Hampton Inn & Suites St. Louis at Forest Park

The location was good the staff was friendly and the food was good

My accommodation was horrible I didn't get the Jr.suite I ordered.

Very nice staff

It was very hospitable

The people was very nice and the room was very clean and comfortable

The hotel is very clean. Loved the breakfasts. Very good biscuits. Also they have 24 hour coffee in the lobby. The staff is very helpful. The beds are very comfortable as well

Nothing

The breakfast was very nice. Our entire family was satisfied. And that is tricky to do because as all prefer different types of breakfast. There was a large selection for everyone

Very clean and friendly staff.

The employees were very friendly when you could find them. They had a nice selection for breakfast

It wasn’t as clean as it should have been. The housekeepers either sweep things under furniture or don’t clean under it. I have pictures showing trash and food under a stool and under the bathroom sink in the room. The pillows were the pits. A total of four pillows and it didn’t feel like we even had one.

Perfect location for a family birthday celebration in South St.Louis. Liked the convenient parking.

We had a terrific view of downtown, towards the east; however window was very dirty.

Breakfast and location were good.

Didn't like having to pay for parking, especially because I wasn't told I had to pay for parking. It just showed up on the bill.

We did not have to ask for anything, we had everything we needed as soon as we arrived. The staff was always friendly. We could walk to multiple restaurants and cafes.

It was clean

Quiet and good location

Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Room had bed bugs (gave sample to manager). Sheets weren't clean the day we checked in, sinks stopped up, cheap toilet paper

I loved that it was a nice big room with plenty of room for us and the kids to move around. Very clean and comfy. Fabulous breakfast. My son LOVED the waffle station and all the toppings. I loved that they had more breakfast seating to open when the main one got full. The pool was so fun and the location was perfect. Staff was so wonderful and professional.

Can’t think of any issues.

Our stay was exceptional! From the friendly staff who checked us in and told us about local events and places to go to the amazing breakfast, the pool and the comfortable room. Everything was great!

There was a bug in the shower

Excelente lugar, limpio, cómodo y con buen desayuno. Lo recomiendo.

Nada

The beds were comfortable, clean, had additional sleeping arrangements with a file out couch even though when folded out it took up all the space by the tv where the table/desk was located. It had a microwave to cook food, breakfast was included. It had a tv although no menu of channels and couldn't get a guide to pop up so had to flip through the channels to find something to watch. Everything was clean and it was overall enjoyable. Oh and the main thing and reason we picked it close to the zoo which was the reason we were in Saint Louis can get there within a few minutes.

The layout of the room could've been better the TV was facing away from all the furniture so you had to look sideways to see it. The freezer part of the fridge was a bit small not really the fault of the hotel it's a design issue. It wasn't expensive but paying to park in their parking lot for how much the room cost should've been free parking.

Breakfast was acceptable. Room was clean

Hidden Fees, hard bed, very soft pillows (no support), towels that feel like never touched softener, couch that was so uncomfortable could barely sit on. Front staff did the bare minimum. Pool so chlorinated that couldn't stay in the room because of vapor. Didn't use fitness center because was open to be fully viewed from hallway

all was great

Everything was good I love the breakfast it was great. The room was nice and clean. But over all I love the building.

People with frowns on their face .A smile will not kill you. Some of the staff needs to be more friendly some not all looks like they are having a bad day not knowing what the next person got going on or why they drive 2.5 hrs to St.Louis every month. I don't like bad ENERGY.

Location was good and breakfast was different than other location

Outlets and bigger TV in the room

Very friendly staff

The breakfast area was very chaotic. There was nowhere to sit down to eat, as tables and chairs were all full and they stayed that way. Ended up having to take our food to our room to eat. Also, the pool area was overflowing with people. There were clearly more people in the actual pool that should have been allowed.

Loved it was quiet with a large spacious room and great breakfast

Bright, clean with good breakfast

A little bit expensive, parking was extra.

Very spacious and clean

The fact that you could only turn the air down in the rooms to 67 and it was hot all night

Location

Parking was a little far away

Breakfast

Pool (dirty, cloudy, small, crowded). Rooms aren't cleaned often enough. Shower didn't work right and was very loud. Very loud/noisy A/C

Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Beautiful hotel all around. My kids loved the pool. Can't wait for our next trip to the zoo

The staff was great and the location of the hotel was perfect.

The pool area was a free for all and was in need of supervision.

I really enjoyed the friendly staff, kind greetings all around and cleanliness of this hotel.

N/A

Great staff.

Nothing.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

No hot tub.

It was a perfect location close to the zoo. Our room, it was great, large enough for our grandson not to feel cramped. The pool was nice and everyone there was very polite and accommodating. We will definitely stay there again.

Great location

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean !

The tub drain was broken, the shower curtain rod had pulled away from the wall and was hanging down and the tub faucet would not shut off ! Also no microwave in room.

I loved how friendly and helpful staff were and it was super clean

No complaints

Clean. Great location. Great water pressure. Good coffee.

Nothing

We were traveling with our adult son and assume that a sweet room meant that there was a separate room where our son could have some privacy where we have now realized that Hampton Inn just calls a big room a suite room, which we found very misleading and not accurate to the terminology of what a sweet room is.

Variety of breakfast foods and spacious dining areas.

For the most part, everything was fine.

Location

Few restaurants.

Staff we’re friendly and helpful, facilities were adequate and comfortable

Extra cost for parking, no bathroom fan

Great location near Forest Park. We've stayed hear a few times.

The staff her was so kind and helpful. They made me feel super welcomed! I always appreciate things like this being away from home.

The staff was awesome! They all acknowledged my autistic daughter and were very kind to here. This is always something I struggle with being in public. She is very active and some people treat her like a problem child but the staff were all telling me not to apologize and they assured me she was ok.

Beautiful location with several surrounding shops, secure parking, indoor pool, variety of pillow types, spacious room size

$10/day to park, our room had an unpleasant odor upon arrival, no vapor fan in the bathroom, no closet space with hangers or ironing board, no microwave in room

Good- lot of options compared to other hotels where we have stayed

Exhaust in bathroom, different brand with soap, shampoo & lotion

Loved the spacious suite. Loved the tea and coffee bar, and breakfast was great.

Wish breakfast extended longer on weekdays, on spring break with teens who like to sleep in. Pool small and way busy the whole week.

My family and I were in St. Louis for spring break and stayed here for 4 nights. This was a great Hotel! The staff were all very friendly, the Hotel was very clean, the pool was working, breakfast and coffee was always warm. The location was great too - right off the highway and withing walking distance to the Zoo and Forest Park. If we're ever in STL again, I'd stay here!

Location

Pool

The location is perfect! Lots of activities and restaurants close by! Playgrounds within driving distance. Workout room nice and clean. Pool was clean.

The pillows are terrible. I wish the curtains closed all the way to block out sunlight. I had to rig up a way to keep the curtains closed. Good breakfast!

How nice the room was and the bathroom and the lobby was nice and clean walking in

The pool indoor was cold

Friendly staff and very clean

Nothing

The facility was unexpectedly slightly overbooked due to an influx of last minute patrons due to an event in the area. They gave our room to other patrons, but UPGRADED us to a very nice Suite at no extra cost!

I can't think of anything except for the fact that the heating unit was a bit noisy; and they didn't have "Newsmax" and other favorite stations on the cable lineup (but this is very minor).

Staff was friendly, rooms and pool area was clean. Bed was decent to sleep on.

Breakfast starting at 7 on the weekend. Although when askedif they could open early since we had to head out earlier for our sport, they did make us a breakfast sack. So we appreciated that.

Breakfast was excellent.

No fan in the bathroom. The tub/shower was difficult to to operate. The room temperature was difficult to control . No fan in the bathroom. No microwave. No clock

The Continental breakfast was awesome and convenient

I wish they cleaned the rooms daily instead of every other day

It was clean and the staff was super friendly
