Meadowlands Hotel

Breakfast was in the hotel restaurant area and was good. Dinner was in the pub "Johnny Frank"s Bar" which was located at front of the hotel, with access from the hotel. The food was excellent and good value, staff were friendly and helpful. Room was ok, the bedding had seen better days and the pillows were lumpy, but overall it was clean, and the housekeeping was good. The bathroom had a shower over the bath, which only seemed to dispense very hot water, no matter how we adjusted the temperature knob. Overall though it was a good stay.

The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable and bed linen was well worn. The bathroom had a shower over the bath and the water temperature knob did not make any difference to the water temperature which was very hot. There was however, an anti slip mat provided that was clean and a grab handle on the wall.

Breakfast was fantastic — the variety for food intolerances was genuinely impressive. It’s rare to see a hotel offer such a wide and thoughtful selection, and it made the mornings completely stress‑free. Everything was clearly labelled, fresh, and easy to navigate, which I really appreciated. A great stay made even better by how well they catered for different dietary needs

We were disappointed with our anniversary dinner. Although we had booked a table in the restaurant, we were seated in the bar instead — something that wasn’t mentioned at any point. The bar was extremely noisy, with a loud TV, which completely took away from what should have been a special evening. The food itself was good, but the setting was not suitable for a dinner booking.

Hôtel très bien situé pour faire la péninsule de Dingle et partir le lendemain prendre le ferry à Tarbert. Personnel très accueillant aussi bien à l'hôtel qu'au restaurant.

The breakfast team was amazing! Always friendly, smiling and remembered our orders after the first day.

The bed was a bit stiff and there was a small of cigarettes because our room was above the conference centre doors.

We liked the staff at the Breakfast Room, one lady (do not have a name) who went above and beyond what was required. We brought down our mugs from the room as we don't like the small cups for breakfast and each morning she was at the ready and heated our two mugs in advance of the tea being served. A small touch but a lovely gesture. Thank you staff member

We had a drink in the bar one night, did not like the high chairs in the bar area. There was small tables in the proximity of the bar area but they were not an option as 'Reserved' were written on the table. We only had the one drink!!!

A bit pricey compared to other hotels around

The hotel looked fabulous on arrival and we were able to park very near Reception. The room was a very good size with comfortable beds, very clean and a lovely bathroom. We ate in the hotel restaurant which was really good and a fair price. Breakfast was also good.

The room was very spacious and the chairs for sitting at the table in the room were very comfortable. The pillows were soft. The breakfast was included in the price and there was a really good choice for breakfast and the food was fresh and really nice. Staff were lovely too.

We were disappointed with the food in the restaurant. The portions weren't great for the price and also the presentation could have been better. The food was OK and we did eat it but it really could be a little bit of a bigger portion and better presented.

The small garden that I visited 4 yrs ago with my late wife looked a little tired...but I appreciate that the weather has been dry recently. Only a small point folks as it is still a lovely garden :-)

Lovely comfortable room, Lots of parking available outside and good facilities in hotel.and a secluded garden area outside which was lovely. Breakfast was amazing with some buffet items but main breakfast cooked to order which lots of choices and good portions

Very friendly and attentive staff at the restaurant, good food & drinks, and at the hotel they paid attention and communicated well amongst themselves so that even with a change of shift, our afternoon requests for the following morning, were fully attended to and impeccably delivered.

Staff exceptional. Room was spacious, well equipped, and room A/C saved from the heat. Breakfast was lovely, same with dinner and drinks at the Bar. Lovely seating areas in front of hotel, extra cosy.

only minus personally for us was the mattress. unfortunately, we couldn't sleep both nights at all, it was uncomfortable.
