The location and staff were fantastic!! Apartments were spotless and huge. Front desk staff were so friendly and helpful and check in was super quick! Breakfast was delicious every morning.

I thought the bar was very poor and service very slow.

Pool area was nice and there was a calm feel to the place. No problem generally getting a lounger. 15 minute or so stroll down to the beach and similar into Alvor town. €5 Uber. The premium suite is a good option for family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Overall good hotel in a decent location but uber best way to go.

Pool was never too busy, probably because you are quite close to the beach. Indoor pool was amazing for younger children. Hotel was really clean.

We stayed in a one bed apartment my husband daughter and myself .. it was a fantastic size and had two bathrooms . I could not recommend this hotel enough. We will be back

The Pestana Alvor Park was perfect for our holiday, the hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. Our room was great, very comfortable and plenty space. The pool area is clean and tidy, the bar staff were great. The location is walking distance to the beach and old town, but it was very hot so we did use uber a few times, that was also really easy. The hotel is not ultra modern / brand new but the decor was lovely and good quality, for the price range this hotel is excellent value.

Lovely friendly staff, nice food and coffee in snack bar. Quiet around pool (no music which was gorgeous). The room was very clean. They provide pool towels daily from reception. We had triple room, so I stayed on sofa bed, fine for a night, but not very comfy for more than a couple of nights.

Only one threadmill in gym and it was dangerously slippey. Another person entered gym and asked how I managed to stay on. It is a hazard. I think the cleaners used furniture solution on it?? Anyway, it is of no use due to this issue.

This is our 4th time in pestana alvor park and again everything and everyone in this hotel are 10 out of 10

Coming home

The facilities were excellent and the hotel was immaculately clean and well kept.

The dinner in the restaurant was not up to the standard I expected of the hotel.

Heerlijke ontspanning! De bedden zijn goed, de kamers zijn fantastisch en het zwembad is zalig! Het hotel heeft een prettige ligging t.o.v. het dorp (het centrum) en het zwembad heeft zoet water.

De WiFi verbinding is heel erg slecht. Als de verbinding al tot stand komt, is deze heel erg zwak.

Lovely big airy room. Comfortable beds and a lovely large balcony with views of the pool and the sea in the distance. Great breakfast. It was very peaceful. Room cleaned daily to a high standard. I was there with my sister and mother and we all really enjoyed our stay.

Not so much that I didn't like it but the road into town isn't great for anyone with walking difficulties. No path fie some, and quite a bit of broken paths.

I LOVED ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING FROM THE MOMENT WE WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR, STAFF WERE SO FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING , ROOMS WHERE VERY SPACIOUS, THE VIEWS FROM OUR ROOM WERE BREATH TAKING, WE MEET OTHERS DOWN THE TOWN AND THEY SAID EXACTLY WHAT WE HAVE SAID - EXCELLENT HOTEL AND WE WILL BE BACK

Staff very helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. Every where was clean and tidy. In terms of value for money unbeatable, the room was a good size for two adults , location fine. Good value at bar through day 4 estriol’s for £15 geed up.

No fault of property but paths aren’t great back from Alvor but only a short walk so don’t get to tidily. Ubers cheap as chips just incase.

Great studio. Spacious and clean . Lovely hotel 10 minutes walk from Alvor. Staff very friendly and efficient. Gorgeous pool area.

Location is fantastic , staff are all fantastic , facilities are great , rooms are big with great views , large indoor and outdoor pools and lots of parking . Close to everything but just the right distance away from the town to easily react on foot .

While the hotel looks great from the outside it seriously needs an modernising when it comes to the rooms . Doors , tiling , carpets and kitchen all need to be replaced as they are clearly very old and run down .Cracks in showers , shower door sticking ,shower taps extremely hot and dangerous , bathroom doors damaged from water . Sound proofing is non existing so you can hear everything .

This was the 11th hotel we stayed in while touring Portugal and the only one we didn’t like. We were not greeted with a smile or welcome when we arrived, the receptionist (the older man) just looked up and said “passports”. He explained the hotel facilities as if tired and bored of doing so. The worst thing was the beds, they were hard as rock. When I asked if we could upgrade to a room with more comfortable beds he said all the beds were the same in the hotel. He said housekeeping had finished for the day but they would provide mattress toppers the next day (they must have had complaints previously).The next day the toppers didn’t arrive. We had found a spare duvet in the wardrobe which we put underneath us to try and soften the mattress. So the next day we asked for a 2nd duvet to soften it a bit more. However we had 2 uncomfortable nights and woke up with backache. The pillows were very lumpy too. The small brown bathroom was outdated with a shower curtain in the bath - I haven’t seen one of those for many years! Only the very minimum of cheap toiletries was supplied and the towels were thin and scratchy.. The sofa sagged and was uncomfortable. Everything in the room was cheap and basic quality. When I told the receptionist I was unhappy with our room, it was the only time he smiled! He just shrugged - no apology at all. I booked this hotel due to good reviews but I don’t understand how it got good reviews. I suppose people have different standards. There is no way this is a 4* hotel in terms of comfort, it felt like 2*. We had paid for 2 nights, I wish we had just left the hotel on the first night and found somewhere else, but we were too tired from travelling. We managed to tolerate the 2nd night but had if we had intended to stay longer we would have definitely walked away and found somewhere else. We ate in the restaurant the first evening and were the only people there, both dinner and breakfast was merely adequate, not 4* standard. So disappointing.

The staff and room were great. The Hot tub was cold and when it did work only for a short time. It was also not very clean. The pool was ok, would like it warmer and the sauna didn't work until we requested someone to fix it.... The bar closed without informing last drinks around midnight. It was in a great location and i would recommend it if the spa facilities were upgraded. It was value for money in January nevertheless.

Location, staff and room great. Spa facilities ie hot tub and sauna need attention as does the water pressure for running bath, it took almost an hour to run it.... Room, beds spacious and very comfortable and I would recommend it.

O corredor entre o quarto e a recepção, estava com grande diferença de temperatura. Copo na casa de banho estava sujo.

Der måtte godt have været lidt mere at vælge imellem til morgenmaden. Smilende personale til morgenmaden. Personalet i receptionen var helt fantastiske meget meget søde og hjælpsomme.

Sun to hot during the day in August!!! Joking aside there was nothing that we didn't like about this hotel. The usual towels on beds then not appearing until 4pm pissed us off, if your not using the bed there and then don't leave your towels down!!!!!

O sofá cama muito desconfortável, o colchão de esponja muito baixo, as molas do sofá faziam muito barulho, para pessoas com problemas de coluna é impossível dormir. A piscina interior com a água muito fria para o mês de Janeiro.

This was a very reasonable cost hotel with very good amenities. I loved that the parking was onsite and no charge. I loved the indoor pool, jacuzzi, and sauna room (we traveled during Christmas) The breakfast was one of the best we had during our 17 day road trip. Loved the over easy eggs! The room was Huge and we booked the lower end room so I was surprised to see a sitting area with balcony. Walk to beach was perhaps 10 min easy walk. The location for us with a car was great. Also we walked to many places for food and drinks.

Would have liked the jacuzzi and pool to be open later ( I think it was closed by 6pm maybe 7)
