the guest an upgrade lets downgrade them like they will never know or find out, was front desk and managements approach. Also front desk nor Egor didn’t bother asking why we chose room with elevator (my wife has a disability and requires her not to use stairs, so yes a few nights she had to sleep downstairs). We were not given the right room because hotel decided to make change not us and not cool. Front desk also lied to me about the room as if they upgraded us, which was a joke.. Then manager Egor came out to see what he can do, but yet I still do not have an answer or refund for my overpayment for smaller room with less amenities. Then when I confronted Egor again, he said they are waiting for property managment approval, but they should and they have been ignoring since request on 6/30/2026. This is considered bait and switch tactic and is truly considered THEFT. They also had broken amenities, toilet seat broken, door broken, bugs, do not waste your money staying here.. Egor and management if you are reading this please do the right thing and refund me the difference for the smaller room as advertised. I was overcharged by $600-$700Euro.. Do not Trust this Hotel!

Ho chiesto di avere un cuscino più morbido di quelli presenti e lo staff ha provveduto a portarne uno nel giro di pochi minuti.

Il bagno, spazioso ma necessita di lavori. La vasca con delle macchie e residui di calcare e sporcizia.

Zentral, sauberes und schön eingerichtetes Zimmer. Hatten einen schönen Ausblick vom Zimmer auf die Stadt und auf den nahegelegenen Turm. Rooftop sehr schön mit gutem Ausblick auf die Stadt. Sehr nettes Personal. Wir hatten eine Nacht ohne Frühstück gebucht und wollten am nächsten Morgen Kaffe auf dem Rooftop trinken, das Personal hatte uns 2 Tassen Kaffe geschenkt. Wir konnten unsere Koffer nach dem Check-out kostenlos aufbewahren.

Auf Booking.com stand 15€ tourist tax wir mussten aber 20€ zahlen.
