We had a lovely time at this excellent hotel. The reception staff were very helpful, especially Kevin, Guest Relations Manager, who listened and acted upon any feedback. Dining room staff were excellent, friendly, attentive and hardworking. Tables were cleared immediately, never had to wait for a clean table. Vast variety of food at each meal. We had lovely rooms with a sea view, rooms were clean, décor well maintained. Housekeeper Samy always did a great job. Although we don’t spend much time in the rooms, it would be nice to have more than one English speaking TV channel: It was rolling news with the same programmes in-between. A film channel would be great. Tea and coffee supplies in the rooms were well topped up. The evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss. I thought the children’s mini disco was particularly bad, (and I have seen quite a few), hardly any disco, instead musical statues, pass the ball and a lot of children standing around looking bored and waiting for the disco part to start. Sometimes there was nothing on after 21:30, after the non-existent mini disco but when they did put on a show, they were very good. We enjoyed taking an evening walk to the local shops not far from the hotel. The pools were clean, most of our time was spent at the main pool. All the staff were very attentive, with special mention for Robin, Jonnuo and Hesham and his bar staff team who kept us supplied with fluids. The DJ and Animation team were great, I admired their persistence in trying to get us to do energetic exercise in 35 degree heat, which we always politely declined ha-ha. Despite this, they always came over to talk to us so I have to make special mention to Honda: what a dynamo he is, always upbeat and sociable, loved watching him dance, he’s so talented. And handsome Joe, really nice friendly guy who chatted with us whenever he saw us around the hotel, day or night. Always busy but always had time to ask if we needed anything. All in all, we had a relaxing holiday in a great hotel and would definitely stay there again.

We visited in June and had a very good holiday. The hotel staff were very attentive especially the pool staff around the Calamari bar area and our room cleaner was good. My wife is a coeliac and has to eat gluten free food. We made the restaurant staff aware of this with an Arabic translated description. Ayman made sure each day that we were being served well. Also Abdulrahmen went the further mile when serving. Generally the food was good and the tables were cleared and cleaned quickly, never having to wait for a table. The al a carte meals were excellent in the Italian restaurant. The main reception and areas around it are very well maintained as well as the gardens. The pool at the Calamari bar does need some tlc. Overall we enjoyed a relaxing holiday and the excellent and polite service.

We have just returned from a 10 night stay as a family of 4. We loved every moment of our holiday. The reception team were great... we arrived quite late in the evening and the restaurant was open for us with some food items which was an appreciated gesture. Rooms- Spacious and the bed was super comfortable and huge. Having a washing line in the shower for wet swimwear was a great touch... its the small things. The balcony had a drying rack too which was clean and we used it daily. I had requested to have 2 adjacent rooms and that request had been granted which we appreciated. The aircon worked a treat in 37 degrees heat. Food - the main buffet was lovely. So much choice of hot and cold food, salads and fresh fruits. The egg man made the best omelette for us everyday. The 2 waiters which stood out to us was Bambino and Moataz they were an absolute joy to see every day. They had a great sense of humour and were really helpful. All the staff in the restaurant are brilliant and work extremely hard to clear tables and replenish the food. Pool - The pool was lovely and clean. We mainly used the top pool and there was always a sunbed available. The water was lovely and warm. Excursions - There is a rep called Mohammed who is based near the bottom of the lobby steps near the pools entrance from a company called Sea Breeze. He listened to what we wanted and arranged all of our trips for us. His prices were reasonable and it was comforting to know if we had any questions he was on hand everyday to speak to. There are other reps outside of the hotel but we preferred to book with him as we trusted him and he kept us updated daily on pick up times etc. We would highly recommend anyone to book with him and when we go again we will book more trips with him again for sure. Beach - The beach area is lovely. There is a small sandy cove and the main sun lounge area is tiered. Again always had sun loungers available. Overall- The hotel is brilliant and I would recommend this hotel 110%. Please be aware there are a lot of steps around the hotel but to combat that there is a buggy service to drive you around the hotel for less able bodied people. Kevin the hotel's guest relations manager was on hand daily to ensure we were having a nice stay and was open to suggestions.

"My first time in Egypt, and it didn't disappoint! I stayed here from the 7th to the 14th of May 2026. The Renaissance Sharm El Sheikh is a beautiful resort with perfect weather, stunning pools, and immaculate, well-maintained grounds. There is also a beautiful coral reef that is easily accessible right from the pier, which was incredible. All of the staff have been nothing but friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A special shout-out to Nasser at reception for booking us in seamlessly and starting our holiday on such a high note. We stayed in room 6206, which was clean, spacious, and had a fantastic sea view. What made it even more special for me was waking up early to catch the beautiful sunrise right from our room. I also loved the housekeeping—getting amazing towel art 5 out of our 7 days was a wonderful touch and truly appreciated!The animation team was also great—a big shout-out to Fire and Mooka for sharing their good vibes and amazing energy with us!One thing to note is that if you have mobility issues, there are a lot of steps, which can be off-putting. However, to compensate for that, they have golf carts to ferry you around the grounds. A massive 5-star shout-out to Mahmoud and Abo 'I love u', the golf cart drivers, for the rides around the resort and for always taking me to breakfast and down to the beach! Down at the water, a shout-out to Khalid, the beach manager, and a massive 5-star shout-out to Ahmed the lifeguard for keeping 'everything under control.'The dining was also fantastic. I ate at LA CASA twice during my stay—excellent food, kind staff, and true 5-star service. The main buffet restaurant also offers a wide variety of options. In general, we never went hungry!Another special shout-out to Danny and Safat for their wonderful service. I know I've missed a bunch of super people out, but a big thank-you to everyone who works here. You do an amazing job! The hospitality here is incredible, I'm already looking forward to coming back, and we highly recommend this hotel!"

The animation team was absolutely outstanding. They were incredibly friendly, fun, and professional, and they truly created the amazing atmosphere around the pool and the beach. A special thanks to Nada, who was exceptionally kind, warm, and welcoming. She was one of the most important members of the team and made everyone feel comfortable. At first experience in rainesance it looked cool but when I met the animation team they take it to another level everyday different activities overall amazing I recommend it.

Paid £2,700 for a "5-Star" nightmare. Extortion, ignored medical needs, and fake promises. ​Review: When traveling with friends, I stay at 3/4-star resorts and have unforgettable experiences. With my wife, I book 4/5-star hotels for her comfort. We paid £2,700 for the Renaissance Sharm El Sheikh expecting luxury, but it was the worst holiday of my life. ​1. Room Deception & Extortion: We explicitly told reception my wife has a severe knee injury and requested a room with fewer stairs. They promised a "nice room with a view," but sent us up a steep hill with massive flights of stairs to a room facing a solid wall of another building. For two days, they brushed us off saying nothing else was available while my wife was forced to live on painkillers. On the third day, they finally offered a sea-view room but forced us to pay an extra £180 for an "upgrade" we essentially already paid for. Seeing my wife in agony, I had to pay it. It felt like extortion. (Shoutout to the one helpful evening shift lady around 6 PM, but the rest operate like money-hunting machines). ​2. Tasteless Food: The food is awful. Breakfast is identical daily, and even the omelets have zero flavor. Lunch and dinner are just as bad, and the fresh fruit was frequently past its expiration date. Despite paying £2,700 for this resort, we had to eat out or order takeaway almost every single night just to have a decent meal. Room service is also massively overpriced for items that are free at the bars. ​3. Poor Housekeeping & Packed Pools: The room sheets are too small and pop off while you sleep, revealing a disgusting mattress underneath. Housekeeping only replaced the top two pillowcases, leaving dirty ones underneath. The pools are small and badly laid out. The only decent one by the sea gets packed. Frontline pool staff work hard, but the sunbeds are cheap, uncomfortable, bent, or broken metal. ​4. Broken Golf Cart System: You wait 10-15 minutes in 40°C heat for a cart. There are two shift drivers: one is fantastic, polite, and welcoming. The other is incredibly aggressive, shouting and arguing with other drivers around blind corners with passengers onboard, which felt unsafe. Management needs to leave their air-conditioned offices to notice this. ​5. Chaotic Entertainment: The kids' show dragged on for two hours with confusing, uncoordinated games. The daytime animation staff lack professional boundaries—they are overly pushy about aqua gym and even cross lines asking guests for personal photos or social media handles. Management needs to train them on boundary respect. ​6. Mr. Kaven’s Lies: A manager named Mr. Kaven approached us by the pool for feedback. After hearing about the £180 charge and my wife’s knee, he looked us in the eye and promised a full refund of the £180 plus compensation. He then completely ghosted us. Days later, our TV broke and took 3 hours to fix. Ten minutes later, Mr. Kaven called looking for positive feedback because the TV was working! When reminded of the refund, he panicked, promised to call back immediately, and ignored us again. ​Conclusion: They only care about hunting positive reviews and brushing nightmares under the rug. They took our money, worsened my wife's medical condition, and lied to our faces. Avoid this place.

I’ve had an amazing time here. The staff are amazing they are very friendly and always treat you very well. I have felt most welcome down at the pool. The lifeguard Robin has been amazing to me and my partner, he is always checking on us and making sure we have everything that we need. He makes a great effort to keep us happy, setting out our sun loungers for us every day with towels and pillows, brings flowers to the table and makes amazing things out of towels. He is a great worker and has really made our experience more enjoyable.

Overall this resort is definitely value for money and enjoyable. The grounds are amazingly kept, and beautiful. We got a complimentary room upgrade into a suite apartment, which was amazing. The rooms are very clean, and decorated nicely. The beds are very comfortable, and the air con is amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Daily sunglasses cleaning by the pool, always giving out cold bottles of water, room service is quick, and dining staff are very attentive. The lifeguard, Robin, at the pool bar was amazing! So friendly, always giving us new dry towels, saving our beds before breakfast, and overall so kind. Service at the bars is always quick. All the staff are always smiling and happy to help. If I was being picky, my only downfall would be the food. As a picky eater I occasionally found it hard to eat full meals, but most days were fine!

The Staff make this hotel...All incredibly friendly and helpful. From the GM to the cleaners they simply go above and beyond to make you feel VIP. We will return to see our new friends here 100% including Rami, Dani, Nasser, Robin, Mo (Trips) and too many others to mention. Also a great location with its own stretch of beach. Very good security presence at the hotel, transport service excellent. There really is nothing to fault. We'll be back soon to the Renaissance.

We spent a great relaxing week at this delightful Marriott property and truly enjoyed our stay. Although the resort is quite large, it is spread across an extensive landscaped estate, with accommodations arranged in separate village-style clusters that ensure a great sense of privacy. I would highly recommend choosing one of the front-row rooms or suites overlooking the sea, as the views are simply spectacular. The gardens are impeccably maintained, and several swimming pools are thoughtfully distributed across the different levels of the property, creating a peaceful and spacious atmosphere. The location is also very convenient: Old Sharm is just a 10-minute taxi ride away, while Naama Bay can be reached in approximately 20 minutes. The spa, while relatively small, is managed by a lovely Egyptian lady and staffed by highly skilled and professional therapists, making for a very enjoyable wellness experience. A special thank you goes to several outstanding team members who truly elevated our stay: - Islam, Head of Reception, for his professionalism and willingness to assist at all times. - Kevin, Guest Relations Manager, for his excellent service and attention to detail. - Mahmoud, Beach & Pool Supervisor, whose genuine hospitality and friendly personality made every day more enjoyable. - Haitham at the Calamari Beach Restaurant, who made our lunch breaks particularly memorable. - The ever-smiling Mohammed, who manages the resort’s activities and organized what was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip: the “Pirate” sailing excursion to Ras Mohammed National Park, which is absolutely not to be missed. - Last but certainly not least, Mohamed from Housekeeping, who looked after our room (6402) impeccably throughout our six-day stay. His genuine Egyptian hospitality, attention to detail, and dedication ensured we lacked absolutely nothing. Overall, this is an excellent choice for travelers looking to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of Naama Bay while enjoying beautiful surroundings and genuinely friendly service. If I were to suggest a couple of areas for improvement: 1) The breakfast venue feels somewhat cafeteria-like for a five-star resort. An outdoor seating area and a more refined, exclusive design would significantly enhance the morning experience. 2) The entertainment program is fairly limited and appears to cater primarily to Russian guests, leaving room for a more diverse and engaging offering. That said, these are only minor observations in what was otherwise an excellent stay. We left with wonderful memories, made many new friends, and are already looking forward to returning. Congratulations to the entire team at Renaissance Sharm El Sheikh Golden View Beach Resort for creating such a welcoming and relaxing experience. We cannot wait to come back!

We booked 2 units. The manager offered $100 higher prices in order to have 2 rooms next to each other if we book directly with them bypass booking platform. We did not accept his offer so we booked through booking.com but he assigned two rooms separately on each end of the building. I did not like the way they treated customers through booking platform differently.

Wonderful experience from start of holiday to.end. Lcation was spot on. Room was fab. Welcome platter of fruit and pastries. All staff was so friendly and helpful. All areas clean and tidy. Beach and sun loungers great always space. Abdelrahman Emary was so friendly and very helpful. Didnt have to lift a finger. Room was decorated with flowers and balloons for birthday and also had cake delivered to room. Restaurant manager Khalil couldnt be more helpful got chef to make us apple pie (just like home). Head chef wss great taking us round the wide selection of foods. Shops on site had everthng you needed. Chemist across road. Will definately be back next year. Cant wait!

Had an amazing time here with the animation staff and the entire team! They were very friendly and supportive. Attentive to all details and helping the gues to have good times around the property including music, dance, yoga and many more activities.

Arrived late at night and we were warmly welcomed at reception by Nasser who offered us food if we were hungry and taken to our room which was basic but clean and spacious with a sea view and a pool right outside perfect start. Again all reception staff were 5* always on call thank you to Safat? for sorting out our only glitch with our transfer efficiently. As an early riser breakfast from 6am was ideal for me and as a fussy eater there was plenty to choose from and again the staff were welcoming and they cater to your needs they work long hours and never stop to make your stay the best and tipping is appreciated which was well deserved. Thank you Khalid the beach manager who made sure we had everything we needed and to Ahmed the lifeguard with the mustache who had everything under control 😉 definitely 5* pampering. Again all lifeguards were very accommodating. All the friendly entertainment team shout out to Mooka great with the kids to keep them engaged then the adults. Having mobility issues I was worried about the amount of steps there was, but great if you want to keep fit, but they have golfcarts that ferry you around the resort so it was no issue at all . All the guys in La Casa the service and food is lovely and all wait staff in the main restaurant couldn't do enough. Special mention to Aboo Marty our 'race car driver' who made our week memorable 🫶🏾 first class diving school on site must try snorkeling so much to see. Definitely recommend this resort quiet yet active short drive to old market, can book excursions on site or relax on the resort feeling safe and secure for yourself and your items. Could go on forever everybody does there bit so you can relax. 10/10

Location is great, it’s close to everything, rooms are clean and luxurious, great value for the price, extremely clean and chill, pools are great, especially the bottom one, much appreciation to the staff Robin and Mina which helped us a lot and were extremely cheerful and just amazing, I would totally visit again, adding the photo of my fav staff member just so you all get to know this amazing person

Had an amazing stay at the Renaissance Sharm El Sheikh Golden View Beach Resort, the animation team was absolutely incredible always energetic, friendly, and made every activity so much fun throughout the day. The night shows were entertaining professional and created such a great atmosphere every evening also the bars were excellent with great drinks beautiful vibes and very welcoming staff.

A fabulous week at the Renaissance Sharm El Sheikh. The room was great, the food was lovely, especially in the Italian restaurant Al Casa. It was a perfect week of relaxation. The staff were lovely and very respectful. Special mentions must go to: Naira, Ahmed, and Ayman in the restaurant for their attentive service. Hani in housekeeping and the great towel sculptures. Danny and Kareem were great in the bar, and especially Khater who does an amazing job. They made us feel very special and welcome. Would 100% return — highly recommended!

We had an absolutely brilliant stay at the Renaissance Sharm El Sheikh. The whole resort is spotless, the rooms are huge, and the balcony furniture was gorgeous — perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The staff truly made the holiday unforgettable. A huge shout‑out to Ahmed, Ayman, and Naira in the restaurant for their kindness and great service. At the pool bar, Danny, Kareem, and Khater were fantastic and always made us feel looked after. Kalim at the spa was wonderful, and Hani in housekeeping kept everything immaculate throughout our stay. Every single one of them went above and beyond to make our trip special. We really enjoyed our stay 🙃! The room was clean, very spacious, and comfortable, the food was quite varied and delicious, the sea was truly beautiful, and the staff were very attentive & friendly. A special mention to the motivating Eslam from the gym 🤗 and Juninho, the one and only ping pong pro 😉, who were always in a great mood and very kind. The only minor downside was that the AC in the main building was quite strong, and we often felt cold there. Thank you, Renaissance Hotel 🤍

Large busy resort. Good Wi-Fi. Room was good with a nice bathroom and sower. Balcony with chairs and a great clothes drying rack. Stayed three nights and ate in the buffet restaurant that was busy . The food was ok - plentiful and nice variety if not fancy. Huge dessert selection which seems common at these resorts. Nice gym with four treadmills.

Di solito non metto recensioni negative, ma stavolta lo ritengo necessario. La pulizia delle camere è insufficiente. Senza entrare nei dettagli credo che ci siano degli standard da rispettare per un 5 stelle (riassetto quotidiano senza doverlo chiedere? numero di asciugamani? nastro sul wc che testimonia la pulizia almeno al primo accesso in camera? etc.). Non aggiungo altro .....

Clientela soprattutto russa ma c'erano anche italiani. Villaggio internazionale molto ben tenuto. Si mangia bene, con una bella scelta. Tutto pulitissimo, clientela educata e piacevole. Staff gentilissimo. Spiaggia con ampi spazi tra un ombrellone e l' altro. Un bel reef ricco di pesci. Ci tornerei!

Having stayed in Naama Bay a few times we decided to stay closer to Old Sharm this time and explore Hadaba. The reviews about the steps are correct so if you have any mobility issues or your fitness is not great read on below. LOCATION Around 20 min private transfer from Antalya Airport and we used Suntrabsfers.com for around £20 return trip. Antalya airport is very busy and very slow so allow at least 3 hours for your return flight. Not too much outside the hotel but there is a supermarket if you walk right from outside the hotel. Keeping walking right for around 15mins and you get to Il Mercato which is a couple of busy streets with shops and restaurants including a McDonald’s. If you walk left you get to the end of the road and the sea plus there is a back entrance here to the hotel. There are taxis always parked outside if you need to go anywhere. About two mins in a taxi to Il Mercato (100EGP). Five mins to Old Market (100EGP-200EGP). Ten mins to Naama Bay (200EGP-300EGP). Twenty mins to Soho Square (400EGP-500EGP). ROOM Rooms are combined into different blocks all spread out around the grounds with two levels in each block. Our room was 7404 and sat between the main pool and Calimari Pool. One flight of steps took us down to the Calimari Pool and two flights up to the Main pool. Most are sea facing and a good size but don’t forget your adapters for your 3 pin plugs. A free to use safe, kettle, iron and board, water bottles every day, small fridge and a TV (never switched it on). Good size balcony with two comfy chairs and a table. Shower has decent power and water temperature was good. Entertainment was in the main reception so rooms close to here may be a bit noisy at night although the entertainment doesn’t drag on too long. WIFI Free and pretty good around most of the hotel. We walked close to the beach and still worked. POOLS There are 4 pools in total spread around the grounds: 1/ Quiet Pool - This is a medium pool located just outside the main entrance and has around 34 rooms around it. No music and no bar/snacks at this pool but great for quiet relaxing time. You can get from this area to the main reception (including main restaurant) without climbing any steps, so perfect for anyone with mobility issues. You can also go down the stairs in the main reception to the main pool or round the side of the hotel without any steps to the main pool. 2/ Main pool - Go down the stairs in the main reception and you get to the main pool. This is a large pool with a good kids area too. It was also heated in April but may not be later in the year. There are rooms close to this pool but can get quite noisy with the kids and music but ideal for families. There is also a bar area and a snack area. 3/ Calimari Pool - This is a medium size pool in between the main pool and the beach. Not too many loungers here and they got taken up quite quickly. Has drinks/snacks available and a small kids area. Takes around 5 minutes and a three flights of steps to get to the main reception/restaurant from here. You can get a room around this pool to stay fairly central to other parts of the hotel. 4/ Aqua Pool - A medium sized pool with kids area and good number of loungers. Furthest from main reception (quite a few stairs) but close to the beach. Ideal if you want to spend more time at the beach. 4/ Beach Area - A good amount of space here with plenty of loungers and also a Dive centre. Didn’t use this much so not sure about drinks/snacks. FOOD The main restaurant is in the main reception building. We were all inclusive and it was okay, usual hotel food. Breakfast for us was mainly fried eggs or omelettes along with pancakes. It did the job. Lunch and dinner were okay too but we ate out most evenings. They did a themed dinner night most nights so something for everyone. Restaurant service was good, they kept tables ready so no queues. There’s two À la carte restaurants which you can book once during your stay. The menus didn’t look great though so we passed on these. GYM/SPA There is a small limited gym and a SPA. We used the SPA for massage, pedicure and hair wash/blow dry. Not far off UK prices but you need to tell them exactly what you need. If you need a real deep medical massage ask for Amy the Thai masseuse. STAFF Can’t fault them. Even the ones with limited English made an effort to say hello. Most do have a good enough level of English though and are always happy to help. BUGGY SERVICE There are golf buggies constantly driving around so if you need to get around the hotel without the steps you can jump on one of these. They have dedicated ’Buggy Stops’ or they will stop for you or you can call them from your room telephone. These take you from reception to your room to the beach and the other way too. A great service and really useful if you struggle with climbing lots of steps. OVERALL A great hotel with a village feel. Ideal for couples and families and easy access to most other areas of Sharm. Think of the steps as a cardio activity! We are in our fifties and fairly active and did feel it in our legs but got used to it. There’s also a shop in the hotel which’s sells most things if you don’t fancy wandering out and a cash machine too. Mosquitoes weren’t too bad but we did take room plugs, bands and sprays with us.

Вкусное, разнообразное меню в ресторане Coast: мы любим традиционную египетскую кухню- хумус, бабагануш, лепешки, салаты, овощи, была клубника в шоколаде, очень вкусная и полезная сезонная гуава. Уборка и смена белья -каждый день, даже не через день. Всегда чисто в номере. Очень удобное расположение для нас- мы занимаемся подводным плаваньем, фридайвингом- отель находится в 4 минутах пешком от Fanara Beach с лучшим прибрежным рифом, на наш взгляд. Риф при отеле тоже очень интересный, видели там крупного Наполеона, и разную всячину. Но за неделю нашего пребывания доступ к понтону был часто закрыт из-за волн и ветра (красный флаг).

Не понравилось, что пляж и бассейн вечером закрываются примерно в одно и то же время около 16-17 часов. Видимо это везде так. Хотелось бы иметь возможность ещё немного поплавать в бассейне вечером, хотя бы до 18.30 до ужина. Анимация не понравилась совсем: не зажигательная, детский сад, если просто сделать вечернюю дискотеку у бассейна каждый день, было бы прекрасно. Обидно главное слышать: во всех соседних отелях грохочат вечерние концерты, а у нас какой-то пенсионерский междусобойчик в ZinZin баре.

We had a great experience — the hotel fully met our expectations. The rooms were well maintained, and although the food variety wasn’t very extensive, everything we tried was delicious. A special mention goes to the bartender Ramy at ZinZina — we got perfect cocktails only from him. Highly recommended!

We have had the pleasure of staying at hotels all over the world, and have returned to Renaissance many times because of the hospitality we have received from the wonderful staff. A standout staff member on every occasion has been Khalid, manager of Coast and La Casa - his service and that of his team is simply the best we have experienced. From the moment we arrived, Khalid made us feel incredibly welcomed and right at home. He went above and beyond to accommodate every single one of our needs, anticipating our preferences before we even had to ask. What truly impressed us was his thoughtfulness and attention to detail – he remembered every small detail from our previous trips, which made every stay feel personal and special. Kind, considerate, and endlessly attentive, Khalid embodies what exceptional service is all about. He is an absolute credit to the Marriott and without a doubt a standout manager of the hotel. If you are lucky enough to have him look after you during your stay, you are in the very best hands. We cannot wait to return!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made everything feel easy and enjoyable. A special mention to Mario, Abdulrahman, and Ahmed—the lifeguards who really went above and beyond, along with Hesham at the drinks bar, who was fantastic (a little tip definitely goes a long way 😉). Highlights - clean and well kept throughout - No1 thing - every staff is attentive and NOT overbearing - more than enough sun beds - local spirits but still does the trick and drinkable wine - food and service at Calamari restaurant for lunch and dinner Our favourite and best staff: -Ahmed Sayed, the aqua pool lifeguard. He is always happy to help, keeps the pool area spotless ! Works so hard - Moustfa at the lobby bar always serves with a smile and makes everyone feel welcome - Eslam and Mohammed at the pool bar make fantastic cocktails and keep the drinks flowing with great service and good humour. - Mohamed Mahmoud at the Calamari restaurant brought great vibes and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. He works alongside two other hard working men, Amr and These staff members truly deserve recognition for their dedication and the excellent service they provide. Their hard work and positive attitude have helped make our holiday extra special.

We had excellent service during our 8-day stay at the Renaissance. The staff were consistently very friendly and courteous. We would particularly like to praise Ramy and Kareem from the beach bar and Mohammed from the recreation team who handed out towels on the beach. They were very attentive and always in a good mood.

My experience here was splendid. I came here with wife and two fiends and we rally enjoy the strutture. Exelent food, very nice Location. With all inclusive pack you can have whatever you desire. All the staff is very efficent and polite. The guest is at the first place. Also the animation service offers a lot of fun activities all day and you can enjoy the day with a lot of fun. I went on vacation with my friends to Sharm El Sheikh, specifically to the Renaissance Hotel. I stayed there on Friday and left on Tuesday. I want to share my experience at the hotel; it was absolutely wonderful. The staff was fantastic, and the atmosphere was vibrant. One of the animators, Elisa, was especially amazing. She was so kind and helpful. In addition, Juno, the lifeguard, and Ahmed, who cleaned the rooms, and Islam, the bartender, were also fantastic. It was a truly wonderful experience, and I hope to repeat it with this beautiful hotel and its amazing team. The food was also exceptional and luxurious. The hotel was beyond amazing its was amazing vacation

And it's delicious 1 main restaurant, the staff is trying their best, they clean everything quickly They bring juices and other items even without money, but they bring them to us faster when we give them 2 dollars In Egypt, 2-10 dollars can do wonders!)) We had a wonderful six-night stay at this hotel with truly excellent customer service throughout. Special thanks to Abdelrhman at the Coast Restaurant, who took great care of us by ensuring we always had a lovely table and attentive drink service at both lunch and dinner. The food in this restaurant is excellent, lots of different choices and everything is very fresh and well cooked. On our final night at the Casa Restaurant, we enjoyed fantastic food and outstanding service—Khalid went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel genuinely looked after. Down on the beach, Mohamed was incredibly thoughtful, bringing us ice-cold water every morning. “Fire” from the animation team kept us entertained with his morning stretches and Zumba. The housekeeping team also did a fantastic job, cleaning our room daily and surprising us with beautiful flowers on the bed. We have been truly spoiled by every member of the team. An excellent hotel and a memorable stay - highly recommend this hotel.

First time in Egypt and it didn’t disappoint. For value for money I cannot complain the food was brilliant lots of variety, rooms were ok, lots of areas to sit and relax. Drinks variety was good, Italian was lovely. The pool by the beach was our favourite the bar man and pool guard were brilliant couldn’t do enough for us. So sorry I didn’t get there names I hope they’re thanked! The reason for four stars; waiters not very attentive in buffet restaurant (lots of chatting) host was rude multiple times queued to get in as the host and chefs/ waiters were chatting we were ignored. Toilets in public areas could be cleaned more often, hotel rooms needs some tlc, evening entertainment not up to standard of hotel chain, a lot of work is needed

Its first time for me in egypt and this hotel is amazing i like it and we will say for our frinds to come here every thing here is amazing food and rooms and music and beach and very nice zomba dance with fire from animation team .every thing here is clean and good thank you egypt .

The worst food, ever! Buffet was poorly set, everything had the same taste, except for their italian restaurant which needs special reservation. Watch out for marketing lines such as "ocean view" - they say you'll see the ocean but don't say how far it actually is from your window! Reception was rude and impatient. Activities team was lazy, tired and worthless to engaje guests.

Excellent stay assisted by super weather at the end of January. The resort is of a terraced design although walking is easy via steps and golf buggies regularly circle to ferry people around. 2 very large pools (one heated one not) and an attractive beach area with a jetty allowing decent coral snorkeling. Staff were very good across all hotel areas. Particular mentions to Kareem (lifeguard) and Ismail (lower pool bar) who made sure we had a wonderful stay. Do venture out of the resort - there are many excursions. Common sense top tip: ensure you understand the detail what's included and what's not...prices for seemingly the same experience can vary considerably.

The resort has good accommodations with comfortable rooms, and the beach is a positive highlight, with a well-organized structure and towels readily available. Unfortunately, the food experience was disappointing. While there are several dining options, the quality did not meet expectations, and cleanliness was a recurring issue, as we found dirty plates and coffee cups. We also tried some of the other restaurants within the resort, which were acceptable at best, but none stood out positively.

It is a highly recommended hotel, especially for families with babies. The food, animation team, and overall atmosphere are excellent, particularly in the morning and evening. There are numerous pools where both children and adults can swim comfortably. The beach offers stunning coral reefs with a wide variety of colorful fish. Of course, I cannot fail to mention the security staff, who are extremely professional and well-trained.

Last night I returned from my first trip outside of Europe, aside from the USA. The Renaissance resort has absolutely exceeded all my expectations. The rooms are large, luxurious and comfortable, with a beautiful view. Don't get me started about the beds and the linen. My bed at home just didn't feel the same anymore. The resort, rooms and facilities like the spa/sauna are clean, and everything is maintained very well. The buffet restaurant offers plenty of options, and has a lot of different menu items each day (Mexican night was the best). I love falafel, and there was plenty to be had. Expect loads of different salads, fruits, vegetable (curries), rice dishes, fish, meats, roasts, and more. The (alcoholic) drinks are good and plentiful. House reef is really pretty as well, although we had some bad luck with the wind, so it wasn't open each day. The swimming pools were nice. There's plenty to do at the resort, and it's easy to get off and explore the area. Nightlife entertainment is nearby, you can get there by foot, but there's also resort-organized trips to different parties each night. Booked two trips through the resort. First one was to the Blue Hole, which was amazing - I was almost the only one in the water. The second one we went quad-riding, where we really got to floor a quad in the desert (fun). The absolute stars of the resort are the staff. I've never had the pleasure of such a professional, friendly and involved staff on previous holidays. They take care of you extremely well and get to know you and your preferences in no-time. Special shout-out to Beshoy, our ever helpful man from reception, Mohammed, who helped us with our excursions, Sami our housekeeper, Momo from the diving center, Sam the spa-man, Ola and the rest from the animation team, the clinic doctor for helping my friend navigate an ear injury and hospital visit during the trip (and the associated insurance finances, no upfront costs, travel insurance was accepted at the hospital), and last not least, our legendary Zin Zini bartenders Rami and Mohammed. (Sorry if I messed up and forgot some names here).

I'm a regular to the reniassance, I've beem coming 20 years now. Lots of upgrades and changes mostly for the better. Rooms have all been upgraded and modernised. I highly commend mohammed amwar front desk manager as he's always on hand for any issues. Ramy for his amazing cocktails and friendly fast service. Khaled who runs the pool area, always makes sure that guests are happy. I had my birthday 🎂 cake on the beach and shared it with the guests and staff. I would say that the service was terrible in the lobby bar. I walked in and there was around 6 people in there x2 bar staff. I stood at the bar for a good 10 minutes whilst he was making a drink for someone else and he never acknowledged me and I was the only one stood there. Never asked what drink I wanted. After 10 minutes another couple walked in and he shouted over to them and took there order whilst I was still waiting to be served. Still not acknowledging me still stood there. So in the end I just walked off and never went back to the lobby bar for the rest of my stay. Such a shame. I also encountered some problems with room service. This was the only service issues I encountered. The staff in la casa and the chef are probably the best staff I've had the pleasure of seeing. Always on hand to help, most the time the staff remember the drinks order from the previous times ive been in which was nice. The chef even came around to me after I had eaten to see how the meal was, this was a joy to see as it's shows that the guests are important and takes on board comments and feedback the cleaners do a fantastic job of my room extremely clean and organised my toiletries which was sweet . I did tip them half way through my holiday and at the end as they work extremely hard. Do not use the taxis outside the hotel, charge a fortune. Overall I had such an amazing stay that I'm bringing my father again in may 2026. He wont chose a different hotel other than this one in sharm. Thanks for everything and see you all soon.
