Days Inn by Wyndham Dawson Creek

Location and cleanliness.

Nothing to note

Staff was very kind and helpful

The climate control on the room was broken. Management refused to do anything for me. The room was uncomfortably hot . The ac system did not work.

Big comfortable room. A billiards table in the common room. Breakfast was good. Hotel staff was very attentive.

Location across from Walmart. Hotel staff noticed people looking at my kayaks in the back of my pick up truck and asked me to repark my truck so it would be fully visible on the hotels security cameras.

Breakfast was so-so, typical of most places. However, the staff, and cleanliness was exceptional!!

Breakfast. Not that it was bad, but it was typical fare

This is our second stay. The property is clean comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is good with nice variety. Overall very well run and we were pleased with it.

Clean,modern, ok breakfast

Wifi 4 out of 10

Mediocre breakfast, staff were friendly and helpful

Weird location, but nothing can be done about that. Maintenance details provided to location for shower drain, not a complaint, but a detail.

Very handy to shops etc, good breakfast served early, lots of parking. The rooms were a good size too We were doing a road trip and had different accommodation almost every night for 2 weeks - this was a memorable stay.

The only downer was we were right next to the ice machine and there are lots of shift workers that stay there, so very early they would fill chillbins with ice and pack their lunch and head out. I get it and great but make sure you are not next to them like we were as it’s jolly noisy. I mentioned it to the staff and thought they should move the machines into the foyer maybe ? Otherwise the rooms were good and comfortable and it was a nice breakfast included.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und geräumig. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und für jeden was dabei.

Es gab von unsere Seite nichts zu beanstanden.

Nice location near main highway

A bit far from restaurants

Was clean and comfortable.

Nothing really

Goede bedden, ruime kamer.

Matig ontbijt met spelregels in sfeerloos kamertje. Bijzonder: volgens Booking 4 sterren, Trivago 3 sterren en Google 2 sterren. Google heeft gelijk.

Your people are very nice and welcoming.

The fake eggs were pretty watery.

Cheap and clean, close to Walmart and other amenities.

Beds were too hard for my liking, didn’t sleep well at all. The hot breakfast was not great, we didn’t eat most of it.

Location

Shower malfunction but repaired next day

Very polite and friendly staff

Really courteous and helpful staff.

Nothing comes to mind

Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good

The room doors didn’t fully close without an extra push and then beeped each time if you forgot to give it push. Annoying Would be better if they closed fully each time on their own

Excellent courteous staff, clean room, quiet neighborhood, spacious room size.

Am currently using disabled parking space due to recent injury, designated spaces provided were pretty icy.

Room size, communicative staff.

None.

Very nice and courteous staff. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was very good. The facilities were very clean and the staff kept the food stocked. The whole building was very clean and the staff was very helpful & prompt with all of our requests.

Place is just outside the city area and easily accessible. Clean and friendly staff

The hotel is nice from a glance but needs some love. The bed was very saggy on the one side where it is open to the room, likely the preferred side for single travellers to sleep on. I would try to sleep in the middle but would slowly slide that way during the night and wake up right on the edge. Not very comfortable. My room had 2 blank spots on the walls where pictures used to be and the drywall anchors still in place - tacky. Something (kitchen sink?) made a clicking and grinding noise all night. The breakfast was very minimal; the scrambled eggs tasted watery and had the consistency of rice (odd). The sausages and hash browns were okay. The breakfast waffle was nice with the strawberry sauce.

Very clean.

Slept great

The location quietness the comfort

Convenient location along with pleasant staff made a pleasant stay. Good breakfast in the morning to continue our road trip

Nothing

Great

Nothing

I liked the decoration in the lobby.

Clean room and friendky staff

very friendly staff, helpful late at night to get me into my room

The main issues I had were around payment - I called ahead to tell them that we would be checking in late (around 10pm) and they said that was fine - we showed up and checked in but later I realized that they had also charged one of my other cards for the first night...they reversed it eventually but then upon checkout they finalized the original charge for our stay, effective the day we checked in but added another authorization for the full amount of our stay, effective a day after we checked out and that pending charge is still on my card 4 days after checking out - credit card company says they cant dispute it until it is finalized and no longer pending and the hotel just denies that there is second authorization, even though I can clearly see it through my online banking. This was my 4th time staying at this hotel but I think I will try another one next time. Most of the staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok most days (scrambled eggs were barely edible). Housekeeping did not come in to bring us fresh towels, empty garbage etc once in the week we were there - on about day 3 we asked at the front desk if it was because we were leaving our do not disturb sign on until we had breakfast, got ready and left (it was usually removed by about 10 or 11am) and they said they would make a note for them to possibly check later - they knocked on our door at 7am the next morning when we were sleeping and then never came back. We went to the front desk to get towels and TP as needed

The dryer wasn’t working properly. Reported this. Hopefully they will fix it.

Discrepancy between Booking.Com rate and Hotel rate. I prepaid for the room but they wanted to charge me additional fee. I declined. Process is flawed for prepaid rooms.

This Days Inn does an excellent job. Very clean and staff very friendly. Best continental breakfast I have seen in a long time.

Front desk woman was awful

The breakfast was all right. There could have been more variety of foods.

Nothing.

Both front desk and housekeeping checked to make sure everything was as we wanted. Exercise room clean and well equipped.

Stayed 2 times now and staff are great rooms are clean

all expectations met or exceeded for a double queen room. comfy clean. would stay here again anytime.

The room was nice sized with a comfy bed. The shower was good and the breakfast was great.

It was on the outer edge of town and a decent walk to anything.

Well located and confortable

Internet did not work in the room, only in the common area in the main building.

Very clean, friendly staff. In good condition and quiet

The staff were so kind and accommodating.

Nothing!

It was clean. The breakfast choices were delicious

For my husband and I we found the pillows way too high and hard. A softer one to choose from would have been nice

Not for the business class or families. Definitely a budget hotel. Couldn’t get a late check out. Hotel was dated and staff seemed miserable

Clean Room & Comfortable Beds. Was nice they offered the breakfast but the eggs and “meat” were pretty much inedible. Waffle was decent, though!

Convenient, relatively new, next-door to Walmart.

Met my needs
