Booked a double bed on arrival given my key and when to my room it was 2 single beds asked if they could swap and was told no When I went back to my room searched that hotel for double beds 2 available when I booked there was 3 . This is the 2nd time the same night man as done this to me .

I never got to stay because the accessible facilities were not very accessible.

I spent a couple of nights there on business, the stay was very pleasant. The room was clean and adequately equipped and quiet, the staff were very friendly, and I need to praise the reception customer service, which was always very polite and ready to help.

The family room size. It is too hot as well. Was expecting 2 single bed and 1 double bed. The fan was dusty. The breakfast was good.

The heat in the rooms. Myself, husband and 8yr old had a really bad night die to lack of air circulation and how hot the rooms was. Window was open as far as possible and fan was on. Still way too hot.

All day and night staff were amazing; clean family room + sofa bed for our 9-year-old. Great to have a soft play place just along the same road. Lovely place. Breakfast staff quietly cleaned around the guests, so it always looked stocked and orderly and clean, nothing ran out. Good parking and Wifi. It was a working family weekend for us, so we were really tired, but the staff helped us out with full commitment. THANK YOU ALL.

Great! Nothing bad to say. Blue light card rate, lovely and clean hotel, nice friendly helpful staff, a nice breakfast in the morning, comfortable bed and close to local attractions like Cliff Lakes and Drayton Manor, a good base.

Friendly check in Staff . Helped us with request for room on ground floor near Reception. Room was clean and as you expected from IHG , functional but attractive and roomy .Breakfast was buffet style with good choice . Parking was available at no extra cost and had no problems finding a space . Returning in August for 2 nights.

Rooms not air conditioned and were very hot during the heatwave. Biggest disappointment was the evening meal menu, thought it was a very limited choice menu and the portions were small and presentation wasn’t particularly appealing. This would perhaps explain why few people chose to dine there

What a fantastic hotel this is! I travelled with colleagues and students who were attending the Worldskills competition nearby and we absolutely loved our stay here. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way for you if needed. Breakfast is fab! The rooms are spotless and beds soo comfy. This is our second stay here and if we are lucky enough to make the next competition we will be definitely be booking this hotel again. Well done to all the amazing staff.

They weren’t enough staff on duty for a busy weekend. Breakfast was so busy, however the staff that were there were doing an amazing job coping with the business.

Room was excellent, bathroom well equipped and excellent shower. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice both hot & cold foods. Liked the "Grab & Go" bag idea. We never used it but excellent idea.

Room was a little hot, however it was hot externally and a fan was provided. Having said the bed was comfortable my wife has hip problems and she felt the bed was a bit hard.

My wheelchair wouldn’t fit round the bed. The desk was in the way.

No air conditioning. Breakfast is basic. Needed to checkout at Noon but unhelpful and arrogant front desk refused, telling me housekeeping will be knocking the door shortly, despite the hotel was not fully booked for next day. Next time will just not ask and stay until they knock the door.

Didn't provide the twin beds we asked for and staff admitted they never check the details on booking.com requests so 2 adults had no choice but to share a double bed. No exchange possible. Very noisy at night as bedroom overlooked a very busy road, no soundproofing. Bed springs were prominent on RHS of the bed, bedside light bulb didn't work. Breakfast was very poor, items had run out & weren't being replaced, tables were dirty, piles of dirty plates etc and barely anything for vegetarians. Staff were disinterested. Guests ended up eating in the reception area on the sofas because there was nowhere to sit. Still awaiting a response from the hotel as I raised a complaint 6 weeks ago and have followed up, but still nothing. What had been a birthday celebration night away (attending a concert nearby) ended up being possibly the worst hotel stay we've experienced.

Normally a little wary of booking a Holiday inn because of some poor experiences in the past in older hotels. This was in a good location and easily accessible from the M6. Room was a good size, it was very warm and the room only had a fan, no AC. Hotel chains need to start to build including AC as the UK continues to have warmer summers. Buffet breakfast was tasty and convenient. What really stood out was how great the staff on duty, friendly an really helpful.

We were impressed with all the facilities on offer. My wife found the bed a little to firm for her likeness, but this was a minor issue for a short stay.

The rooms were quiet hot and would have benefitted from air con. However the staff did provide us with a fan on request which improved the situation.

The rooms were very hot and uncomfortable we had a fan but it just didn’t cool the room down just moved the warm air around. We kept curtains and window close to no effect.

Booked for an overnight before travelling on to Birmingham Airport. Nice clean hotel with plenty of free parking. Spacious room with everything you need. Handy to have 2 pubs within walking distance, we went to the Griff House (Beefeater) for dinner. Good breakfast at Holiday inn, staff always cleaning area and restocking etc. It was busy as there was a gaming event on at NEC but we came down early and had plenty of time for a leisurely breakfast. Provided with a fan which was needed as no air con and room was hot. Would stay again 👍🏻

Arrived quick check in lovely person on checkin. Rooms lovely and clean. bedside light not working came within 5 minutes to sort it . Came back to hotel at 11.30 had drinks in bar 2 lovely lads on shift accommodated us by moving seats around so our large group could sit together . Up to bed at 1.30am in to a comfy bed slept well. Breakfast which is included in our very cheap price room. Hot food hot . Nothing too much for staff "helen" when milk ran out in coffee machine and cereal area. Tabled cleaned as soon as finished so no dirty plates ect left on tables . Thank from Sheila and Sue x

Very nice hotel, room was fine, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Hotel is a short walk from a railway station and it is a short journey to Coventry Arena and the city centre.

We were able to check in early. Breakfast was good, plentiful, and was replenished regularly, although not a luxury breakfast. The location was excellent for a concert at the arena with the option of train, bus, or Uber.

The staff were exceptional and very attentive, friendly, and personable. The hotel was clean and smelt beautiful! Our room was more than adequate with iron and board, hairdryer, coffee/tea making facilities, and lush-smelling toiletries. Breakfast was great and well stocked for all but I'd have liked hot chocolate as a hot drink choice but can't score down for that really! Car parking was aplenty and EV points nearby.

My meal in evening was returned as the chicken was not cooked. Staff gave me replacement On our return later that night the 24 hour bar/cafe was not able to provide a hot drink as the machine was being cleaned. The bar staff told me it would be hours and was told I could make it myself in my room! We wanted as a group to have it downstairs!!

Modern and well-maintained hotel with comfortable rooms. The bed was comfortable and ensured a good night’s sleep. The staff were courteous and extremely helpful throughout the stay. The breakfast was varied and of good quality, with a wide selection of both sweet and savoury options.

As is often the case in hotels outside Italy, I missed having a bidet in the bathroom. I would also have appreciated the availability of a toilet brush.

The room was very clean, comfortable and tidy. We were offered a fan for the room which we accepted as it was hot weather. Staff were helpful, friendly but professional. Breakfast was a good selection of everything we could have needed. We have stayed here before and would definitely stay again.

I coud not sleep the first night so rested in the bar area. However I had to return to the room later as the bar staff had to close up. I understand this but it would have been nice to stay in the bar area for longer if I needed to.

Greeted at the hotel by William who shared recommendations on where to go, and was very polite and professional. Once at the room I found it a little hot, but went back to reception where Munya gave me a fan for the room. Munya was funny, as we bantered with football. The room itself was very nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable.

I stay here regularly for work. The staff really make this hotel. The staff are so friendly. The lads that work there are always friendly. Rooms are a good size. Breakfast staff are always chatty and polite. This is without a shadow of a doubt, one of the best Holiday Inn express that I have ever stayed in. Thank you too all the staff. Fantastic place. Highly recommend.

We had a very enjoyable two nights at the Nuneaton Holiday Inn Express. The room we had was very clean and modern. The breakfast was amazing - and the staff were all so professional and helpful. One particular staff member who stood out to us was Helen, at the front desk. She helped us to secure transportation to the Coventry Building Society stadium - and she remembered everything the next day and asked all about how we’d enjoyed ourselves. Helen is a true standout professional.
