Location was fantastic, very quiet.

Was very busy but it was in the summer and very hot weather. Our room was a garden room but looked into a muddy bank!

I booked this trip for my parents, as it was my Mums 80th. The staff were wonderful, the setting was stunning and my Mum had the best birthday treat. Honestly the hotel went above and beyond to make sure Mum had a special time. So impressed and grateful.

The stting is amazing however i hate having to park the car and gettimg the bus up to the hotel

I requested a little treat for my sister as i was giving her the overnight stay as a present....there were 2 measly choocolates left on the pillow ...very miserable i was embarrassed

It was dirty and cobwebs everywhere one of the particular staff was very rude , carpets frayed and damage to walls in room

The scenery is great, the spa and facilities are great for relaxing

My only complaint ( and it’s not even much of a complaint ) is that I really wanted to enjoy my cheeseboard in the bar/ lounge in the evening, but it had to be bought and ate in the restaurant, it’s not really a complaint but the only thing I would change

Beautiful grounds

Had heard great things but left quite underwhelmed. The thermal experience at the spa was very disappointing. A good few of the things were not working and it was packed so just a big group of people looking for something that was in working order. At dinner the waitress forgot to order our main courses which was absolutely no issue as mistakes happen but as we were late getting our meal most people had left the restaurant and the tables around us were all left dirty while the staff seemingly disappeared. While trying to find someone to order the bill from I noticed that 3 of the wait staff and 1 manager were just standing around chatting. I had to walk up to them and pay the bill.

No ac but that's not an issue. The issue is you cannot open a window fully to properly vent the room and cool it down. I then used a fan in the room but had to clean it first as it was caked in dust. I slept ok but still found it a bit warm for my liking and would have liked to have been able to open a window fully when necessary. The desk doesn't come with a suitable chair to work from. I recommend a proper chair with a back to it and high enough to work from a laptop.

We loved everything about the hotel the garden n the woodland walks are fabulous the outdoor swimming pool is a lovely addition n the area wit the steam rooms are perfect for relaxation.we really enjoyed our stay.

I thought the pool area couldn't been cleaner, I didn't like the dirty brown rim around the tiles it's especially noticeable around the indoor jacuzzi. The floor at the doorway out to the outdoor pool is very slippery and has a smiley feel to it, could do with a good cleaning

Breakfast was excellent. The setting was superb. The room service staff were lovely. And the lady at checking out was lovely.

Some staff were not so nice. They'd forgotten where they worked in comparison to previous stays. There were a number of things in the room that were half broken. A smsll table was wobbly. The towel rack in bathroom was falling out. The door/window was kind of pointless as it wouldn't open more than 3 inches. A number of parts of the spa were not working like the bubbles in the pool and those outside were very hit and miss.

Overall, the estate is fantastic, the grounds are beautiful and it really does pull you into nature and force you to relax and unwind away from the busy world. The restaurants, including the bar, were great, high quality food and the staff were excellent. I had a spa treatment and the spa and facilities are exceptional. I will absolutely be back to this wonderful part of Ireland again.

Beautiful location in the countryside with gorgeous forest walking trails all around. An amazing gym, pool and spa. Very friendly staff. The room was lovely - very spacious, clean and modern, and a VERY comfortable bed. Food was great, and there was a really nice bustling atmosphere through the entire hotel. We absolutely loved our weekend at Farnham Estate. It's busy and bustling because of weekend weddings coming in and out, but that's one of the things we loved about it. The events/weddings wing is separate to the main hotel and restaurants.

The service let us down slightly on both nights at dinner. On both occasions (in two of the different restaurants), one person's meal arrived at least 10 minutes before the other person's meal, which wasn't ideal as the first meal went cold. We were offered a free glass of wine to compensate on the first night, but nothing on the second night (other than the first meal being re-cooked). Also a small thing, but there was no fridge in the hotel room. Other than that, everything was perfect.

This was our 3rd time are Farnham and will be definitely be back again. A lovely hotel, very comfy bed and great spa facilities. Food is always amazing and staff are very friendly.

Some elements of the spa could do with a little clean or refresh but it's still a wonderful facility.

From start to finish we were completely taken care of by staff. it was raining when we arrived to the carpark and Kevin put our bags straight into his van and said "it's raining ladies jump in" The spa area was amazing! the walks were wonderful! our stay was made so fantastic due to all the staff members working here - couldn't have been any better from the housekeeping staff, reception staff, wait staff, bar staff, spa staff, I found them to be the best staff in any hotel my partner and I have attended, and genuinely did not want to go home! can't wait to stay again!

the room got too warm, and without the fan, probably wouldn't have been able to sleep, and the spa treatments were fully booked before we could book in!

Unfortunately the fire alarm activated twice during the small hours of the morning, but at least we did not need to evacuate our room and the staff members on duty were very professional in a stressful situation.

The location and walks were gorgeous. Room was spacious comfy and clean

The spa needs a refresh, lots of rusty things, old and not big enough for amount of people. Long line to check in took 30 mins. Staff in bar and restaurant all so nice. Reception staff was quite honestly rude checking us in and didn’t explain anything properly we didn’t know what she was saying, rushed and rude.

We were a group of ten and some of the food was disappointing. One of the chicken dishes was dry, chowder was watery and had carrots in it. Mostly it was skinny fries. Generally people felt the food didn't warrant the prices paid
