The hotel feels like it needs upgrading. The breakfast on day one was lukewarm and inedible. Day two improved.

Doesn’t state on booking.com r hotel website about pool closures for swimming lesson if I was to have known this I wouldn’t have booked, we had traveled for a family wedding nearby and only booked this hotel as it had pool facilities, we arrived prepped kids for pool only to find it was closed for swimming lessons and had to wait until 6.30 to enter and pool closed at 7pm and only over 18s permitted after this

The location is outside town and good for motorists. The room was spacious and the bed finally a truly large one. Brakfast OK.. staff cooperative when room allocation problem was identified.

when we booked we requested rooms close to reception or lift and possibly close to each other as we have walking limitations. This request was ignored, to the extent that the person who checked us in had to change both rooms allocation. In the end , notwithstanding the change we had any way to walk more than wanted.

Large hotel, staff were lovely and friendly.. The Girl on reception greeted us with a courteous friendly Mayo smile, checked us in, told us where the lifts where and how to get to the room..which was clean, quite large, giant comfortable King size bed, free to air TV was good and had all the channels, Tea and coffee making facilities, not badly stocked but the housekeeping staff would ask if you wanted the room serviced and what you needed.. Food in the bar was very good..We shared chicken wings and my wife had Salmon which didn't come with any veg or sauce unfortunately even though sauce was requested on the side unfortunately..the Beef was nicely cooked and came with just spring onion mash..Breakfast was good and liked the self service coffee machine

They had a lot of tour groups in so you had to time your dining around them.. Location is just off the N26 main Road 5 to 10 mins away from Ballina which was quite busy and noisy..Our room was just over the main entrance to the leisure centre which was sometimes noisy with people talking..The leisure centre was small and couldnt get to use the small compact sauna as locals were monopolising it..Only 3 big men at a push could fit, so got bored swimming up and down the pool..gents changing rooms were also compact and hard to get a locker.. The breakfast was nice but no toaster for the gluten free table.. no one told us whether you could get poached eggs or only what was available on the buffet, The bathroom door kept opening behind you and had to be slammed shut which was annoying..but having reported it to the receptionist on checkout she was going to report it to maintenance..

La higiene podía ser mejor, porque había manchas en el suelo del baño de suciedad pisada y pegada. La ubicación fuerza a llegar en coche porque no hay otro medio. Andando, la ciudad está a más de media hora. Primero me dijeron que podían organizar un taxi para el día siguiente, después que a esas horas no habría taxis (pero ya había reservado). Tuve que cambiar el vuelo. Finalmente ofrecieron una cena que no pudieron dar, y al estar tan alejados resultó imposible ir a ninguna parte a cenar.

The bedrooms are a little dated , the bed wasn’t comfortable at all , the window in the room opened completely out which was a safety hazard as adults and kids could potentially fall out !

The staff and manager were very helpful and so nice to deal with. Very accommodating!! 10

The Hotel was a distance from downtown. It was however situated in a lovely area.

The hotel is clean comfortable and the food was excellent.

The parking was good, bed was comfortable. Food was nice. Staff were friendly.

Stairs were not vacuumed for the 4 days we were there. Handrail was dirty and paint was badly peeled off. Breakfast was completely self service, more like a hostel than a hotel. Water wasn’t replaced in the room, when asked for a refill at the bar barman was impatient about getting water for us.

The bed was terrible the springs where felt through the mattress very bad night's sleep and the pillows are way to hard we went down to stay one night because we wanted to drive around mayo coast the next day and because the sleep was that bad I thought it was going to be a nightmare but drove for 9 hours including going back to dublin and was fine,I hate doing a bad review because of the bed but everything else was great and only found out that the 3rd floor has upgraded rooms with beds so we will give it another go but only with the new rooms,thanks

Stayed for an event week Four star but lacked a fridge in the room and the safe was not working. Apparently NONE do throughout the hotel. May be over rated? Nice gym and pool facilities Very good food

The girl at reception was very rude. I went down to explain a concern I had about something in the room and she dismissed me before I had even finished the whole sentence. Thankfully the gentleman, Abdul, was much more pleasant. He listened to my concern and came up to the room to see what my concern was.

We loved our stay here from the amazing food, nice staff and luxury room. We were only a few minutes away from Ballina town and Baleek Woods which is an awesome place. We received a really good deal also so will definitely be back.

Great hotel ..staff were very helpful and friendly from reception to restaurant (both dinner & breakfast) would definitely recommend, thank you There was a girls on reception when I arrived on Friday the 17th around 6pm and she was there the next morning at 8am. Sorry I did not get her name, she was extremely helpful and excellent customer service. Special thank you to her.

Beautiful hotel. Gorgeous interior and room very spacious. Great value for money. Located very close to the town. Only experienced breakfast and it wasnt great. Very low on bread and Fruits and pastries. All self service and staff made no attempt at making sure everything was at standard. Rooms were way too hot and not a fan in sight. I understand that AC wouldn’t be available in Ireland but having no fans and the room at 27/28 degrees made it very uncomfortable

Great experience from start to finish. Friendly staff . Lovely room with comfortable bed . Spotless bathroom. We had dinner in the bar , food was very good and reasonably priced. Would reccomend. We will be back.

we liked the shower & bed was adequate.

the reception was mediocre, the room very stuffy, carpets stained & shower’s cold water was difficult to turn on (husband strongly turned dial) Charging for “bathing caps” to use the pool seemed antiquated. The drumming music in the event room kept my spouse awake until 11:30pm-annoyingly.

Nice hotel with good facilities. Rooms were clean and tea and coffee facilities provided. Helpful and friendly staff.

Rooms could do with a little refurb as the carpet was quite heavily stained.

We stayed here 2 nights as we had a wedding nearby. Hotel was spotless, room comfy and quiet and dinner in bar was very good. Friendly staff too. Great to have the use of the pool/steam too too. As a stopover hotel I can’t fault it.

Jedinym pozitivom bola starsia pani na recepcii, ktora sa nam velmi snazila poradit, ako sa dostat na pobrezie, vzdialene 30km. Na mieste nie je jednoduche zohnat taxik, bus v ziadnom pripade. Ziadny local tourist guide.

V izbe po prichode silna vona spreja, akokeby WC sprej. Bol to zjavne sprej proti moliam, ktore tam lietali. Chladnicka v 4**** hoteli musi byt, ako aj zaklady vanity kit - nic tam nebolo. Ranajky velmi slabe.

Had a midweek spa day and stay over with my friend we got a great deal . Location is quiet but perfect to just relax Massage and facial was amazing Food was so so tasty All staff we encountered were friendly and just lovely . We will be back. 100%

Just two tea bags and four tiny milks for two people! Asked for more and they brought them to the room. No water in the room in the morning. Shower stopped halfway, my husband was covered in soap with no way to rinse. No water to flush the toilet, no water to wash hands. No water to brush teeth, no water to make tea. Not rude but indifferent attitude from staff, they might as well have just shrugged their shoulders. We had to repeatedly ask at reception to find information about the water loss. We independently tracked down unused toilets on the floor. I met other guests also searching. After the one flush, stilll no way to wash hands. I used the hotel swimming pool and the showers still worked. So could they have offered us another room on another floor with water??? Manager on site was "Unable" to offer a refund. Senior manager was supposed to phone me. He has not contacted me. No phone call. No email. 🤷

I booked a deluxe room as I was a lone guest, but on arrival I got a 'family room' - Room 112 - and all rooms there was noise all night - did not get any sleep - complained to reception and was told because I used a booking site they assign these rooms and not deluxe room if you book direct. Room décor was jaded - well used - and needed to be refurbished.

Overpriced. Rooms were very tired. Facilities old and faulty. Breakfast was awful.
