The full Irish breakfast was top class. Probably the best I’ve ever had at a quality hotel. And I’m lucky and travel a lot. Very large and comfy beds.
Didn’t like the outside designated smoking location. I don’t smoke. It’s close to the main entrance and adjacent to the ramped entrance. Horrid.
Good standard of accommodation friendly staff. Reception (Darren) accommodated a late check out even though hotel was busy - this greatly improved our stay. Appreciated the robes & slippers in room elevated stay.
Water pressure isnt great - i was REALLY looking forward to a bath but bc of the water pressure it took AGES to draw but thats the only minor inconvenience.
Good food , and the staff were delightful. Our room was very comfortable with all the little extras that make the difference. Would happily stay again.
My room was spacious, comfy, and clean. Coffee maker is always a lovely perk too! Staff were so friendly and helpful too
breakfast was excellent, staff very efficient and friendly, location was good, quick walk to the town centre
There were no tea/coffee items in the room, presumably an oversight as there was a small coffee making machine
Everything stay was perfect
Noting
Lovely decor very classy and well maintained
There was no decent chair in the rooms to relax in I am a larger lady and prefer a hig back chair , I had to sit in the lift lobby for a comfortable chair to read my book in the evening. Didn’t feel the quality of food at Dotts bar was of the same standard as the restaurant
All excellent, top notch
I thought it was an excellent hotel
Lovely room, clean, comfy, great food, friendly staff. Highly recommend
Nothing
Excellent hotel. Very nice, good location for visiting Tralee and Kerry county. The breakfast deserved 5 stars hotel rating and is on luxury hotel level. Other meals exceptional as well.
nothing in particular
Love hotel and very accommodating staff
Excellent staff and location
Shower Water Pressure & Lack of extras - Body Lotion Slippers & Bathrobe. An high end hotel should have these facilities.
Service was excellent 👌
Twin room...I expected 2 double beds, so I was disappointed as one had to sleep in a single bed for £189 per night .
Bella camera, personale molto gentile, ottima colazione.
.
Beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely staff. Very comfy room with everything you need. Near town centre. Fabulous breakfast. Dinner great also
Nothing. All great. Just a tiny suggestion. Extra milks and biscuits on tea tray.
Modern hotel with excellent staff.. They were very well trained and very helpful
Spacious, luxurious,clean
Absolutely nothing
The hotel was stunning and the rooms we spotless but your staff are amazing we had the lovely Abby on reception and she made us feel extremely welcome she's an absolute credit to ye !
Sehr schönes, imposantes Hotel. Extrem freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Außergewöhnlich gutes Frühstück - Á la Carte + Buffet, alles super frisch und lecker… Jederzeit wieder.
Large room Great food

Modern Hotel on the Wild Atlantic Way and major routes with parking and within easy reach of Tralee Town Centre, Park, Sports facilities, Museum and Tourist Information. Staff friendly and efficient. Room comfortable. Breakfast lots of choice buffet style with tea and coffee brought to your table. Enjoyed Dinner there on Friday 10 July and lunch in the Bar with relatives Saturday 11 July.
Nothing.
We hadn’t stayed here in awhile but it just keeps getting better, we are just back from a two nights stay. Cannot fault the hotel everything was fabulous. Amy and Mary in the restaurant were great both mornings Ellen on reception had great knowledge of the hotel and surrounding areas we had drinks in Dotts bar and the atmosphere was great! 😊 can’t wait to return
Staff are so friendly and helpful...Hotel is lovely...clean comfortable, bright and cheerful...couldn't recommend highly enough
Thanks to the restaurant staff, they are friendly and willing to help with anything especially with my kids during break fast time. The receptionists are exceptional. Location of the hotel is quite good as well. And the discount price actually attracted me in the first place. Thanks to all the staff for their excellent services.
First time to stay at the Rose and most certainly won't be the last. The standards were extremely high and the staff so professional and courteous throughout our stay. I could not find a single fault with this Hotel. Food and breakfast was excellent. Shall be highly recommending this Hotel to family and friends. By far our most enjoyable stay of all Hotels we have stayed in around Ireland
Great experience. Staff were outstanding. Food was great. Room was perfect for the family. Location was great. No concerns
The kids game for the chocolate.
The 4th bed was a camp bed
My wife, mother-in-law, 4-year-old daughter, and I called into the Rose Hotel hoping to have dinner. When we entered the restaurant, a waitress told us that we couldn’t eat there because it was for residents only. We left, as I’ve never been refused service at a hotel restaurant before. What made the situation even more disappointing was that shortly afterwards, a couple staying at the nearby Woodlands Caravan Park walked straight into the restaurant and were seated for dinner without any issue. (By the way, Woodlands Caravan Park is fantastic and well worth a visit if you’re touring.) I went back to reception to ask for clarification, and the receptionist told me that the restaurant is actually open to everyone. That only made the experience more confusing and frustrating. I feel we were treated unfairly, and it’s disappointing that one member of staff turned us away while others were clearly being welcomed in. I hope the hotel looks into what happened so no other family has the same experience.
Excellent hotel . Very clean, breakfast is fantastic as is all the food. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We are return guests and will be back again in the near future.
Coach holiday to Ireland. Stayed here a couple of nights. Beautiful hotel, rooms lovely with air conditioning.
I honestly cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed with warm smiles and made to feel at home. Every member of staff was so friendly, helpful, and genuinely couldn't do enough for us. The hotel itself is spotless, with exceptional cleanliness throughout. We dined in both restaurants during our stay, and the food was absolutely spectacular. Every meal was delicious, and the service was outstanding. My daughter had the most amazing time in the Kids' Club. She couldn't wait to go back every evening, which made our stay even more special. A special thank you to Jenny Francis, who went above and beyond to make my daughter's birthday one she'll always remember. Her kindness and thoughtfulness meant so much to us. I could go on and on about how incredible our stay was, but words truly don't do it justice. Thank you to everyone for making our visit so memorable. We can't wait to return and make even more wonderful memories. Highly recommended!
Took our daughter out for lunch at Dotts Bar last Saturday, everything was perfect. The staff are always so lovely, we said that she was on her lunch break and the food arrived super quick (even though it was very busy). The food was beautiful, as always. Couldn’t be happier. I don’t know why you’d eat anywhere else!
We’ve been staying at the Rose since 2020 & it continues to uphold its high standard. Staff are exceptional & we will be back in 2027.
Great customer service I have stayed at the Rose Hotel twice before Great location very clean Hotel the meal option could be improved
Lovely room with balcony. Great breakfast
Nothing
Standard of absolutely everything at 5 star - breakfast was table service… loved that… buffet for usual cereals etc… perfect
Nothing
Beautiful hotel, breakfast was included and very good. The bar food was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Always plenty of parking available despite the hotel being busy. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. The hotel called me a few days before arrival to ask if there were any special occasions for our stay, when I said it was an anniversary, they had an anniversary display for us in our room. An appreciated added touch
The flush on the toilet was a bit weak
Great location, helpful & friendly staff. Rooms are very nice & they had cold AC. Such a nice surprise in the sweltering heat! Food in the bar area was outstanding with some nice choices like an amazing lamb dish. Very close to the famous Tralee rose garden.
The hotel was spotlessly clean, and everything was very well maintained. The service in the restaurant was outstanding – the staff were professional, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. We also loved the beautiful view from our room. The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient for exploring the area.
The shower was extremely uncomfortable. I'm only 165 cm tall and have a slim build, but it still felt very cramped and difficult to use. I honestly don't know how taller or larger people could fit comfortably. The mattress was also too firm for us, and we both woke up with sore muscles. Early in the morning, children were running and shouting in the corridor. It would be much better if couples without children could be accommodated separately from families with children.
Tout. L'accueil, la chambre spacieuse, la salle de bain magnifique, le parking couvert, la possibilité de charger sa voiture électrique à très bon prix, le petit déjeuner, tout, tout, tout
Rien
The staff were superb & attentive

This is a beautiful hotel, decor is so pretty and every room kept really well. The staff were so friendly and professional. Breakfast was lovely. Lots of fresh fruit and beautiful smoked salmon and cold meats if you didn't want the full Irish option. It was table service for hot breakfasts which ensured tasty, nicely cooked food. All the waiting staff were very efficient and welcoming. We will definitely go there again if in Tralee.
Lovely place to stay beautiful gluten free breakfast available.staff very friendly and helpful.tralee town nearby.
We stayed at the Rose right before & right after our three day hike from Tralee to Dingle. The breakfast is one of the very best, as is the service—we couldn’t ask for better. The Rose staff are the best. We loved the live music of Pat Pierse in the bar. We also enjoyed the hotel’s proximity to the Lee River Trail and the wetlands Park—wonderful walks right outside the hotel’s door.
We loved it all.
We had two stays at the Rose Hotel in one week; one before our 3-day Dingle Way hike, and this stay following the hike. Both stays were among the most enjoyable hotel visits we’ve had in Europe.
There was nothing not to love.
Lovely hotel with good accommodation and great food. xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx
Jus no messing about as soon as Ur in the door u are made feel like a person rather than a number

I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel and the staff who were lovely. We stayed here for three nights as part of a motorcycle tour and would have stayed longer… The hotel is large, spacious, clean and comfortable throughout with ample parking above and below ground. Our room was very comfortable and quiet throughout our stay. It had a safe, iron/board, tea/coffee, water bottles, tv, fridge and a large en-suite, basically everything you need. At night all was quiet so we slept very well. Breakfast was varied and very good with the usual cooked/continental options all served by very busy and very friendly staff. There is a busy bar but also plenty of quiet areas to sit and relax. Unfortunately we did not experience any of the spa/fitness/health facilities (maybe next time). Obviously the hotel has a ‘Rose of Tralee’ theme which helps maintain the charm of the hotel. A ten minutes walk through the local park gets you to the town centre and local pubs & restaurants. All in all, a great place to stay… a little towards the expensive side and bar prices can be a bit of a shock (at times), but it does deliver on comfort!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was just perfect and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable!
The best breakfast ever delicious! fab hotel will definitely return, comfy beds also. Breakfast staff were very accommodating and friendly
Have stayed in the Rose for the last 2 years while at a work event in Tralee. The service is always great from initial group booking with Ellen, to a last minute change at the reception desk with Abbey. Good big rooms, nice breakfast and a pleasant bar & restaurant with some nice dinner options. Always plenty of parking and a short walk to the town center.
Das Frühstück wird am Tisch serviert, die Bar/Restaurant im Hotel ist ganz wunderbar und das Essen sehr gut.
Superb hotel, and a must when you are visiting Tralee, it's only a stones throw from the main town. Rooms are stunning, food quality excellent and not overly priced. Clean and well kept, this hotel needs to be visited.
My sister a friend and myself have afternoon tea. The ambiance was relaxing exactly what we wanted after a busy morning. The food and service was first class. We loved the background music, it really added to making our meal very enjoyable. The cleanliness was excellent.
Very pleasant staff...... excellent breakfast.
Great atmosphere, really helpful staff, on check-in and check out Abbey was helpful, attentive and could not do enough for us. When it came to the waiting staff in Dotts bar, they were fantastic especially Peter and Shane. They both made time for us making us feel special and important and had our orders tended to quickly. Peter's stories were fun and interesting which made the experience so good. And Shane's foresight meant our glasses were never empty. Great team working in this establishment!!!! We are already planning our next visit to The Rose Hotel!!!!

We stayed for one night and I’d booked a standard room but when I went to online check in I asked for Wheelchair accessible. I got a phone call from Darren in the reception to confirm and he said there was none left but give him 20 mins and he rang back to say it was sorted. He was so professional. On arrival I was getting me mothers wheelchair out and one of the bags. Micheal was outside picking up bits of rubbish as he told ya later and asked us did we need help. I grabbed the rest of the stuff from the car and he helped us with our bags all the way to the room. Very courteous and very helpful young man. That evening we were in Dotts Bar in the hotel and Shane served us in the bar all night. Shane was so lovely and polite all night. Couldn’t do enough for us. The food was beautiful too. Everything served hot and fresh. The night we stayed it was my father’s 1st anniversary and my parents used to visit here quite a lot. They got very friendly with one of the girls at breakfast called Amy. Amy came to see us that night and we had a lovely evening. My mom just wanted me to mention Amy because she’s a great worker and really looked after both my parents when they were there. We hope now to make this a tradition and come visit in memory of my dad. Thankyou to all at the Rose Hotel who made it a very pleasant experience. Niamh.
Clean, comfortable. Great breakfast. Ate at the hotel in the evening, food, service and staff were great.
We went to the Rose hotel this weekend for bar food , our first time , with our two children. The food was really good , and plentiful served by a lovely young girl called Mia. She was very attentive and kept chatting to our kids , picking up every thing they kept dropping The place was very busy ,always a great sign We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Tralee
I stayed two nights in this beautiful hotel, first experience with this hotel and I was blown away with how accommodating the staff are. Abbey at the reception made the checking in process so easy. On my first morning for breakfast I met Mary who showed me the vast selection of gluten free options after explaining to her that I was coeliac. I was amazed that there were so many options from sweet to savoury. Best gluten free selection I have seen in any hotel. I will be making this a regular stay for my business trips in the future. Thank you for making my stay so welcome.
Just wanted to say a big thank you to the staff of the rose hotel , we had a lovely dinner last night but when a member of our party took a turn from heat exhaustion after the recent heatwave , the staff went over and above to make her comfortable and helped her recover
We booked this hotel at the very last minute and we are very glad we did. The quality of the hotel was excellent and all the staff were polite and helpful. We would like to especially mention Jennifer who went out of her way to assist us.
Beautiful property and excellent service
