The bedroom was amazing with an insane sea view. It is a special place where you can enjoy sunsets and disconnect. Also the outside bathroom was a great experience. A la carte breakfast was very good.

The beach and the pool were not accessible and our arrival at the reception was very slow and quite uncomfortable. The offer for dinner is very limited.

Rustic and a real feel of the island Villas and rooms are very spacious and comfortable

Feels a little dated despite renovations - minibar and outlets could be updated

Everything was excellent - the rooms, the facilities and the staff - Prakash, Joberta, Dhanjit and the chef were all very helpful and nice.

If there is something to complain about - maybe some of the staff were a bit rude, especially those working in the restaurant. However, this is me nitpicking at best.

The location is beautiful. It’s is nicely remote and yet the resort makes travel to MAHE EASY. THE STAFF IS ECEPTIONAL AND FRIENDLY

Das Resort war ein kleines bzw. großes Highlight auf unserer Reise. Wir haben unser Häuschen sehr geliebt, besonders den schönen großen Balkon - wie auf einem Baumhaus. Die Angestellten sind ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit.Die Häuschen sind sehr sauber und es wurden jeden Tag Handtücher und Bettwäsche gewechselt. Hinter dem kleinen Berg ist der Handymast, insofern hat man eine gute LTE Anbindung und in der Nähe von Rezeption Restaurant WLAN. Kanuverleih für umsonst und tolle Angebote für Schnorchelausflüge und mehr. Entspannte Atmosphäre und ein fischreiches Riff direkt vor der Haustür, dass ganz um die Insel geht. Jederzeit wieder.

Piękne duże drewniane wille z ogromną łazienką pod gołym niebem, położone w rozległym zadbanym tropikalnym lesie, rozmieszczone tak, by zapewnić prywatność. Bardzo miły i pomocny personel recepcji, wygodny transport łódką z Mahé, mały ale czysty i przyjemny basen nad morzem.

Kuchnia nie olśniewa. Sok z kartonu, sałatka z tuńczyka z puszki, ryba „barbecue” faktycznie duszona w białym sosie, podana bez sałatki, słaba kawa na śniadanie. Brak alternatywy, bo jesteś na małej wysepce i trzeba płynąć na Mahe, żeby zjeść dobrą kreolską kolację, co zrobiliśmy kolejnego wieczoru. Ponadto zapomnij o seszelskiej plaży jak z foldera - ta przy hotelu jest mała i zaśmiecona.

Liked the room, the view, the walks and everything.

The response time taken by the staff was a bit time consuming.

Bezauberndes, kleines Resort, dessen wunderschöne, sehr gepflegte Bungalows harmonisch in den bestehenden Wald eingefügt wurden. Die Villas sind ausserordentlich sauber und sehr geschmackvoll und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das Personal, allen voran Prakash Singh, ist ständig bemüht, einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen abzulesen. Die ungekünstelte Freundlichkeit, die Hilfsbereitschaft und das warmherzige Ambiente tragen dazu bei, dass man sich hier sofort zu Hause fühlt. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Wundervolle Lage der Bungalows inmitten des grünen Walds auf einer nahezu einsamen Insel.

Kommunikation mit dem Service Personal dürfte etwas effizienter sein.

Le bain à remous dans la chambre ne fonctionnait pas. Dommage au vu du prix payé.

Un endroit paradisiaque avec un personnel aux petits soins. Les logements sont spacieux, propres et très bien équipés. Sur place possibilités de faire divers activités ( spa, kayak, paddle, tennis,...). La carte du restaurant est diversifiée avec des tarifs très raisonnables. Le petit déjeuner est super !

The nature

Very warming and welcoming staff. The suite we got ('Takamaka' suite) was amazing, with balcony view of the woods and the sea. Breakfast buffet was reach, and the restaurant inside the resort had very good dinners for reasonable price. The two swimming pools are lovely. The staff at the reception helped us with snorkeling and kayak activities that can be done in the beach surrounding the resort.

Séjour de 3 nuits en couple. Très bel établissement dans une belle végétation. Villa en bois de style coloniale, restaurant en bois ouvert sur l’océan. Bonne restauration, personnel très sympathique particulièrement Mme Valérie a l’accueil. Prêt de canoë bien pratique pour visiter le Parc marin. Aucun sentier pour se promener. Points négatifs : accès à la villa par une montée très très raide et les voiturettes étaient en panne. Baignoire balneo qui ne fonctionnait pas dans aucune chambre car changement d’installation mais la clientèle n’est pas prévenue. Et enfin et surtout une vue HORRIBLE sur la zone industrielle PROVIDENCE avec d’énormes cheminées crachant de la fumée en permanence et selon le vent une odeur désagréable. Quel dommage !!! Je ne comprends pas que personne n’en est jamais parlé dans les avis.

The villa offered the unique experience of an open-air shower beneath the sky. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to rent a kayak free of charge, which allowed us to visit the nearby sandbank. The view from the helipad was truly breathtaking, both at sunset and in broad daylight.

Overall the food was good, only the pizza and pasta were below european standards.

The giant tortoises should have a much bigger area to live in. Beaches are small and lots of seaweed. Not a lot they can do about that but may be relevant to other guests. Could do with more exercise facilities.

Beautiful hotel with great facilities; two infinity pools, superb villas with outdoors showers (book the villas!), golf buggy service, and great bar. The staff is extremely nice, welcoming and helpful, and very responsive. Breakfast will keep you fed for the whole day until dinner, which is great considering the lack of food options on the island. Bonus point for the free kayak and snorkelling equipment.

Consistent with other comments here, the quality of the food is below expectations for a 4-star hotel (for example, our fruit salad for dessert was frozen, poached eggs were too cooked, and the pana cotta was half liquid). The ‘beach’ is also underwhelming (basically none at high tide), but the hotel made up for it with a nice sandy deck by the water with lounge chairs.

Nice location off the mainland, has a jungle, the small infinity pool is nice. Recommend the trip to Moyenne island.

Food was the worst we’ve had. It was actually shocking - one soup was so salty we couldn’t have more than one bite. They asked us why we didn’t finish it and when we politely mentioned it was salty the response was a sarcastic ‘well it can’t be to everyone’s taste’. They even managed to ruin pasta and pesto, which was bland and overcooked with the pasta stuck together. They only have one restaurant and you get the impression they’re taking advantage of people not being able to eat anywhere else. The fact we spent so much money to have inedible or, at best, average meals and rude customer service ruined our experience, which was a huge shame. There are a lot of attempts to sell you more things, e.g. WiFi in the room, drinks at dinner, massages etc and if you decline you’re made to feel like you’re cheap. In a 4 star resort at this price, WiFi should be included - even hostels have free WiFi. Once we asked if room service could not leave our bathroom door open when they finish cleaning as it was letting mosquitos in, but after that they left the veranda door open every day and stopped making our bed properly. It just felt like they have a vendetta if you ever ask for or decline anything. Loud and polluting construction works also ruined one pool and the beach so you could only sit by the small pool. The resort itself has a whole floor with a bar and snooker table etc that has just been left to gather dust next to the main pool; it’s an eyesore and makes you wonder how well they’re doing financially (which might explain some of the above issues). Honestly, it’s an overpriced 3 star masquerading as a 4 star with terrible food. Do not recommend, especially not for more than 2 nights.

The island is beautiful. Some of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nicely located to other islands for snorkeling and kayaking Some of the staff - Prakash , Ryan and Warren were amazing and really helpful.

We weren't aware that the roads pathways in the resort were so steep and needed to take the golf cart up and down to our room which wasn't ideal but at least they had that to offer. Some of the staff were not very friendly

Cerf Island Resort is a precious relax corner among the other amenities of the Seychelles. Beside the beautiful location, situated into the jungle, the staff has been incredibly kind and helpful since the moment of the reservation, until even after our departure (we forgot the ipad on the room and they brought it to us at the airport, at night!!!). A special thank to the receptionist Bhargav who has been so helpful, nice and friendly to us. We can't wait to return!!

I enjoy walking and climbing but if you need to avoid stairs, request lower accommodation closer to the common area buildings

Stunning property with beautiful views. Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. All employees were very nice and polite.

1) The staff is super friendly and always willing to help and solve any issues which you might come across with. 2) Breakfast: Excellent, really complete. 3) Dinner: Excellent, my congratulations to the chef.

The price could be improved, even if the hotel is wonderful and really well maintained, the prices for the room I got seemed a bit high for a short stay.

A beautiful resort, but we had difficulty walking because it is on a mountain and we always had to go up and down to the restaurant and reception. The villas are large and beautiful, made from wood, but few of them overlook the sea and most of them overlook the garden.

The restaurant is not diverse, has few options, and has no nightlife, and the spa is modest. The place is suitable for relaxation, but the options are limited

The resort is beautiful. And the bungalows are super nice. We enjoyed the pools and mostly the spa! The two ladies working in the spa give a very professional and relaxing massage.

We felt like the resort needs better guidance. Staff seemed a bit inexperienced. And the food is … a good effort.

Fabulous quiet and secluded location with great snorkelling and beautiful infinity pool and beach, yet very close to the airport so very easy to get to. Lovely secluded villa in the rainforest with outdoor shower. Great service including golf buggy rides to the villas at any time, invisible housekeeping, very helpful and immediately responsive reception staff, great boat taxi and some very friendly waiters. Limited phone and Wi-Fi coverage actually turned out to be a blessing rather than a pain. We all talked and read a lot more and slept much better as a result, but the Wi-Fi was there at the beach and pool near reception for when we needed it.

As everywhere in the Seychelles the trips were very expensive. The food was much better than we expected from other reviews, some of the meals were very good, but some were just ok. I would have loved some of the local curries but these rarely seemed to be on the dinner menu.

The rooms are beautiful and the place is very calm. The staff was very nice and friendly for the most part. There are paddle boards and kayaks you can borrow for free. We also had great massages. We had a great time!

One of the paddles for paddle boarding was a bit broken, and my husband had to use the kayak paddles which kinda worked. Food is alright, average, but better than I expected reading some of the reviews.

The staff was absolutely awesome, very nice. The island is gorgeous and really beautiful. We felt like on a deserted island which was perfect!

Wi-fi for 10€ a day in this quality was a little bit frustrating. And the cuisine was strange. It wasnt like we are not used to it, it was sometimes really badly cooked...

The location, island, staff and services were superb. We felt the very personal and approachable service and loved our stay there and that we got to know the staff members a bit. The tours we were able to book were amazing too and it was all so smooth and uncomplicated. Everyone was extremely friendly and made us feel special. The villa was great too.

There's only wifi in the reception area, and the water in the shower could have been a bit hotter (probably warm enough for most people though, especially during hotter and peak travelling times)

The best place.for realxing and chilling.. beautiful location..scenic beauty.. the staffs..especially Prakash ..very good treatment and made us very comfortable..very flexible . also have to mention.about Suri..the. Balanese massage lady..too good..only what was lacking was WIFI ..which was only available.at the lobby not in the rooms.and regarding the food options are not.much but yes the Indian Chef Vikarm.Singh was kind enough to.cater to our taste....would love to.come.back to.Cerf sland...

A fantastic resort to get away from it all for a few days. We loved the pools, snorkeling and borrowing the kayak. The rooms were exceptional and staff all very welcoming and helpful.

Restaurant should have a wider variety of options. Breakfast was poor for a 4 stars.

The staff are friendly. The mattess is very good and the spa was very comfortable. Pizza and breakfast are good and the dinner is acceptable. Everything is wonderful for a relax time except the WiFi if you need it just in case.

A fantastic place to completely unwind in peace and quiet. A particular favourite was the spa!

great staff at reception, we were on a honeymoon and got upgraded to a fantastic villa with a jacuzzi which made our stay very memorable and special. Great to have kayaks free of charge too and a National park around to explore.

the food was very disappointing considering a high price for half board. dinners were especially average with tasteless cabbage or lentil soup. The originality of flavours and creativity in the kitchen was much higher in other hotels we stayed in.

Really liked the boutique vibe of Cerf Island resort. As there were a limited number of villas it felt more exclusive and was generally less busy than the other places we’d been. The sunset helipad cocktails are a must! The snorkelling and kayaking was also great.

Enast 10 minuter med båt från Mahe. Båten går från Eden Island, Bungalowen är mycket rymliga med härligt utedusch och stor terrass. Endast 2 hus med sjöutsikt och 2 med delvis utsikt. Familjehusen har alla fin sjöutsikt. Mycket backigt att ta sig till sitt boende men de skjutsar om man önskar. Snorklingrev utanför ön, de har även egen båt de kan skjuts till snorkling vid andra ställen. Nära till Moyenne ö där många sköldpaddor finns.

- The facility is beautifully landscaped on the hillside. With a lot of privacy. A great maintained garden with great plants, palms and trees. - Since the resort was not fully booked, we received an upgrade free of charge. - Beautiful reef for snorkeling - The staff is very very helpful and friendly any time. - kayaks free of charge! We loved that. - most comfortable beds! - previous comments about water prices we could not understand: Yes it is more expensive, but you have to remember that you are on a tiny island and there are transport routes etc. - also the round trip by taxi boat for 30 euros is absolutely fair - The luggage is carried into the boat and is already in the room after check-in. It does not get any better! - What we also really appreciated is that in the evening there was a menu that you could choose in the morning and not a buffet. So there is hardly any waste here.

- Compared to other 4* hotels/ resorts the food was ok.

Lovely hillside villa with outdoor bathroom with jacuzzi. Peace and quiet when sitting on our own terrace.

Boat and reception staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Villas tucked away and well spaced out for privacy. Free access to kayaks. Great for snorkelling, even in poor weather conditions. Many excursions on offer.

The food really wasn't up to standard for the price paid. We left very disappointed by this. Not good if you have dietary requirements and choices are even more limited. I feel the resort would rate much better if they invested more into their restaurant. Each night was a set menu, which is fine, but the food quality itself was poor. It didn't encourage you to stay for a few hours and purchase drinks. We quickly ate what we could and left.

Was there 7 years ago for the first time and it only got better! Very nice villas, great food, friendly staff… will be there again but won‘t wait another 7 years!

Die Lage des Hotels in der wunderschönen Umgebung ist perfekt, um schnorcheln oder Kayak fahren zu gehen. Die Ruhe ist herrlich entspannend. Sehr gut hat uns der Service gefallen: das Personal, besonders an der Rezeption, war äußerst hilfsbereit! Danke!

Staff was excellent but property dated and badly in need of a facelift

I stayed 3 nights at the Cerf Island Resort and left with a big smile. The service level is very high and the staff is helpful and caring. The rooms/cabins are very big and loved the semi outdoors bathroom. I was positively surprised by the standard of the room. The breakfast was extraordinary, as well as lunch and dinner. It is worth a visit and I would for sure spend more nights there if I am back in Seychelles. Clean 10/10!

The place and the service on top quality! The rooms are very big and very comfortable. The area is huge so it is hard to jumo on other tourists, unless in rhe restaurant or swimming pool. Definately I will be coming back!

Amazing location and an extremely helpful staff - especially Prakash and Shubham. They went out of their way to arrange a wonderful experience for our wedding anniversary. Wish we could have stayed longer. The expansive villa allotted to us had amazing views of the ocean. We had a great time here that will be forever etched in our memories!

We had a wonderful stay here. The snorkelling was outstanding, like swimming in a fish tank. We were in a two room suite which had loads of space for our family of 4 and a great balcony where we could sit out. The two pools were a welcome place to relax. The catering was good. We have perhaps had better but it is difficult to say what they could have done in practical terms to improve it. The staff are quite simply excellent.
