Nos dieron una habitación que no correspondía, fuimos a decirlo y decían que era lo que había hasta que pedimos una hoja de reclamaciones y en ese momento oh sorpresa entonces nos dijeron que sí había pero que teníamos que esperar al día siguiente y dejar nuestra habitación a las 12 para que la pudiesen limpiar y que priorizarían la limpieza de la nueva habitación para tenerla antes de las 3, al día siguiente nos vamos a recepción y nos dicen que bueno que la nueva habitación no tiene terraza a lo que otra vez indicamos que no solo no se estaba cumpliendo con la habitación contratada sino que se nos había engañado el día anterior y nos decían otra vez que era lo que había por lo que pedí de nuevo la hoja de reclamaciones e indicamos que hablaríamos directamente con booking para trasladar todo y de repente otra vez oh! Sorpresa si nos podían dar la habitación que habíamos contratado y que por supuesto darían prioridad para no tenernos 3 horas sin hotel. Pues bien no sé a quien darían la prioridad porque a nosotros no, tuvimos que ir a las 3 a recepción a por la nueva llave. Así, no solo tuvimos que dormir en una habitación que no habíamos pagado si no que además al día siguiente estuvimos 3 horas sin hotel. En fin.. unos caraduras. Vigilad bien las habitaciones que os dan porque nos dijeron que daban las habitaciones según se iban quedando libres y yo les dije que eso no se puede hacer que las habitaciones se dan según lo contratado.

Super emplacement directement sur la plage. Grande chambre spacieuse. Une belle terrasse avec un hamac. les jardins sont magnifiques et on y croise des ratons laveurs et des iguanes. Le all inclusive est un peu cher mais très beau buffet pour tous les repas. Tout se fait à pied.

the water was cut off for a large portion of our stay without being warned that would be occurring, there was construction in the room above ours - again without being told that would be occurring - they ask for a 400 peso deposit for each beach towel you use, and over breakfast they charge you for extras including coffee, which no 'luxury' hotel would ever ask for. The hotel and its services are fine but is it 'luxury' as it claims to be? absolutely not.

Nada más llegar nuestra experiencia no fue buena del todo, fuimos a comer algo mientras llegaba la hora de tener la habitación lista. Estuvimos sin exagerar más de 1 hora esperando por una hamburguesa, no nos dieron ninguna explicación, por lo visto luego en recepción dijeron que había nose que problema con el pan. Diciéndolo en el momento podríamos habernos ido a otro sitio. El primer contacto con la habitación tampoco fue bueno. La higiene muy deficiente, con arena por el suelo, lavabo sucio y toallas sucias. Llamamos a recepción para comunicarlo, y al día siguiente se pudo notar el cambio para bien. Habitación muy oscura

Bell’hotel sulla spiaggia bianchissima di Holbox (un po fuori dal paese ma a 15 minuti a piedi o 5 minuti di taxi). Camere spaziose e ben arredate, con uno spazio esterno dotato di poltroncine ed amaca ed affacciate sul verde. Abbiamo apprezzato l’atmosfera rilassata e la prossimità alla spiaggia. Comoda la possibilità di usufruire della colazione inclusa a buffet e la disponibilità del servizio ristorante a buffet (con prezzi standard per il Messico, anche per il servizio bar ed il mini bar). Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Un po burocratici nelle procedure di check-in e check out, ma è solo una piccola annotazione. Torneremmo volentieri

The hotel is great! Not 5 stars but definitely not 3. A solid 4 for what it offers. I’d say is quiet and rustic almost chic. What would make it 4+ stars would be a little more attention to details. 5 star experiences pay obsessive attention to the senses - like all around spotless amenities and rooms. There were some annoyances like paying a refundable deposit for towels- I don’t want to think about towels on vacation. Or ensuring to sign a consumption bill when we paid for all inclusive - I don’t want to think about a bill even when it’s $0 when it’s all inclusive. Additionally, not disclosing taxes on quote, but only learning about it upon arrival was unnecessary. Just disclose full prices taxes included…. The staff was great! Some more authentic and warm than others. Standouts were Jose and Victor by the beach keeping the drinks flowing and Montserrat at the restaurant with the warmest service and authentic caring smile. Don’t skip the massage Lili has magical healing hands and Juliet for Keeping our room tidy and fresh.

Beautiful grounds and villas

The staff lack warmth and compassion. It feels like it’s all about the money. One morning I ordered a cappuccino, I never got it. I finished breakfast and left. A staff person tracked me down back in my room to pay for the cappuccino. I had to leave a day early due to a medical emergency and they showed no concern and just wanted to be sure I paid 40 pesos for a coke from a fridge. It all left me feeling like they really don’t care they just wanted to make $$.

Beware: Booked through Expedia, half board (defined by Expedia's terms of service as "Half board normally includes breakfast and either lunch or dinner" here it is ONLY Dinner (couldn't get a refund for this). The manager was rude and staff are clearly unhappy with management. Rooms used to be true suites: 3 stories high... no more, since HM, just normal rooms. We got no warning there was construction on site with noise and dust all day long. Food was barely acceptable.

Bed in de woonkamer te klein. Erg licht. Jacuzzi erg verouderd en er waren werkzaamheden tegenover ons die zoveel herrie veroorzaakten dat we 1 dag eerder vertrokken zijn omdat we het niet meer volhielden.

Friendly staff, comfortable well equipped rooms, great location near beach and close enough to shops in the town. Easy to arrange tours through the hotel itself (although I did not shop around much so I don't know if we got good value or "just" good service). Snack bar menu and drinks were great, All Inclusive service all the way to the beach was great.

The buffet for the main dinner was of mixed quality - sometimes great, sometimes just OK. There definitely are mosquitoes on Holbox, so beware of that - and maybe the hotel could combat them a bit more on their own property. It's weird that we had to keep signing for our dinner and bar orders even though we had the all-inclusive packages and each receipt we were signing was for $0.00.

Room 102. #1 the room smells, the day i was leaving (today) the smell is getting worse like sewage. #2 the shower doesn't drain at all. #3 i never had hot water, i thought that was normal cause I never had hot water at a few hotel stays but when my water went out and I reported it, somehow I got hot water. The room is dated as hell, they could at least update the decor or do some murals in the room. It reminds me of the Flintstones.. very dated and old.

Started off our stay with a fairly unpleasant beginning. We were greeted and told that they didn’t have our room- they overbooked. They can put us in a better room for the night, but we will need to move the next day- so essentially, inconveniencing my family as to not inconvenience another family. Mind you, the only differences to the rooms were a 50 Foot walk. We did the hotel the courtesy of obliging without much fuss, but I find out later that they told my husband that we would need to check out at their normal time, and wouldn’t have a room until check in time, putting me and my 2 kids out of a place for 4 hours. A room that we had already paid for. When asked why they would do this, they told my husband that it is just policy. They didn’t even seem to be concerned or apologetic . When I found this out, I asked to speak to the manager- and explained that we did them a favor by being okay with switching rooms mid day, but that it was completely unacceptable to kick me and my family out of a room that we already paid for- as well and completely inhospitable. The gentlemen who was the front desk manager kindly obliged and told us we could stay in our room until our other room was ready. The fact that they didn’t offer this at first is truly mind blowing. The very essence of hospitality was lost to the first two people who checked us in. Now, the property itself is LOVELY. Amazing part of the beach, great pool and very well maintained. The rooms and beds are comfortable, nothing fancy but we were happy. Unfortunately, the unnecessary “hotel rules” really is holding this place back from being a 4 star experience. The staff are very nice, but you can tell that the hotels policies are not “guest first”. There are many annoying inconveniences that were not even explained to us by the front desk at check -in. We had to figure everything out ourselves. For example, they didn’t tell us the hours of service. They didn’t tell us you need to put a deposit down so you can run a tab throughout your stay- we were literally hunted down to pay for a latte, when they have our room number and our credit card on file. It’s ludicrous and annoying. We also had to ask about beach towels- which you also need to pay a deposit for, lol. Anytime you want a towel you need to give them a card and then return them at the end of the day. My sister asked for a spoon and was told “no,” lol. The drinks by pool take longer than drinks by the beach- I have no Idea their system of ordering but three times I waited 20 minutes! I would never do the all inclusive, but the breakfast had a lot of options- I didn’t think it was great but certainly not bad. The sushi restaurant at the upstairs bar was really great- service lacked but he tried. Go there on your first night if you don’t feel like heading to town. This spot is beautiful, but is poorly managed by HM. The employees don’t seem well trained and again, it’s just not guest- centered. I wouldn’t stay again, but if you don’t care about their rules, it’s a nice stay.

Solamente il staff, principalmente la reception, c’era un gruppo in piscina dopo le ore permesse, stavano urlando, ed io ho chiamato tre volte a reception senza che loro facessero niente. C’era troppa sabbia nella camera e ho chiamato perché lavino il pavimento, la donna della pulizia si ha lamentato dicendo che sempre c’è la sabbia, che era impossibile pulirla bene, dopo chiederle di nuovo di lavare il pavimento, l’ha lasciato pulito,,, ma dopo uno scambio sgradevole! Sembra che ci sia un accordo con reception e i taxi dato che la prima volta insistevano che io avevo richiesto un taxi volevano che lo prendesse quasi per forza, cominciano a parlare prima uno e dopo due e tre facendo pressione. La seconda e più strana è che il giorno di far il check out, abbiamo chiamato un taxi che abbiamo conosciuta, la reception si hanno reso conto, di seguito hanno apparito due taxi e di nuovo il staff dicendo che forse la nostra taxi ha chiamato un altro, e dopo dicendo che costava lo stesso, che prendessimo il taxi che hanno chiamato,,,, dopo che nos ha preso la taxi che abbiamo chiamato, ci ha raccontato che loro fanno queste cose sempre

Je suis allée 3 fois à la réception me plaindre et un technicien venait à chaque fois essayer de réparer le problème. Malheureusement le problème revenait de suite après : plus d’eau, plus de pression et pas d’eau chaude

This hotel is simply wow from the moment you arrive. Nestled in an oasis of lush greenery and nature, yet only steps away from a silky-soft sandy beach—easily the best on the island—it truly feels like paradise. We stayed in a junior suite with a private pool, which was amazing. The room was spacious, and our pool enjoyed sunshine all afternoon, making it perfect to spend mornings at the beach and afternoons relaxing in our very own warm pool. The hotel really makes you feel immersed in nature. During our stay, we saw a variety of birds, as well as lizards, iguanas, and the adorable raccoons that left their little footprints around our pool each morning. Breakfast offered a great selection of fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, and traditional Mexican dishes, along with an omelette station for something made to order. We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast basis because we wanted to explore the authentic local restaurants in town, but the prawn tacos and seafood pizza we tried at the hotel one day were absolutely delicious. Every member of staff we encountered was courteous, friendly, and professional. We also enjoyed practising a little Spanish with them, which added a lovely personal touch to our stay. The location was ideal—just a 10 to 15-minute walk into town, where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy. The only thing worth noting, if you’re planning an adults-only style getaway, is that the hotel welcomes families, so there were quite a few children around. It could be a little noisy at times, particularly around the main pool and during breakfast, but it didn’t bother us personally. I’m so glad I chose to stay here—it has left us with wonderful memories of a truly magical trip to Isla Holbox. Gracias!

Hotel should have contacted us to tell us that we should get a taxi. The island is a sand island and after rain the roads are flooded. The hotel had informed us we could walk or get a taxi due to the close proximity. However, they should have contacted us to inform us that they had experience rain and the hotel was not accessible via the walking route. Would have saved us stress!

De beloofde Master Suite had absoluut en totaal geen zeezicht (zelfs niet gedeeltelijk) zoals beloofd en waar ik voor had betaald. Geen excuses en geen uitleg! Onacceptabel.

Great stay at Villa HM Palapas del Mar. Great location on the beach for kids and a short walk into town along the beach which is lovely. The hotel rooms with private plunge pools are clutch with young children!

Der Strand war wunderschön.

Es war auf unserer Yucatan-Reise das Hotel, welches am Meisten enttäuscht hat. Wir waren in 9 Hotels. Betten waren nicht angezogen. Das Fussbad wurde seltener gewechselt als bei anderen. Die Räume waren Dunkel. Es hat nach Urin gerochen. Das Personal in den Restaurants und am Pool war sehr unaufmerksam. Personen mit Voll Inklusiv wurden aufmerksamer bedient. Strandtücher mussten gegen ein Depot Betrag ausgeliehen werden.

De locatie aan het mooiste strand van Isla Holbox, een enorm uitgebreid ontbijt, prachtig verzorgde tuin met leguanen en wasbeertjes. Veel privacy en een prachtige ruime kamer!

El personal muy amable. La ubicación es muy buena y solo esta a unos metros de la.playa, cruzando una callle. Desayuno bastante bueno y bufete también esta bien, aunque ninguno de los dos se puede calificar de excelente pero esta muy de acuerdo con el precio. Después.de hacer el check Out nos prestaron las toallas de la piscina y nos permitieron seguir utilizando las instalaciones.Muchas gracias. Solo una pequeña pega... los coches de alquiler los rentan como mínimo por 4 horas y por este motivo salen algo caros. Hay otros puntos para rentar por una y por dos horas que salen mas económicos. Dos horas creo que es mas que suficiente para recorrer lo mas importante de la isla. Mensaje para la.proiedad. Diganle al pintor.que tenga mas cuidado para que no le caigan gotas de pintura en el suelo, o por lo menos que limpie antes de que se seque. Este último comentario no afecta en absoluto al confort, pero a la vista le hace daño.

Az elhelyezkedése kiváló. Mindennap tisztaság volt, még a homokot is rendezték, gereblyézték hogy mindig ízléses legyen.

Perfect location! Felt super safe as a solo female traveler. Family friendly. Walking distance to everything. Amazing staff! Super clean rooms. Shout out to Antonio at the buffet restaurant he's on point-get the premium package all you can eat and drink totally worth it! The chilaquiles were amazing-had everday for breakfast.The buffet has a different food theme every night which is nice and convenient, plus has a snack menu if you want hamburgers and such. Side note: I highly recommend watching awesome sunsets at Tekio a few steps away from the hotel, for cool djs, drinks and vibes.

Ongoing construction noise, not enough beach/lounge beds for the amount of guests-sadly I never got to use. Some guests would wake up at 7 am just to be able to grab one. Also the bicycles are rusty. Other than that, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely book again. Has a great vibe compared to other spots.

Très bel hôtel pour se relaxer quelques jours à Hollbox Très bon petit déjeuner buffet très varié, chacun y trouve son bonheur entre petit déjeuner plutôt mexicain ou petit déjeuner continental Plage privée à l'écart du centre donc peu de bruit la nuit Très belle et grande chambre, salle de douche magnifique.

Beautiful place that is big enough to offer all the facilities, but feels still comfy and familiar. As others have said, breakfast is amazing. Rooms are bright and spacious, beds are new and comfortable, and the beach is just a few steps away. If I may offer one tiny improvement: marking vegetarian options at the buffet (and there were plenty) would make things a bit easier for vegetarian guests and staff who get asked what's what.

The location is beautiful with a stunning beach and very nice natural surroundings. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide variety of options. The rooms have some wear but also a certain charm that fits the island atmosphere.

Service was inconsistent. Some staff were excellent while others were slow, for example it sometimes took up to an hour to receive drinks from the bar. The main issue was that a cosmetic bag containing a ring and a sentimental armband disappeared from the room after housekeeping entered, even though cleaning had not been requested. We reported this immediately, and the hotel checked with staff but the item was not found and no clear explanation was provided. This was very disappointing. If the item does turn up later, we would of course be very happy to update this review.

Die Zimmer sind schön und haben eine riesige Dusche. Das Reinigungsteam ist super! Die Hotel-Anlage ist umwerfend! Der Strandabschnitt ist wirklich sehr schön und ruhig. Das Serviceteam bei den Strandliegen ist extrem bemüht! Und das Essen sowie die Drinks waren sehr gut. Vor allem die frisch gepressten Säfte waren sehr lecker. Man konnte auch vor Ort Fahrräder ausleihen, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat.

Es gab keine Handseife, weshalb man immer in die Dusche zum Seifenspender laufen musste, um sich die Hände gründlich zu waschen. Zudem hatten wir ein Zimmer, bei dessen Aussicht man auf den Müllplatz blickte (was weniger romantisch ist). Und es war an einigen Abenden sehr laut, weil Hotelgäste herumgebrüllt haben. Da wäre es super, wenn das Hotel etwas unternommen hätte. Das Personal ist sehr lieb, allerdings ist das Service-Team im Restaurant langsam und unzuverlässig. Wir haben an 2 von 3 Tagen unseren Kaffee nicht erhalten, obwohl wir mehrmals darauf aufmerksam gemacht haben. Am letzten Tag hat sich das Team dann aber bemüht :)

Large suites in nice surounding, newly renovated. Located at a very good section of the main beach. Many opportunities to rest on or close to the beach. Good breakfast.

No hooks for the bathroom towels. No shelfs for your clothes in the room and your personal lotions in the shower. No daily drinking water in closed bottels.

Die Hotelanlage ist in einen kleinen Palmendschungel gebaut, was eine super Atmosphäre schafft. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und auch der Bereich am Strand ist sehr schön. Die Auswahl beim Essen ist sehr groß und für jeden ist was dabei. Können das Hotel jedem weiterempfehlen, wir hatten eine tolle Zeit!

La chambre confortable est moderne une superbe douche. L'amabilité du personnel, l'hôtel les chambres sont propres malgré le sable qui est fin. Les ratons laveurs et le chant des oiseaux aux abord de l'hôtel qui nous donnent un goût du paradis. La proximité de la plage et ses transats. Le petit-déjeuner et les repas plage sont bons avec des fruits frais et de bon cocktail.

Nos acomodaron a lado de donde se encontraban construyendo otra habitación, el volumen de la televisión era extremadamente bajo y no se podía subir el volumen (amablemente nos explicaron que estaba configurado así para evitar molestias), la taza de baño tiraba agua y el refrigerador hacia mucho ruido por las noches

Kan verkligen rekommendera Villas HM Paraiso. Läget är perfekt med stranden precis utanför. Väldigt fint boende med direkt närhet till stranden och solbäddarna.

Om man ska klaga på något så var fruktjuicen som man beställde i juicebaren på frukosten vattnig. Hade varit bra med en borste på rummet så man kan sopa ut sanden. Men annars var det ett fantastiskt boende.
