L’accessibilité aux personnes à mobilité réduite. L’hôtel n’est vraiment pas adapté aux personnes handicapées n’essayez même pas de réserver à cet hôtel sauf si vous êtes vraiment valide. On a interrompu notre séjour après une nuit et on a réservé à un autre établissement juste à côté. Le petit déjeuner est très limité et pas beaucoup de choix. Belle piscine.

Limited selection for breakfast. A bit outdated from inside. Still using traditional old keys for rooms. No electronic cards. It is definitely not a 4 stars hotel.

The location was perfect - - close enough to walk to the business district but not in the middle of it. Also close to the beaches and historical sites. Also, the pool and hottub were lovely and the dock was adjacent to the pool, so lake swimming was easy.

I was going to email the hotel directly and let them know about the experience we had again at Hotel Continental but decided to share it with everyone on Trip Advisor as this hotel is just the best! From the minute we arrived, the lovely welcome, to the glorious flowers in the room, the stunning location, the friendly and efficient staff and the wonderful meals, we cannot fault the hotel. Thank you so much. Giovanni and his team do the absolute best to make your stay so enjoyable. I would like to make a huge shoutout to Masha. She is an absolute dream and was so quick and efficient at serving drinks! We can’t wait to return.

Absolutely most amazing experience. Everything was just exceptional from the staff to the location to the facilities. The rooms were so beautiful and clean. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed every second of our week-long stay and can't wait to return. Firstly, the staff are a real credit to the hotel. Every single person we encountered was polite, kind and genuinely helpful. We felt that everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and well looked after. The restaurant team, in particular, were exceptional, and the service we received at every meal was outstanding. The food was excellent throughout our stay. The evening meal consists of five courses: a salad bar, starter, pasta course, main course and dessert. There is a standard menu available every evening with around three choices for each course, alongside a daily specials menu offering two additional options per course. There is also a grill menu every night, including fillet steak, rump steak and chicken. Every meal we had was delicious, and on the one occasion my husband (who is quite a fussy eater) didn't fancy any of the starters, the staff were more than happy to offer alternatives that weren't on the menu. Dining on the terrace overlooking the lake as the sun sets made every evening even more special. Our room was lovely. We stayed in a side-facing room with partial lake views, which was perfect. Housekeeping was impeccable, with the room serviced twice a day, fresh bath and beach towels replaced daily, and a huge, comfortable bed. The walk into beautiful Sirmione takes less than five minutes. We loved wandering into town each morning for a coffee by the lake, and although we ate out a couple of evenings, we actually preferred dining at the hotel. Just a warning, we did get caught out by a bit of a tourist trap one night—a restaurant with stunning lake views that drew us in with the sunset. Unfortunately, it was overcrowded, the food and service were average, and it was a disappointing experience. A quick look at the reviews beforehand would probably have saved us! The pool area is spotless and well maintained, with plenty of sun loungers available at all times. We especially enjoyed the heated thermal pool, and the jetty provides easy access for swimming in the lake. The pool bar staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for guests. You can order drinks directly from your sun lounger, and even if you walk up to the bar yourself, they'll insist on bringing your drinks out to you. Overall, we had an amazing holiday and genuinely didn't want to come home. We left feeling completely relaxed, incredibly well looked after, and already looking forward to returning. The service throughout our stay was exceptional and made all the difference. My only very minor criticism is that the hotel doesn't provide a complimentary bottle of water in the room each day. It's only a small point, and we certainly wouldn't expect unlimited free water, but given the standard and price of the hotel—which is absolutely worth every penny—and the summer temperatures, one complimentary bottle each day would be a thoughtful touch.

Just returned from our Great Rail Journeys holiday to Sirmione, Lake Garda. (Holiday called ‘First Class Lake Garda’. ) Fantastic week! Lovely hotel, great staff and lovely meals. Good balance of days off and days with excursions although a shame one of the excursions was on the last day when many people would have preferred to have a relaxing day by the pool. Enjoyed the excursions overall although found them a little too long (2 hours in the heat!) Surprised they took place over lunch time. Also, far too much spare time after the tour in Verona before we went to an Agriturismo for dinner. Made it too long a day for most people- we should have had dinner back at the hotel. GRJ very good - Only criticism i would have of them is that there wasn’t any information given about places to visit nearby eg pretty lakeside towns worth a boat trip. Also, very disappointed not to have been able to go inside St Mark’s Basilica in Venice. Full due to all the places having been pre-booked. I felt we should have been told about the need to book beforehand. All in all, fantastic hotel and great holiday. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend GRJ (Classic).

We had a wonderful two night stay here in July. The standard partial lake view room (204) was very spacious and offered a great view from the balcony overlooking the hotel's pools with the town castle visable in the distance. The location is perfect in a quiet waterside spot yet just an easy 5 minute walk into the town centre where the ferry port is located for trips to the rest of Lake Garda. The lakeside terrace and pools had plenty of sunloungers available throughout the day offering great spots to relax or even take a dip in the lake. 100% recommend staying here if visiting Sirmione.

Fabulous location Wonderful staff, especially the fabulous Maître D of the restaurant and the bar man - both could not be better We loved that our room had a sliding door to separate the sleeping area for our daughter so that she could have her privacy.

Considering the hotel is called wellness and spa, I feel disappointed about that aspect of the hotel - there was only one spa therapist and she was not very helpful when I went to enquire about treatments. The beds were rock hard, very uncomfortable unfortunately. The bathroom was tiny with a very small shower.

Un peu à l’écart du centre, l’hôtel est très calme . Nous avons été surclassés et la chambre, spacieuse donnait sur le lac . Un ponton très bien aménagé permet de se baigner dans le lac , sinon les piscines sont très belles Le personnel est très accueillant.

La salle de bain, et notamment la douche est très petite Le petit déjeuner très moyen pour ce type d’établissement ( absence de vrai café)

We’ve just returned from a wonderful 10-night stay at the Hotel Continental and would happily recommend it. On arrival, we were delighted to discover we had been upgraded to a full lake view room. The views were stunning, and the room itself was spacious, comfortable and kept impeccably clean. Housekeeping visited twice a day, which was a lovely touch. A useful tip for anyone travelling to Italy: irons aren’t permitted in hotel rooms, but everyone is in the same situation, so don’t worry too much about a few creases! Our room included a small fridge, and the bathroom was well stocked with good-quality toiletries, including large bottles of shampoo and body wash in the shower, plus conditioner, body lotion and hand wash. Every member of staff we encountered was welcoming, friendly and genuinely helpful, which really made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast offered a smaller selection of hot items than you might find in some hotels, but there was an excellent choice of fresh fruit, cereals, breads and pastries, and the coffee was superb. Dinner was a real highlight. Each evening there was a five-course meal, including a salad buffet. There was a standard menu available every night alongside a second menu that changed on a seven-day rotation. The food was of a very high standard throughout our stay. There were quite a few fish dishes on offer, which suited us perfectly. The hotel has two pools. One is a wonderful thermal spa pool with plenty of massage jets, and guests also have direct access to the lake via the hotel’s private jetty, which was fantastic for a swim. The location is excellent too – it’s only around a five-minute walk into the town centre and about ten minutes in the other direction to the archaeological ruins, making it easy to explore the area on foot. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely location. Most of the staff were friendly, some were not attentive at all. The pool/lake area and spa pool were amazing. Well set out and looked after. Just gorgeous.

A bit tired in places. Seemed a lot of money for what we got. Rooms and bathrooms are not four star. Food wasn’t amazing.

We had an amazing week at the Hotel Continental in Sirmione at the end of June. The hotel is located beyond the town itself on the peninsula in a quiet spot but within a five minute walk of the town centre. The town does get busy during the day so is best seen early morning or evening. Do not miss out on the short walk to the ruined roman villa and museum at the top of the peninsula. The hotel is so comfortable, immaculate rooms and facilities. What made our holiday though was the hotel staff. Without exception every member of staff that we met was friendly, helpful and ready to assist to make the holiday a relaxing and luxurious break. Special thanks must go to Elena (sorry if I have got the spelling incorrect) on reception. Unfortunately my husband's suitcase was mislaid by BA and was missing for 3 days . Elena went the extra mile not just trying to ensure it did not spoil the early part of our holiday but helping to keep us up to date on progress throughout by liaising with the airport and courier. Even arranging for a member of staff to pick up the case from the courier at the town entrance as they were reluctant to enter the town itself to deliver to the hotel. The restuarant and bar staff are also to be commended. Each meal comprised good quality food with a fresh choice of seasonal dishes each night. The Maitre D' , Luciano, was charming and led a well trained and friendly team. We were so happy with the hotel that we have now booked a return week at the end of September this year. Hopefully this time our suitcases will arrive with us!

Hotel not suitable for disabled, room was excellent, shower was over the bath with no bath mat, requested one and promptly arrived. Air conditioner was controlled by reception. Breakfast was excellent, bacon and scrambled eggs was very good and excellent choice of continental. Evening meal was served from 7.30, far too late, some nights it was 9.30 after we had our dessert. No entertainment or piped music at all. Very boring. Staff were very accommodating. 10 minute walk to town centre and ferry. Plenty of shops and bars etc. food is a week rotating menu and if you don’t like fish then very limited options. Only served tiny cubed roast potatoes and portion size is minute. This was a total disaster for me, wish I had booked B&B and ate in the town for a far better choice. Booked a lymphatic massage in the treatment area, cost 100 € and was a waste of money. Staff in the spa do not speak any English so explaining my condition was impossible. Maids cleaned our room to a very high standard. Would I stay again, no.

Sirmione is a busy little town but this hotel is an oasis of tranquility, yet only a short walk from the centre. We last stayed at this hotel some 25 years ago and we were given the warmest welcome on our return. Still has that family run feel but its standards remain high and the facilities have been extended to include spa facilities. We woke each day to birdsong. The food was excellent. The staff are delightful and Giovanni and his team couldn't do enough for us. we won't wait so long before returning.

Fantastic hotel. Service impeccable, excellent food, spotlessly clean. Not cheap but worth every penny. Location is amazing - in the beautiful, medieval Sirmione but about 5 mins walk away from the hustle and bustle in a quiet, upmarket and leafy area with its own private lakeside jetty and 2 sparkling clean and inviting swimming pools. We had a family room with 2 bedrooms (king size bed and 2 singles) and a shared bathroom. We had a side view of the lake which was so picturesque. Our teenage son has a severe food allergy and the manager and Maitre d’ (Luciano) were very vigilant and well prepared. Nothing was too much trouble. He ate like a King (food is very good and all prepared in-house). Would 100% recommend this hotel for families with older children. A fantastic stay. Well done all.

Hotel is on the waterfront with chairs right on the lake. Two pools. One is heated and has various massage jets. Decent amount of lounge chairs outside. Sauna and steam room on premises. Hotel is in a quiet area of Sirmione. It's a five minute walk to all the restaurants. Great breakfast. Kids allowed.

Nagyon jó az elhelyezkedése, tiszta, rendezett kutyabarát hely. Nagyon kedves közvetlen a személyzet. Nagyon finomak az ételek. Külön öröm volt, hogy a személyzet tagjai között volt egy úr, aki beszélt magyarul is. Csodás a kilátás.

This hotel is situated a mere 5 minutes walk away from the main Sirmione centre, the Sirmione castle, and just up the road from the Terme di Sirmione. It is near the top of the Sirmione peninsula, and again within walking distance of the archeological site of a huge Roman villa, a 12th century church, and great circular walks. The hotel’s situation makes it a quiet and secluded spot great for relaxing. With magnificent views of Lake Garda. This is a spa and wellness hotel, of which there are several in the area of Sirmione due to its thermal springs. There are two outdoor pools in this hotel; one of which is thermally heated. There is also a sauna, steam, and salt relaxing room. There were a number of massage treatments which you could purchase and which were very good. The hotel is beautifully clean with modern, attractive decor. Clean dressing gowns and slippers are provided daily for the pool and spa rooms. However what made the experience special was the great food; fish, meats, and a good vegetarian selection, excellents wines, and service was impeccable. Restaurant and housekeeping staff were very friendly and welcoming, which along with the managers also putting in an appearance at our table made our stay both special and us feel important. I would definitely recommend and cannot speak more highly of our experience. Thank you Hotel Continental!

Location of hotel was good for the old town which had great selection of restaurants.

The superior room we had booked in our opinion was not superior-the bathroom was small and cramped with a shower in the bath which gave a small shower area.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They anticipated our needs and were always proactive. The location is perfect with excellent pools (one extra warm spa pool outside), view of the Garda lake and pier from which to easily go to swim in the wonderful lake. The hotel is within an easy and short 600m walk from Sirmione old town which has lots of restaurants and shops. The castello di Sirmione is also there and is very impressive. It’s easy to take the shuttle bus or boats to reach other places in the area. Verona was 1hr by airconditioned bus. The Verona airport was only 40min ride in the morning with taxi.

Det kändes anrikt och att det bär på en historia, men samtidigt modernt. Härligt med poolen ute när det va så soligt och varmt, samt deras bastu och spa del. Frukosten på innergården va riktigt mysig. Middagen på kvällen med lite vinprovning innan blev en klar höjdpunkt.

Att man va tvungen att ha badmössa på i poolen, visste Ingeborg det så man va tvungen att köpa var sin som man sedan ändå,lämnade kvar. Kanske man kunde låna ut dem i stället?

Hotel in a great location right on the lake with a nice pool and a terrace overlooking the lake. The room was a good size with a decent balcony space. We had booked a partial lake view room and got probably more than I was expecting. Staff were helpful.

The hotel is obviously investing in its wellness facilities to compete with other hotels in the same area. However despite it saying the policy was no under 15s in the hot tub there were lots of children including babies in it.

My husband chose hotel continental for my 40th birthday. All I can say is he made the most perfect choice. Transfer from the airport was arranged with the hotel and was waiting when we arrived. On arrival at the hotel the staff were so friendly and welcoming. This was the same though our are time at hotel continental. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful and extremely well looked after. Our room was spacious, clean and had the most stunning view over the lake. The towels were changed and room cleaned daily. We had turn down service in the evening and towels were changed for a second time if needed. Breakfast had a good selection with hot food also served. The pools/lakeside were fab and there was no shortage of sun loungers. We always had our choice no matter what time of the day we went down. Hotel continental was a nice walk to the main attractions of Sirmione however it was away from the main crowds which was such a plus. A few minutes walk had you in the heart of any of the tourist attractions in Sirmione. For me as someone who loves Italy and for my husband who has never been it really was such a dream stay. We genuinely cannot wait to return.
