Spacious room. Clean bathroom. Nice staff

There was a fairground right outside the window so the noise during the day was unbearable. The beds are ancient and not good for someone with a bad back like me. Really old hotel in general

I stay in hotels all across Ireland, so I was genuinely surprised when I saw some of the negative reviews — I honestly can’t understand them. My stay here was right up there with the better hotels I’ve used. Joanne at reception was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, and the newly refurbished bathroom had an excellent shower. Even the TV worked perfectly, which is a rarity in many hotels I’ve stayed in. I’ll definitely be returning to this hotel.

It would be nice to be able to eat on the terrace where there are drinks only.

Staff went out of their way to try and accommodate our request of having our two rooms close by, even though it was not possible. Hotel has a great location, and the rooms are functional and great value for money.

While the rooms we had were refurbished, the common areas were a bit dated. The hotel is frequented by tour groups, so do keep that in mind, though honestly it didn't bother us all that much.

It’s right out of the 1990s. Massive key to lug around. Hangers attached to wardrobe & iron attached to ironing board so it’s impossible to use. Dated & worn generally. And it’s just uncomfortable to use the room. Hanging items up hides the only full length mirror. No plugs anywhere near the beds. The shower handle/shelf fitted exactly where you stand so you can’t actually take a proper shower without gymnastics. Food is bland & tasteless. Breakfast was so poor we skipped it. With so many lovely places on offer, don’t book this one. Unfortunately, we had a friend pre-booked here so we joined them, despite having picked a much nicer hotel for similar price. Will never again make that mistake.

I liked the room and the breakfast was pretty good

The staff are kind and helpful. The parking is huge with easy access to the hotel.

By my own car I had to park it at the public parking before the checkin because is there where they will allow me to get access to the parking. They could improve it for their clients. They changed the room that I choose and said that it was an upgrade. The room was old, smelling dust and it was hot that day with no air conditioner. The staff helped giving me a fun but it only blow hot air due to the weather that day. At their restaurant the fish and chips were greasy.

Room for as v clean but quite dated. The hotel is very central and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. We were staying 1 night to attend a funeral the following afternoon. The hotel allowed us to leave our car in the carpark until late afternoon while we attended the funeral with no extra cost.

The room got quite warm in the night, it was difficult to sleep despite having the window slightly open. Breakfast choice could be a little better.

Große und saubere Zimmer :) das Hotelpersonal war äußerst freundlich und konnte bei Problemen helfen. Zusätzlich hat mir die Lage sehr gefallen, da man innerhalb von 5-10 Minuten Fußweg in einen wunderschönen Park gelangen konnte. Restaurants sind auch direkt um die Ecke.

Leisure centre in poor condition, pool room not particularly clean and quite old and dated, steam room had a bad odour, jacuzzi empty and had a lot of dirt on the bottom just a slight eye sore

Die Information fehlte, dass man vor dem Hotel links gleich in den Parkplatz fahren kann. Von dort gibt es einen direkten Zugang zum Hotel. Das war verwirrend

No AC in thr room

Breakfast was reasonable, hotel in general was good, waiting staff in bar were a mix of very good and not great. Waited 20 minutes for desert and eventually asked another member of staff. No luggage rack in room, beds were not comfortable. Breakfast staff were excellent as were reception staff. Great location.

Fantastic hotel. Very clean. Great food. Very friendly and experienced staff especially ronan that works in the bar.. Best of luck to him getting his leaving cert results on Friday. This lovely pleasant 'helpful young man is a great asset to the hotel.. all the staff were amazing.. we were a party of 15 and nothing was too much bother for any of the staff at this hotel..

It is very expensive for what it is. And the breakfast was not even included.

Breakfast staff were lovely especially the red hair girl with the plait..she went out of her way to help ..The foreign girl at reception also went out of her way to help us changing our room as my husband had mobility issues ..unfortunately the older blonde lady that was working reception at the same time was no way helpful..she certainly would not encourage me to return...

Everything else was fine apart from when we asked for fresh towels for our room as we were staying a few days the cleaning lady told us she would get us some when she finished her lunch
