Rooms hot at night, didn’t open windows to keep street noise out

Very close to lots of pubs and restaurants.

We didn’t know that we would encounter street noise. It was too warm in the room to keep the windows closed to keep noise down. Hotel provided ear bugs. But if we had known we probably would have selected another location.

Location was great, easy walks to train and bus stations, close to many good restaurants and pubs

No air conditioning in the rooms, large windows that could be opened wide were enough to cool the room, though street noise then could be an issue according to staff.. ear plugs were provided, but we chose a room on the backside of the property, so noise really wasn’t a problem , you could hear some announcements being made at the casino but they were infrequent.

The location was excellent being close to all Dublin's main attractions. The staff very helpful and friendly - very impressed by the staff at the entry to the Inn - always ready to help and assist.

Very disappointed with the breakfast standard. Coffee from the machine was not hot, porridge was not cooked properly and watery and hot food was out too long and not fresh( except the eggs). Felt it was not good value for the price.

Das Hotel liegt ideal, wenn man die Stadt zu Fuß erkunden möchte. Restaurants, Pubs, Geschäfte und Öffis sind innerhalb kürzester Zeit erreichbar. Der Weg vom Hotelzimmer zum Ausgang ist deutlich länger, als jener vom Ausgang ins nächste Pub oder Geschäft. Bei einem etwaigen erneuten Dublin-Trip würden wir mit Sicherheit wieder das Temple Bar Inn wählen. Und Dublin ist auf jeden Fall einen weiteren Besuch wert.

Das Nachtleben hat eine entsprechende Lautstärke und hört gefühlt nie auf. Für Personen mit leichtem Schlaf könnte der Lärm zu heftig sein. Allerdings gibt es als Willkommensgruß nicht nur eine Flasche Wasser, sondern auch Ohrstöpsel.

A tidy room equipped with everything needed, including kettle, cooler, etc. The bathroom featured high-quality toiletries: "Rituals" products. The hotel is located right at the bar street, so you are in the middle of the party all the time. Just next to the hotel there is a small grocery store, many places to eat. Not far from it there is another hotel called Temple bar hotel, so know to which one your are heading.

Since the hotel is located on a street with many bars, it was quite noisy at night. On the other hand, there were earplugs in the room, so those who can sleep with them might not hear a thing. Also, not a negative point, exactly, but the hairdryer was placed strangely in the room itself rather than in the bathroom.

La literie est nickel. L'espace dans la chambre est suffisant mais vu que le voyage revenait à plus de 900€ pour 3 nuits et 3 personnes, on pourrait espérer plus grand. Mais cette remarque est vraiment là pour titiller. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et se suffit à lui même. L'acceuil est parfait que ça soit à la réception ou encore au petit déjeuner. Petit pouce en l'air pour l'agent de gardiennage à l'acceuil qui est fort sympatique. La réactivité de l'hôtel fasse à un problème est aussi à souligner. La douche n'avait pas assez de pression dès que le problème a été soulevé, il était résolu dans la minute.

Petit bémol pour la taille de la salle de bain ainsi que le robinet qui correspond à celui qu'on pourrait retrouver dans un petit cabinet. Il serait également tant de changer les rideaux ainsi que revoir la vétusté des meubles qui méritent un rafraichissement. Ce point est dommage car il peut donner une impression de saleté alors que le ménage est bien fait tous les jours si on le souhaîte. Il faudrait également trouver une solution pour les nuisances sonores. Les bouchons d'oreille ne sont pas une solution viable pour tout le monde. Les livraisons dans la rue ainsi que les gens dans le couloir étaient beaucoup trop bruillants.

La struttura è in pieno centro, vicino a tutte le attrazioni principali della città, all'ingresso c'è sempre una guardia e la reception e 24h. Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile, la struttura è molto pulita e profumata. La camera è ben attrezzata.

Nella camera non è presente un armadio, quindi un po' scomodo sistemare i vestiti. Il bagno è un po' piccolo, ma dispone di tutto l'essenziale. Nella doccia è presente solo il soffione dall'alto, quindi un po' scomodo.

Tutto, dalla posizione centrale e comodissima per raggiungere tutto a piedi, all’albergo ben arredato e pulito, alla colazione veramente abbondante e con cucina a vista tutto cotto al momento dagli chefs. Ero prevenuta sui rumori data la vivacità di Tempke bar, tanto è che ci hanno fatto trovare in camera i tappi per le orecchie, ma non ne ho avuto bisogno, forse sono stata fortunata con la posizione della camera ma io ho dormito benissimo senza fastidio

Extrêmement bruyant la nuit. Surtout le week-end, on entend comme si on y était la musique très forte des bars autour et les gens bourrés dans la rue, sans compter les livraisons du Tesco en dessous à 5h tous les matins. À part si vous souhaitez faire la fête à Temple Bar toute la nuit, mieux vaut éviter le quartier en général.

Very good location.

Also, it was VERY hot in the rooms and we were there in September. It was pretty miserable.

It was well located and clean. The staff was efficient and polite.

There were some minor issues that should be addressed. The main one is the temperature of the water in the shower. Early in the morning, the water was boiling at any setting, as in you could make tea with it. Then, later in the day, it would get lukewarm at any setting. Another more minor issue is that of the pillows seeming of low quality, without any consistence.

Close to everything, the location is great

Location was wonderful, the staff were super friendly, and was overall a really great stay.

Even though it was cool outside, the lack of air conditioning made the room feel stale and a bit uncomfortable. They provided us with a fan and opened the windows as far as they could which was very helpful, but I can’t imagine staying there in the summer without air conditioning

Breakfast was ok, the outside area in the hotel is also nice, and there is plenty of room in lobby area. Pleased that they also offer creams, shampoo, and conditioner from Rituals.

Extremely noisy and the restaurant offers very little options to eat. At night time it is almost impossible to sleep with all of the noise that is happening in the Temple Bar area. I would not recommend this hotel or location at all if you are traveling for work and/or school.

War Nachts sehr laut, aber das haben wir uns bei der Lage schon gedacht. Das Hotel hatte netterweise Ohrstöpsel bereit gelegt.

Location and very clean.

Reception, restaurant and bar are all below ground so no windows, a bit gloomy. I stayed : nights and each morning around 8 the hot water for a shower was cold or lukewarm.

Hade ett singelrum på fjärde våningen som var alldeles för varmt, gick inte att justera. Fanns en golvfläkt som jag hade på för fullt men den svalkade inte utan fläktade bara. Sov dåligt i 4 nätter pga värmen i rummet (och det var inte extremt varmt ute heller. Duschen hade extremt dåligt tryck, som att tvätta håret i duggregn.Först kom det bara kallt vatten, sen blev det varmare och varmare och gick inte att justera till en behaglig nivå.

The staff were lovely - from the security man, to the people at reception. The room was good.

The room was hot. On a Saturday night, the noise from the street outside was loud.

The rooms are compact, but very comfortable and very clean. The location in the city centre was perfect for us close to shopping restaurants bars and museum's. .The staff were always smiling attentive and very professional. The breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Raam open in de nacht is niet aan te raden ivm geluidsoverlast van bezoekers uitgaansgelegenheden. Maar daarvoor faciliteert het hotel in oordopjes en losse airco’s.

A szoba mérete megfelelő volt, a reggeli bőséges és választékos. A személyzet nagy része kedves, segítőkész.

A buli helyektől távolabb van, de így is zajos volt éjjel, főleg, mert nyitva kellett tartani kicsit az ablakot, hogy legyen levegő. Nincs szellőztető rendszer, vagy nem működik jól. Az ágy nekünk puha volt.

The locations is fantastic! I was within 5 minutes of all meeting points for activities.

The refrigerator was heating up the room quite a bit. I had my windows open whenever I was in the room, although I needed to shut them to sleep. I did appreciate the nice Dyson fan in the room.

I loved the location the security desk staff was wonderful and eager to help. The check in was seamless and the included breakfast was a good value.

The room was a bit small for 2 of us, both with separate luggage to contend with. It was warm that day and with no AC, the only option was to open the window for air, bur backing to the alley was noisy. The staff was helpful to show us how to operate the fan.

location good, rooms at the rear have no view at all, although they are quieter. A give away to the area is the hotel provides you with ear plugs.

Limited bar opening times after a long day it was not possible to have a night cap before bed as the bar closed at 11pm

All the staff were wonderful. We really liked the bar area and the breakfast was great. The bed was really comfortable too. Would absolutely stay here again.

Street noise can be a little much sometimes

The Temple Bar Inn was located downtown Dublin on Temple Street right where all the pubs and resturants were located. The staff was great and the room was very clean.

We had a room at the back of the hotel, which was very noisey with music from the street above until 2-3 am, but we survived our two night stay.

We hadden een 3 persoons kamer, er was weinig ruimte voor onze koffers en de badkamer was erg klein voor 3 personen

La posizione comoda per girare la città. La colazione ricca e varia. La pulizia degli ambienti.

La camera (al quarto piano) era molto calda, senza aria condizionata, le finestre non poteva stare aperte durante la notte per il rumore esterno e il ventilatore da solo non bastava a rinfrescare, ho soggiornato ad agosto.

Terrible value for money. The rooms were very hot with no air conditioning, but if you open the windows you can’t sleep because the hotel is across from a karaoke bar. There is no refrigerator in the room - it is a “cooler box” that “keeps things the same temperature” which isn’t true because even our ice melted relatively quickly in it (not totally sure what the point of this is). The sink basin is comically small and our shower drain was clogged our entire stay. Rooms are not cleaned/towels are not replaced by default - you have to have a tag on your door handle by 10am or your room won’t be serviced.
