We checked in late and this was smooth and easy. Comfy and clean room all ready to go. We enjoyed the breakfast, staff went out of their way to help my little boy with the buffet. The staff were friendly and the manager stopped to ask us how our stay was. Perfect and great value after a long drive.

No natural ventilation in room. Poor air conditioning- no air inlet flow in bathroom - so toilet odours linger

Had to wait for breakfast to be filled up quite a while and some of the food was cold.we paid £63 pound for a curry and fish and chips.they were supposed to be chunky chips,they were frozen thin chips which mostly had bad bits on.not impressed eith food at all.

Stayed here mainly for the value-for money and spa/pool - excellent staff were a plus.

Buffet breakfast was great - when the items were being topped up regularly. Should not run out of teabags, juices, bacon, eggs, etc. - and this was on both mornings, not at the same times.

Staff rude, allergoes to food not catered for, they dont serve you whats on the actual menu, they serve you whatever sauces they feel like it, then the staff can't understand English very well so can't tell you what concoction they have served you instead. The staff argue with you over the menu when its literally in black and white it comes with chips & salad.

The receptions was smelling including the breakfast place, there are lots of works to be done to make it standard. The carpet are old and smelling of dust. The breakfast was never a value for money, it has to be upgraded, the cappuccino I made was the worst ever which I abandon and the coffee I made the jug was not hot and all the equipment has pattern of stained water. Management needs to spend money on the corridor and the general renovation of that hotel it’s never ever a 4 star in all fairness.

Nice location clean friendly couldn’t ask for much more. A bigger pool maybe but that’s only if being a bit picky! It was actually very nice👍

Have stayed here in the past to make use of the spa, it has been down sized, no hot tub any more, the swimming pool was never that big but now its even smaller 😏 there were 5 people in there and when us 2 got in it was packed. Its no longer a swimming pool more a dipping pool it was also very warm and so murky you could not see the steps properly.

There's was like a knocking clanking nose in the wall behind the TV that kept happening regularly and kept waking my parter up. The light on left side the bed is loose and the spot light wasn't working so felt like it was unsafe. The TV was having issues with the Internet so I called up to reception. The guy just kept saying there was a dedicated WiFi it was already connected ti but he wasn't understanding what I was saying nothing was loading or streaming. So could only use live TV which was useless for us. I had to clean the main shower head myself as the water wasn't coming out of most of itso I had to scrub the limescale out which I find terrible for a hotel and spa.

We asked for sheets to be replaced they just tidied the bed. The sliding doors was stuck we were told someone would come to fix it and never came thankfully we had AC. Spa was decent and small but reasonable.

Staff at the reception was very friendly and patient. The hotel is clean, neat a lot of parking space.

Fire alarm came on in the middle of the night. Kids not allowed to use the pool.

The building is nice. But it's a long walk to the rooms. It's a lovely area tho.

Unfortunately my room wasn't cleaned both days that i was there. So I was very disappointed. My tea things were not replaced. And the reception didn't answer the phone when I tried calling. The spa seems to be a sauna and steam room. And gym equipment. Not sure if they offer spa services. There was no indication of that I arrived late on Friday and wanted to order room service, but they refused to serve me because they didn't take card hold amount. And they never actually asked me for it, so I went without eating, and ate the only biscuit I had in the room, which wasn't replaced for 2 days. The place had potential, but attention to detail made it quite disappointing for me. I would have asked for the manager, but there was noone at reception when I left.

only thing id say is the rooms need a little revamp to match the style of the rest of the hotel bit out dated bit disappointed when we opened the door as we were so impressed from the moment we arrived... the shower also needs an update not very powerful or covered you to well. The gesture of the pack of biscuits usually you get 1 pack per customer in every other hotel i stayed in but we had one between us. But other than that overall had a lovely stay

The shower in the room had a vent above your head which was dirty and dripped. Two night stay room was not cleaned after first night. Breakfast was bland and coffee machine did not work for one day no facilities for hot water for tea. Selection was not great. Staff friendly. This hotel is more of a wedding location, and certainly did not meet expectations compared to the cost of the stay.

The safe in the room was locked on our arrival and despite us asking for this to be opened, fell on deaf ears There was a wedding party utilising the back garden for smoking, frightening in view of grass being so dry from heatwave, fire alarm sounded twice, not sure why. Buffet breakfast, I feel that for the money, this should be cooked to order

The property looks really nice from the outside and the is outdoor spaces to enjoy good for party’s and events

I was very disappointed with my stay. The suite had cigarette burns on the carpet and furniture. The furniture its self was dated and in need of repair. The room had a strong stale cigarette smell. The windows were locked, so there was no way to let in any fresh air or improve the ventilation. Air conditioning wasn’t working there was however a portable air conditioning unit in the bedroom but it had no way to release the hot air so it was useless it actually heated the room instead of cooling it. The second room we booked overlooked the hotel's kitchen, and the smell of Indian food being cooked drifted into the room. Combined with the lack of ventilation, this made the stay quite unpleasant. Overall, the rooms did not feel clean or comfortable, and I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

The room was very good, nice ensuite, large TV, comfortable bed, plenty of charging points and power etc. The pool was also good but small. The staff all seemed very friendly. The breakfast was good with a large assortment of foods

The restaurant seemed to specialise in indian foods, as we had had a curry at home the night before we decided to pick something from the limited traditional english menu. We ordered the fish and chips and unfortunately it did not come up to our expectations. The fish was very dry and slightly over cooked, the chips were cooked in the same fat as some of the indian foods and they had an aftertaste of curry. The fish and chips were served in a metal basket and the peas in a small round container. It was impossible to remove the peas from the container without them rising out of the container and going all over the table, and because the fish and chips were served in a basket not a plate you could not dispense the peas from their container onto your plate. It all looked well presented it was just not practical for eating, and for the money did not present good value. The waitress did not ask if we were happy with our meal at any time even when we asked for the bill.

Staff were amazing. When you walk in looks lovely but rooms very small. Spa pool even smaller. We arrived and we're told we could not use hotel bar facilities even for cold drinks until 7pm as 2 weddings were using facilities. Then the iron in room was unclean and old and it burnt my dress as temperature wasn't working on iron. Then came breakfast. Arrived 9ish and it was very quiet but no tables set up. No cups, fresh food, basically dirty tables or staff that did not even bother to acknowledge us. Which is a shame as rest of staff were lovely outside of restaurant.

This was suppose to be a wedding anniversary treat. We wanted to treat & spoil ourselves. You totally miss informed us of the total restrictions that you put in place for anyone not part of the 2 weddings.

The bed was so comfotable yiu coukd almost sink into it . The room was lovely. We sat outside on the patio area it was a lovely Afternoon had a couple of drinks a very relaxing enjoyable stay.

Most things, rooms had cracks in them, water pressure was awful, water temperature was inconsistent, staff in bar/restaurant were very rude (a part from breakfast staff and house keeping who were lovely).

The spa had a strange Oder of sweaty feet. The bed was very uncomfortable and the food was terrible. The pizza looked as though it had just come straight out of a microwave.
