Food was great

I booked a room tgat was supposed to have single and double bed in it. Just had one bed.

ON ENTRY INSIDE MAIN FRONT DOOR LARGE COWEBS ON RIGHT. ALSO IN CORNER ON RIGHT AT LOW WINDOW FILTHY NEVER CLEANED ... COULD NOT BELIEVE I TOLD LADY ON RECEPTION NOTING DONE... PITY BECAUSE IT COULD BE A GREAT HOTEL ..4 STAR ????

Liked everything,the only downside was the room was very warm no way to regulate temperature.

Room is large, in spite of that bed is (too) small, missed opportunity for a 4 star hotel. At reception more advise for outdoor leisure tips expected.

Fabulous hotel, the most welcoming I have ever visited, beautiful room and the best breakfast.

Distance from city centre. As someone who doesn’t drive it is a 30 minute walk to the hotel. Plus sometimes buses are unreliable

Beautiful atrium lobby, all very clean, lovely staff, extremely comfy bed, delicious meals. Plenty of free parking. Very good leisure centre & can join classes. Outdoor eating spaces, makes most of location near town while trying to keep natural vibe. Retty Nature reserve nearby.

Not in a real beauty spot, across from retail parks but has its own wonderful playground & garden. Ask for that vew not parking lot.

Really nice hotel. Lovely clean modern room. Good value for money and the food in the restaurant was just so good. Delicious.

The rooms are warm and even with fan still warm and just feel they could do with a really good clean like not just a genral clean. Busy with food so hard to get a seat to have a drink also a bit annoying

Excellent séjour, un hôtel que nous recommandons à 100 % ! Nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour au Crystal Hotel de Cavan. Tout était parfait. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse par une hôtesse très souriante et agréable, ce qui nous a tout de suite donné une excellente impression. Les chambres sont très belles, confortables et agréables, et la literie est vraiment excellente. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la piscine, un vrai plus pour se détendre et profiter pleinement du séjour. Et que dire du petit-déjeuner ! Il est exceptionnel : beaucoup de choix, des produits délicieux et de qualité. Nous nous sommes vraiment régalés chaque matin. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous nous sommes sentis très bien dans cet hôtel. Si nous revenons un jour à Cavan, nous n’hésiterons pas une seconde à revenir au Crystal Hotel. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour cet excellent séjour. Nous recommandons cet hôtel les yeux fermés !

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Room was very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was very enjoyable.

No mini fridge in the room that would be the only negative.

I didn’t like that you couldn’t drink in the bar, you had to drink in reception. If you have a bar it shouldn’t just be booked for food. Left and went into town instead.

We liked everything about the hotel . Location,comfort,facilities but most of all the staff. Irene is an excellent manger who is always visible around the hotel making sure everything is in order and customers are happy . Staff throughout the hotel were attentive professional and friendly. We liked the overall ambiance of the hotel .

Room was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the waiting staff were very happy to provide a couple of takeaway boxes for the food that was not finished by our young kids! This kind of service means a lot to us. The leisure facilities and playground were also brilliant.

Everything was great but the night we were there was exceptionally warm (about 28 degrees in the room). We were not able to adjust the temperature control on the wall, it just didn't seem to do anything.

The breakfast was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and the manager had a great personality and was very friendly with customers.

I couldn't fault anything during our stay.

Breakfast queue was annoying. Better to have buffet breakfast.

While the room was spacious it was very warm, particularly uncomfortably hot during the night. The bed was okay but not as comfortable as some other hotel beds (sore back both mornings). Also, the bathroom extractor fan wasn't working so the bathroom got very steamy.

We selected this particular hotel for a two-night stay so we could enjoy the pool, sauna, steam room etc. Unfortunately however I was not able to use any of these facilities. For those with mobility issues, you should be aware that the pool is only accessible using ladders attached to the pool walls. There are no concrete/tiled steps with a handrail into the pool. also, there were three large steps with no handrail and then a few more steps with a handrail leading up to where the sauna, jacuzzi, & steam room were. Totally not accessible for persons with mobility issues. The staff were super friendly and the food was good just a pity about the facilities.

Very good overall, pool was good for my daughter but we weren’t made aware that it closes early on check in

The manager Gavin was very efficient

Check in time was 4pm and our room wasnt ready til 4.45. As my husband is going through treatment and we had a 3 hr journey from donegal he needed into his room for a nap and take medication.

Very disappointed with this stay the rooms very too hot and no aircon had to request clean towels as the ones in the room very filthy

The bedroom was on the top floor. it was spacious, but was dull and very stuffy as the window was small with little fresh air, we used the fan but was noisy as it wasn't working correctly, we got a new one the following morning & we had to leave it on all the time, We did request a nice room with a decent view when booking, that request wasn't what we got. we were unfortunate with the bedroom we were given. Overall, lovely hotel, friendly staff, very clean hotel.

From we arrived everything was brilliant we had a complementary upgrade to a suite. The food was excellent breakfast and dinner while the staff couldn't do enough for you. Big shout out to the manager who came round our table at breakfast and of course Adrianna. Many thanks.

We went for my daughter's birthday as part of Rory's Travel Club. We had a great stay, lovely room, food was brilliant and staff very friendly.

Lovely hotel. Rear acess very handy but i believe this should be locked with guests having a key.

Excellent Hotel. Beautifully clean. Friendly helpful Staff. Food very tasty and plenty of choice. Shower was very well designed with controls well away from two shower heads.

Staff is top shelf - professional and friendly -The single best part of the hotel. Very clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Had dinner at the Atrium Bar - all 4 of us had great meals and cocktails. Gym is very well maintained.

No air con, but fan in the room helped on a hot night. The walls are very thin so could hear neighbors & the cleaning staff early in the morning. So not a great night’s sleep.

Lovely hotel located 5 min drive from Cavan town. Nice, comfy clean rooms. Staff very friendly and food was excellent.

Amazing stay at this lovely hotel . Rooms were great , staff were so friendly , professional and welcoming. Food was fantastic and such a lovely relaxed atmosphere . Zest leisure facilities were just great. We will be back !

As I have kids with me room was very very warm ,even i got an extra fan,the main problem was no cold water during night for kids because no refrigerator in room but rest of the things where great .

Good hotel but enhanced because of the staff who were superb. Food was excellent too would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect apart from the day staff in the restaurant. They were not interested in being there, dropped the plate infront of us and left without looking at us or saying anything. Both times we ate there we had to get up after to get things. They dont ask "can I get you anything else" or "is that everything". The breakfast staff were lovely.

Everything ! Hotel was amazing, staff were super friendly room s were spotless and towels were changed every day. One of the best hotels I have stayed in.

Beds were a little firm but this is just a personal preference, didn't detract from the actual hotel itself.
