Very centrally located, spacious room, comfortable bed, nice friendly person at check in and at breakfast

Decor in room was a bit drab, dark maroon and beige. We were told front door closes at 12 but just ring bell. We had lovely night in town and went back to hotel for nightcap at 11:45 pm, door was closed( although was quickly opened), disappointingly bar was shut locked and in darkness, we asked if we could get nightcap to take up to our room and was told, sorry, not possible! So, down the street in the bars, everyone is enjoying themselves and we are tucked up in bed , at 11:45, as quiet as a convent. Poor for a hotel.

The staff were wonderful and accommodating.

It’s an older property but had everything we needed. Only downside was that there was noise from the street until pubs were closed.

Having to wait on the street for someone to open the door of the hotel to get back in at night. Shower in the room needs an upgrade.

Brilliant , sorry for the missis getting sick in the room , told the receptionist and was willing to pay and wouldn’t accept payment it didn’t matter , stayed here twice now and it’s brilliant thank you

The staff was really friendly and enjoyable to talk to. Our room was huge and the bathroom was the most modern I've yet seen in Ireland. The cocktail bar is also great.

The general layout and style of the hotel is a bit bizarre.

Lovely hotel,very central and very friendly staff. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice,we especially liked the 12o clock checkout. Secure lift with swipe entry,a room safe, plenty of tea/coffee, good selection of TV channels, loads of pillows and most importantly a very comfortable bed. The ironing station was a great idea,with a full ironing board made life a lot easier. The staff were fantastic and a credit to the hotel.10/10. We will definitely be back.

From.check in to check out it was fab. Staff so friendly and the hotel waa very clean and warm. Food was excellent and breakfast was freah and hot. Rooms were excellent and bathroom was very modern.

Location was central to the tiny town. There was live music in the dining area. The staff were courteous and helpful. It was a great stay.

The location of the hotel is ideal in the centre of town and the rooms and facilities are excellent including a cooked breakfast brought to the table which is a rare treat compared to the buffet breakfast that appear to have become the norm. The staff in this hotel are the key to its success and they go out of their way to make their guests stay a pleasent one. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The property was a beautiful well kept old irish inn. The owner was delightful, he was extremely accommodating allowing us to check in early. The breakfast was delicious, farm fresh ingredients served at our leisure. Highly recommend a stay here in Cavan
