Friendly staff Room not smelling good
I think the property can be a little bit cleaner. Great view, Hot tub is great.
It was very nice.
No air conditioner in room , room was over the top hot and uncomfortable stay was good rest was not
Hotel guests are not the main focus here. Garbage left in the hallwsy in front of our room for two days. Our room was not cleaned during our stay.
Not as quiet as we hoped but lota to do.
I did not like the condition of the property the hallways and the main entrance very dirty, elevators not clean at all, I don't think I would like to stay at the property again due to the fact that is not well kept, extremely run down.
Comfortable would be back
Good experience
Location is excellent, bike storage is great, just bring your lock. The room had a fan but was not enough to circulate air in the room, so was a bit too hot. The mattress are not confortable, you will sink into a hole. Also, it is a better deal booking directly with Pano if you plan to use the attraction there to get discounts! They will not offer discount if you booked with 3rd party like Hotels.com
Good location in the heart of the village. But rooms were not cleaned and in room coffee was not refreshed each day. Not a huge deal but the village coffee shop doesn’t open until 8am. Just a bit of a pain.
No air conditioning, thankfully gets cool at night
Comfortable bed and decent mini fridge
I was given a room beside the ice machine, beside the elevator and overtop of the room that heated and cooled the entire building. My room was shaking and rumbling none stop and it was insanely warm in the room. The AC control was deactivated and all I had was a small fan. On night two my key card stopped working so they called for a new card. I waited 15 minutes for the card and when they brought it they found out that the battery for my door was dead. I wanted another 20 minutes, sitting on the floor in front of my room the people walking by me smirking and laughing. I finally got in my room but had to wait for maintenance to take the door apart, replace the battery and put it back. The restaurants on site were insanely expensive but the food was horrible. It’s not that it was served cold or the service was bad. The food itself was the cheapest frozen food anyone could buy, and then they cooked that and served it. Nothing was made from scratch.
This was our second stay at Panorama Mountain Resort but our first stay at The Approach Hotel. We stayed for 3 nights in July and used the location as a pit stop for trips out to other areas such as Golden and Lussier Hot Springs. We thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and hot tubs, but really wished they would allow access later than 10:00 pm as the sun was just going down and we would have loved to continue relaxing in the peaceful scenery under the stars. The Approach is a self-serve type stay and we did not mind this in the least. More towels or other requests were easily placed with the main check in. The only snag we hit was calling T-Bar & Grill to order takeout - the phone was never answered so we had to walk over, order and then wait for food. Still not a big deal and the food was very good! The rooms were very nicely refinished, modern and clean and we appreciated that the toiletries in the shower were in locked dispensers instead of bottles that could possibly be tampered with. Such a great stay in an incredibly beautiful area - we will be back soon!
The property was mice and clean. Accessible to everything. We love our stay and definitely we’ll comeback. 😁
Nice area
Amazing room and location! They even accommodated, so we could stay an extra night.
Despite the room being clean when checking in it was still dirty. Numerous issues were found in the room (sink clogged etc.). Signage to the room was confusing and no elevator or easy access to the 5th floor.
Great location
Nice hotel, lots of things to do. Pool was a bit crowded with screaming kids. Too bad no adults only pools lol. Also only one restaurant open, wish more choices. Staff was great. Everything way overpriced.
Rooms are comfortable. Building no elevator, difficult with lot of luggage and kids.
No elevator in our building and we were on the 4th floor and had to park a mile away
There is lots of activities to do at the resort. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. There is no ac in the room so I would recommend packing a fan. We loved all the activities right at the resort!!
Loved the hot pool annd mountain surroundings Room is newly renovated and in a good state. Only downside is lack of daily room cleaning and air conditioning. When it’s 34 degrees outside it’s pretty warm inside and takes forever to cool down. If they even added portable a/c would probably improve the hotel immensely.
There was no air conditioning in the rooms, and we pack meals for cost effectiveness, but there was no microwave in the rooms or on site to use. Completely affected our trip.
2 night stay for work. The room was clean and presentable but the tub was clogged and it was noisy. The worse part was that were was no Air conditioning.
Great facility, family friendly. Only minus - no AC and only so so dining close by
Comfy bedding, clean room once you get there. No elevator so dragging luggage up stairs was less than ideal. No balcony, no microwave but the pool was nice, after you did those stairs as well.
Good
Everything we needed all in one place.
Great service & amenities!
The access to get your things to your room is very challenging. Other than that challenge it was a great stay. We stayed in he approach 2.
Property was outdated, extremely noisey at all hours of the day and night. Geared towards a younger crowd looking to party. Not suitable for families or anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.
Staff very friendly, room is comfortable and quiet. Close to lift chair and restaurant.
Staff servicio was terrible, except at the check in.
Construction around the property. The parking lot was a patch of dirt. It felt raw. But enjoy the stay anyway!
Overall a great stay. The Approach room didn't have a fridge which was a little inconvenient but there is a shared ice machine and microwave. The room was clean and quiet with a great view from the balcony. Restaurants were close by with excellent food. Would stay again.
safe
Surrounding area is excellent, hotel services are horrible
Rooms were way to hot, had no soup to wash you hands after using The facilities, Asked for soap to be delivered to the room, which never came. Room condition looked very beat up, even though it said on the website it had been renovated. Room was never serviced in our stay. Food out of the coffee shop below. It was cold when we ordered hot breakfast sandwiches. Food at the pub/TBar Was not great was not great. Food at the golf course though way better would recommend eating there. Attractions were good suggestion there would be offered two rides on the coaster instead of one. The swimming pool facility was great.
Room was so hot. Had a fan but was very stuffy and noisy at times. Location was great. Nice to be on hill.
Excellent
The weekend was a great experience.
Disorganized check in. Stairs everywhere, no direct access elevator. No fridge, no microwave, no AC. Room worn and dated, not the cleanest. Improper sheets on bed. Staff around resort mostly unhelpful with directions, etc. Will never stay there again.
All services was grate!
No air conditioning was disappointing
Good stay, Quiet Safe, Will Return.
Rooms were unbearably hot 35 degrees
Very nice
Could hear doors slamming. Not sound proof at all. Didn’t sleep well because of that but also we were excited to have lower level with screen door to easily access the new coaster but upon arrival learned it wasn’t ready (lots of rain caused delays which is understandable just disappointing since we drove 22 hours round trip for that reason) most of the time we had people camped out right out front out door they even set up a table with their food. So when coming and going we had to step through the people sitting right out our door. Seemed to be the rest spot for the mountain bikers. Surprised the restaurant that was close closed its kitchen by 9. No fridge it or microwave in the room. We are a family that stays up late so not having a kitchenette and no access to food or drink after 9 wasn’t ideal for us. The pool was great! Although for a resort it would be nice if they had food/drinks available at or near the pool along with some music.
It was great having a room facing the mountain and a private hot tub away from the main area. Food was excellent at the restaurants and we enjoyed walking everywhere and taking the lift up to trails. Note: rooms on 5th floor require walking up two flights of stairs. Also bring a hair dryer and kettle if you want those amenities.
Close to the ski hill . Not expensive . Close to parking . Good bed . Good bath shower in a good sized bathroom . Clean . Newly refitted renovated . Wifi was good . No kettle . No fridge . TV had no signal . No front desk . No nearby elevator . Inadequate light . Rooms are not made up every day . Staff is not in evidence at all .
Great ski in ski out location with ski storage and a coffee shop!
This is definitely not a 5-star property but if interest is on-hill accommodation at Panorama it fits well. The rooms are rather spartan but are large and clean. The Fireside Cafe win the hotel is a good option for breakfast. It would be good if the staff were better trained and provided with information. I could not locate my room as it was in a second building. None of the staff seemed to know this and I had to return to the central check-in to get details. I do not understand why the hotel makes check-out difficult. One has to return to the resort's central office via a lift and walk to check-out rather than just leaving keys in the room or visiting the resort's information desk beside the horel
Hotel is dated. Elevators only go to certain floors in one wing. No elevators in other wing which is 5 stories. No mini fridge, no microwave. Check in time is 5pm two of our rooms weren’t ready until after 5pm. I would not recommend.
Close to lifts and amenities
The Approch is right off the hill, and this room seems like a deal…. Until it’s 2am and you can sleep from the T-Bar rave going on, and the hords of lifting tracking past your room screaming and yelling. Wouldn’t recommend if you want to sleep through the night.
Was clean resort
The room was clean but that was about it. Kinda felt like the recent renovation was done cheaply and some of the fundamentals were missed. Elevator was broken. Tv didnt work. some of the electrical sockets werent working. No phone to call the desk. Guy tried to fix the tv but nothing ever happened. Wont be recommending Panorama or the approach anytime soon..
very convenient location
The view was nice. The Elevator button to level 2 wasn’t working. Room was scorching hot but was provided with a fan to cool down.
Not even a fridge in the room or any AC
There was no air conditioning in the room and it was very hot in Panorama. The room didn't have a fridge which comes standard in all hotel rooms now.
Overall decent stay, and i would recommend. Keep in mind that it is an extremely basic stay marketed as a luxurious resort. The room lacked allot of really basic amenities (minimal furniture, no mini fridge, no housekeeping, no air conditioning, etc). I also wish they had disclosed that the pool was closed prior to our booking.
We liked it and had fun
We were there for a family reunion and had a good time. Found the wine was horribly overpriced. I understand they need to make a profit but to sell wine worth 20.00 in the store for 85.00 is a little over the top . The dinner food and breakfast were good. Not all the pools were open.
Big, clean and quiet
Awesome resort and great affordable hotel! Just wish their was a mini fridge or microwave for bringing some of your own food!
The 4th floor did not have access to ice machine, no a/c or mini fridge, no signage for ice machine, screen door on balcony did not work, loud party music Until the early Morning hours
Centralized registration located quite a distance from the actual hotel. Only hotel on the mountain so no competition. Very basic hotel at very premium pricing. Very noisy and not a place for families. As the only hotel there I wanted to try it but will not be returning. Says it has been recently renovated but I seen no evidence of any upgrades. Overall quite disappointing for the price paid.
Nice and clean rooms. It will be better if they have a mini fridge
.
All was excellent
I liked all
Check-in time was 5 p.m., and I got the room by 7.30 p.m. after calling reception 6 times because the room was not ready due to a shortage of housekeeping staff, and the front desk didn't have an ETA for the room. On the other hand, they also provided a coupon for two pizzas and non-alcoholic drinks for the competition. Room has insufficient light, no refrigerator and microwave. Around 8.10 a.m., the fire alarm went off, and we discovered some smoke near the next rooms. No one at the front desk informed us of this, despite the fact that the alarm had been lined for 10 minutes before we left the room. We were all waiting outside without any notification. We left the property because no one from the resort could assist us.
Dirty, no staff,
My wife and I are well travelled, have a lot of experience sleeping from 1 star to 5 star . The good: super close to the ski chairs and main ticket office. The not so good: we had only one small night stand light by the bed for the whole room, good for romantic evening but not enough when you're looking for your things in the backpack. The parking lot has huge watery holes, we felt like driving in an all terrain track. Minus for Expedia: we got no message for the main check-in by the bridge, so we first drove to our inn then a good samaritan told us to go back to the bridge where the reception is.
The bed was terrible and worn out could feel the mattress springs. Room was really dark needed more lighting. Was dark dingy felt like I was staying at a no tell motel vs a ski resort.
It was just fine. Really confusing on where to check in, and then where to park, and where your room was. The elevator was broken, so you had to carry your stuff from down in the parking lot, up the road to the hotel, then up to your room. The ice machine that was supposed to be there was gone.
Check in was at 5PM, our room was not ready for us until 7PM unfortunately. The hotel room was quite outdated, there were piles of sheets and bags of garbage in the hallway. We wanted to enjoy our stay but will probably not be back! Also the view is beautiful and the food was delicious, staff very kind and welcoming!
Customer service was really slow for TV that wasn't working upon arrival and plugged toilet. More staff and better service needed. It is not OK to use being understaffed as the reason for lack of response. We waited 15 hours for the TV issues to be rectified and 9 hours for a plunger to arrive. Window was also broken and was open the whole time we were there (good thing it was nice out and the room was not cold as a result). Having said that, you get what you pay for and overall we really enjoyed our experience on the hill. I am sure that with better service, my review would have been much better. Would stay again.
It was good. Pros: It was clean, massive, access directly to the chairlift and close to restaurants. Cons: It was dated, didn’t have a fridge in the room and the blankets were very thin. Overall it was just a place to sleep so good in that respect.
good
Didn't have my reservation at check in Major uphill hike with luggage to room Thermostat broken, room hot as a sauna Trash left lying in hall for days No on - site staff No ice machine in building Sno cats operating all night outside of room
We found the room very convenient to the lift, restaurants and hot tub/pool. Apparently these rooms are about to be renovated. They need many more hooks for skiers to hang items. Our room was very hot and maintenance tried to fix it but the thermostat needs replacing which will be done during renovations. Location was great.
Older building, a little beat up. Beds aren’t great. Noise travels from hallways. Great location on the ski hill, steps from the lifts and restaurants.
Close to ski lifts
The bed sheets were very dated, hard, and not comfortable. The pull out bed had springs pressing on your back and not level. The TV was extremely small, decades old. Very dated room.
This was our first time at this hotel… we booked it for the convenience of the mountain, unfortunately the hotel was not what we expected. The hotel is old and has not been upgraded in years (old mattresses, broken tiles in bathroom, smelly carpets) the rooms were dirty ( dust, dead bugs, dirty walls), we even found socks and candy left in the rooms. We may return to the mountain but we will never stay in this old dirty hotel again.
The ski-in-ski out location was perfect, right near the lift. There was a breakfast cafe on the 1st floor. The bed is kinda old, creaky and could have used more pillows. The room wasn't very well lit, one of our laps did not work.
We stayed in the dodgy side, was okay for the price but it could use an up keep
Location
It was maintained.
Carpets in hallway and stairway were completely worn out. Rooms have absolute minimal amenities like a coffee machine and TV...That's really it. There is no fridge, which was a bummer. Pool facilities were really badly organized, with towels consistently running out, thrown all over the changing room floors and then piled up in stock rooms which were out in the open and disgusting to see. Jets in jacuzzi were not working at all. Parking is a hassle, especially if there is a biking/skiing event. You may need to park all the way on the bottom and take a Gondola to the top. It isnt worth staying at PINE INN. Pay a little more and stay at the diamond resorts condos (still part of panorama)
This is a great location and lots to do on the resort. Main pool is walking distance as well as some food options. The pine Inn is a bit run down but for the price is exactly what you would expect. Rooms were clean and service was excellent.
Good
Was really happy with all of the COVID controls Panorama had in place. Was a great place to take a socially distanced holiday. Looking forward to visiting again.
Out door was perfect! only disappointed with the room was a little bit dust around the bed board and no microwave to heat food specially if you have kids have problem to get breakfast if you staying for 2 days!
Easy check-in, and great service. Close by amenities and great outdoor activities everywhere.
