The rooms need better cleaning and repair. Shower head leaked , the tub did not drain even though I suggested they fix them they were not attended. Breakfast service was slow, they would not clear tables or bring cutlery ti let other guest sit

Foi tudo muito bom! No bar da piscina tem um almoço com grelhados maravilhoso. Destaque para a funcionária Manusa no bar e para o funcionário Everson da recepção.

O hotel é mais antigo, falta modernizar os quartos.

Très mauvaise expérience dans cet hôtel, qui est loin de correspondre au standing et au prix affiché. L’hôtel est vieillissant et la chambre était mal entretenue. Le pommeau de douche fuyait de partout et, après une simple douche, la salle de bain s’est retrouvée complètement inondée. Autre problème très inquiétant : la porte d’entrée de notre chambre ne se fermait pas correctement. Depuis l’extérieur, il suffisait simplement de pousser la porte pour l’ouvrir. Nous avons immédiatement signalé le problème à la réception. La réceptionniste nous a répondu de ne pas nous inquiéter puisqu’il y avait quelqu’un à la réception toute la nuit et que, selon elle, « il ne pouvait rien arriver ». Nous avons trouvé cette réponse totalement inacceptable, surtout lorsqu’il s’agit de la sécurité des clients. Nous avons insisté pour ne pas rester dans ces conditions et avons demandé à changer de chambre. Ce n’est que le lendemain que l’hôtel a finalement accepté de nous déplacer dans une autre chambre. Le petit-déjeuner était bon, avec un choix correct, mais rien d’exceptionnel et certainement pas à la hauteur de ce que l’on peut attendre d’un hôtel 4 étoiles. Concernant la piscine, les transats sont gratuits, ce qui est appréciable. En revanche, les transats sur la plage de l’hôtel sont facturés 25 € par personne. Au vu du prix déjà très élevé de la chambre, nous avons trouvé cela particulièrement scandaleux. Étant habitués à séjourner dans de beaux hôtels, nous pouvons clairement dire que cette expérience a été l’une des pires que nous ayons vécues. Cet hôtel ne vaut absolument pas le prix demandé. Nous ne comprenons d’ailleurs pas comment Booking peut proposer cet établissement à de tels tarifs. Il serait vraiment nécessaire que l’état réel de l’hôtel soit vérifié avant de le proposer à ce niveau de prix.

Un hotel 4 stelle NON può assolutamente fare i turni per far mangiare gli ospiti (pranzo o mangi alle 12 o alle 13.30 invece per la cena alle 19 o alle 20.30) ma la cosa più assurda è che quando arrivi e scopri questa cosa NON puoi prenotare il tuo orario per tutto il soggiorno, ma devi ogni giorno fare prenotazione all Desk Questa assurda usanza NON viene detta al momento che prenoti su sito ma la scoprirai all arrivo. I lettini con ombrellone sono a pagamento (35 euro prima fila e 25 altre file - costo giornaliero) Invece a bordo piscina sono gratis peccato che per chi sceglie il pranzo mangerà vicino a bambini urlanti , tuffi e schizzi visto che i tavoli confinano con la vasca. Ultima nota....un hotel 4 stelle che fa pagare 2 euro per ogni cambio telo mare per piscina o spiaggia è veramente da ridere.

A proximidade à praia, a familiaridade. Várias famílias, crianças a brincar à vontade na piscina. E apesar disso, há um ambiente calmo. A logística com crianças fica muito facilitada pela proximidade à praia e disponibilidade de refeições a vários horários tão perto da piscina e da praia. A simpatia e disponibilidade dos funcionários. E as refeições variadas e saborosas.

O quarto já antigo, fita cola nas cortinas, sofás muito velhos e sujos, cortinas sujas, candeeiro do quarto danificado. E ao entrar no quarto sente-se um cheiro que não é fresco, talvez de canalizações antigas.

Cheguei ou dia 07/08/2026 ao meio dia, desde ou meio dia asta as 17.00 onde ainda não tinha uma habitação despois de tanto falhar e pregunta o que acontecia, colocar-me em um quarto que não estava em condições já que tinha dois lagartijas dentro do quarto, ou comando do ar condicionado não funcionava, logo ou ar condicionado tampoco funcionava, e acontecendo tudo isto pedí inmediatamente que me mudarem de quarto, e que tiverem em condições tomando em conta que estava com minha mãe que tem 85 anos, não aguantei mais pedi inmediatamente ou libro de reclamações. Então em esse momento procuraram ou quarto enseguida desde esse momento posso decir que tudo mudo um quarto em condições com ar condicionado. Me pregunta é a seguinte porque temos que esperar pasar por tudo esto para ter condições. Do restante os empregados 5 estrelas todos muito atentos e muita boa atenções

Unser Aufenthalt im Vila Baleira Suites war einfach hervorragend. Die schöne Lage, die sauberen und komfortablen Zimmer sowie die gepflegte Anlage haben uns sehr gefallen. Was diesen Urlaub jedoch wirklich besonders gemacht hat, war die außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeiter. Selten haben wir ein Hotel erlebt, in dem sich das gesamte Team mit so viel Herzlichkeit um seine Gäste kümmert. Jeder Mitarbeiter begegnete uns stets mit einem Lächeln, war aufmerksam, professionell und immer bereit zu helfen. Man hatte jederzeit das Gefühl, nicht nur Gast zu sein, sondern wirklich willkommen zu sein. Ob an der Rezeption, im Restaurant, beim Housekeeping oder in anderen Bereichen – alle waren unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und engagiert. Jede Frage wurde geduldig beantwortet, jeder Wunsch nach Möglichkeit erfüllt. Diese echte Gastfreundschaft hat unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht und ist heute leider nicht selbstverständlich. Die Mitarbeiter sind das Herz dieses Hotels und verdienen ein ganz besonderes Lob. Dank ihrer Herzlichkeit, Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft haben wir uns vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag rundum wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für die unvergessliche Zeit. El servicio amable de todo el personal, especialmente de Filipe En el bar, desde la recepción hasta los restaurantes y el bar, todo excelente . Buena ubicación, limpio, buen acceso a la playa , muy tranquilo , una piscina amplia.

La decoración y el color del piso de la habitación, le falta decoración y más estilo . Pero me fascinaron las almohadas, muy cómodas.

Great for one nights stay, we booked last minute as our flight landed on Porto santo instead of Madeira but it suited us fine. The view was great from the pool.

Only minus was the lack of facilities in off season (April) we couldn’t get coffee or breakfast in the mornings. There was also a dead pigeon in our garden which wasn’t cleared.

Apartamentos limpos, bem equipados. Acesso a todas as comodidades do hotel Vila Baleia (piscina interior de água quente, bar, restaurantes). Funcionários prestáveis, simpáticos.

Apenas sugeria a substituição da banheira por polibam.

Location excellent - accommodation great - NOT been critical (kitchen utensils perhaps up grade - wine & whiskey glasses) will love to go back (hopefully the weather will be better.

Gostei da localização, mesmo em cima da praia. Da tranquilidade.

Estava a decorrer as comemorações dos 25 anos do Hotel Vila Baleira, os funcionários nao sabiam infornar nada do que ia acontecer. Os hoteis sao do grupo, distam poucos metros e a comunicação entre as equipas é inexistente. No dia da inauguração do Itho, os hóspedes viram retirados alguns serviços como o bar da piscina do Suites e obviamente o restaurante do Vila Baleira estava a abarrotar. Entendo que se trate de uma festa para convidados, mas os hospedes que ali estavam e a pagar não foram de todo envolvidos na celebração.Nem no espetaculo nem simplesmente no partir do bolo de aniversário. O Hotel tem obtido um sucesso de 25 anos porque tem clientes, que como eu, já repetiram muitas vezes a sua estadia e o minimo era sentirem que eram bem vindos, ao inves de andarem a ser empurrados de restaurante em restaurante porque estavam a decorrer festas privadas. O pior é que no dia seguinte o serviço não voltou à normalidade e o bar/restaurante da piscina nao voltou a funcionar nem com refeições nem com snacks. E aos hospedes? Nem uma palavra. Já o bar da praia em toda a minha estadia nunca esteve aberto. Se nós pagamos um serviço era suposto este corresponder às nossas expectativas.

Alimentação , nem sempre adorei a comida e pouca variedade no pequeno almoço principalmente , por exemplo a fruta era sempre a mesma. Durante 2 dias os kiwis estavam super verdes .

Great hotel and beach

This is at best a 3 star hotel that has a 5 star beach. The rooms are very basic and quite dated. Breakfast was horrible and there is no fresh coffee, you can only get some from a dispenser machine until the pool bar opens later in the day. The staff was friendly overall but we found it very odd to be told a few days into our stay we had to leave the beach and go to the pool if we had not booked beach chairs ahead of time when there was always several of them sitting empty. Would I recommend this resort, probably not. Would I stay again, absolutely not.

Sem dúvida que a mais valia deste hotel é a sua localização.

Os quartos são bastante datados, com muitas marcas de uso. No meu caso, as portas do roupeiro abriam com muita dificuldade. Em relação aos funcionários, com muito pouca formação, falta de atenção e na recepção, a discrepância nas informações dadas eram uma constante. No entanto, eram simpáticos, mas isso só não chega. As refeições, nomeadamente ao almoço, também eram um pouco limitadas e quem não fosse dos primeiros a ir almoçar, já tinham pouca opção de escolha, principalmente nas sobremesas. O atendimento nem sempre foi o melhor, pelo que devem repensar em formar bem as pessoas antes de as colocar no atendimento. Ninguém foi desagradável, mas a falta de formação e capacidade era notória até em pequenos detalhes. Quem viaja em regime tudo incluído, espera outro tipo de atendimento e condições de alojamento.

Hotel a necessitar de uma reforma geral Regime tudo Incluído muito pobre, utilizando sempre bebidas de 3º escolha , as bolas de berlim na Praia tem de ser pagas a parte . Uma Vergonha !! O bar da Praia so abre as 11 e 30 !!! Não tem Restaurante buffet , temos que nos deslocar a outro hotel ir pela rua ate outro Hotel Piscina muito pequena Para ir comer ficamos a cheirar a comida, a ventilação não funciona . HORRIVEL !!!!

Gostamos muito! Foi uma agradável surpresa. Encontramos um hotel à beira mar com um ambiente familiar e acolhedor que sabe receber muito bem o seu hóspede. Um hotel que dá importância ao detalhe, desde a decoração à música ambiente, onde fomos muito recebidos sobretudo pela excelente equipa, sempre sorridente e disponível para ajudar e agradar para que a estadia fosse memorável. Um sítio para voltar, com certeza ☺️!

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super. Man ist schnell am Pool und am Strand. Das Essen war ebenfalls gut.

Os funcionários são simpáticos. O lobby do hotel está muito giro. A praia é de fácil acesso.

Os quartos estavam limpos, mas algumas coisas não estavam bem (num deles o sofá estava um pouco estragado, as toalhas já estão gastas e não havia reposição de água se não fosse pedido, por exemplo). A comida não é nada de especial e tive dificuldade em adaptar para o bebé. No entanto, sempre que pedia algo os funcionários tentaram ajudar. Acho que é mesmo a qualidade da comida e variedade que podiam melhorar bastante, as frutas eram sempre as mesmas, por exemplo. Acabamos por optar por ir sempre ao Vila Baleira Perto Santo fazer as refeições principais, pois lá tinham maior oferta.

Very worth the price! Quiet location with superb beach and poolarea. The a la carte restaurant was very good with excellent personel. The golfcourse was challenging and very diverse. Quite small Island so if you do not play golf or is a 16 hrs sunbather you minst finf one week a bit long, but it is well worth it.

A great hotel situated right on the beach at the quieter end of the island. We had a good sized apartment, with a bedroom with very big double bed and large wardrobe, a good sized living room with sofa, table and small kitchen area, and a bathroom with shower over the bath. It looked like our room had recently been decorated, as the paintwork was very clean. The breakfast was great, with plenty of hot or cold items to choose from. The beach immediately in front of the hotel was very quiet when we were there (mid May) and there were always sun beds available when we wanted them. Beach towels were provided in the bedrooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were very happy with the room and facilities for the price we paid.

Our room lock was difficult to open with the key at times, and there were a couple of minor plumbing issues in the bathroom. We reported these when we left, so hopefully they will be resolved for the next guests. We had a "mountain view" room, which overlooks the road. Unfortunately there were roadworks going on for the duration of our stay. This, of course, was no fault of the hotel and, as they didn't start till 0800 each day, we were already up by then. They are probably gone by now anyway!

We enjoyed our stay

Following an accident that meant I was unable to ski, we decided on a trip to Madeira over New Year. Whilst researching, I was captivated by the beautiful island of Porto Santo that I had never heard of. We got the ferry over and stayed at the Vila Baleria Suites. The location is absolutely perfect fronting onto the must incredible (and quiet) beach you could imagine. There are few paradise islands that could compete!! We had a wonderful few days exploring the island on e-bikes, diving and sampling some exceptional food (Torres Restaurant was epic). The Vila Baleria group are investing heavily in the locality with new accommodation under construction. There was a mix up with the bill, but here is the thing. Mistakes always happen however careful you are. How you address them defines a business? Bruno Martins the general manager and Goncalo Teixeira were exceptional and define customer service. Thank you to both and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Perfektes Hotel für eine Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern, um das Meer und die tolle Insel und den schönen Sandstrand zu genießen. Unglaublich nettes Hotelpersonal, die zu jederzeit ansprechbar waren.

Nice rooms for longer stays and the ability to go to the other hotel and use the indoor pool the breakfast is nice but lacks some variety

The cleaning staff wasn't very thorough and the lack of indoor pool/jacuzzi in this hotel for the price you pay they should have one or the other

We stayed in a apartment for 5 nights. It was on the ground floor and it took us 1 min to walk from our room to the magical beach of Porto Santo. The room was big and cozy and it felt good to stay there. The breakfast was nice. The only negative thing about our stay was the fact the pool was close due to urgent repair work. This wasn´t known when we booked and we only found out when we arrived. The hotel offered no compensation was offer for this. But with the hotel being on the beach this issue with the pool was not a big thing for us. It was easy to get a taxi and the nearest bus stop is ca 300 m from the hotel. But the nearest grocery story is ca 1,5 km away.

Best thing about this hotel is the location but it unfortunately gets let down by the reservation and front of house team in particular. Very unwelcoming, couldn’t seem to care less and do not bother informing the guests about any of the restaurants or facilities and policies at check in. After confirming a sea view room twice I arrive to be told we don’t have one. Spent 45 minutes going back and forth with my elderly parents and tired toddler waiting to only then eventually get the room I originally booked. They still list facilities that no longer exist or are closed for renovation and do not inform you of this at the time of booking. We were not able to have dinner on our first night or lunch at the pool on our last day because no one informed us that you had to make a reservation for both the day before a certain cut off time. Breakfast is very basic and again staff need to be promted to clear dirty plates and cups. All is all apart from the location this hotel experience left much to be desired.

The best is the location because the hotel is right on the beach, you only need to walk 100 meters from the hotel door to the water front. The staff are exceedingly friendly and professional. Although a little bit old, the hotel and the rooms are always kept very clean.

Only the fact that the hotel building is old and general maintenance is required. Also, the pool has green water, but you don't really need a swimming pool when the beach has such calm, crystalline and warm water. There are a lot of children, but it's a family hotel, you should know that when you book on it.

I had an absolutely wonderful time and so grateful to everyone who works at the hotel for making my stay so memorable ❤️ The property is right on the beach which I believe is the only one on the coast, it’s further away from the centre but still walkable or with easy bus or taxi ride: I would strongly recommend to anyone to check this place out :)

Brilliant location, right on the beach. Lovely swimming pool, kids really enjoyed it. Staff were great as well, very accommodating. All in all, lovely stay

Deep pool. Not all the staff spoke English, and generally not very friendly but nothing major. Bartender Rivaldo was really great, friendly, cheerful, and made fantastic cocktails!
