All of the above aside, the level of service that you will receive from every staff member, at any position, is what separates this property from its competitors. High staff to guest ratio enables the employees to establish relationships with their guests which makes your stay memorable. Staff standouts for this stay were AL and MICHAEL, amongst many others.

There is no better place to stay in Toronto than The Hazelton Hotel. The hotel's location in Yorkville provides a residential neighborhood while still being surrounded by amazing boutique shops and luxury brands, with an assortment of food, beverage, and entertainment options all within a 2-3 block radius. The hotel's staff is super attentive and friendly, taking care of just about anything you might need. The room was spacious and comfortable. Loved the pillow menu, and the bathroom is over the top. The One restaurant and bar has a great patio. The bartenders are great and love to share spirit insights. Especially Taylor, who taught me a lot on the ins and outs of Tequila.

Michael, as a male masseuse, was professional, quiet and calm, and created a relaxing environment for females. His 20+ years of experience sharpened his techniques, and within the 90 minutes he addressed the tense muscles from my back to my legs. I felt like noodles after that. Recommend trying the deep tissue massage!

Our online, pre-check-in process was quick & simple. Upon arrival at The Hazelton Hotel, the staff was extremely friendly and assisted with every step of the check in process. Justine graciously explained hotel amenities while walking my family to the elevator. The hotel and room was clean and in good condition. It is in a wonderful location surrounded by beautiful streets full of shopping and dining options. Most importantly, my family was warmly greeted and we all felt welcome from arrival to departure. The staff is outstanding, they take pride in their work and it is clear that they all enjoy being a part of the team assisting hotel guests.

My boyfriend and I had a truly unforgettable experience celebrating my birthday at this spa. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome and genuinely cared for. The level of service was exceptional from start to finish. A special thank you to Lana, Meilyn, and Michel, who were absolutely amazing. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our afternoon incredibly relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable. They went above and beyond to make our visit feel special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better birthday experience. I had the pleasure of taking my wife here for her birthday in early July, and plan on making it an annual event. Robert and his front of house staff made our stay remarkable. The check in process was seamless and made us feel beyond welcome, Rohan did an incredible job in helping us with recommendations for the area or asking if there was anything we would like to see. Our room was immaculately clean, and full of every amenity you would need. The staff knew in advance it was a special birthday for my wife and had some dessert waiting for us, which is above and beyond. Luckily, this hotel is in a historic part of Toronto with so much to do we wish we had more time to explore. We’re already looking forward to next year and wish we could visit sooner. Thank you again to the Hazelton staff for making us feel so special.

The location was perfect—it’s right in the heart of Yorkville, a quieter part of the city, but still close enough to take the train or catch an Uber if you want to explore downtown. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and luxurious, while still being functional. The service, though, is what really sets the Hazelton apart from bigger chain hotels. Everything about the hotel feels upscale, but the warmth of the staff makes you feel right at home. To be fair, when we travel, we really do choose hotels that will enhance the vacation, but the Hazelton exceeded our expectations. It wasn’t just a place to stay; it became part of the destination.

I rarely write reviews, but my recent experience at the spa here has compelled me to share how pleasant it was. I've noticed that they're adding to the experience by offering a larger selection of drinks and treats while I waited for my appointment with Gordana who is always incredible. There was also a new face at reception who I believe was named Ashley, from walking in she was so pleasant, helpful, and kind hearted checking in on me while I prepared for my appointment. I've been here a handful of times and I'll continue coming back. I look forward to my next visit.

We loved every moment at the Hazelton, we stayed in their beautiful Bellair Suite, which gave us incredible views of Yorkville ave, the gym was clean and quiet with fast and luxurious in room dinning, Toni at the concierge set us up with wonderful dinner experiences in Toronto while Jacob went out of his was to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay perfect.

We stay at The Hazelton every time we visit Toronto. Last year, we had to leave unexpectedly and weren’t able to use the final night we had booked. Robert not only welcomed us back to use our paid room, but went above and beyond by upgrading our stay, personally texting me to book and confirm everything, and providing us with a credit to use at ONE Restaurant. We were also so happy to see many of the same staff upon our return. The Hazelton has an amazing team and truly exceptional management.

The Group Sales Office was exceptional—professional, accommodating, and remarkably responsive. Planning a trip for ten women arriving from different cities is no small task, and the Hazelton team made the process seamless. Upon arrival, each and every member of the hotel team continued to impress us. The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to ensuring all of our needs were met. They went over and above on several occasions to help members of our group with small tasks: printing a boarding pass, steaming a dress, securing a breakfast reservation in the neighborhood, etc. The Hazelton sits on a corner. Their outside patio restaurant was a highlight from our stay providing great people watching and the perfect setting for our group. The food, service, and overall dining experience were outstanding! Great location, staff and hotel!

Not a great experience. I found the room average. The carpet was worn and in need of repair. Ceilings very flow. Decor underwhelming. Windows small. Seems like it was designed to out compete the old 4 season over the street. New 4 seasons overwhelming better than the Hazelton. AMEX late checkout not observed. We went out at noon and came back at 2 to find the bed stripped and the linens removed. Which I think sums up this place. No one really cares. Its very busy outside. The restaurant patio a hotspot. Supercar revving a headache later in the evening if you need an early night. So, kinda an instagram hotel. All surface, no substance.

It was a great experience staying at the Hazelton hotel for a short vacation. All the staff are extra friendly and helpful, and the level of the services are consistently high. Both Chloe and Kateryna (who helped me to check in an out of the hotel) are very professional and caring. I arrived a bit early, and Chloe helped arrange the gym and spa access as I wait for the room to be available, which is very nice. The room design is tasteful, elegant and functional, and room itself is very clean. The Juliet balcony is a nice plus for letting the fresh air to come in. The hotel’s location is in a upscale and central neighborhood, with museums, supermarkets, and many restaurants and boutiques stores nearby. I believe the hotel truly deserves to be rated the best in Toronto, and I can’t wait to book it again for my next visit.

The suite was one of the most well designed that we have ever stayed in. The location was excellent, but of course that depends where you need to be in Toronto.

This hotel truly stood out among our experiences in Toronto. The level of customer service was exceptional easily the best we have encountered in the city. In particular, Justine at the front desk was outstanding. She provided a warm, professional, and seamless check-in and check-out experience, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious, well appointed rooms that are both elegant and comfortable. I also had a facial at the Hazelton Spa, which was excellent. The spa amenities were quiet, relaxing, and very well maintained, adding to the overall experience. That said, there were a couple of areas that could be improved. At ONE Restaurant bar, I ordered a mocktail with a shot of vodka and was charged $25 for the vodka without being offered a choice of brand, which was unexpected. Additionally, our breakfast experience at the restaurant was underwhelming, both in terms of food quality and service. Despite these minor concerns, our overall stay was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return in the future.

Every staff member we encountered — from the valet to the front desk and beyond — was extremely pleasant, professional, and genuinely helpful. The lobby is beautiful and inviting, and the rooms are absolutely immaculate and impressive. You can really tell they take pride in every detail and the amenities. The rooms and hallways offer a quiet atmosphere helping to add to your relaxation, and provide a buffer from the liveliness of the city. The location is perfectly placed with shops and restaurants basically encircling it, giving you an excellent arrangement of choices. Easily a 10/10 stay and I will definitely be back.

From the pillow menu to the whiskey cart loved my stay. The room is opulence with a side of comfort. All the boutiques and restaurants are by your doorstep.

If you are bound for Toronto and you do not need to stay in the downtown business district, this should be your choice of where to stay, hands down ! Located in the heart of Yorkville, the surrounding area is great for shopping, dining, people watching and just strolling. The hotel itself is truly amazing. The rooms are large, well-designed, tastefully decorated and the oversized bathrooms are fantastic - dare I say the second best in the world (only beaten by The Burj Al Arab). These rooms offer superlative comfort to any traveler. The level of service throughout the hotel is beyond excellent; everyone from the front desk to housekeeping is exceptionally polite and incessantly helpful; no wish goes unfulfilled. A special shoutout to all the Doormen, especially Michael. The bar and restaurant at "ONE" are great, matching everything else at the Hazelton. And finally, the Spa and Fitness area are first class. The indoor pool is small ,but adequate to do laps. I can only sum up by saying that we are eagerly looking forward to our next stay.

This is a first class hotel, world class. I visit it frequently and the staff are always the same which says a lot about management and organization. Never had an issue, service is always prompt.

We booked a couples treatment and Angela at the front desk really stood out to us! She was incredibly friendly, courteous and helpful. She went as far as to give us a thorough tour of the facilities. She made our day feel special with her excellent service and even recommended additional services that we could enjoy while we we're there. I decided to treat myself for my birthday and visited the spa at The Hazelton Hotel and I’m really glad I did.The facial and body massage were amazing. Lana was so warm and was genuinely kind, made me feel really taken care of. The spa itself is cozy, it honestly feels like everything is just for you. Also, the hotel looks beautiful. I’d love to stay there one day. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but I think worth it. Thank you for such a lovely experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Went to the spa to use the pool during my stay over the weekend. Enjoyed the facilities. Angela at the desk was very informative and even more friendly.

There are hotels that provide a service, and then there are hotels that make you feel like you've been expected. The Hazelton is firmly the latter. The service here is proactive in a way that's genuinely rare. Someone is always at the door before you reach it. On checkout, a staff member takes your bags and walks them out to your ride while you're still heading to the door. At check-in as a returning guest, being greeted by name mid-sentence stopped me the first time it happened. That level of attentiveness isn't a policy, it's a culture. The details throughout your stay carry the same spirit: a handwritten welcome note, slippers placed just so, water exactly where you'd want it. Small things, but they add up to something the Japanese call omotenashi, hospitality rooted in anticipating needs before they're voiced. The Hazelton doesn't just check boxes. It's internalized what the boxes are for. Easily the best hotel I've stayed at.

One of the best hotels if not the best outright! Facilities and location could not be more prime. The concierge lady Victoria has a tremendous knowledge on the info you need. Very nice person to have any conversations with. She shows genuine interests in what is being said to her. She and everyone here makes anyone feel at home. I mean literally at home!

"Excellent" and a five rating does not begin to describe the extraordinary staff and service at the Hazelton. I stay at a Four Seasons property in another city 6-8x/year. The difference in experience is beyond compare. I want to send the Four Seasons staff to the Hazelton to learn what a 5 star hotel service should be, especially for business travelers! The many staff are available, knowledgeable, courteous. Room service arrives in less than 30 minutes. The concierge found and mailed me a lost earring after my departure within the space of an hour. When room service made mistakes in my order, the hotel immediately addressed the matter with grace and hospitality. And the rooms are beyond spacious and comfortable, with well thought out lighting and controls, amenities, outlets. Someone really thought this through. Did I mention the chocolate on the pillow? And of course the location perfect. This five star hotel delivers 10 star service.

What an amazing hotel with an amazing staff! We stayed here for my wife's birthday and it was great. The staff are a masterclass in hospitality as they made our stay memorable. We also enjoyed the hotel's location and the rooms! Felt like we were living in the city again which we missed. We can't wait for our next stay!

I booked a stay at the The Hazelton Hotel to celebrate my parents’ anniversary, and it exceeded every expectation. What stood out most was the personalized service. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely took the time to get to know us—something that felt truly special and rare. They even surprised me in honour of my upcoming birthday, which made the experience even more memorable. A heartfelt thank you to the front desk team—Justine, Nykalaus, Eskander, and Victoria—for going above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless. I also highly recommend the spa. We were warmly welcomed by Angela, who gave us a tour of the facilities, and the pool area was especially relaxing. Overall, a truly exceptional and memorable hospitality experience.

Was in the area decided to stop at their restaurant for an evening meal. First off as soon as I pulled up was greeted by Al which I don’t have enough kind words to say about his professionalism and warm greeting. Dinner was excellent fast service and great food. Now added to my go to list

Amazing gem of a hotel, everything from service, cleanliness, space, amenities, atmosphere, were spot on. At other hotels, it feels like once they get you through the door, they try to nickel and dime you. I'm contrast, The Hazelton was an effortless step into comfort without overbearing staff. The room was large, well finished, and stocked with a mini bar. Noise levels were near 0 due to insulated walls (unfortunately I may have been the noise as my baby woke up in the middle of the night and cried on and off for a few hours). Best of all, it's location is central to a lot of activity (no matter what your taste) and accessible from every direction of the city. 11/10 would definitely stay again!

This hotel is always the best staycation. The spa is small yet a true little gem. Darya and her team will make anything happen, it’s always a genuine experience with their warm smiles. Can’t wait to come back.

My family has started a tradition for the last few years of staying at the Hazelton for New Year's Eve. This year we were also hoping to catch the finale of our families favorite show. The staff at the Hazeltom tried very hard to get us tickets for the show playing in theaters but with no success. As an alternative they tried to bring the movie experience to our room with a larger TV. This gesture was incredibly unexpected. Unfortunately technology was not on our side and we couldn't watch. We figured no big deal we will watch it when we get home. The manager of the Hotel, Robert, did see this as a big deal and wanted to make it up to us. To our surprise he had delivered a special gift set to this show to our personal home. When we received it my kids went crazy and could not believe it. When I tell you sometimes it is worth spending the extra money because there are some Hotels that will go above and beyond, the Hazelton is one of those properties. Hats off to Robert and his incredible staff, you have customers for life with my family!

Everything was impeccably clean, and you can really feel the attention to detail throughout the hotel. The room service food was DELICIOUS, truly top notch and honestly probably the best we’ve had in Toronto. Every dish was outstanding, and the service was quick and professional. ❤️the biggest special shout out to AL for helping us with our luggage, he was so kind and helpful, attentive and a joy to talk to. And to the older gentleman doorman who was always greeted us and made the atmosphere so welcoming, we thoroughly enjoyed his conversations made us feel right at home. This will definitely be our go to hotel in Toronto. World class service. Can’t wait to come back!

I have stayed travelled the world and would say that I'm quite familiar with luxury hotels but The Hazleton exceeded all my expecations. A family friend recommended this hotel and I am was quite happy with my experience. I flew in from the US arriving at Billy Bishop airport, it only took 20 mins to from the airport to the hotel. The location is conveniently locate around many restaurants and shops which makes for a great area for a walk, coffee or dinner. Check was warm, attentive, and highly personalized. One of the night manager Tevin Darrel made checking seamless, he made himself available without being intrusive, asking us questions to help better make our stay our new home away from home.Every interaction felt genuine and professional. The rooms are just beautifully amazingly and spacious. The bathrooms are spa-like with deep soaking tubs and heated floors, and the attention to detail—from the linens to the lighting—makes the stay feel truly five-star. Overall I was very happy with my stay at The Hazleton Hotel and will most certainly return and recommend them to all my family and friends. Their lounge/restaurant offer great service and quality food, it's a great convenience if you have no plans and just want to hang out. Friday/Saturdays nights they have a DJ which definitely brings fun late night vibe. All staff at the hotel are all 5 Stars, front desk, housekeeping, concierge, doorman, day/night managers. We had a little staycation for my birthday recently. The Hazelton was brilliant, as usual. The hotel staff were their exceptional selves & treated us very special. These stays occasional moments of luxury for us, not a regular thing. So it's wonderful to be able to enjoy the Hazelton's quality. The room was large and super-comfortable. My wife loved the soaker tub! The on-site restaurant (ONE Restaurant) was delicious. Our visit was super-fun...shoutout to our server, Michelle! She was personable & excellent. We'd be happy to stay there again.

My friend and I just spent two nights at your fabulous hotel. Our room was luxurious. The two queen sized beds and pillows were excellent. We enjoyed both the pool and the bar. There are so many restaurants and venues within walking distance to visit. We especially enjoyed The Bata Shoe Museum. The concierge staff especially Al were outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our Staycation at The Hazleton Hotel!

The hotel is a wonderful place to visit. Al is hands down the best valet—extremely hospitable, kind, and always welcoming. His service truly enhanced our stay. We will definitely be visiting again
