Great service, Great breakfast
Food was to fancy for my test
Wow! This entire property is STUNNING! Most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in, with the dopest view!
Nothing, everything was AMAZING
Hotel was absolutely gorgeous and staff were amazing. The pool was so nice to have overlooking the cliffs and the pool service was fantastic. Very easy to get to the beach club at the bottom of the hotel and the restaurant on site was so good. Would definitely come back!
Everything Unforgettable
Nothing
The location of the hotel, the kindness of the hotel personal, the decoration and size of the room, the view of our room. Bfeakfast was very good
The last night we have to change our room for one smaller.
Tudo! Lugar simplesmente maravilhoso
The location was sensational. The hotel is on a cliff and it’s very close to the water. The property is beautiful. The room is a little bit outdated but no issues. Nice and comfortable.

Un peu de bruit le matin
First off a big shout out to the amazing staff at the hotel, they were incredibly nice, patient and accommodating. They helped with all of our needs on the trip and without them we would not have maximized our stay. Our room was as nice as advertised and the views were breathtaking. The pool had an amazing view as well and the food was very good overall. Bonus was I received the best massage I have ever gotten.
The hotel is in a fantastic location; it is built into a gorgeous hillside. The restaurant (Il Franchino) is amazing (and the breakfast spread was unexpectedly good). The rooms were clean and well appointed. Not large by US standards, but sizable for Europe). The rooftop infinity pool is really great. Davide, the pool bar attendant was incredibly friendly and helpful.
The elevator situation is not great (one tiny and slow elevator for the hotel). We had an air conditioning challenge one night in one of our rooms.
What a fantastic hotel. This place is beautiful and so clean it feels like everything is new. The staff were so helpful and friendly. David at the pool bar could not do enough for us, so pleasant and customer focused. The restaurant staff at breakfast were courteous and kind nothing was too much trouble. The reception staff were really helpful full of information warm and friendly. They made us feel like family friends. Location was great away from the crowds of Positano and Amalfi so peaceful, no noise but close enough to visit the other towns very easily. Rooms were beutifully decorated with colourful ceramics. Airconditioning was excellent. There are at least 5 restaurants within easy walking distance and all had a great vibe at night. Just a fantasic place made so enjoyable by the hard working and dedicated staff. I would stay here again 100%
Location is perfect for doing all of Amalfi. The staff were incredible. The views are insane. The facilities are great. The restaurant is insane.
I would like a better standard of room for the money - and move the aircon away from the bed.
Truly can't say enough good things about our stay at Hotel Onda Verde. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here for our honeymoon, and it blew our expectations away! It is beautiful, and every staff member is lovely and goes above and beyond to make your stay incredible. 10/10 would recommend. We will be back!
My time at this hotel was absolutely amazing. My partner and I went for 3 nights/4 days and we did not want to leave. The rooms are spacious and the views are incredible. There is a private beach access and a few italian/ seafood restaurants walking distance. Positano is a 15min drive away by taxi or you can take a water taxi which is around the time distance. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and they have great recommendations on where to go outside of the hotel. A lot of family owned restaurants by the beach area and they are so sweet and love tourists! The hotel has a small pool with ocean views from the deck, amazing mimosas made by david! he was so sweet and attentive. We want to come back already! Our favorite hotel in italy so far. You can also book excursions like boat tours, etc which was cool!
Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean and cliff-sides. Breakfast was included and there were so many options and it was all so good, they have the best cappuccinos!!! Location was great for access to the Marina di Praia Beach, the main town center of Praiano was further away but we enjoyed that it was quieter. The air conditioning in the room worked very well.
The only thing I wish was there was a place to fill our water bottles up.
⭐ Hotel Onda Verde – A Stay Ruined by a Broken Room, Misleading Management, and Poor Hygiene My stay at Hotel Onda Verde in Praiano from 15–17 July was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had on the Amalfi Coast, and I strongly urge future guests to reconsider booking here. The air‑conditioning in my room was broken for the entire stay. Across two days, staff attempted multiple quick fixes, none of which worked. The temperature swung between stifling heat and freezing cold, making sleep impossible. Two nights of exhaustion and discomfort is not what anyone expects from a hotel positioning itself as a premium property. Unfortunately, the poor experience didn’t end there. The duty manager, Francesco, was not only unhelpful but obnoxious and dismissive. He attempted to convince me that he was the senior manager over all staff, insisting that my complaint would “go no further.” The tone was condescending, clearly aimed at shutting down the issue rather than resolving it. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable in hospitality, especially when a guest is raising a legitimate concern. Breakfast was another low point. All the fruit was covered in fruit flies, and much of the food was left exposed. For a hotel charging premium rates, basic hygiene should not be optional. It was genuinely off‑putting. To make matters worse, when I raised the impact of the faulty room at checkout, I was told there would be no compensation whatsoever. No apology, no gesture of goodwill, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience — nothing. For a hotel that markets itself as a luxury Amalfi Coast property, this level of service, hygiene, and accountability is far below standard. I left feeling ignored, disappointed, and absolutely unwilling to return. There are many wonderful hotels along the coast; this is not one of them.
Stunning hotel! From the moment we got there we knew it would be a wonderful visit. We had two rooms, one for our teenagers and one for my husband and myself. Gorgeous views. Breakfast was amazing! View was our favorite to look out and see the boats in the beautiful blue waters while drinking cappuccino. So close to the marina which made it easy to get to the boat and water taxi into Positano. Good value considering some places in Positano are more expensive but less value and views. Very clean. Would return for sure! We loved David at the bar. He was the sweetest guy ever! Lots of honeymooners so having teens with us was a little unusual. But I would say it is still a good place for a family with older kids but not younger kids.

The location is awesome, the staff are friendly, and the quality of food is fantastic. The pool bar manager was extremely attentive and friendly, making our stay extra special with his signature cocktails 😁
Our room had a small jacuzzi bath with a wall mounted shower with a relatively small shower hose, making it tricky to enjoy a shower comfortably. I'm 5ft 11 so not massive. Personally, a walk-in shower would have created a more comfortable experience. I appreciate this personal preference. Overall, it iwas still an amazing experience.
amazing!! this hotel holds a special place in my heart …my now fiancé proposed to me here!! Absolutely stunning views and amazing service. Very happy with my trip of a lifetime! Breakfast was great, location to water taxis was excellent!
David at the Pool Bar goes the extra mile for the customer The chef at Franchino's was spot on with all his tastes. The sauces that accompanied our meat for dinner was out of this world. Front desk staff were more then helpful and accommodating. We will keep our stay at Hotel Onda Verde in our hearts forever
We have just returned from a one-night stay at Hotel Onda Verde and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. I would like to begin with a positive note: Davide, the pool bar attendant, was exceptionally kind, professional, and welcoming. He was by far the most pleasant member of staff we encountered during our stay. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was far less positive. We often perceived the staff as distant and somewhat arrogant, with noticeably more attention being given to foreign guests than to Italian ones. Before our arrival, after checking the weather forecast and seeing very unfavorable conditions, we asked whether it would be possible to postpone our reservation by one day. We were informed that, as an exceptional courtesy, this would be allowed only upon payment of an additional €120 fee. Given the already significant cost of a single night’s stay, we decided to keep our original booking. Upon arrival, the weather turned out to be beautiful; however, the receptionist took the opportunity to make a sarcastic remark suggesting that I had learned not to change my plans. Such familiarity was neither requested nor appreciated and felt unprofessional. The dining experience was also disappointing. We ordered bruschetta for lunch and, as locals from Naples who are familiar with high-quality regional products, we found it underwhelming. It was served with burrata and an excessive amount of oregano, a combination we did not particularly enjoy. The pizzas served at nearby tables also appeared far below the standards one would expect in this region. We also ordered a glass of white wine which never arrived. The order was simply forgotten, while other tables seemed to receive more attentive service. The Wi-Fi connection was virtually unusable throughout our stay. Upon entering our room, we also found a large spider near the television wall. In addition, the television appeared to be configured only in English. The hotel’s advertised “private beach” was misleading in our opinion. There is no actual private beach directly connected to the property; guests must leave the hotel and walk down a set of stairs to reach nearby public beach areas. The swimming pool was also much smaller than expected. The handling of check-out was particularly unpleasant. Although check-out was scheduled for 11:00 a.m., we received repeated phone calls and knocks on the door because we were running approximately 15 minutes late. Having stayed in many hotels, including higher-rated properties, we have never experienced this level of pressure over such a minor delay. Finally, we found the hotel’s policies unnecessarily restrictive. Guests who wish to use the pool after 1:00 p.m. on the day of departure are charged €30 per person, and an additional €30 fee applies if the car remains in the parking area. Overall, considering the rates charged and the expectations created by the hotel’s reputation, our stay was disappointing and fell well short of the level of hospitality we expected.
We cannot say enough good things about this amazing hotel. We stayed for 7 nights for our honeymoon and everything about our stay was fantastic. This hotel is located right on Marina Di Praia which is super convenient for getting around by boat. Praiano is the perfect calm getaway that is still close to the busier towns on the Amalfi coast. The staff here goes above and beyond to make your stay special. It was particularly helpful that they booked all of our water taxis for us in advance for our excursions. We also booked our private car transfer from Naples airport through the hotel which was seamless. Our flight was cancelled leading up to our stay and we needed to change our car arrangements, and the staff was so helpful and flexible to get us taken care of with no issue. We booked the deluxe double room with sea view terrace which was perfect for us. We had a private balcony with stunning views right on the water. We are so grateful to the housekeeping team who kept our room tidy for our long stay. Having breakfast included was a great bonus to start each day. The buffet is delicious and has a lot of variety. We also dined at Franchino for dinner which was phenomenal. Overall this hotel was an absolute dream for our honeymoon. Hotel Onda Verde made our trip so special and seamless and we can't wait to be back.
The location was amazing. A little place on the world that has such calmness. Amazing restaurants and facilities close by
Nothing was any issue to the staff. Food was excellent and the pool was amazing. A special mention and thanks to David the bar tender who is amazing at his job. He’s treats everyone with great respect and he’s hospitality skills are amazing!
Superb from start to finish. We had a fantastic few days here at Onda Verde. Celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. The staff were fantastic, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable and the owners of this family run hotel were always on hand. Our room was spacious and clean with stunning views of the Amalfi coast. Breakfast was an extraordinary spread of yumminess and dinner was one of the best meals we have ever had. The views from here are out of this world and access to the local beach is a short walk and to other restaurants (not as good as here in our opinion) was also a short walk or taxi ride. Be prepared for lots of steps and a stay that will remain with you forever.
Truly outstanding stay. Quiet charming hotel with award winning views and exemplary service. Stayed here for 8 days for our anniversary. Priano is small and authentic. Hotel staff was remarkable. Guisseppi (concierge), Paulo (head wait staff and wine expert), Antonio (dining), and David, the 22 year old bartender and pool deck attendant (whom we adored) all anticipated our needs before we did. This 25 room gem sits on top of a small cove which contains 6 restaurants, a lively bar, and a beach. But we never left the hotel. It was hard to want to go anywhere when our balcony and pool area had pristine views and the restaurant has a Michelin nod. We had several meals prepared exclusively for us. And David treated us like Royalty moving our umbrella and replenishing snacks when he noticed the slightest change in the angle if the sun or a missing chip in our bowl. I would stay here again and again and again. Only critique: taxi from Naples is over $200 dollars. We were forced to pay cash each direction though we were told our drivers would accept credit. Keep this in mind for planning purposes.
What a gorgeous hotel and it was relatively quiet compared to other areas in the Amalfi Coast. The service was very helpful, the restaurant on the property was very good. Also, the included breakfast was great. The service by the pool was extremely attentive. Definitely going back
Great service, loved the balcony and view!!!, beautiful, ceramic tile floors, lovely bed linens, air conditioner was a little funky, breakfasts were lovely. Appreciated the Key technology, and hall light that always popped on. I would have loved to have the window open each night with the sea breeze, but there was too much noise from the restaurant below. The hotel restaurant was lovely with excellent service, more continental than local Italian. It’s a fabulous location so close to the beach and many restaurants.
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Onda Verde for the first stop of our honeymoon right after getting married, and it could not have been more perfect. We stayed for four days, and the entire experience was incredibly peaceful, relaxing, and romantic. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and the location perched on the cliffs provides one of the most stunning views I have ever seen. We explored Praiano a bit during our stay, but honestly, we could have spent the entire trip at the hotel and been completely happy. The amenities and service were exceptional. The hotel restaurant was wonderful, and the pool bar quickly became one of our favorite spots. Every drink we ordered by the pool came with complimentary snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel celebrated and cared for — we were even welcomed to our room with a bottle of champagne waiting for us. The complimentary breakfast each morning was also fantastic and became something we looked forward to every day. One of the things we loved most about the location was how close it was to Il Pirata, which is just below the hotel. It has a beach club, restaurant, and one of the coolest bars we visited on the Amalfi Coast — built into the rocks and almost cave-like in atmosphere. Another small detail that really stood out: when we checked out towels for the day, they came in a beautiful tote bag, and the concierge told me I could keep it as a gift. It was such a thoughtful gesture and perfectly reflected the warmth and generosity of the staff. We left feeling completely relaxed and already talking about how much we would love to return someday.
The location was the best part
We had a fantastic stay and wanted to highlight several staff members who really stood out. The two ladies Ana and Giada at the front desk were absolutely wonderful throughout our entire stay. From helping coordinate Vespa rentals and taxis to simply being warm, fun-loving people, they set the perfect tone from the moment we arrived exactly the kind of welcoming faces you hope to see at a place this special. David at the pool bar was an absolute pleasure — incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional and became a friend by the end of the trip. Antonio at Franchino restaurant on Onda Verde was amazing. Our food took a little longer than expected, but he handled it perfectly he Made sure the overall experience was a great one. The meal was delicious and his service made the night. We have decided come back next year to celebrate our Honeymoon in 2027 at Hotel Onda Verde specifically because of the amazing staff! THANK YOU ALL!!
Amazing location and great staff. Stunning.
Priaino is a tricky location - a split town so it’s a long and difficult walk around the town so you are a little trapped.
We absolutely loved our stay at Onda Verde. The location was perfect, the views amazing, and the staff were incredible! I made the arrangements and everyone in my party said I made an excellent choice. The restaurant is great here, and the breakfast to die for. Avoid Amalfi and Positano, stay in Praiano, HERE!
The view is spectacular, the staff is great, and good breakfast.
The shower was pretty temperamental.

Wasn’t keen on the decor of the room - I was hoping for bright Amalfi coast colours but it was brown and looked a bit old-fashioned. The massages were in a zone where there’s a bar which isn’t ideal as you can hear people ordering drinks while you’re trying to relax.
Great place to stay on the Amalfi Coast. Its location in Priano was between Positano and Amalfi which were able to be reached easily by water taxi which left from just below the hotel at the Marina Pier. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel dining room was really good and many other restaurants within walking distance were as well
Everything was great!

Amazing hotel with breathtaking sea views and a beautiful pool area. We stayed here for our minimoon after our wedding and had such a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was relaxing and romantic, and the staff was professional, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. The food was excellent and the location by the sea made everything feel extra special. A truly memorable stay that we would highly recommend.
Our stay at Hotel Onda Verde was absolutely incredible from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the service was spectacular. We were warmly welcomed, checked in seamlessly, and brought to our room right away, making us feel relaxed and taken care of immediately. What truly made our stay special was how kindly we were treated by the entire staff. Everyone was so warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay, and it made the experience feel even more personal and memorable. The breakfast each morning was truly 5 stars on its own — fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented with so many amazing options. Every detail throughout the property felt thoughtful and luxurious. The views were simply breathtaking no matter where you were on the property. Whether relaxing on our balcony, sitting by the pool, walking through the hotel, or sitting by the water near the marina, every corner felt like a postcard. We could not have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again.
Great location and a special hotel. The public bus stops right outside the hotel and the local village is a 8 minute walk away. Delicious food, great breakfast. A little more expensive but well worth it!
Nothing
Locatie is zeer mooi.
Everything was terrific, from the location to the staff to the comfort of the beds to the food served for breakfast every day.

Alles was aanwezig.
Alles was fantastisch!
The view is magical. If you have a balcony attached - its a win!
I cant think of anything that wasnt likeable. I think the whole atmosphere at the hotel is very friendly, comfortable - something that you would expect from the hospitality industry.
The views were just stunning, out of this world! The staff were also superb...
They could have been more generous with the bottled water in the room. We stayed for 6 nights and only got the frigobar replaced with water (2 bottles) 2 or 3 times

Wonderful staff and gorgeous location! Wonderful breakfast. Everything was perfect!
Everything wss wonderful!
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. What really makes this place special is that it’s family-run, and you feel that from the moment you arrive. At breakfast, you’re welcomed by the mum, while the sister and brother are both deeply involved—one running the restaurant and the other managing reception. There’s a genuine sense that this isn’t just a business to them; they truly care about your experience and take pride in helping you make the most of your stay, offering thoughtful recommendations on where to go and what to see. The setting itself is spectacular. Sitting out on the terrace at breakfast, overlooking the ocean, is something special—one of those moments you don’t forget. The pool, admittedly, was absolutely freezing when we visited in April (I’d guess around 12 degrees!), though I imagine it would be perfect in the height of summer. I did brave it, but it definitely woke me up! Food at the hotel is excellent in terms of quality, though it does feel priced more towards American tourists—so as a European, it can seem a little on the expensive side. That said, the standard of food, combined with the setting and service, still makes it a highlight. The staff really stand out. A big shoutout to Dave by the pool, who was not only incredibly helpful but genuinely interested in guests—where they were from, their plans, their stories. Just a kind, warm person who added so much to the experience. The gentleman managing parking also deserves a mention—calm, patient, and unflappable, even after long days. Nothing ever felt like a problem to him. . As for the location, the town itself is very quiet, with not much nightlife. If you’re looking for more buzz, you’ll likely head elsewhere. Prices in the area are generally on the higher side too, which adds up when travelling as a family. All that said, we completely fell in love with this place and would return in a heartbeat.
If I had to suggest any improvements, they’d be minor. The music in the mornings felt a little out of place—more like a radio playing 80s hits, whereas something more relaxing or spa-like would better suit the atmosphere. Also, our room didn’t have a view, with a frosted door and access to the outside via a shared terrace. Given how stunning the surroundings are, I’d definitely recommend booking a room with a view if possible—it would elevate the stay even further
I loved the entire experience, the people, the food we were so relaxed by the time we left. One of the best hotels!
Nothing I didn’t like a lot of stairs around PRAIANO but it’s a nice workout.

The staff were excellent and helped us with everything we needed
We spent 4 nights here as part of our 10 year anniversary trip and the resort left us speechless at times from the view, accommodations, staff, service, and food/drink. The views of the water and cliffs set the stage for an unforgettable setting. All the staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast, snacks, and dinners on site were incredible. I 1000% recommend booking the Sofia Suite. It's absolutely worth it. A beautifully curated room down to every detail with a wake up view of the boats and water right from your bed. The balcony with cushioned loungers make you never want to leave your room. Make this hotel one of your stops along the Amalfi Coast.
Amazing location! Being next to a small marina made it easy to get to Positano and Amalfi. The morning breakfast was fabulous and we had dinner here 1 night…delicious! Staff so sweet and accommodating. Very comfortable beds and quiet room. Our favorite hotel of the trip!
