Everything was as said and advertised, we loved every bit of it. When photos reflect reality you know you are in the right place.

This is a gem! Very well situated in the most beautiful Praiano, even better than Positano or Sorrento. Near the beach, 700 meter. Next to a bus stop. 20 minutes busdrive from Praiano to Positano and Amalfi. Near very good restaurants, you can walk to each one. The rooms are stunning with a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean. Very very good breakfasts with coffee, pastries, eggs etc. The rooms are gorgeous with clean fresh sheets and airconditioned rooms. To top it off…the staff are amazing, friendly, helpful. This was an amazing stay!!

Great terrace for breakfast and afternoon drinks. Large room with garden terrace. Comfy bed…good air con and ceiling fans. Staff were a delight. A nice relief from the crowds in Amalfie and Positano. Really nice restaurants nearby if you like stairs!

No hot water in bathroom basin and some of the bathroom lights didn’t work

Loved everything! Breakfast was great! They always had pastries, yogurts, fruits, juices, espresso, coffee and eggs. Pretty much all you could want for breakfast, and it was amazing to eat on the terrace. Great view with great food. You are only a 10 minute walk from the beach/marina, I'm pretty sure it is one of the closer hotels to the beach as well.. If you walk the main road to it, there is also an atm on the way there, which is helpful since most the water taxi services take cash. You are right next to a bus stop which can take you through the city or to different ones nearby (didn't use it but it's there). Rooms are spacious, well kept, clean and with their own AC. I highly suggest listening to Antonio's advice. He helped set up travel to and from the airport, which on the way back we paid a little extra to stop at Pompeii which was cool. He also gave us suggestions on what to do depending on where we were going. This was extremely helpful as we went to Amalfi and also wanted to go to Ravelo (25 min bus ride from Amalfi), he helped set us up with a water taxi) by recommending to go to Ravelo as soon as you get to Amalfi, since it is a bit more touristy. So, closer to the middle of the day there are more people, so go first thing to not wait for room on a bus or shuttle and explore up there. Also, the old paper mill tour is cool. Anyways, we had an amazing time, this is an amazing place to stay, will probably stay here again if we stay in Praiano again!

The wifi isn't the best. We had a room under the terrace, which if you sleep in a bit, like us, you can hear the chairs scrape against the floor when people move them, but you don't hear footsteps so it really isn't that big of a issue, really more something we noticed. Other than that, it was literally perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Maresca in Praiano. The hotel has a lovely rustic charm and feels genuinely family-run, which made it much more personal than staying in a larger hotel. The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to share recommendations and local information. Our room and the entire hotel were spotless throughout our stay. Each morning we looked forward to breakfast, especially the delicious cappuccinos and freshly made omelettes. The happy hour was also a great touch and the perfect way to relax while taking in the stunning sea views. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach and ideally situated for exploring Praiano and the Amalfi Coast. Waking up to those beautiful views every day was a highlight of our trip. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Maresca to anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable, and authentic Amalfi Coast experience.

Very nice facility and view

After spending time in the busy towns of Positano and Amalfi, this hotel was the perfect retreat. It's located in a quaint, peaceful town full of charm and character. The owners take exceptional pride in the property, keeping everything immaculate, and the views from both the room and dining area are absolutely spectacular. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and the service throughout our stay was outstanding. A local restaurant and convenience store are just steps away, while the marina is only about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. If you're considering a room upgrade, I highly recommend choosing a sea-view room—it was absolutely worth it. We loved our stay and would happily return.

Ideally located with incredible views. Very comfortable indeed, and close to a bar/cafe, two small shops and a great selection of restaurants. The car park is a real bonus indeed, and the staff/owners were great.

Be prepared to climb (and descend) lots of steps as you move around the whole area! This is not a criticism, more of an observation - a good cardio workout each day.

La vue, l’amabilité du personnel

Vue magnifique sur la mer sans entrave (pas de route devant la chambre). La serviabilité du personnel. Le fait de pouvoir parquer la voiture à côté de l'hôtel (très pratique si on doit la servir durant le séjour). Le petit déjeuner est simple mais bon.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est un peu éloigné du centre de Praiano (15 minutes à pied). Pas d'ascenseur dans l'hôtel (un peu compliqué avec les valises lorsqu'on est au rez-de-chaussée), il faut savoir qu'on arrive au niveau du 3ème étage (réception et salle du petit déjeuner).

Great location. 2 minutes walk to bus stop, grocery store and a small cafe with the best coffee and view of the ocean. . Very visible from the street. 15 minutes walk to the main town. Small but very charming inside. Family owned , very helpful and caring team. Help you plan your day trips with very practical information. Breakfast area has full view of the ocean and lemon trees. Their website pictures don’t do justice with how amazing the views are. Our room had a balcony and in the 2nd floor with uninterrupted view of the ocean. Rooms were pretty basic but comfortable. For the price it was a great place to stay. The best part was the small beach that could be accessed by very well kept stairs. Few minutes walk from the hotel. Amazing restaurants on the beach. Not crowded. You could rent a boat or have a fancy dinner. Overall, small town charm and peace with easy access to Positano, Amalfi by bus or taxi. Antonio, was very helpful from the point of reservation till we checked out. Genuinely courteous and caring owners.

The people were lovely, and so kind. The place was immaculate.

Nic family run place. Just a little sparse and lacking in rooms - as in, No room hot drinks / kettle, no water. Beds hard and pillows lacking. Strange parking rules - free if you don’t move you car for whole duration of stay- or 35 euro per day if you do.

Beautiful breakfast on the main hotel terrace overlooking the ocean. Was delicious, cappuccinos were great, and the service was wonderful. It was close to a wonderful beach that had sun until around 4pm. The little corner store had all we needed. The hotel was family run and all of the family we met were amazing.

There were not a ton of great restaurants nearby. Not a huge problem, as they had free shuttles and we got a scooter for a day.

We liked the cleanliness of the place, the structure and especially the staff.

El hotel con vistas preciosas. El personal amable, atento y servicial y el desayuno bastante completo. Nos dejaron aparcar en el parking sin coste, lo cual es un detalle.

The only thing I can say that is not very good is the air conditioning in the room does not cool enough and the windows cannot be opened because of the mosquitoes.

Praiano är en lugn ort där du kan få en mycket bra upplevelse. Vi uppskattade särskilt närheten till bad och buss. Frukosten var utmärkt och åts med fin utsikt över havet. Extra trevligt med val av äggröra och valfritt kaffe till frukosten. Personalen var otroligt serviceinriktad och hjälpte oss på bästa sätt med allt vi bad om. De hade också gjort en bra sammanfattning med det mesta man behövde veta. På kvällen fanns möjlighet att få en drink till mycket bra pris som serverades med lite snacks. Det bästa boende vi bott på.

Air conditioning was fine. There was one very small shop nearby to buy water etc. breakfast was ok but I feel the bread and Cissont wasn’t fresh the staff was very friendly and helpful you can ask them anything Sal was excellent and the young girl too she helped us a lot Taxi service was very expensive The area is nice but the Main Street is narrow beach access is all the way down you take stairs to get there the hotel has lots of stairs too.

This is my second review, I’m a return customer, and if that doesn’t say enough, this hotel is an absolute gem and the hosts and the staff are all amazing, so sweet and so helpful. The staff was so nice to my little niece, it was her first trip abroad and they made it extra special. I can’t say enough, and I’ll be back if I can.

Absolutely nothing, I love everything about this place.

The hotel and staff are amazing. Hotel Maresca in Praiano is a hiding Gem away from the hustle and bustle of Positano. But Still close enough to the town. It’s 5 minutes walking distance from the beach and amazing restaurants. A short water taxi can take you wherever you need to go. The Staff goes over and above to make sure you have a great stay. The Complimentary breakfast was exceptional each day. Eggs to order , fruit, coffee options , fresh croissants. It was amazing. Praiano in general has a lot of stairs, everywhere has a climb and a descent! Be prepared. But it is worth it.

The hotel was beautiful. The views were amazing, staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast and coffee were exceptional. When we checked it we were shown a map of the area and recommended spots to see and how to get there. Our room was spacious and the AC worked really well.

The staff was so helpful in planning your day trips and transportation from the airport. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast they provided every morning was excellent. The location of the property made it very easy to make trips to the surrounding towns by land and water. This place is a hidden gem and I will be going back to this property in the near future.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly, provided excellent tips, and explained the area, perfect for our first time here. The rooms are spotlessly clean and serviced daily, with fresh bed linen. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh fruit, cold cuts, and much more, something for everyone. We were especially impressed by the breakfast terrace with its breathtaking sea view enjoying a cappuccino there, with the hotel owner personally present, was simply unforgettable. The view is equally stunning from a balcony room, highly recommended! Every member of the team, from reception to housekeeping, is exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always smiling. Es tal cual las fotos, muy bien mantenido. La habitación muy linda y cómoda. Queda al lado de la ruta por lo tanto es bien accesible (lo destaco porque al haber muchas escaleras en la costa Amalfitana es difícil andar con valijas)

It is a bit out of the centre of Praiano but there is a bus which gives easy access.

This hotel is positively exquisite! Family owned for generations, every corner has been beautifully decorated down to the smallest detail. The views are stunning, the owners and staff are delightful, and the breakfasts are excellent. We stayed in a fancy hotel in Positono 7 years ago and wanted to be in a quieter location for our return visit. The stars aligned when I found this place. I cannot say enough good things about this lovely hotel or the people they employ. If the scale is up to 5 stars, the Maresca is a solid 10! If you come here, please give Antonio, George, and Mia our love!

Every single day we’d wave to him or stop to chat and he was always there to help. He gave us tips, mapped out routes, helped us plan around any curveballs. Just a genuinely kind person who made us feel so welcome. Praiano itself is also such a great place to stay. We’ve been to Positano and Amalfi and while those are pretty, they’re packed and way more touristy. Praiano felt calm and real. Not as remote as Agerola but still full of local spots, friendly people, and everything you’d need within walking distance. There are markets, souvenir shops, and great restaurants all nearby. The SITA bus stop is just steps from the hotel and connects you to the entire coast. Just a few euros per ride and you can grab tickets right next door at the little shop. Food in town was amazing. Our favorites were Trattoria San Gennaro up by the church and Il Pirata which is right on the water inside a cave. We had dinner and drinks there and then spent our last day renting beach chairs from them. It was 30 euro each for the day and totally worth it. We ordered food and drinks from our chairs and swam in the ocean right in front of us. Pure heaven.

Tüm bunların ötesinde işletmecileri ve çalışanları tarafından aile misafiri gibi ağırlandık. Çok yardımsever ve anlayışlı tavırlarıyla çok keyifli bir konaklama geçirmemizi sağladılar. LOVE this hotel!! The rooms nice spacious and vey clean. Beds are comfortable. A beautiful ocean view terrace to have breakfast or a glass of wine. , A family owned hotel, Anthony, George, Mia and her brother were all so LOVELY, helpful and accommodating. Honestly they made our trip! Great location in Praiano, a few minutes to the bus stop, less than 10 min walk to the beach. We walked to town for dinner maybe a 20 min walk to town. Much quieter than Positano. If you stay in Praiano this is def where u want to stay!

Spectacular view, right in the middle of amazing cities, but the location itself is more quiet with the option to quickly travel by bus or taxi to a more popular area such as amalfi coast or positano. Also fantastic staff!

Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony and view of the water. Breakfast was perfect lots of good choices and delicious coffee and cappuccino. Everyone we met on the staff were a delight - Sal took all the time we needed for answering questions and giving us helpful suggestions. Jorge was a joy to chat with as he served our breakfast.

We had to go home!

Sehr nette Gastgeber und sehr hilfsbereit. Tolle Lage, Strand mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen paar Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Schöne und leckere Restaurants gibt es auch in der Nähe.

The Maresca family are wonderful hosts and their small hotel is spectacular. Antonio, George and Sal were attentive to our every need. Sal arranged multiple dinners for us and offered exceptional advice for local restaurants, shopping, excursions and transportation. We spent 9 nights at Hotel Maresca. We left new friends behind and are taking home wonderful memories. Thank you all. Hope to see you again!

Chambre très spacieuse, dalle d'eau spacieuse, toutes commodités, vue magnifique sur la mer (chambre double supérieure vue mer), 3 portes fenêtres donnant sur terrasse avec bain de soleil table et chaises Un peu excentré de Praiano mais l'emplacement nous convenait car très bel emplacement. Possible à faire à pieds. Proche arrêt car pour balade sur la côte Parking privé voiture et moto Commerce sur place Hôtel en contrebas de la route surplombant la mer (maps ne reconnaît pas le n°61 😏)

Buffet du petit déjeuner légèrement restreint. Oeufs au plat, omelette sur demande car non proposés

The shower pressure was not great

I've made a partially paid 3-day reservation for me and my pregnant wife on Nov/24 and the reservation got cancelled on the day prior to my arrival (June 10th 2025). I had to make another reservation in the middle of the ninght in another hotel and asked for reinbursement. Booking said it was up to the Hotel. I've talked to Mr. Antonio Maresca (Hotel owner) and asked: "Are you going you take my money?". He said: "I already did". I have all recorded.

Beautiful views and very nice accommodation’s with a very tasty breakfast! The Owners are the best and friendliest people. This was our 4th visit at Maresca Hotel! Grazie Mille, Antonio, Georgio, Gianni and Salvatore for all your wonderful hospitality! See you next year!!!

The location was great. super close to the bus stop and beach. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was nice..

The room we had seemed kind of half-finished... no shelves in the cupboards and the room felt kind of empty and without personality. The balcony was nice but also not really a balcony. The bed was also extremely hard and we both had pretty poor sleeps.
