The stairs and awkward way to connect with reception. Totally understandable… but it takes a little to get used to

Beautiful building, room has everything you need for a short stay, close to public transport.

Room needs a new kettle, the current one doesn't turn off when water is boiling, and we couldn't figure out how to get the microwave to work.

Nice, no-frills stay right at Yonge and Bloor. Great staff, room is small, but has everything you need for a short stay. Was surprised that the room was cleaned and everything restocked in the middle of just a two day stay. Thanks to the staff, it's a quiet, safe stay and for short stays would absolutely book again.

Because of the room size (it IS a victorian house), the bed is a single, so not the most spacious,, but still comfortable. Satellite TV was not working more than it worked, which could have been just due to the weather, but really only a very minor thing.

Very good location, the room was small but clean. The towels were top notch quality and although the shower was small, everything worked well. The mattress was a bit too firm for us, but the pillows were just right! The staff member was nice, friendly and extremely helpful! I heartily recommend the Victoria Mansions Guest House.

One person room is provided with two sachets of filter coffee (4 cups per sachet). And the coffemachine provided as well. Location is great, you can't walk all the way downtown, but the neighbourhood is great. Parking further down the road (left) is cheaper than at the street.

The airco makes loud noises, if you need to keep it on during the night I would recommend earbuds. Check out box is hard to find, it's under the counter when checking in (if you check out during our of office hours)

Det var larmende og vi bestilte pga parkering men det var der ikke. Vi måtte gå på toilet i mørke for det larmede for meget at have lyset tændt.

A localização é muito boa, próxima ao metrô, lojas de conveniência, mercado e restaurantes. A limpeza do quarto estava ótima e as toalhas eram trocadas diariamente. Os funcionários foram bem atenciosos.

A Luz do quarto não era muito forte e o banheiro bem pequeno, principalmente a parte onde se toma banho.

Ich liebe diese alten Häuser und war froh, in einem so schönen Haus übernachten zu dürfen. Mein Zimmer sah genauso aus wie auf den Fotos, hatte einen Kühlschrank und reichlich Kaffee und Tee Zubehör. Personal habe ich während meines Aufenthaltes nicht gesehen, Zimmerreinigung war aber bei Bedarf vorgesehen. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil bien qu'étant arrivés avec un léger retard . Chambre agréable et propre dans une petite maison victorienne dans un quartier calme et qui correspondait à notre attente. le + : le petit parking gratuit à l'arrière de la maison.

Small drab garret room - very little natural light. No bedside tables (room too small to fit in). Very basic furnishings. No bedside sockets Very noisy - aircon ridiculously loud, prevents sleep. Fridge noisy, thin walls. Dodgy electrics. Slow WiFi. Not a comfortable stay, property needs some investment to make it fit for purpose.

La ubicación era fantástica. Es un lugar con mucho encanto en uno de los mejores barrios de Toronto

La cama tenía el somier roto, y eso pasa factura en el descanso. Intentamos hacer el check in antes de las 16.00 y estuvimos una hora en la puerta esperando. Se que el horario es el que es, pero si se indica que la recepción esta abierta desde las 11.00 de la mañana, es natural probar.

La struttura ha un ottimo rapporto qualità - prezzo. La posizione è davvero buona e l' edificio storico è molto carino e curato.

La grandezza della camera per una persona sola va benissimo, per due persone invece sarebbe davvero piccola. Trattandosi di un edificio storico, le pareti sono sottili, quindi si sentono tanto i rumori provenienti dalle camere adiacenti.

The location was good and easy access to public transport and local food places

The sheets had marks on and there was a cockroach in the toilet. There was an issue with electrics and couldn't plug everything in at once. The air con unit was quite loud.

La casa es encantadora y el barrio de los más bonitos de la ciudad. Muy cerca se encuentra el metro, cafeterías top y el barrio LGTBI donde cenamos todas las noches. El staff muy amable, pudimos dejar las maletas antes de hora. La habitación muy cómoda.

Cozy and very pictoresque guesthouse at a good location. Had a small one person room with shower and toilet, the room was clean and pretty and had everything you could hope for, including microwave, tea kettle, coffee maker + coffee and tea. Very affordable especially considering the location and Toronto's general price level. Staff at reception was friendly. Very pretty front garden. House felt safe even when there was no personnel around. I will definitely try to book this again when I am in Toronto next time.

Not an issue for me, but it's good to bear in mind that the building is old and that has some drawbacks. There are no elevators, you have to climb a couple of steps even to get to the ground floor (more for upper floors) and the air conditioning can be a bit noisy when it's hot outside. Staff is not constantly on-site, so those who prefer 24-hour reception might be disappointed (again, not an issue for me).

Bon rapport qualité-prix. L'équipement (micro-ondes, cafetière...) disponible dans la chambre est appréciable.

The location was good - central to all our needs, with plenty of shops and bars within easy walking distance. The price you pay is excellent value for money!

We had room 17 on the 1st floor. The room and bed were small as well as the extractor fan in the shower room was noisy!

El personal lo mejor , tambien que es una antigua casa muy bonita rehabilitada en hotel. La ubicacion es buena junto a yonge street y muy cerca del metro. Precio acorde y buena experiencia.

The mattress was awful. Seems only to have been slept on 1 side. Half the bed was so soft. No air con. Room 16 really isn't suitable for a couple. Extremely small. Only room for 1 bedside cabinet and 1 person to move.

Chambre 10 trop petite et encombrée de meubles inutiles, literie trop petite, donne sur l'entrée, impossible d'ouvrir sans être a la vue de tout le passage, climatisation hors d'âge qui fait le bruit d'un moteur d'avion.

La habitación bastante pequeña, también la recepción y la escalera. El wifi fallaba mucho en la habitación así que tenía que salir a la recepción para poder usarlo. Está a una buena caminata de la zona céntrica. La única ventana nos daba a una terraza en la que había más huéspedes por lo que no podíamos abrir la cortina para que entrara luz

Not much, we were very disappointed. The property looks ok from the outside and is approx 10 minutes walk from the subway (although it is not a pleasant walk).

The property itself is very basic and run-down. There was a warning in the room not to use certain electrical appliances at the same time! When we went to use the coffee maker we found it had not been cleaned from the last user. Hot water took a very long time to come through in the mornings. The bed was uncomfortable and there was hardly any space for clothing in the room so we lived out of our suitcases. There was no staff presence during our entire 5 day stay - apart from on our arrival. The area is sadly very neglected and there is a big homelessness and drug problem in the area which you encounter on the walk to the subway.

The location allowed an easy walk to the metro station, shops and restaurants. They provided clean towels and toiletries throughout the stay. The accommodation felt secure with multiple doors to access the property. The instructions to enter were clear.

Everything was functional and clean but the furniture looked old and worn. The mattress was firm. There was not a lot of space in the room. Would benefit from additional hooks for towels in the bathroom.

I liked the location and having a fridge.

Shower didn't work. Accessories like cutlery plates etc very poor standard. Room very basic, no effort to made to make it look hospitable. .evidence that mice visit the room..no commination or sign of staff anywhere

Clean, comfortable with good amenities ie. fridge, microwave and dishes/cutlery in the room. The location is great. 10 minute walk to the Wellsley subway station. Nice quiet tree lined street and many restaurants in the area.

Está ubicado en el barrio LGTBQ+ y en una calle tranquila que va a dar a la calle más larga que es Yonge street,donde hay tiendas,bares...a 20 minutos andando de Dundas Square y a 2 calles de la estación de metro Wellesley. El edificio es una casa de 1840 muy bonita por fuera y por dentro. El chek in es a través de unas claves y tienes un teléfono ante cualquier duda porque están hasta las 18.00.A nosotras nos pasó que no abría la puerta y era porque se habían equivocado de llaves,llamamos y llegaron enseguida. La habitación daba a una terraza compartida con otra habitación. Hay microondas,hervidor,cafetera americana,menaje y nevera.Hay tambien televisión,mesa y una silla.Dejan toallas,secador y gel.Pasan todos los días por la habitación a limpiar.

Solo una cama grande.No se admiten niños.Sin ascensor y escaleras estrechas. La luz del baño no era muy luminosa y a su vez muy ruidosa. La habitación nos pareció pequeña para dos personas. Se veían los muebles viejos pero no en plan retro...Por ese precio pagamos en Montreal,dos camas y habitación amplias con desayuno incluido.

The location is walking distance to the main attractions in Toronto, we explored the hole city on foot.

There was a horrific sound every 15 minutes, we believe from the AC. During the night it was a nightmare.

The room was confy, the place is convenient. Close to two metro stations, Close to Downtown. Excellent for Business and tourism. No need for interaction with the staff. Also, nice appliances (microwave, teapot, coffee maker, etc)

The shower was noisy, there are electricity issues (no microwave and coffee machine use at the same time). Also, feels like no one to reach in case of an emergency. But overall, a place I would recommend to stay when travelling to Toronto.
