The outside of the hotel is cute!

The bottom floor could have been better. The room was a bit musty and the soap dispenser was empty. Our family staying on the third floor had a a pleasant experience though!

it was clean and not bad for the price. The breakfast was good plenty of choice. Easy to park and great to have a restaurant on site.

Bed a little hard and the bathroom was compact

Being woken up at 1.30am by a drunk hotel guest banging on my ground floor window f’ing and blinding to let him in. Needless to say, I ignored him and left the night porter to deal with him. In fairness, the hotel manager gave me a free breakfast the following morning, accompanied by a profound apology.

Staff were helpful and polite, rooms were very clean and had everything needed.

Due to the restaurant being busy we were advised to find somewhere in the bar area, after getting our food the tv volume was turned up to max level for a football game and unfortunately we were by the speakers as well, so loud couldn’t even hear ourselves think let alone have an actual conversation. Understand football is on however there were probably 10 people there watching it so not sure why needed to be that loud and unable to turn down.

You can hear EVERYTHING in the neighbouring room. Like, their conversation as if they were sat next to you. Means you can’t have work or confidential meetings and conversations in your own room and any children crying will keep you awake all night.

Decor a bit dated and dog eared...shower not draining properly...noisy in the night due to a refrigerated container right outside the window, kept me awake Breakfast - where to start? Thought I'd booked inclusive but on arrival was informed it was room only...could have been my mistake so fair enough. Had continental breakfast on one morning as a friend was also staying...it's a bit stuck in the 70s isn't it? No muesli, no natural yogurt...the fire was lit although the weather is still pretty warm! I knew this pub in the 70s and in my opinion it has been completely ruined by being gutted inside. There isn't much atmosphere in spite of a few nice photos of 'old Nuneaton'. The menu is very meat based (I know it's a 'grill') and not to my taste so I wouldn't recommend for an evening meal, there are better places nearby.

Location perfect for my needs, plenty parking and quiet location and friendly staff.

Sat Nav co-ordinates on Booking.com confirmation were wildly wrong and the member of staff at booking in said this was known! A frustrating start after a long drive. There was a mobile refrigeration unit parked outside the ground floor bedroom windows which switched on and off continuously through the night disturbing our sleep. We commented on checking out and were told “it was in the process of being moved after a freezer failure”! Too late for us I’m afraid. Food was typical Greene King ‘fast food’, Ronnie Mac standard NOT a decent Hotel Dining experience.

Inter-connecting doors to other rooms do not insulate noise very well. We could hear every single noise from next door as guests stayed up until 3am drinking/chatting/playing music.

Never had breakfast .. wasn't included. No one at reception but went into bar to sort. Room was good ... view was of the carpark but that was ok. Overall very happy 😊

Good sized, clean room, with comfortable bed, ensuite and all usual facilities. Large bar downstairs where The Green king menu was available- the food was varied and good value. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking spaces.

, We were quite disappointed with the breakfast service. It was set up in a side room off the bar -we were unable to make a cup of tea as the water in the urn didn't heat up to boiling point and it was impossible to fit the teapot under the tap to fill.. We did inform the lady on duty so hopefully this will be rectified. The toaster took a long time to colour the bread The cooked breakfast was adequate but luke warm.

Room was clean, a small fan was available in the room which helped a little bit with the hot weather we are currently experiencing. Breakfast was good with average choices.

Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice, and meals were available all day. Good value for money. Room had mostly what we needed. Bed was comfortable. Shower was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Would have liked some drawers to put e.g. socks and underwear in - there were no drawers at all. Bedside light only on one side of the bed.Would have liked bottled water provided, especially as it was hot. Only one chair provided, would have liked two.

The Chaae is excellent value for money for a local hotel. The rooms are well maintained and clean. The beds very comfortable and the rooms are well equipped, i.e ironing board and hairdryer. Above all the staff couldn't be more helpful. They really care and all appear to love their jobs working at The Chase. That really stood out to us.

Unfortunately they don't have family rooms.

Pub hotel kinda feel

One of the bar staff told me breakfast wasn't available, but the app said differently. I got what I wanted.

Our room I think was over the kitchen so had noise at night from dishwasher etc and also throwing things in the bin outside. Not too much of a problem for me but I can imagine those who winge and moan about everything would have something to say.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel/pub was in a good location. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean.

The pillows were a bit hard for our liking but that's just personal taste, they might have been perfect for someone else. Room was really hot but they did put a fan in there, so that helped a lot. So neither are what we didnt like its just preference.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and served in a lovely dining room.

We arrived in the middle of the heat wave in June. There was no air conditioning, but they thankfullly provided a fan. The room was very warm, but we were tired from travelling and managed to get a good night's sleep.

There was a bell to alert staff that there was someone at the reception desk, but no one appeared when we rang it (Several times) - we had to go looking for someone. No no apology given for this.

The menu is based on fast food items found in every pub/hotel these days. Although it seems to work there doesn't appear to be any one in overall charge of the premises, only duty managers which make things a little impersonal.

Staff were very accommodating, allowing us to book in early as we had a funeral.

Lovely room that had lots of space! Nice and light and the bed was comfortable. It was extremely hot outside when we stayed so the rooms were warm but we had a fan which was brilliant! The staff were absolutely lovely, the breakfast was great too. More than everything you need and it was cooked to order. Lots of parking and the pub is really lively and does great, reasonably priced food!

We thought our booking included breakfast, but the hotel was very quick to say that it didn’t and ask for payment as we left the breakfast room. There was also a musty smell in the corridors leading to the rooms.

Nice hotel just away from the town centre in a quiet tree lined area. The gardens were well kept and lovely and the staff and service both in reception and the bar/restaurant area was really good. The room was clean and tidy with comfortable beds. As it was very hot when we visited (no fault of the hotel), the room was very warm but a fan was supplied which helped and the bar/restaurant area was beautifully cool with great air conditioning.

Good location, close to town with good bus service. The bar area was spacious and wonderfully air conditioned during the late June heat wave.

Unfortunately my room was not air conditioned and had no way of achieving an adequate air supply for keeping cool. An electric fan was provided but all it achieved was to move the hot air around, like a hairdryer. Not a lot of sleep was achieved in those conditions.

The room and bed were very comfortable. The breakfast was good. Melanie the manager was great, very helful and accommodating. The hotel bar and restauarant were comfortable and the staff were freindly.

I booked a table for dinner at the same time I booked the rooms and checked on these two weeks before arrival. In the evening, we were due to eat, we were offered a table that was only suitable for two people, not three. We were then moved to a dining room with no air conditioning.

It’s ideal for our needs close to family members added bonus it has a very good restaurant that is good value for money has ample parking.

Never anyone on reception walls are paper thin we could hear every word spoken in the next room and were woken up every night and morning by other guests, who were going about there business in a normal manner

Breakfast,lots to choose from and cooked breakfast if wanted. Also restaurant food very good have eaten there a lot in the past but not this stay..Thankyou for great stay.

Check in was very smooth the young man was very helpful sorting out our stay . The room was clean a nice size had everything we needed . The bed was amazingly comfortable firm crisp clean . I came home wanting a new bed it was that good . Breakfast was plentiful I do like my home made full English I feel the bacon and sausage is not how I like them when we eat out but this was really lovely the sausage was just right the bacon was well done just how I like it . The plates where a little large which give the breakfast as if it was smaller than it was , toast , fruit , cereals and pasterise where available really nice highly recommend . Will definitely return when in the area really great staff made our stay really welcoming

Full English breakfast was tasty enough, and well cooked but the breakfast room was woefully inadequately staffed so we had to wait an eternity for our order to be taken. Tables not cleared and the buffer bar not replenished unless items requested. Such a pity and a complete contrast to the outstanding service in the adjoining restaurant for our evening meal

Breakfast service or lack of coffee at breakfast foul having to go to waiters twice to ask to order breakfast no sense of urgency just sat on a laptop.it wasn't even busy very dissapointing.

The property was good. Food in the bar was great. Room clean but was put off a little by the presence of a big collector on the floor in the room…. Slept well :-)

Breakfast was a bit of a mare tbh. Went down at 9am so half way through breakfast sitting. On arrival there was coffee but no mugs. No bread for toast. No juice but glasses. Replacement items did arrive eventually but slow service as only one lady serving with support occasionally from one gentleman. Order full English breakfast from menu but when it eventually arrived we were advised to make own toast. Again no bread so had to wait for it to arrive and by then there was a queue… Should say on menus to prepare own toast for food but it did says toast with the other breakfast items for our selections but not that you had to get it yourself. Food was good though just not clear that you had to get own toast and service/stock was a tad slow.
