Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Die Lage ist als Ausgangspunkt für Sightseeing-Touren und Ausflüge super. Das Hotel empfängt einen warmherzig. Die Betten sind sehr gut und es ist prima alles zu haben um sich ein Heißgetränk zubereiten zu können.
Bäder etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber noch funktionsfähig. In den Seitenstraßen leben viele Obdachlose, die mitunter -auch in der Nacht- lautstarke Auseinandersetzungen haben. Dies ist wohl aktuell ein großes strukturelles Problem in ganz Irland, besonders in Dublin.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Die Lage war sehr gut, vieles war fußläufig erreichbar ansonsten ist der Öffentliche Nahverkehr sehr nah. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, die Betten sehr bequem, das Bad ist bisschen in die Jahre gekommen aber der Wasserstrahl in der Dusche war sehr gut. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und außerordentlich freundlich.
Nichts der Rede wert.

El servei d'un cambrer en el sopar on va equivocar la comanda i no ho va reconèixer. En l'entorn més proper a l'hotel has d'anar al tanto i no hi ha problemes però hi ha alguns personatges força desagradables.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026We are 2 American senior couples who stayed 2 nights in Dublin- our 1st stop on a delightful 12 day Irish road trip. The Arlington was exactly what we needed- central location easy for us to walk to the sights we wanted to see (Trinity College, tons of restaurants, museums, etc.) or use the Hop On/Hop Off bus. We also enjoyed the Celtic Nights dinner show. There is also a restaurant with live music in the hotel. We found our room to be larger than expected (compared to similar in other European cities) & clean. The staff at the front desk were superb! So helpful and kind with our questions & need for directions. Would absolutely stay here again if we ever venture to Dublin again & most certainly recommend! =:)
There was some street noise, but that's to be expected in a city! I had brought earplugs, but didn't use them.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026This place is incredible — it's right in front of everything, in the heart of Dublin at O'Connell Bridge. We had a family room on the top floor with a view of the river, and it was absolutely stunning. Plenty of room, especially with kids, and honestly we wish we could have stayed longer. One huge bonus — the Celtic Nights show is right downstairs. Don't miss it! Service was excellent throughout our stay. Highly recommend.
A few things to keep in mind: it's a historic building, so there's no elevator and no air conditioning, and everything has that old-world charm rather than a modern feel.

Personally I feel the rooms are a little run down now - especially the facilities. For the amount they are charging, I can get better facilities at an Air B&B - time for a refurb Arlington!

Chambre confortable équipée d'une baignoire (bien trop rare !), mais vue inintéressante (mais on ne peut pas toujours tout avoir).

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Es war sauber die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind im Umkreis von ca 20min gut zu erreichen. Ist für ein 3 Stern Hotel sehr zum empfehlen.
Es gab nichts was negativ war. Wenn ich das nächste Mal nach Dublin komme nehme ich wieder das Hotel

Downtown Dublin is a great time, but is crowded, with lots of traffic and full of the urban characters one has to expect. Don’t drive.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Goede locatie om Dublin te ontdekken en geweldig personeel. Ik heb één avond in het hotel gedineerd, maar dat is wat mij betreft geen aanrader. Het entertainment tijdens het diner was daarentegen fantastisch. Helaas bevinden zich rondom het hotel veel verslaafden. Zij veroorzaken zowel overdag als ’s nachts behoorlijk wat geluidsoverlast, wat ik als storend heb ervaren.
Ik heb één avond in het hotel gedineerd, maar het diner viel helaas behoorlijk tegen en zou ik dan ook niet aanraden.
