Friendly staff and pretty helpful. They try the best to help you. Pretty professional. Good food at breakfast.

Initial rooms(group travel) that they gave us had mold in the bathroom on the sealing. That was the biggest thing that found in the room. I ask for rooms to be changed. New rooms also were not very clean, found hair and dust around the room, but no mold. Small damages around balcony door at handle they said after summer season will be fixed. Visible small patches of cracks in the sealing or walls you can see different shades of white paint. At the stage we visited i would say more 3.5 stars. In the past I was sitting in 3 stars hotel in Thailand and they had better condition, but I start to believe that Spanish 4 stars is more equal with a rest of Europe/Asia 3 stars. Another thing but this will be more of a personal preference the pillows are very bad. You sink into them and weak up with headache

We was impressed with the sauna and steam room hoover water in sauna was never topped up and being able to purchase the beach beds from the hotel.

This hotel was a let down it was being advertised as a queen bed but it was two single matress pushed together. It became uncomfortable through the week. Further more the balcony didnt have any privacy from the neighbouring rooms. The balcony had slats on each side with gaps between, so it felt a bit awkward/uncomfortable at times. The room was in direct site of the other people if they was using the balcony. Lastly when we entered into the room there was a drainage smell coming from the shower .

Great location only 5 minutes from bus terminal and beach and bars. Can't fault and would stay again.

Would be nice to have an indoor bar than the pool bar for a night cap. But otherwise everything was great.

Fantastic location, minitues from the beach and restaurants and bars but the hotel was set in a lovely quite street A generous sized rooms with a very comfortable bed and huge bathroom. All round a great hotel at a great price.

Pool wasn't the biggest and some days there weren't enough sunbeds.

Perfect location. Facilities are excellent. Staff helpful and what they didn't know, they would find out. Rooms are spacious and beds are so big and comfortable. Shower is exceptional. We had a wrap around .balcony and although the views are not the best, you are literally 50 metres from the beach. This is my 2nd stay at Magnolia and will definitely return.

personeel is altijd vriendelijk en behulpzaam. nadat we klacht hadden ingediend over stankoverlast van de riolering, hebben ze direct hun best gedaan om op te lossen. Helaas bleef de geur wel sluimerend hangen, met name als de airco niet aanstond. in de koelkast/minifridge stond flesje gekoeld water klaar bij aankomst. de sauna en het water van de whirlpool werden dagelijks gecontroleerd. De gym wordt dagelijks schoongemaakt. fijne zwembad en lounge. niet te groot, maar is ook niet nodig, want het strand is op loop afstand.

tijdens dag 4/7 kwamen we erachter dat we een droge kriebel hoest kregen, wanneer de airco aanstond. dit resulteerde in geen goede nachtrust. Dilemma was of airco uitzetten en geen last van stankoverlast, maar wel erg warm in de kamer en niet goed kunnen slapen of de airco aanzetten, geen last van de stank van de riolering , maar wel aangenaam temperatuur in de kamer, maar last van kriebel hoest en hierdoor niet uitgerust wakker worden door constant hoesten. voor een 4 sterren hotel had ik wel koffie of thee facilieiten verwacht op de kamer en dagelijks een flesje water, maar dit was helaas niet het geval.

Le confort des lits, le silence, la piscine ouverte 24h/24 avec son bar/tapas jusqu'à minuit et le spa. Douche très spacieuse ! Personnel extrêmement aimable, à l'écoute et réactif. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et les choix varient de jour en jour. La plage est juste en face, ainsi que tous les restaurants et magasins à proximité.

La propreté : moisissures et cheveux sur le mur de la douche, ainsi que des cheveux en abondance par terre dans la chambre. Éclaboussures fécales sur le mur blanc des toilettes (à proximité de celles-ci). Nous n'avons peut-être pas eu de chance avec le ménage de cette chambre, ce qui est fort dommage. Cela dit, les lits étaient parfaitement propre.

Superior room was spot on. Massive walk in shower, king size bed with sofa and large balcony. The location is very good 2min walk to the beach and restraunts. The spa was good, steam room, sauna and & jacuzzi.

If you want to be picky, the gym was very basic and no air con in the gym. The pool bar has no draught beer only bottles. The pool area was too quiet for my liking, some loader music would give it a better atmosphere.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was also excellent, making it easy to get around. We especially appreciated that the hotel is adult-friendly and has a peaceful atmosphere.

Unfortunately, there were also some disappointing aspects. There was a very unpleasant smell in the toilet, and we also found a cockroach in the room, which was particularly unpleasant. The glasses in the room were not washed or replaced during our stay. We also did not receive any coffee, even though we deliberately left the small drawer under the coffee machine pulled out, so that it would be clear that we needed a refill.

Le personnel très sympathique. Surtout au petit déjeuner, toujours très souriant. La proximité de la plage. La piscine, le bar. La surface de la chambre et l immense douche ! Le service de prêt de serviettes pour la piscine.

Une forte odeur d égout remontait dans la salle de bain. Signalée, mais l'odeur revenait...j ai du acheter quelque chose pour essayer de masquer l'odeur mais sans grand succès.. La propreté a améliorer. Une couette pleine de tâches jaunes et de sang.. Bref un hôtel a rafraichir aussi bien dedans ( tâches sur les murs de chambres et dans les couloirs ) ainsi qu a l extérieur. Terrasse piscine en bois mais plusieures lames cassées. C est vraiment dommage car le personnel est vraiment adorable.

Entorno super tranquilo, para relajarte al 100%. Los clientes son en su mayoría parejas que quieren relajarse y ni en la piscina (que abre 24h) se escucha ningún ruido apenas.

The hotel is located 2 minutes from the beach, supermarkets and a short walk to many restaurants and bars. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel facilities were very good, rooms lovely, clean and spacious, beds very comfortable. Nice pool with sun loungers in great condition and a pool bar with drinks at a reasonable price. Room very clean with a fridge for cooling drinks.

Coffee wasn’t replaced daily although a pod system coffee maker was provided. No kettle to make tea or alternative hot drink. Paper, environmental cups for hot drinks in room instead of proper cups?

Central location, eateries and bars nr by and beach. Hotel rates for beach beds and brolly. Big room, well set out and the most amazing bathroom with a massive shower! Staff lovely, especially the man on reception on the night shift. Such a lovely man, always a conversation to be had, the hotel are lucky to have him look after the guests with such care. Breakfast, always a good selection of food, 6 different kinds of milk and juices. Even had Prosecco. Recommendations from staff with places to go and eateries were very helpful. To activate the air con the button is on top right of the box.

Smell from the shower at times was quite grim. Typical of Spain I know but smelly drains inside your room isn’t great. This didn’t affect our stay too much as it went within five mins.

We were really disappointed with our stay here. The room itself was fine on the surface, but from very early on we were hit with a strong, sewage-like smell coming from the shower drain that made the whole room unpleasant to be in. We reported it to reception, and staff did put some drain fluid down the drain to try to treat it. It made absolutely no difference every single evening when we came back to the room, the smell had returned just as strong as before. This went on for the rest of our stay and nothing was properly fixed. It’s genuinely hard to relax and enjoy a holiday when your room smells like sewage every night. For a hotel at this price point, we expected much better. We will not be staying here again, and I’d think twice before booking based on our experience.

Super comfortable room much larger than anything I’ve experienced in Spain – also huge shower and a nice deck. Breakfast was awesome and the pool area was a welcome surprise - one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Spain for a restful relaxing stay!

Absència del català i falta de silenci per part de cert tipus de clients a la zona de piscina, i que hotel no va parar.

Eigenlijk niet zoveel. Voor 2 dagen geboekt met als voorziening gratis parkeren. Dit was dus niet zo. 20 euro extra per dag. Wil je het kluisje op je kamer activeren, gaat dit niet. Dit kost ook nog eens 5 euro per dag. Kom je terug van het strand, je kamer is dan wel schoongemaakt, echter niets aangevuld. Koffie, thee niet aangevuld en tevens de badkamer artikelen niet. Kortom…. voor ons nooit meer.

Estuvimos dos noches alojados. Cuando vuelvo por la tarde luego de que hagan la limpieza, veo que faltaban cosas de mi mesa de noche. Me acerco a recepción a preguntar, donde me atiende una chica que hablaba un español bastante flojo. Me dice que va a preguntar y que al otro día me decía si sabía algo sobre las cosas “perdidas”. Al otro día, el día del check out, vuelvo a preguntar en recepción, donde me atiende un chico que si la primera chica hablaba español flojo, este caso no lo hablaba (estando en un hotel en España) le pregunto y me dice que le dijeron “que no había nada en la habitación”. Llama no sé si a alguien del personal de limpieza o que, para terminar diciéndome que “no había nada en la habitación” y ante mi pregunta de “que hago entonces” porque tuve que gastar dinero para reponer lo que faltaba, me dice que no sabe, y que no se podía hacer cargo de las cosas que faltaban. Otro punto fue la limpieza de la habitación. El lavabo tapado, pelusas en el piso… la cama con unas sábanas un poco dudosas. Teníamos dos camas, una con edredon y la otra no, porque al parecer en una habitación doble solo una persona puede tener frío/calor… En fin, me fui con un sabor bastante amargo de este hotel, si la respuesta del personal hubiera sido otra, estoy segura que mi experiencia no hubiera sido tan mala. Pero lamentablemente no fue así

I've been to this hotel many times previously and always enjoyed my time. The staff are always helpful, accommodating and friendly. The location is perfect.

This time round there seemed ro be issues with the WiFi, it would connect then drop constantly. It wasn't the end of the world but frustrating.

Very basic. The alleged superior room we paid for was very basic and not very well maintained. Certainly not worth the money. It supposed to be part of the Blaumar group Salou it felt like the Poor man relative. Certainly will NOT return.

The bedroom was gorgeous and the balcony got sun in the evening. Pool area was nice but the bar was not open. The location was perfect.

Very spacious rooms, clean, located in the center of town close to restaurants, bars, the beach. Good breakfast. The restaurant is located in another hotel nearby. Swimming pool was closed when we visited (March/April). The parking spots are just a few and since you cannot reserve them, you may have a problem to get one.

The very first encounter with the receptionist was very unpleasant. She was pretty rude. Rushed with the check in, made some unpleasant comments and rolled her eyes. However, all other staff members (the male receptionist in particular) were very helpful and polite. So the stay was very pleasant. Mind you, the bathroom in our double room offered almost no privacy. The door to the toilet didn't really close and the shower is right in the entrance with no door to the actual bathroom. So it's not for everyone. You need to pay additional fee if you want to use the safe.
