South Point Villas Cerf Island

Petit coin de paradis pour le snorkeling et le repos. Kayak a disposition . Maison spacieuse avec l avantage de soit manger sur la terrasse ou le coin piscine qui est un autre espace. Les marais basses et hautes sont notés dans un cahier jour par jour et ça c'est top pour les sorties. Parfait pour les robinsons.

On a dû tout relaver au lave vaisselle avant l utilisation de celle ci mais sans doute lié a l air marin. Manque juste un petit coin repas a l intérieur pour y manger lorsqu il pleut et il y a du vent.

Je bevindt je op een eiland alleen te bereiken met de boot. Volledig tot rust komen, daar is deze plek voor. Je privacy is zeer hoog.

Die Aussicht ist sensationell, alles in Holz, tolle Sitzgelegenheiten auf beiden Terrassen, bei Ebbe kann man auf die gegenüber liegende unbewohnte Insel gehen/schwimmen, tolle kleine Sandstrände, Kajaks zur freien Verfügung, bei Flut kann man vom Jetty springen. Erholung pur

Nicht negativ, aber zu beachten: Man muss vorher Lebensmittel einkaufen, auf der Insel gibt es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Es wird Wasser, Kaffee, Zucker, Milch, 1 Brot, zu Verfügung gestellt. Für das Boot nach Mahe zahlt man 30.-/ Person Es gibt nur vereinzelt Fische, dh zum Schnorcheln braucht man nicht hinfahren

The privacy of our villa The Cove was incredible to get away from the crowds and disconnect. Pool & view are exceptional. Swimming across in the ocean to Ile Cache was very enjoyable. Sea at 29*C. Kitchen is well equipped for a couple of days of cooking. Finally, the staff was incredibly helpful

Minor uptake required but the setting wholly outweighs this

We have just returned from a wonderful vacation at South Point Villas, our second visit to the Seychelles. Six of us stayed for six nights in one villa and had an unforgettable experience. The location is exceptional, on a truly enchanted island. Most of our days were spent snorkeling and canoeing in the beautiful surroundings. Estepane, the property manager, and the entire team were outstanding—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. A hidden path leads to the top of the island, where the view is spectacular.

Det er alt alt for øde for mig. Jeg troede det var muligt at gå en tur eller spise på en café/resturant.

A real getaway, but only 10 minute motor boat ride from Mahe with a closeness to nature and a feel of privacy that was so unique and lovely. Very well equipped - from kitchen to kayaks. Richard was a wonderful host.

Die Aussicht und die Lage sind wunderbar, sehr viel privacy, was wir besonders geschätzt haben. Tolle Atmosphäre. Wir waren zum 2ten Mal, diesmal war sehr positiv, die Kajaks viel zu verwenden und auch umliegende Inseln zu besuchen, was im Juli aufgrund des Windes nicht möglich war.

Vieles muss repariert werden, es sollte auch eine Grundreinigung erfolgen, die Dusche gehört erneuert, wollten wir so nicht benutzen. Bei uns gab es kein housekeeping, vielleicht haben wir das auch falsch verstanden und hätten explizit eines anfordern müssen … Dafür zahlt man insgesamt dann deutlich zu viel. Der neue Manager war ausgesprochen freundlich und wir hoffen er bringt neuen Schwung rein!

De keukenmessen waren zeer bot, niet scherp

Wunderschöne Umgebung und pure Ruhe, es gibt dort kein Dorf oder sonstiges aber das macht es aus, wer wirklich nur Entspannung braucht ist dort perfekt aufgehoben

Die Lage ist atemberaubend 😍 und Richard der Manager ist ein Juwel. Man hat hier absolute Privatsphäre. Die Natur steht im Vordergrund und man darf keine 5 Sterne Luxusunterkunft erwarten. Alles 🔝

Die Kajaks und einzelne Beteiche könnten besser in Stand gehalten werden. Das kann man daraus für den hohen Preis auch erwarten.

Purtroppo L‘appartmaento era sporco. Prima di usare le posate bicchieri e piatti abbiamo dovuto lavare tutto. Nel frigorifero c‘erano uova marce.

Richard was so kind and welcoming. great place to stay for a few days or a week. kayaking there was awesome and there was a place full of crabs as well! loved it a lot!

everything was amazing. we even forgot to buy dinner one night and richard helped us out.

Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich gut! Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und mit einem Dinner überrascht. Die kleinen Erkundungsausflüge bei Ebbe zu Fuß oder mit den Kajaks machen viel Spaß. Beautiful and peaceful location, perfect for a longer stay. The villa is well equipped for self-catering, including laundry facilities. Friendly and helpful staff, kayaks and snorkeling equipment available, and a very relaxed island atmosphere.

Stayed in Cache Villa: dream villa, dream views and looked after by the dream team, Michel and Christine! Christine is an amazing cook! Odette was always quick to communicate and answer my questions. When the water is calm you can have the best adventures by kayak/snorkelling, if not so calm the villas are the most beautiful sanctuary to be at peace with nature. We loved the visiting fruit bat, geckos and mynah birds. The sunrise is not to be missed!

That we couldn’t stay longer! That a couple of kayaks didn’t have functioning seats- made it tough paddling for a novice like myself.

Nada. No se nos advirtió que el barco venía cuando “podían” a la Isla de Cerf, y estuvimos tirados en una isla sin nada: bar, restaurante, comercio, nada de nada y teniendo que depender de cuando quisiera venir el barco. Encima, cucarachas y hormigas a en la cabaña. Y llamadas de tlf a las que tardaban 1 o 2 horas en responder. Nos fuimos al tercer día a Eden Island .

Absolute paradise, the view from the veranda was spectacular and Michel and Christine were lovely hosts. So great to be able to jump in a kayak and go and explore. I could watch that view of the Indian Ocean every day and never tire of it.

Great that there was snorkeling equipment to borrow, had we not brought our own, but some of it was really falling apart. It would have been useful to have known what food items were provided, so we didn't double up with that initial shop. Tiny things that didn't detract in the slightest from our enjoyment of our honeymoon. We will be back.

Beautiful location, very private. Great snorkelling just off the pier. Use of the Canoes a real bonus. Nothing too much trouble for Manger Michel and Housekeeper Christine who are a great team. Michel even doing the food shopping on the island when requested via WhatsApp grocery list and Christine making a delicious meal for us on arrival so we really felt very spoiled during our stay. There was also no extra charge for these extra services. Efficient communication also with Odette who replied very efficiently and precisely to my many questions before arrival:)

We were collected promply by Michelle at Eden Island and taken over to the Cerf Island by boat, Christine had cooked us amazing first nights meal, the apartment was amazing with great views, an excellent piece of paradise

As for adventurous people - to feel like Swiss Robinson's family, stranded on a remote island with only access via boat. Complimentary finest home made meal on arrival arrival. Simple checkin procedure and collection from main island Free access to kayaks and a private little pool to cool down.

Amazing place, very private as there are only four villas and they are not close. The view is outstanding.

Lots of space; stunning location; Michel and Christine are a great team. Snorkelling around SPV is brilliant, with use of canoes to go right around Cerf. Cache family villa where we stayed is perfect for a family of 6.

Very minor issues - blinds off the deck are heavy and not all of them are operational. Old gas braai, with not all nozzles working, but we got by and were grateful at least that there was this option. Big house to keep clean and not everything was sparkly, but for the most it was very presentable and it would not stop us coming again.

La ubicación, la paz, la tranquilidad y el ambiente en general son inmejorables. La casa Cache nos ha fascinado, unas vistas increíbles. La atención por parte de Michel y Christine ha sido óptima. Hay kayaks para recorrer la isla.

No hay nada que no nos haya gustado.

Ho alloggiato nella Sunrise. La villa, tutta in legno, è bellissima, dotata di tutti i confort, arredata con gusto, con una vista sull’oceano che toglie il fiato per la bellezza. Guardi il mare e sei in pace con il mondo.

La mancanza di percorsi interni all’isola, crea limitazioni negli spostamenti. Bisogna amare molto il contatto costante con il mare, non è per tutti.

Michel and Christine were wonderful. The meal Christine had prepared and waiting on arrival was a lovely surprise. Michel was helpfulness personified. The views are beautiful and the villa (Cove) was well appointed. Getting slightly long in the tooth, but very comfy. Loved the chairs on the deck.

Do not stay at SPV in the SE monsoon. The wind howls straight at the villas. You’d better not be a light sleeper (seriously). It also means that kayaking is not possible. That in turn means you can’t get to St Ann Marine Park or other beaches on the island by kayak (a big selling point for me). My low rating reflects my disappointment in the difference between website promises and reality. Oh and I did ask by email beforehand about kayaking to the Marine Park considering the wind, and got a non-committal reply. Once I got there, the advice was a firm ”do not recommend”. The website should make it clear that, in the SE monsoon, you’re basically confined to your villa with access to only very poor snorkeling between Cerf and Cacheé islands. Of course you could pay €40 for transfer to Mahe, where you’d need a taxi if you don’t want to entertain yourself in a soul-less South African mall.

Myself and my wife went stayed here whilst on honeymoon. South point was our first stay in the Syschells before moving to a resort. We both regret not staying out whole trip at South point. It is private, the facilities are beautiful, the surrounding islands and reefs are out of the world beautiful. Compared to the reseorts which are all over commercialised and money grabbers, this place is on a completely different planet. We can highly recommend south point villas. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, Odette always replied to our messages and questions very quickly and truthfully.

This is one of the most special and beautiful places I've been to. A well-invested and beautiful villa - down to the smallest details. Great and service minded staff. Thank you Michelle and Kristin. A stunning view Value for money - very high. When we arrived, a super delicious meal was waiting for us that Kristin had prepared. and shopping in the fridge. I asked them to prepare things for birthday - and they prepared it in a very invested and exciting way. We went out with the canoe to explore the nearby islands - a great pleasure. I will also point out that it is worth coming to the place with shopping in advance and with a willingness to use the kitchen - everything you ask for beyond what we got on the first day - indeed tasty and organized and invested - but very, very expensive.

Everything!! This was our best accommodation in Seychelles. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were amazing. They even cooked a delicious dinner for us one evening. We cannot wait to return.

There was nothing

Stunning small property with only 4 accommodations. Lot of privacy, far from everything, beautiful view. I have the studio which was nicely decorated. As explained, you need to come with enough food for yourself as there are no options to buy on the island. And the only access to the resort is by boat. Christine gave me some essentials on arrival and a cooked fish and rice too. Kayaks are available to use, water is crystal clear for snorting with plenty of colourful fishes, I even saw a ray. No current, water warm. It’s easy to reach île cachée in front or to go to île longue, ronde… Super relaxing trip with the most amazing view

The filter of the pool was super noisy which wasn’t great in such peaceful atmosphere.

Upon our arrival at the villa, we found that there was no electricity, which had been the case for the previous two days at least. The owner could not provide a clear timeline for when the power would be restored (blaming goverment). We were originally booked to stay for three nights, and the owner promised us a full refund in case we decide to leave, so we left for the first night to different hotel. On the second day and 30 mins BEFORE checkout time from the other hotel we contacted the owner to ask whether the electricity had been restored so we could go back, we were informed that it had not yet been resolved. As a result, we decided to extend our stay at a different hotel. Later, the owner contacted us to inform us that the electricity had been restored, but by then, we had already paid for our accommodation at the new hotel (and since its 3 nights, we decided to book the last two nights in the other hotel since owner promised us for full refund if we decide so). Given that the villa is self-catering, we were unable to cook or have any basic amenities like lights, Wi-Fi, AC, hot water making the situation untenable. The room smelled really bad, and since the employees left the windows open many insects were inside the villa, and the swimming pool was also dirty. Once we had left Seychelles and returned home , the owner stopped responding to our messages and refused to refund us for the full stay claiming it was our choice to leave (laterally no one can stay at separate island without electricity) . He changed his position despite his earlier assurances to refund us if we leave. It is clear that the owner is greedy, lair and irresponsible. After having booking.com to intervene, the owner decided to refund for one night only (not satisfying). This was supposed to be a highlight of our honeymoon, but it turned out to be the worst part of the trip. The owner does not take responsibility for the issues with his property, and his promises are not reliable.

Everything regarding staff and place, view etc was perfect. Canoe and marine was at priceless location. Amongst 150 islands i would recommend Cerf Island to stay,holiday and honeymoon

Actually i have not experienced bad action or robbery story but some windows could not be locked. So it is a habit for me to lock all before sleeping

We stayed at South Point Villas for 4 nights as a group of 4. We loved the entire experience: the location, the accommodation, the kayaks, the snorkelling at the nearby reef, the views and privacy. A huge thank you to Michel and Christine who looked after us so extremely well. We would love to come back one day!

The one of the most incredible places I have ever stayed! we didn’t want to leave. Very private, extremely comfortable. A little pool was very nice and helpful after sunbathing. Extremely beautiful sky, couldn’t stop watching stars and moon. Don’t stock up with groceries in the shop on Eden island, it’s very expensive, buy in the city. Kayaks are always available to take anytime. We stayed in a few places on Seychelles, it was way the best!

It was a perfect stay, 100% what we were looking for, bed and pool are great. Hospitality is exceptional, Christine is a great cook. We traveled among beaches by kayaks, that were provided by the place. There is also great snorkling not far from the hotel pierce.

The villa is very beautiful and well equipped. The location and the view are splendid. The staff were very helpful.

Due to the brocken pontoon, the access was difficult and even dangerous at high tide. This limits the freedom of movement a lot. Travellers should check if the pontoon is repaired before booking.

Beautifully presented villas hidden away on the south of the island. Perfect getaway with access to kayaks for when you want to paddle off and find a beach. Villas are really well put together and have everything you need, and the team was very warm and friendly - made sure we had stocked up for our visit before we headed to the island. Incredible place to get away from the world for a few days

Absolutely beautiful, and unique. Not many places in the world you can stay on such a secluded island for such a fair price. have spent 5-10x the amount to stay in similar locations. Villa is nice, well equipped with everything you could need. Michel the villa manager was amazing, went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay! was well above my expectations for the price point compared to other properties in seychelles! You can walk(low tide), swim or kayak to ile cachee just across the water - an uninhabited island and most the time you will have the whole island to yourself, an even more unique experience - how many people can say they we’re completely alone on a tropical island!
