Art Hotel Gran Paradiso

I loved everything about the hotel! The bedroom and view were perfect. The bed was super comfy. The tropical shower was just fantastic! The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels supplied. The hotel was so modern, fresh and clean. The staff were all friendly and polite. The buffet breakfast and bar menu had everything we liked to eat. The pool and pool area were spotless with lots of loungers and the views across Sorrento and the bay were simply stunning! The pool got sunshine from sunrise to sunset! The hotel shuttle bus service was ideal for getting into Sorrento and back to the hotel and it ran like clockwork from 7.45am to 11pm daily. Drop off and pick up from the train station was perfect for getting around Sorrento.

There were no bottles of water in the room when we checked in or supplied daily during room cleaning.

The restaurant food was unbelievable, the breakfast was too as there was so many options. The view of the sea with the balcony was like something out a movie scene! The staff were so friendly and very helpful and very funny at dinner time!

The view of The Bay of Naples was amazing and the location was good. The restaurant was outstanding and the staff was very friendly and accomidating.

The shuttle bus could run a few more times a day to give hotel guest more options.

It is a steep hike up to the hotel if you miss the shuttle - it would be great if it ran every hour . Check out is 10am.

Size of room

Very noisy, you can hear people from other rooms and the corridor also the air cons of other rooms running all night which makes a very loud constant noise. They also had a party with very loud music one of the nights so I couldn't sleep at all. They did not warn about this party. The pool is too small for the number of people. The shuttle busses are not frequent enough so you might as well stay in the city centre.

- La chiusura automatica delle porte delle stanze e' troppo rumorosa - Il trasferimento da e per Sorrento..risulta troppo limitato nelle ore serali..le 23 e' troppo limitato sopratutto cenando tardi. L'alternatuva con taxi troppo costosa, consiglio un accordo commerciale con qualche taxi

This is hotel has great views of the surrounding area. The hotel is situated up a hill but they provide a free shuttle bus to Sorrento, which was great. The staff at the hotel are all very efficient. Special mention to the head waiter and his colleagues who looked after us very well. We stayed for our 25th Wedding anniversary, we had a fantastic relaxing holiday. We felt very looked after and the restaurant staff were amazing with us. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It was lovely stunning views good place to stay. The staf were top tier very lovely.

The air con in the room didn’t work we rang the desk loads of times to get someone to fix it, they sent someone up and said it’s the max setting bare in mind it’s mid July it’s very hot and we was sweating in the room. Wasn’t good enough for what we paid for.

Utsikten från hotellet var helt magiskt, så trevligt hotell med mysigt poolområde.

Tyckte inte rummen höll samma standard som resten av hotellen, underlig tapet i rummen och kändes allmänt låg standard. Duschhuvud m.m kunde absolut behövts bättre rengöring.

Rooms very average and no coffee makers. Free shuttle is a free for all at certain times, really need a sign up sheet or a designated line. Rooms never got "cool" only bearable.

Located in beautiful Sorrento, this hotel is perched on a hill with a spectacular panoramic view of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. The hotel is a bit dated but very clean.We enjoyed a good breakfast and stayed in a clean room with a small balcony. Linens and towels were immaculate. The bar staff were incredibly friendly A big plus is the free hotel shuttle that runs up and down on schedule, which is very convenient.

the girls at the front desk could use some improvement, as they were rather inattentive

Really enjoyed our stay here, the view was excellent and staff were really friendly.

Breakfast was not adequate, not amazing but did the job.

Absolutely loved this place out of the hustle and bustle. With outstanding views. They have a shuttle bus to take you into town which is run quite regularly throughout the day. Staff are incredible, super polite, courteous and extremely helpful.

I couldn’t find a fault

The hotel was in a perfect location for peace and quiet after 4 hectic days in Naples. The shuttle was on time and comfortable, taking just a few minutes to the centre of Sorrento. Our room and the outside dining area had stunning views over the bay of Naples. Dinner in restaurant was excellent although breakfast was simple. The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble .

The only downside for us was the lack of furniture in our generously sized bedroom. The public areas were spacious and well furnished.

Poolområdet är fantastiskt. Även bussen som går ner till centrum och tillbaka är superbra. Vacker miljö.

Rummen var inte så roliga. Vår balkong låg ut mot en stenvägg - satt aldrig där. Viss personal var trevlig. Andra inte trevliga alls. Kosta på er ett bra rum som gärna vätter mot poolen/havet.

Le petit-déjeuner pourrait être amélioré pour un hôtel 4 étoiles je l'ai trouvé très simple. Très bonne carte pour le repas du soir( tout était bon) et le snack du midi. Chambre très spacieuse et propre donnant sur la piscine et la mer (splendide vue sur baie de Naples et du Vésuve). Parking trop petit. La navette pour descendre en centre-ville très appréciable rajouter des plages horaires serait un plus. La piscine est grande, pas mal de places et la vue somptueuse.

Le point fort est sans hésiter, le personnel, accueillant, attentionné, d'une grande gentillesse.

Bien que le service de navette soit très efficace, il nous limite un peu dans nos déplacements. Par contre, il est nécessaire étant donné que l'hotel est situé en hauteur, ce qui vous une vue imprenable, des couchers de soleil splendide durant les repas.

Wundervolle Tage dort verbracht. Shuttle ins Zentrum hat super funktioniert, sehr gutes Essen, sehr freundliches Personal sehr sauberes Zimmee. Haben ein Premium Zimmer gebucht und die Aussicht war unglaublich.

Gostei de tudo, os funcionários principalmente são extremamente educados, gentis e atenciosos em geral ,mas os do restaurante sao fantásticos.

Lo primero y muy importante, el hotel NO tiene una excelente ubicación, ni siquiera queda en Sorrento. Sin embargo ofrecen un servicio de Shuttle bus para ir y venir del train station de Sorrento, el mayor problema es que NO me avisaron (adjunto foto) por lo que terminé caminando 30 minutos con mi novia, con maletas, y en una montaña de mucha pendiente para llegar al hotel (me dicen “oh, no debiste hacer eso”, pero si no avisan pues DIFÍCIL) Lo segundo que nos molestó fue que el personal es amable en el desayuno (el cual es bueno) sin embargo, si no dejas tip el primer día, el segundo día ni te determinan adrede, entonces el tip NO es un tip, es obligatorio y no avisan. No nos ofrecieron café, ni no son sentaron el segundo día, se notaba que fueron groseros a posta, no nos determinaron. Tercero, fuimos en época de primavera (frío) y la piscina es muy llamativa, sin embargo no tiene calefacción, por lo que estaba helada y así no se disfruta, nadie duraba más de 5 minutos adentro. Cuarto, la habitación tiene un muy buen televisor pero no puedo creer que no sea smart o no tenga forma de compartir pantalla, solo tiene programas nacionales (esto es común en Italia pero al ver que era Samsung y grande pensé que por fin podríamos relajar viendo algo de streaming y NO, no hay manera) Por último, me pareció muy llamativo que el hotel estaba lleno de gente de la tercera edad, no se si fue coincidencia pero solo habían abuelitos. Por ende, todo el tiempo nos observaron sin disimular, NO lo recomendamos para una pareja joven, son todos señores mayores, nos hacían sentir muy incómodos.

L’emplacement avec une vue magnifique sur la baie de Naples. Petit dejeuner copieux , personnel très sympathique et serviable et surtout navette disponible a partir de la station de train et du bus et dans la journée entre l’hôtel et le centre

A fantastic view and very friendly hotel staff!!!

Taking into consideration the design and comfort level , the prices especially of the so called suites are much to high. The booked suite was very „loud“ based on the layout of corridors and the noise of other persons.

Beautiful hotel with incredible views of Sorrento, Vesuvius, and the sea. Spacious rooms. Beautiful pool. Convenient shuttle to the train station with an easy walk from their around town. Was a great spot for our time in Sorrento.

Great staff in the pool and restaurant areas.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant and pool area. They all had a really good sense of humour. We had half board and the a la carte evening menu was superb!! Loved being served at your table just like a restaurant at home. You could switch lunch for dinner or vice versa depending on your plans for the day. Nothing was too much trouble. Cleanliness was exceptional and the cleaners were noticeably happy in their job. We upgraded our room and were given an excellent daily rate. As the hotel is situated at the top of the hillside the views were spectacular. The Shuttle bus ran on average every hour or so into Sorrento - last return time 11pm. Would definitely recommend and return to this hotel and resort.

Would have loved tea and coffee making facility in our room - us Brits love a cuppa tea! Rooms need upgrading but were very comfortable and exceptionally clean.

Awesome stay here for our 4 days in sorrento, quit location out of the craziness. Shuttle that runs from hotel to downtown everyday from 8:30am-11pm very convenient. Pool is awesome bar and restaurant are great aswell. Would definitely recommend

Linda vista, a piscina está em melhor condições do que apresentada nas fotos, staff agradável e muito simpático. O transfer oferecido gratuitamente foi muito útil para visitar o centro da vila.

Penso que o café da manhã deixou a desejar.... Esperava alimentos mais frescos e locais, e com mais opções sem glúten e saudávevis

The hotel was quite far out and although the shuttle bus was handy, it meant all trips into the town needed to be planned in accordance with the timetable- there is only 10 runs into the town per day and I think these shuttles should be more regular especially at the peak times.

Sicuramente rimani affascinato dalla vista: un quadro di mare con il Vesuvio sullo sfondo. Piscina con idromassaggio, cucina molto buona, navetta comodissima per andare in paese senza dover impazzire per il parcheggio.

Un paio di difetti in camera con il soffione della doccia arrugginito e il terrazzino condiviso con la camera a fianco, piccoli dettagli che in una struttura del genere non ti aspetti

Servizio navetta dovrebbe avere orari più ampi specialmente la sera. Almeno l'acqua potrebbe essere inclusa ai pasti. Abbiamo portato al seguito il nostro cane di piccola taglia ma il prezzo per il soggiorno c'è sembrato un po' caro.

Gorgeous property with a beautiful pool overlooking the water. Great shuttle that makes the hilltop location no problem. The restaurant dinner was outstanding. Servers were also very friendly and helpful. They worked very long shifts. Front desk staff not as friendly but no big deal. Loved our two nights here. Day at the pool Was spectacular.
