Close to the huge Daning Mall and within a short walk to Line 1 metro Yanchang Road station. The hotel warns guests they may hear some noise as it’s currently undergoing a renovation - we didn’t hear any noise in our room on the 12th floor. Our room was a little dated, the blackout section of the curtains needed replacing. The bathroom had a shower above bath, the main shower head had been disconnected, but the hand held attachment worked fine. Loads of storage and the bed was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast - an egg station providing omelettes as well as fried eggs, no queuing for coffee as lots of coffee machines, delicious pastries and a good selection of fresh fruit. The foyer has a massive foyer, however very little seating for guests. Happily recommend this hotel to travellers visiting Shanghai.

The location. It's far from the main city which made me spend a lot on taxi fare.

We stayed on a tour. Shanghai was our last stop. The hotel is fine and looks the part, the room was fine too but it was very disappointing for an International Brand Hotel of this perceived quality that none of the staff could speak any English and the training seemed inadequate. The worst was the Bar. We all arrived on our last evening and wanted to celebrate with a drink. The poor young lady on the bar had no English language at all and no training on a Bar. She did not even know what Gin was. She tried her best, managed a couple of cocktails and got a shift leader over but she was no better. Several of us gave up and went to bed. I gave up on my 2 Gin & Tonics and had a beer instead (which in fairness to the Shift Leader was offered as complimentary in the light of the 30 minute wait for zero G&T). My advice would be to have at least on key member of staff being English speaking on each shift. I would also suggest that, although it appeared from our stay that the Bar was hardly used, the person on the Bar should have been trained and given a knowledge of which drinks are which.

أعجبني نظافة الفندق بشكل كبير، كما أن حجم الغرف ممتاز ومريح. الإفطار متنوع، لكن خياراته محدودة نوعًا ما للعرب والمسلمين ، وأتمنى توسيعها مستقبلًا. هناك مجمع قريب منه و كذلك مترو I really liked the cleanliness of the hotel, and the room size was excellent and comfortable. The breakfast was varied, but the selection was somewhat limited for Arab and Muslims, and I hope to see more options in the future. There is a shopping mall nearby, as well as a metro station, which makes the location very convenient

الموقع جيد والخدمة بشكل عام مقبولة، لكن كنت أتمنى سرعة أكبر في إجراءات الـ Check-in حيث استغرق وقتًا أطول من المتوقع بعد رحلة سفر طويلة. كذلك كانت درجة حرارة الغرفة مرتفعة بسبب تشغيل نظام التدفئة المركزي لجميع الغرف، مما جعل الغرفة غير مريحة رغم محاولات التهوية. أتمنى من إدارة الفندق إعطاء مرونة أكبر في التحكم بدرجة الحرارة وتحسين سرعة إجراءات الاستقبال لتحسين تجربة النزلاء مستقبلاً. The location is good and the overall service was acceptable. However, I was hoping for a faster check-in process, as it took longer than expected after a long journey. Additionally, the room was quite warm due to the central heating system being turned on for all rooms, which made the stay uncomfortable despite trying to ventilate the room. I hope the hotel management can improve the check-in efficiency and allow more flexibility in room temperature control to enhance the guest experience.

The bathtub is quite inconvenient to step in and step for shower which is risky if you slip and fall

Good to have a standing shower. Climbing in and out of the bathtub can be a bit challenging especially for elderly people.

Don't like the bathtub. Not practical in today environment where the pace of a city does not allow you to soak in the tub, when other places with good massage facilities are readily and modernly available.

The hotel is 3 min walk from the metro station, and is only 3 - 5 stops away from the main metro interchange/and main shopping districts. Most attractions is within 5 - 7 metro stops away. Just cross the road to hotel is a very lively shopping mall with lots of food, retail and supermarket options. Just next to the hotel is a very big hypermarket. Diagonally opposite are the local residences, where there are lots of local shops selling local crusine.

Basically is all good, except there are people who stayed in the hotel, and they open the window and smoke. Its not due to the hotel but its those who stayed in hotel. Maybe the hotel can provide some aroma diffuser for those in need.

The manager of the hotel was rude. Book assessible room. Room is assessible cos it is big. But shower area is not. Spoke to the hotel manager. His tone was rude. Not going back. There are better ones outside.

Good location with alot of Malls surrounding the hotel.

Do note that their wheelchair assessible room is not that assessible for the shower part. As they only have bathtub. Breakfast wise was soso only.

Большой номер, хороший завтрак. Рекомендую также ужин - большое наличие морепродуктов, очень вкусные десерты.

Мы оплатили завтрак за 4 дня, но уезжали в последний день в три утра (завтрак начинается в 6.30). Я заранее предупредила менеджера, что завтра у нас ранний отъезд - менеджер записала и сказала, что нам дадут ланч боксы. В итоге на ресепшен девушка не знала или не поняла о каких ланч боксах идет речь. Заспанный сотрудник в итоге пошел на кухню в ресторан и принес нам два пакетика с едой. В итоге - в пакетике было две груши и контейнер, в котором было просто два ЛОМТИКА ХЛЕБА, без масла, без колбасы и даже без джема. Это был просто хлеб. Воду дали только - когда мы попросили. В итоге - открыв пакет и увидев этот хлеб и 2 груши - мы оставили их на ресепшен девушке - чтобы она сама использовала такой завтрак. Только этот факт испортил впечатление об отеле. Остальное было отлично.

I am a returning guest to this hotel. The hotel has spacious and clean rooms. It is convenient to access shops and a supermarket. You can reach to a bakery, a food court and more formal restaurants without walking on the street. The staff is super friendly. Especially, I would like to mention Eve, a front desk staff. After knowing that I could not order a gift item from Taobao due to lack of domestic payment methods, she gladly helped to order it for me. In the end, the gift item was timely arrived for me. 我事先網拍了一些東西寄到酒店，網路留言都沒有得到立即的回應，打電話也是十分敷衍地應付，不太像是高級酒店該有的服務。 入住的時候也沒有主動詢問提供牙刷和梳子，跟前台反應也是過很久才送來，服務不好。

地理位置非常好，房間乾淨舒服，接待人員ViVian熱情週到，不厭其煩的解釋各種問題，16樓的打掃阿姨Wendy細心的打掃每個角落。之前入住提到餐廳的改善，也已完成改善，一次非常美好的入住體驗。

The cleanliness of the room and especially the comfort of the bed and pillows was on another level. I truly enjoyed my stay there. The staff were very courteous and warm. Looking forward to returning soon!

We hosted a conference with accommodation for 140 guests from Kenya at the hotel, and the service teams did a splendid job exceeding our expectations. From the warm hospitality and seamless coordination to the comfortable rooms and well-organized conference facilities, everything was handled professionally. The guests had a great experience, and we highly recommend this venue for group events or corporate gatherings.

In the last 10 years, we live this hotel when visiting Shanghai University. It is super and we love it. Food, facility and location, all 10/10.

The Stay: I recently stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai, Daning, and it was great overall! The staff were super friendly, and check-in was quick and smooth—no waiting around, which really impressed me. The Room: I stayed in their Comfort Room. It was simple but stylish, with soft, calming colors. The bed was amazingly comfy—it's their famous Four Points bed. Hopping into it made all the day's aches disappear, and I slept like a baby. The bathroom was spacious too. Loved the high-quality toiletries, and they even included bathrobes and slippers—nice little touches! Food & Drinks: The hotel’s breakfast spread was awesome—lots of choices, both Chinese and Western. They brought it around on a cart right to your table, and I especially loved the Shanghai-style soup dumplings. I also tried the lobby lounge: chill vibe, and their coffee was top-notch—beautiful latte art and rich flavor. Perfect spot to unwind between work or outings. Location: The hotel’s right inside Daning International Commercial Plaza in Jing’an. Super convenient—tons of restaurants and entertainment nearby. It’s close to the Shanghai Circus World too, and getting downtown by bus or train was a breeze. Fitness & Fun: The gym was well-equipped and spotless. As someone with a morning workout routine, it had everything I needed. They also have an indoor pool—I got to take a dip, and it was so relaxing. The water was crystal clear. Overall: Honestly, Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai, Daning nails it—great service, comfy rooms, prime location. I was really happy with my stay and will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Shanghai!

Nice stay with our co-workers

Hotel was located in a shopping centre (but there was no noise). Lots of shops and restaurants around, metro line 1 was also very close. Hotel has a swimming pool and a steam room in the ladies changing room, while the men's changing room has a steam room and jacuzzi (my boyfriend loved it). Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Carpets in the room looked a bit dirty.

Overall is great！will visit again for sure!

Staff was fighting with taxi driver while we were waiting to board the taxi. Reception calls were not answered at all times. Had to go down to the reception. Mugs were not clean on one occasion.

Frontdesk staff service is poor. They can't speak english at all and then they don't have service mind as well. They never say thank you and sorry. Also they don't explain anything such as breakfast location, invoice..etc.

It is good but the facility is a bit old.

I need to first point out that this is nowhere near the best or most luxurious hotel in Shanghai. But the hotel doesn’t claim to be anyway. What is really great though was how pleasant and helpful the staff were (only minor hiccups due to language while communicating in the app, but nothing that can’t be solved with a call or just heading down). The rooms were ok too, and housekeeping did a great job at cleaning and refreshing the room, while ensuring my work setup was not changed. It’s also really convenient - lots of food options just outside, and a large mall across the road. Only drawback is that Line 1 to the city is really crowded in the mornings!

The location is not far from the metro station, in front of The NO.10 People's Hospital of Shanghai, and there is a Family Mart in this hospital. Surrounding the hotel are famous brand name shops. There is a Daning Jiuguang Department Store next to the hotel. The highlight of breakfast is the noodles. The meatballs are very delicious. The fitness center and swimming pool are large. One thing to bear is that there will be some cigarette smell in the corridors of the accommodation floors. And the air conditioning in the room is not cool and the temperature cannot be controlled as per the settings.
