Stonebridge Hotel Dawson Creek

Clean and comfortable hotel. South of town in area with several hotels. Walmart is very close. Friendly breakfast staff. Breakfast buffet includes eggs, ham, waffles and more. Room was large with separate seating area.

Breakfast items were better than expected. Happy surprise. Having the restaurant lounge was a great bonus. The restaurant is quite good.

Some little picky things….the supplied soap on the bathroom was definitely a “value” brand. A slightly nicer option would be nice. My room had a fridge. Great. But it looked like it had been malfunctioning for sometime so the wood cabinet was damaged from fridge condensation water. It looked like it had been like that for a while.

I loved the location and the building was very cute and tidy. The breakfast was spectacular.

The light fixture had sauce across it in the kitchen area and the pool and jacuzzi were out of order

Loved the Walmart being so close. Beautiful lobby, that's why I chose it.

Staff were very friendly, and handled the busy check in well. Room was comfortable and location was great!

The hot tub was under maintenance unfortunately, however that didn’t hinder the pool at all

THE front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. Very helpful. Hotel and room was clean. And breakfast wasnt to shabby. Omelet and waffles and sausages were alright.

The pool had bugs in it the pump wasnt running to keep it clean. Indoor pool shouldn't have had that man bugs in it. Sucked that the hot tub wasnt working. The bed wasnt that comfy and the pillows left a lot to be desired. Fridge didn't get cold really and there were no coffee fixin's in the room.

The room layout was fancy but it was tired(the toilet was shaky). It also had an East Asian aroma. The towels were far from soft and the pillows were too big. The breakfast was not bad except the coffee was awful and they never removed the garbage when the cans were full.

We had a big room with king size bed, and it was very comfortable. Kitchenette is very small, but enough to prepare quick dinner with microwave. Swimming pool and slide were amazing for the kids.

Lots of parking , easy booking , double queen suite was perfect space for the 6 people.

Credit card upon arrive and for some reason I couldn't find mine , we had to ask other persons staying in the room to provide. Embarrassing!!!

Great location. Very comfortable beds. Staff was great. We had a leak in our ceiling and they had us moved to another room in no time.

Friendly and clean environment. The breakfast dude is my family's favorite, he was so kind. I went to wash the highchair after my child was done eating and he insisted that I let him do it. As well as him and everyone of the staff ensuring we were taken care of during our stay as we would pass them in the building.

The hot tub was not open, it was totally taped off for no entry, after being told it would open at 5.

Sometimes it’s a little dirty, perhaps a bit more effort to clean the floor and common areas.

Comfortable and spacious rooms. Spotless clean and the staff in the hotel is super friendly, especially the breakfast attendant, Jacob, went above and beyond to serve guests with additional needs that were pretty demanding. He handled it like a pro and with a smile. The world needs more people like him who kick offs other people days with a smile and kindness.

The room was clean and the staff friendly. They had an early 5am breakfast.

The pool is down and equipment in the gym didn’t work. But the did provide a voucher for the public pool.

hot tub isn’t working and that was why I booked this hotel. watched volleyball tournament all day, wanted to go in hot tub to relax and at check in was informed it’s out of service and has been for a long time. needs to be mentioned in booking because I selected as there were only 2 showing hot tub and pool for Dawson Creek, paid more then some without pool and hot tub just for the hot tub. very disappointed

The toilet was backed up and not flushing properly, so it overflowed into the bathroom. The remote did not work, and the only way to find channels was on a piece of paper, which is archaic.

The hotel lobby was full of mud. The toilets were terrible as I mentioned above. We had stayed in this hotel in August and the bathroom doorknob was broken and my daughter was locked in the bathroom for over an hour. We had to take the doorknob completely off to be able to use the bathroom. Terrible.

Wasn't out late but during the day, it's safe.

Checked in and room smelt bad, microwave was missing, AC/heat did not work. No maintenance staff even early evening. Had to move to new room, deck chair would not stay up. Sofa was disgusting. Toilet loose. Lobby furniture peeling and even staff office chair all beat up.

Really needs to be upgraded. Towels were torn and folded on rack. Curtains were tattered. Breakfast was really sub par.

Repulsed by finding that the bed sheets had not been changed- bodily fluids evident! Staff was slow to respond to complaint-had to ask twice to have them changed. offered a room change or $25 reduction in rate. We will not stay there again.

I had a nice stay, the staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean. The place is getting a bit run down, and garbage strewn outside the back door of the property. I would stay there again though.

I was so excited to be visiting Dawson Creek and the hotel I booked seemed to have a good review. Yet the odour in our room was bad, bad: it was most likely the smell of a cleaner. Made me almost sick. There was a big black dead beetle on the black and red floor. The room should have been checked after it was cleaned. The walls should have been wiped down. You could tell that a reddish beverage had splashed on them. The towels were stained: washed but still stained. Same with the sheets. The sofa was filthy: definitely needs a shampoo. The easy chair was torn. The window that opened should have been washed and the lock mechanism repaired. The curtains needed washing. There was an inadequate amount of face cloths and hand towels. When I asked for face cloths the attendant kindly gave me hand towels to use for that purpose. The continental breakfast was not worth eating: by that I mean the eggs and meat were not tasty. I liked the door lock device on the room…it made me feel safe. There weren’t the little things that make you feel that the expense of the room was worth it: such as no complimentary bottle water, no Kleenex. The room had a nice big tv in one room that I was able to make work: I couldn’t figure out how to get the tv in the other room to work. The staff at the desk were friendly.

Friendly staff

I had high hopes for this property, but my expectations were too high. I loved having a large ADA room with kitchenette and sofa and fireplace. The walk in shower made things easier and then… the toilet wouldn’t flush. My son called, no Maintenance on duty. The night auditor brought us a new key. It was not fun needing to carry our items down the hall; in several trips. Not set up with electrical plugs for sleeping machines, needed to have cord struggle across room. Hopefully they will double check rooms before guests arrive.

The condition of the room wasn’t too great. The ceiling needs repair. It was clean, however.

The restocking each day in the room was hit and miss. Some days I had a washcloth , And some days the coffee wasn’t re filled. Otherwise, room was very comfortable.

This is a basic hotel but adequate. Bed was not all that comfy and the towels and linens are not high quality. But it had everything we needed and seemed to be clean.

The Stonebridge Hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and professional.

Clean. Conveniently located. Quiet. Comfortable beds with good pillows. No freezer in the fridge for our travel ice packs but overall good value.

Check in was fast and informative. Beds were very comfortable, good shower with shampoo, conditioner and body lotion . Had fridge , microwave and Keurig coffee. Breakfast is good

We were close to Rodeo fairgrounds. It was quiet and in a good area. The restaurant was excellent .

The hot tub is closed. And the pool/waterslide is only open until 9. Spend the extra 30/50 bucks and stay across the parking lot at the Pomeray. They have a pool, water slide and hot tub and it’s obviously open past 9. (We walked by at 930 to go to Walmart and people were still enjoying the hot tub)

There was a big vomit at the left side of the entrance, it was still there when we left the next day. The door of the room constantly beeping, has to be slammed shut very hard, and it is hit and miss still beeps.

Staff are always friendly. The fridge was leaking and had an ice build up. The jacuzzi tub was old and stained. The counter in the bathroom had burn marks on it and the sink was badly chipped. The key card reader on the doors is set to chime when a guest leaves their unit on the check out day and I had to listen to it chime from 5:30 am until someone finally came and checked it after an hour and a half. The carpets on the staircase in the picture are worn and create a tripping hazard.

the Hot Tub was broken :( and the fridge in room might need an update, we had some fruit in lower shelf and it froze them.

The rooms were clean but everywhere outside of the room was dirty...elevators, staircase, pool area, hallway tables, walls, and doors, no towels in the pool area, dirt at the bottom of broken hot tub. It made me wonder how the kitchen area looks.

It is a nice enough hotel, in a good area for events. Concerns I had were that the second safety lock on the door was MISSING from the door, which u immediately reported to the front desk, and was put into a new room, and also that the gym facility was cramped and the machines were in poor condition, some not working. The downstairs bar gets noisy and I could hear drunk people shouting from my second floor room through the window. Rooms are spacious, and beyond the door lock, well maintained.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a bunch of times over the years and this will probably be my last. Check in was fine but the room was terrible. There was splatter on the mirror in the bathroom from the previous guest. The tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Who knows the last time they washed the floors as I spilt some water and when I wiped it up the towel was black. Gross.

We've always counted on this being a clean comfortable hotel and the rooms and especially the continental breakfast didn't disappoint this time either. It was nice that the pool area was open this time, but it's condition was very poor. Broken hot tub, broken floor shower, and pool filtration needs attention. Fix this and it's gold.
