Fomos recebidos com muita gentileza pela senhora Isabela e pelo senhor Virgílio, que nos fizeram sentir em casa. What guests love
- •Very friendly and welcoming owners/staff
- •Excellent location near beach, town centre and restaurants
- •Quiet, relaxing atmosphere
- •Nice pool and pleasant grounds
- •Homemade and varied breakfast
- •Clean and well maintained
Areas to consider
- •Some rooms have mattresses made of two small beds instead of one large
- •Thin walls / family room near breakfast area causing early morning noise
- •Occasional bathroom drain/sewer smell reported
- •Coffee machine at breakfast is noisy
Cleanliness
9.5/10Repeated comments that rooms and public areas were spotless and well kept (e.g. 'Everything was spotless', 'Propre'), indicating very high cleanliness.
Service
9.6/10Multiple reviews praise the owners and staff as extremely kind, welcoming and helpful (mentions of 'owners incredibly kind', 'Isabelle is really super nice', 'very friendly and helpful hosts').
Location
9.3/10Many mentions of excellent location: short walk to the beach, close to the town centre and good restaurants ('a step from everything', 'short distance to beach and centre', '25 min to Praia da Rocha but many restaurants nearby').
Room Quality
8.3/10Generally comfortable but some specific negatives: requests for a true double resulted in two small beds, one review suggested updating room decor, and a family room was noted as a bit thin‑walled and near the breakfast area causing morning disturbance.
Amenities
9.2/10Pool and grounds repeatedly praised ('pool lovely', 'nice pool', 'perfect pool'), private parking and self‑service drinks available; amenities are a strong point.
Value for Money
9/10Frequent recommendations and comments like 'we will return', 'ideal for a few days of disconnection' imply guests feel they receive good value for what is offered.
Food and Beverage
9/10Homemade, varied and well‑liked breakfasts noted several times ('rich breakfast', 'homemade breakfast', 'fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt'), with the main minor issue being a noisy coffee machine.
Overall Experience
8.9/10Consistently very positive overall: relaxing, friendly hosts, good location and pool; minor drawbacks (noise from coffee machine, mattress configuration, occasional bathroom smell) slightly reduce the otherwise excellent stay.
